Part 13 - Jacob's Reaction in Public
The next day, Bella and Sam walked around the reservation, as it was the weekend anyways, and they were also going to the local store where Joy, Quil's mom, worked at, and get some groceries for Sam's place, as he had told Bella that he needed some new things as he had ate out of his household last few days, and Bella was more than happy to help him out and also to hang out with him while doing grocery shopping, for she was shopping for her, her dad, Embry and Tiffany, as she was more than happy to do it as Tiffany worked alot nights and slept on day time, and Embry was busy with his own friends and was not so that happy to do it either.
So the two decided to do it together to get it faster done then on their own, which today was lucky, for Jacob come around them and would be rather rude and all sneers at them with angry glares on his face, as the two would walk around holding hands while taking care of the groceries they both needed to get for the households. His own father was not around either there to see this or them being that cozy already with each other. Jacob was with Embry and Quil there, and the other two were more indifferent about them dating, unlike Jacob who was a thundercloud and all stares of anger and digust at the two.
Bella went over to the bread, as Sam was over at the veggies, and Jacob came to her side, and said
"Hey Bells."
"Jacob, it is Bella, not Bells, and hi." He frowned but she turned at this point from him and walked back towards to Sam's side, when she heard Jacob say
"So how much did you pay Sam over there to be your so-called boyfriend?"
Bella stilled and turned and the others including Sam who had an angry frown on his face too, and she said
"Excuse me, what the hell did you just you say? Are you really that stupid to think of me in that way, just for I won't date yourself. Well if you really want to know why I won't, it is not just your attitude around me, but your childish age, as you are not ready to date anyone at your age. Now get lost little boy and leave me and Sam alone. OK?"
Bella went then over to Sam's and he gave her smile and nod, at how proud he was with her handling that young boy, who stood back at his spot with an open mouth and rather shocked look too, and Quil and Embry both stood shaking their heads and rolling their eyes, and the two gave a look to Bella and Sam, to let them know they were happy enough for the two, and Embry living with Bella, had gotten to know the real her, and therefore he knew how much she really loves Sam, and he was just happy for her.
After they had paid all their stuff, they went to Sam's place first to unload his stuff at his house, then he went with Bella back to her place she shared with Charlie, Tiffany and Embry, and Sam saw that Charlie was there, so he went to his side, and Bella went out to the kitchen and found Tiffany at the table drinking her coffee to wake up from her sleep, and Bella gave the woman a smile, and Tiffany said
"Oh hello B. How did it go?"
"Well for most part rather well, just a bit of confrontation with Jacob. Who thought he had rights to ask me how much I would pay Sam to date me or him to date me."
She gasped, then said
"He what, that boy said what?" Bella nodded, and Charlie came into the kitchen having heard the same from Sam, and he gave Bella a hug, and said
"I am proud of how you dealt with it, but I believe it is time to let the Elders deal with that boy, he clearly needs help that his parents are too busy to see themselves."
Bella nodded, and said
"Thanks daddy. I told him that he is way too young to date anyways and that he needs to let go of his obsession to date me, for I will never date him, now I have Sam and really loves Sam."ff
Sam just smiled by her dad's side, and that made Charlie and Tiffany smile too, as she said
"Quil and Em had no issues with Sam or us dating at least."
Making the parents grin and nod at that, and Charlie said
"I am going to go over to Old Quil's and talk to him about this, as it is time to deal with that boy for once."
The others nodded, and he gave Bella another hug and kiss on her head, and he left to Old Quil's. Bella then went ahead to get dinner ready, and Tiffany went to take her shower as she had the next few days off from work, and could get back on track to sleep normally and stuff like that. Sam decided to stay over for dinner for the night, and he also called his parents now he had moved out from their house, he kept up to calling them every other day to keep them in the loop and he let them also know what had happened, and both were shocked and angry, but proud of how Bella had dealt with it for now too.
