To those who are curious Jaune strongly resembles the girl on the cover for this story.

Just imagine the white crop top covers the lower torso for Jaune and you're good.

Jaune glared at a sheepish looking Ruby, holding his stomach as Ruby supported him at the entrance to the assembly hall where all the initiates were.

"Uh well umm I got your hat back at least" Ruby squeaked giving Jaune a halfhearted grin. Jaune replied with a deadpan stare.

"Yeah sorry, too soon", Ruby sighed.

Jaune groaned "I told you I had motion sickness didn't I?" his stomach aching again.

"Brothers my stomach is doing somersaults right now", Jaune mumbled in pain.

Ruby whined "I know you only told me like 100 times already! I'll make it up to you I promise!"

"You better! I expect hot chocolate chip cookies and cherries" Jaune huffed not caring if he sounded like a petulant child.

Ruby blanched, Eww cherries. "How about strawberries instead and we can share?" Ruby offered.

Jaune just glared at her and pointed to his stomach.

"Okay geez I was kidding".

She wasn't but Jaune didn't need to know that.

Ruby then noticed a familiar mane of blonde in the crowd.

"Ooh ooh Jaune let me introduce you to my sister Yang she's loud, cool and also blonde like you!" Ruby gushed pointing towards Yang.

Jaune sighed "Sure Ruby, just don't use that semblance of yours to drag me over there"

Ruby ignored that comment and led Jaune to her sister walking this time for Jaune's sake.

And they said she couldn't be considerate.

Yang stood in the assembly hall waiting for her sister when she heard a familiar whiny voice.

"Yaaang!! I can't believe you ditched me like that!"

Yang turned around and looked down at her sister, Ruby's hands were on her hip with what Yang assumed Ruby thought was a scary glare.

Yang giggled and ruffled Ruby's hair fully knowing she hated it. "Sis, you know I love you but you know you have to meet other people besides me, "

Ruby grumbled shaking off Yang's hand from her head "Yeah and I got yelled at by some crabby snob and exploded in the middle of the courtyard!"

Yang's eyes widened. That sounded like quite the teasing opportunity. "Jeez Louise, don't blow up Ruby", Ruby replied by aiming a not so nice finger in response to her awesome pun.

Rude.

Yang then took notice of the blonde ponytail girl in a cap besides her little sister who was an inch or two shorter than her. Well she'll be damned.

"Ruuubyy" Yang grinned nudging at said girl. "You didn't tell me you made a friend, why don't you introduce me?"

Ruby eyes then widened and tugged at Jaune's arm, "Oh yeah Jaune, this is my sister Yang Xiao Long, Yang this is Jaune, wait a minute what's your last name Jaune? Do you not have a last name? Oh no are you an orphan or...", Yang decided to phase out the rest of the ramblings of Ruby.

Jaune huh? Weird name for a girl but hey, her name was Yang, so what could she say?

Yang grinned at Jaune holding a hand out,"Nice to meetcha Jaune, I'm glad you're willing to be friends with my sister knowing how weird she is"

Yang ignored Ruby's protests while she shook Jaune's hand. Her eyes then narrowed and she asked "Wait aren't you the one who nearly threw up?"

Jaune groaned "You two really are sisters, that was the first thing Ruby said to me too"

Yang snorted "Great minds think alike", she replied.

"Yeah great at making me look bad" Jaune muttered.

Yang laughed. Oh she liked this girl. She took notice of the cap on top of the blonde's head.

"So you going to take that hat off and show me whatever you're hiding on your face?" Yang asked. "Hopefully not a cursed lightning scar or a third eye or something" she joked.

"Yaaang don't tease Jaune!" Ruby whined elbowing her sister. Yang pointedly ignored her.

Jaune giggled a bit , "If by legendary you mean two eyes, a nose and a mouth then sure", he replied with some snark.

"Ooh feisty, I like that, then what are you waiting for?", Yang said.

Jaune shook his head mirthfully and took off his cap.

"Are you happy now?" he said smiling at Yang.

The whole assembly quietened down as soon as he spoke. That was weird, Jaune noted. He then heard whispers all over the hall.

"Holy mother of Remnant is she an angel?"

"I wonder if she would accept it if I asked her to marry me"

"Is she a member of some Royal family? She looks like a princess!"

"I never knew there was such a thing as a 20/10!"

Well that was odd maybe a celebrity showed up?, Jaune thought as he didn't see the Headmaster appear on stage yet.

He then returned his attention to Yang, "Umm Yang?"

Yang finally seemed to come out of whatever coma she was in "O-Oh yeah Jaune well uhh you look umm not too bad, no cursed scars I see hehe" she stuttered out awkwardly.

