Surface life Will pick up right after the ending of undertale, frisk as accepted to become the ambassador to all monsters, and this will be a very fun read. This story Will be separated into three acts, Act 1 will all be about the settling into a new life above the surface, with New and old characters being apart of the story. Act 2 will be a very strong act out of the three other acts, it will have monster trying to tackle some of the biggest challenges they have ever faced, racism, xenophobia, corrupt politicians, pretty much anything that could happen to the monsters if they did leave the underground. Act 3 will be the climax to this story, tying up all lose ends and solving all the problems so monsters can live a peaceful life on the surface. I don't own undertale or anything related to it, duh.
Act 1
Chapter 1
The English isles, what beautiful islands they are, home to the English, the Scottish, the Whalish, and the Irish, what many people you can find here, and conveniently they all speak English. The islands hold rich history, from the days of the Roman empire, to the beginning of the protestant reformation, and a deadly disease that killed 70% of the population, the markings of the largest and cruel empire, to an epic final stand against humanities greatest evil. Yes sir the islands hold so much history, history that has been put down in the history books, but one event doesn't get spoken of, one that's not taught, one that has been buried, one that historians tried to dig up, one that changed the course of history, the battle between humans and monsters. Theirs a reason this was put in the back of the history books, and sometimes not even in the history books, nobody was meant to free the monsters. Monsters were considered dangerous because of the ability to absorb human souls and become God, when the humans found out about this, they massacred the monsters, a battle not be called a battle when you attack and your enemy has no time to react. The humans of the past were so scared of the monsters causing destruction and hell on earth that they never thought about what monsters were. Monsters are the kindest and most friendly creatures on planet earth, monster do act like humans but when it come to behavior, they would never hurt a soul, not even a human, and yes they did hurt them in the underground but what did you expect? They needed 7 human souls to break the barrier, 7 dead humans to be precise, I doesn't matter how you look at it, 7 humans need to die if the barrier is to be destroyed. This is not going to be about rainbows and cakes, this isn't a fairytale, the monsters have been freed, but this doesn't mean it's all uphill here from here, no, not at all. The year is 2115 even though the climate crisis is solved it doesn't mean the world is perfect, white supremacy, xenophobia, corruption, exploitive labor, slavery, incompetence, all the problem from 100 years ago still exist, it hasn't gotten better, but hey it didn't get worse, they still have the same power as they did 100 years ago. Can our monster friends make it through modern day problems and show humans they aren't evil, or will they be sent back into the underground tail between their legs.
The top of Mt. Ebbot
Frisk and Toriel were the only ones left on the mountain, the two had been through a lot if their life's, I mean everybody had been through a lot, sans with his depression, undue and her hatred for humanity, alphys huge anxiety disorder, asgore trying his best to protect his people, and papyrus not being able to join the royal guard. Toriel never thought she'd see the sun ever again, it's been hundreds of years since she felt the heat from the sun, wind blowing against her body, the smell of nature, she was happy to see the sun again. Frisk although saw the sun a few days ago was still amazed to see it again, he didn't think he'd live to see the sun again, he'd also been through a lot, what with fighting Asriel, almost being killed by him, learning of meeting Chara for the first time, so much went through his head he'd thought he was going to pass out.
"Frisk?" Toriel asked
Frisk only looked at her
"You came from this world, don't you have a home to go to?" Toriel asked
Frisk felt an awful feeling inside of him, truth be told, Frisk had no home, no family, and no friends on the surface, frisk parents had left him at an orphanage telling him it was a fun house to hide the fact that they couldn't have frisk anymore, when frisk found out he'd wouldn't be with his parents anymore he'd, well, how should i put this, he cried for two days begging for them to comeback. His parents never wanted to give him up, they loved him very much, but with them being only in their early 20's., jobs that wouldn't pay more to help their employees live, family benefits stripped away just so politicians could increase their salaries, their landlord jacking up rent prices to an unbelievable amount, the two just couldn't take care of Frisk without going on the streets and becoming homeless. When. Frisk learned of this years later, he respected the decision, although it didn't fully heal the wound, it answered his question on why his parents left him, this was the best choice for both parties, Frisk hoped that where ever his parents were, that they were safe and having a stable life. But even Frisk knew, that probably wasn't the case.
Frisk began pouring out tears as he'd realized, he has nowhere to go other than the orphanage, which was a hellfish place for him anyways, he was always the bullied one, there one you could make fun of all the time, the one you can cast away. Why was Frisk bullied their anyways you ask, well get ready because its stupid, are you ready? His skin was yellow. That's it, noting else other than his skin was yellow, he was often called an emoji because of his yellow skin, deep burn but still a dick thing to do.
"Frisk what's wrong?" Asked Toriel
Frisk knew he'd needed to talk to her
"I... I... I don't have a family to go to." Frisk cried out
Toriel felt sadden and touched by this, the only other child who'd felt like this that she knows was Chara, Toriel felt like she was comforting Chara after one of her many, and I mean many suicide attempts. Chara was always a troubled child, their was a very good reason why she hates u, before falling down the mountain Chara wasn't living the best life, but she wasn't living the worst life either, that would all change one day when her parents took her to an assembly for them. Chara thought that is was a play or a musical or a movie, nope not here, all she heard was a whole bunch of lies of how white people are endangered, how the minorities are taking over and how we need to exterminate them. All Chara wanted to do that day was slice the dude's head off that day for saying such awful things, she zoned out of his speech halfway through and didn't bother to listen to the rest of his speech. Suffice to say she didn't remember a God Damn Thing, so when her parents told her to recite the most important part of the speech, she'd couldn't recall anything, when asked if she wanted to go back and listen to him she had this to say, "If i go back there i'll probably kill him for being scum to this world." Although Chara never regrets the words she said, she wished she'd also killed her parents on that day as well, her parents beat the crap out of her for saying how scum should rot in hell, or in their words "how dare you say that about our Lord a savior." For two years Chara had to endure the abuse from her parents until she said that she was wrong and that she should be the one rotting in help for her actions, Chara refused to say she was in the wrong because she wasn't In the wrong. On the night she ran away to Mt. Ebbot, she set fire to the scum mans house, killing him in an inferno of raging fire. The rest is as we know is history, Chara tries to end herself at My Ebbot, she fails, Asriel saves her, Toriel and Asgore adopt her, she lives a peaceful life, tries to free the monsters with Asriels help, they fail and die. Over all a very sad life to live.
"Frisk, my child." Toriel said
"If you want you can stay and live with me, we can start over again, I can be your mother if you want." To risk said
Frisk was in tears about what was going on, his sadness about his parents leaving him, and his joy of Toriel wanting to adopt him.
"Please.I just want a family" said Frisk.
This is the end of the first chapter I gave Frisk and Chara background stories that I can See as plausible. Overall I can see this story going some where very exciting, I hope you. See the potential in this as well.
