A/N Therefore i present my first ever attempt at writing. It is not canon compliant and will be AU since I will be manipulating the timeline as i wish. English is not my first language. Constructive criticism is welcomed but don't be rude. I am writing for fun and hope you enjoy as well.

Chapter 3:

She started walking aimlessly. (or more like instinctively) Her clothes were in tatters she observed, her hair was undone and she must be looking like a beggar. (not that it was new or anything, at that age she was kicked out of the orphanage and looked the same) However anyone could make out the tenseness of her shoulders, or how her hands were just a little close to the weapons, she was ready any attack that may come her way (she was still in her battle mode).

A growing sense of dread appeared in her stomach when she caught sight of the Hokage monument. Her dulled lifeless blue eyes widened in a moment of panic. She cannot believe what she was seeing. There were only 3 faces on Hokage monument instead of 5.

"What?" she choked out in a harsh whisper. Unbeknownst to all a little light entered her eyes when she realized what her friends had meant by a second chance. So she ran again, this time towards the Hokage tower, where she could recognize her Jiji's large chakra signature that she was unconsciously trying not to feel. Resembling a yellow flash as she ran, she sensed someone running towards her. In her clouded mind and battle ready mode she just thought that someone was attacking her.

So she jumped with a little chakra and caught an arm twisting it behind his back. Proceeding to kick him in the knee and putting her feet on his spinal chord with too much force forcing him on the ground. All this happened in mere 2 seconds. She looked down with eyes so cold and calculating that it made the passerbys gulp.

"hey hey hey brat what is the big idea ? let me go! I am already late for my training as it is."

"Why did you attack me?" She asked coldly. "You are no zetsu. Don't you know who I am?" As the fog was lifting from her mind she asked again "Who are you?"

And with that question she came to her senses and let him go as if burned.

"Now you realized who I am huh?" he stood with his back facing to her.

With his thumb pointing to his chest he whirled around with a big smile and said what she never thought she will hear in her life ever.

"I am Obito Uchiha and I am gonna become Hokage" She stood there as still as a statue and as cold as a stone as reality was catching up to her. She realized with increasing clarity, that yes she has time been sent back to the past by all the bijus. "-Just remember to absolutely not tell anyone about your situation until I find you.-"

She fell on her butt when she discerned that if not for Obito attacking her slamming dammit not attacking she would have blown her cover. And suddenly the world lightened, and she exhaled a breath so heavy and with so many unspoken emotions that she felt just a tad lighter, like she could now breath easily (not properly no, she does not think she will ever be able to that) for the first time in a long while. Her eyes shined, (yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, black, pink, white and red) in a span of milliseconds with so much determination that she once again became a beacon of hope that she was wont to do. A chakra so warm and comforting emanated from her covering the whole village like an umbrella.

Babies gurgled happily, children played with more excitement, people's forced smiles became genuine and shinobi strengthened their vow to protect their village with their lives on the line for the precious people living in it.

Hiruzen Sarotobi, the third Hokage stopped smoking and looked out the window suddenly. He stood up to see who emanated such large and soothing chakra. However as soon as he got to the window it disappeared, leaving people reeling from the cold they were not aware they should have been feelings just moments ago.

"Bear, wolf, cat, raven go and check what is happening and report to me ASAP" Hiruzen barked his orders. Tensions rose among shinobi when they realized that it was due to someone's chakra that they felt so safe and strong. They shivered to think what would happen if such a person was to emanate a complete opposite feeling.

Naruto stood up, and reeled in her chakra. She bowed to Obito "I sincerely wish that your dream of becoming Hokage becomes true, Good Luck" (this time) turned around and took to the roof without looking back.

Obito stood there stunned as someone did not just laugh at him but acknowledged his dream properly and even wished him luck. "Wait" he called out but she was already very far. He followed her with his eyes and found that she was different from Rin but no less kind and beautiful. Maybe just maybe he can actually become Hokage with this person on his side "Just who is she?"