Jaune beamed at her compliment, dimples on full display "Thanks Yang!"

Yang seemed to recoil like some light was shining too bright on her face. A few thuds that sounded suspiciously like people fainting in the background rang in the hall.

Yang then grabbed the cap from Jaune and forcefully placed it back on his head. Jaune regarded her with a puzzled expression, "Why did you put it back on so roughly?"

Yang stared at him and said with a tone of utmost conviction, "One shouldn't look directly at the sun."

"What are you talking ab-"

Ruby shushed Jaune placing a finger on his lips.

"Listen to Yang."

"What?" Jaune asked once more. Was he the only one acting normal here?

Ruby could only shake her head in exasperation, not elaborating for the sake of Jaune's mental health.

And they said she wasn't considerate.

Ruby and Yang were now busy preparing to go to sleep in the ballroom that Ms Goodwitch led all the first years to after the odd speech of the Headmaster Ozpin.

The sisters had separated from Jaune when they went to put their gear in the lockers, promising to meet up later.

"It's like one giant sleepover ain't it Ruby?" Yang said lying down on a sleeping mat now wearing her PJs, an orange tank top and black shorts.

"Yeah , I don't think Dad would appreciate the boys though" Ruby observed, sitting cross-legged beside her sister, scroll in hand preoccupied with beating the newest level in Trigonometry Run. Now also clad in her PJs, a black tank top and white pants with pink polka dots.

"Well mama likes what she sees " Yang purred, busy ogling at the shirtless guys at the end of the ballroom, humming in appreciation after their muscles flexed in a way she liked.

Ruby didn't really get the appeal of shirtless guys, like wouldn't they be cold throughout the night? But hey, Yang was always weird so she didn't think too much of it. She then thought of her newest friend.

"I wonder where Jaune is, it's been a while since we've seen her "Ruby said.

Yang redirected her attention to her sister once more, "Well Jaune did say she had to call her family before she could change "she answered.

"It's been like an hour now though!", Ruby whined.

Yang smiled and wrapped her arms around Ruby "Aww Ruby! You make one friend and suddenly forget about your dear old sister?" Yang said feigning hurt.

Ruby snorted trying in vain to escape her sister's grasp, "That's funny coming from the one who ditched me earlier!"

"But because of that you got a friend in Jaune so you should be thanking me!", Yang pointed out.

"Yeah but I also met Weiss so that's like a negative friend" Ruby groaned still trying to escape the clutches of Yang.

Yang blinked. "Weiss? Oh the girl you blew up earlier was it?"

Ruby frowned at the words of Yang. "Don't say 'blew up', more like spontaneously combusted with an accidental sneeze".

Yang shook her head "Yeah yeah whatever you say Ruby, you still made her go boom boom"

Before Ruby could complain about wording any further she heard a voice she wished she never did.

"You!", a certain Weiss Schnee hissed pointing a finger at someone, someone that looked like Ruby Rose. Oh wait she was Ruby. She was screwed.

Oh Brothers help me, Ruby thought. She decided to be nice and hopefully de-escalate the situation before it got any worse.

She put on her best smile and nervously began "Heeyy Weiss, nice night isn't it?" Weiss's glare somehow got even worse.

"Don't you dare try to do the niceties now! You nearly blew us up off the face of Remnant you immature child!"

"I was just trying to be nice Princess! I already apologized, it was an accident" Ruby defended herself. How the nastiest glare she had ever seen got even worse, Ruby couldn't tell you.

Weiss' whole being seemed to vibrate with anger "First of all, it's Heiress!" Weiss corrected, "And second of all, an accident doesn't result in nearly dying because some immature brat couldn't hold in a sneeze!"

"Woah woah woah" Yang cut in, separating both girls from each other. "Calm down you two, it sounds like you both got off on the wrong foot", she then turned to Weiss.

"Weiss right? Well Ruby did apologize and you are alive and dandy so maybe we could sweep this under the rug and maybe even become friends with Ruby over here," Yang suggested.

Weiss scoffed at the suggestion "Yeah sure we can become friends and we can paint our nails and talk about cute boys like those hooligans in the corner who seemed to have lost their shirts!", Weiss screeched in a tone so sarcastic that even the most dense person could hear it.

"Really?!"

However Ruby wasn't like most people.

"No!" Weiss finished in an incredulous tone. Yang's irises flashed between crimson and lilac promising pain.

"What's your problem with my sister?! She already apologized, why can't you just remove that stick up your ass and let bygones be bygones!" Yang said staring down Weiss as she said her piece.

However, Weiss wasn't a girl to be intimidated by such antics so she stood her ground.

"My problem is that somehow a child was let into Beacon and is a serious health hazard to all students here!"

