CHAPTER 11: A vessel

Orochimaru did not know what happened where just earlier Uzunami was practicing her control with 35 leaves as he had suggested and doesn't that say something about her huge reserves when there was this sudden pressure of a huge ominous and potent chakra leaking from the girl. He was about to jump and attack her in case she proved herself a threat but she quickly reeled all that chakra in with ease. That was also the reason of her bad chakra control, he realized. All that control was going into suppressing that ominous chakra. Oh he can't wait to turn her loyalties to him and mold her into a perfect weapon for him to wield in the future.

He was distracted from his dark thoughts by an ear splitting scream, and immediately became tense, when he saw her on her knees with dazed eyes. He slapped four Chakra Suppression Seals on her forehead, arms and her stomach thinking that the ominous and potent chakra was hurting his new tool.

Naruto felt something sap her chakra and felt the immediate loss of whatever connection she had with Kurama. A sense of fear and despair washed over her. When her eyes focused in the real world to find the source of her despair, unadulterated hate surged within her when she found Orochimaru tense and ready with the seals in his hands.

She stood up slowly, not realizing that the seals were burning off, at not being able to handle the chakra overload. Eyes darkened with hate, pupils getting elongated and whisker marks becoming thicker, she looked positively feral. As she took a step towards him, she saw his eyes widen-

"How dare you take someone from me again?" she growled as the wind picked up around her reacting to her chakra. The dam she had built was cracking under the pressure of their chakra as it was reacting to her emotions. The killing intent in the air was so high that it made Orochimaru stumble because he had never felt anything like this before. He only stumbled because the dam was still present otherwise he would have fallen on his knees.

Orochimaru realized he screwed up and that this girl was not a mere child but a monster. He had to do something fast before the village's sensors come here, because they would, after all the amount of chakra she is leaking all over. As the last chakra suppression seal on her stomach was burning, he called out in an urgent, strict and loud voice-

"UZUMAKI NAMIKAZE HINA" oh he knew she was aware of her parentage and that her name was probably an alias but it doesn't take a genius to figure out her surname when you know she is an Uzumaki and related to Minato. Also this was his only option to snap her out of whatever delusion she had landed herself in. Naruto flinched hearing her real surname and the name of her soulmate from his mouth.

And just like that all the wind dropped and her markings of a Jinjuriki receded when she sensed multiple chakra signatures making their way towards the forest. Orochimaru exhaled a breath of relief when she became normal and hence, was not ready for her to lunge at him with speed rivaling that of a Jounin and disappeared from the forest in a black and yellow flash.

In different parts of the world the nine sons of the sage of six paths saw Orochimaru through the eyes of a vessel that contained their chakra and remembered a prophecy…