Yang's irises were fully crimson and she cracked her knuckles. "Oh believe me by the time I'm done with you you won't need to worry about Beacon" Yang muttered in a dark tone promising nothing but violence.

Ruby tried to intervene holding her sister's arms back "Yang calm down please, don't make a scene, just ignore her" she pleaded. Her efforts were seemingly in vain though.

The room filled with tension as they watched in anticipation of the upcoming fight when a feminine yelp rang throughout the room.

All eyes were drawn towards the source of this yelp. What they saw next would make even the most bitter man's heart beat fast.

At the entrance to the ballroom stood a familiar blonde. still recovering after their face had a surprise headbutt competition with the floor.

"Ouch! I knew I shouldn't have run here with these slippers" Jaune muttered rubbing his nose with his left hand his other hand clutching his pillow.

The eyes of the occupants in the room widened as they took in the appearance of Jaune.

There was no longer any hat on top of his head with his ponytail released leaving his silky blonde locks to fall like a waterfall covering his lower back.

He wore an oversized pale yellow silk shirt with some buttons opened that exposed his delicate collarbone, the sleeves engulfing his hands and matching silk shorts that only covered his upper thigh leaving the sight of his long milky legs exposed. A pair of fuzzy blue slippers lay on his feet.

That added with his slightly teary blue eyes after his collision with the floor ,his sore red nose and his overall short stature only added to his angelic appearance as the occupants of the room apparently forgot how to breathe.

Jaune then smiled as he noticed Ruby and Yang and quickly skipped over to them. His hair bouncing along with his movements.

If Jaune had listened closely he would have heard multiple thumps that sounded suspiciously similar to people fainting .

"Hey girls!" he waved beaming at the sisters. Yang and Ruby stared at Jaune fish-eyed and their mouth wide open before quickly regaining their mental facilities, completely forgetting the presence of the heiress they had came close to blows with seconds ago.

"Hi Jaune!" Ruby squeaked dashing over to Jaune giving him a hug "What took you so long?" She asked mock glaring at Jaune.

Jaune pretended to be deep in thought after this question, only stopping to giggle after Ruby started hitting his shoulder and gave him a sad pout.

"Don't worry Ruby, my family decided to interrogate me after I mentioned I made friends, they only let me hang up when I mentioned you were both girls" Jaune shrugged not really getting it.

Ruby nodded understanding his family's concern, she would be worried if someone as oblivious and adorable as Jaune made friends with any random guy.

An arm then wrapped around Jaune's shoulder, he looked up to meet Yang's lilac eyes noting she was a lot taller than him.

"Hey yourself dearie, I hope you didn't forget about me" Yang smirked.

Cough!

Jaune laughed "Yang you literally look like you could be one of my elder sisters! Of course I didn't" shaking his head in a manner that Yang found adorable.

Yang then surveyed the room noting the states of most of the occupants. The majority passed out with a smile, red in the face with the majority of males suffering from nose bleeds.

Cough! Cough!

Yang whistled impressed at Jaune's killstreak "Whew, you're something else Jaune, look at what you did to the poor people here"

Jaune tilted his head in confusion. What did she mean?

"Hmm? Aren't they just sleeping?" He frowned slightly when he noticed a lot of red faces, "All though a lot of their faces do look quite warm, maybe I accidentally turned the AC up "Jaune said with worry.

Yang and Ruby could only facepalm at Jaune's obliviousness. This girl doesn't know how beautiful she is!, the sisters thought simultaneously.

COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!

Yang yawned "Someone really needs to get a cough drop, anyways let's get to bed girls Mama Yang needs her beauty sleep" Yang then walked of to their sleeping bags.

Jaune scowled "I'm not a gi-"

Ruby interrupted by yawning while stretching her arms

"Yeah let's sleep, Jaune you should sleep by us, we can protect you from any weirdos that approach you,"

COUGH! COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!

Jaune had a puzzled expression plastered on his face due to Ruby's words

"Why would anyone do that? It's not like I'm carrying anything valuable"

Ruby just sighed at Jaune's obliviousness, taking his hand ignoring his small protests and following after Yang.

Looks like she needs to protect Jaune while they're at Beacon, Jaune was too trusting and oblivious and judging by the looks of some of the people in this room they would be quick to take advantage of that. She shook her head once more.

And they said she couldn't be considerate.

Weiss was left to stand by herself completely dumbfounded by how she was ignored by three people when she was literally in front of them!

She even coughed to get their attention multiple times and they still ignored her!

Maybe Papa Schnee had a point after all, Vale really was the place of weird folk.

She should have just gone to Atlas Academy.

Her dad would be there, but hey, at least the people there were normal.
