So I may have slightly underestimated the release time for this chapter so I apologize.

Jaune strolled into the locker rooms with a depressed blob resembling Ruby closely following behind , now fully dressed in the same outfit as the day before with his hair in a ponytail once more.
He had been able to change outfits fast because as he walked in the guys changing room, all the guys had left at once. Maybe they were all running late too.
He had tried to make conversation with Ruby when they met up again but all she could let out were small groans and murmurs that suspiciously sounded like the words 'My life is a lie'.
They soon made their respective ways, separating from one another. Jaune frowned at Ruby's behaviour, was it really that much of a surprise he was a guy?
Jaune shrugged and decided not to think too much about it, he had a sword and leg guards to grab!
As he made his way towards his locker, various hushed whispers could be heard around the room.
"Yoo, apparently that's a dude bro?.. Yeah I can't believe it myself bro, what is life?"
"I was going to ask him to go out with me, I'm going to cry!"
"How does he look better than 99% of us girls, this isn't fair!"
"Is it weird that I find it better if he's a guy?"
Jaune didn't pay any mind to the whispers as he was solely focused on finding locker no. 626.
'Where the heck is this locker?!' he panicked.
His eyes glanced around as he finally noticed the number however, a tall red haired girl in bronze armour and a short white haired girl in all white were blocking the way.
He made his way over to them.
"Hi excuse me, could you move out the way please? My locker is behind you two" he asked the girls.
Pyrrha Nikos had always carried a reputation of having no weaknesses. She was blessed with intelligence, combat prowess and beauty.
This is reflected in her nicknames the 'Invincible Girl' and the 'Goddess of Victory' however, she has one major weakness that not a single soul is privy to.
This crippling weakness of hers could ruin her if it was ever revealed.
Yes, this weakness was so powerful that it could render even the 'Invincible Girl' weak to her knees, bumbling like a fool.
Femboys.
That's right. Femboys.
They were the kryptonite to her soul.
The water to her flame.
So when the blonde beauty rumoured to be a guy approached her, she was what the cool kids would call a 'hot mess'.
"Umm sorry, did you hear me? Could you move out the way my locker is behind you," the blonde angel asked in that beautiful voice of his, tapping her arm.
Pyrrha composed herself, put on her best smile and just as she was about to respond, Weiss Schnee cut in.
"Excuse me! Do you know who you're talking to-UwAaaAAh!"
Pyrrha lost all patience with the white gremlin and threw her out the way and redirected her smile once more towards the blonde angel.
"Hello! It's nice to meet you my name is Pyrrha Nikos, what's your name?" she eagerly introduced herself hoping she didn't come off too strong right now.
A faint thump followed by a 'Guh' could be heard in the background.
Jaune stared in disbelief, "Umm, it's Jaune, sorry but did you just throw that gi-"
"Don't worry about that," Pyrrha quickly cut him off, still giving Jaune a winning smile.
Jaune was beginning to get weirded out.
"Uhhhh okayy? Anyways, my locker is behind you so could you move please?"
Pyrrha's eyes widened, this angel didn't seem to recognise her.
"Oh! Pardon me!" she said awkwardly as she stepped out the way.
Jaune gave her a small smile of gratitude and began to grab his stuff.
Pyrrha's face reddened when she saw that beautiful smile.
'Calm down girl! Stay composed!'
Jaune strapped Crocea Mors to his side and was in the process of attaching his leg armour when Pyrrha spoke up again.
"So Jaune what do you say about us being partners?" Pyrrha asked
Jaune jumped slightly, he didn't expect for her to still be around.
Jaune gave a forced laugh "I don't know about that... Pyrrha was it?, I'm pretty sure it happens randomly"
Pyrrha took a step closer towards Jaune staring intensely at him "I'd fancy our chances of ending up together, I think it's meant to be"
Woah, this was quickly getting uncomfortable for Jaune.
He took a step away from Pyrrha but her height made that effort useless.
"Mmm, yeah, maybe I guess?" Jaune vaguely offered, trying to be friendly.
Pyrrha's face flushed even more, eyes bloodshot and breathing heavily as she closed in further on Jaune. "Don't worry honey buns, I'll make sure we're together, no matter what ", her smile was the farthest thing from pure.
Jaune began to sweat nervously. This girl was pinging all his danger senses! Where was the stranger-danger whistle his sisters gifted him when he needed it?!
He looked for a way to leave when before he could blink he was suddenly grabbed by someone.
All that could be heard was a shriek of pure terror from Jaune's lips as he was pulled away.
Pyrhha who at this point was living in her fantasies, never had a clue.
Ruby had finally recovered from the shock of the revelation of Jaune's gender and was looking around the lockers to apologize to him for her behaviour.
Nothing really changed if Jaune was a guy, they were still friends after all!
And Jaune was so freaking pretty and naive that she still feared that a weirdo would still try to take advantage of him regardless of his gender. She almost felt like a worried mother.
Huh, was this how Yang felt about her?
She shook her head, that didn't matter right now. Even if the chances were low, Jaune could currently be in the clutches of some pervert!
So imagine her shock and horror when she turned at a corner and found Jaune being accosted by some tall red head girl with the most perverted grin she had ever witnessed
'Oh no I have to save him!', Ruby panicked.
She quickly sprung into action grabbing Jaune and running out of the lockers to the cliffs.
Jaune glared at a bashful Ruby, holding his stomach as they currently waited for the other initiates to arrive at the cliffs.
"Hehe sorry Jaune I might have possibly forgotten about your motion sickness again, oopsie" Ruby said quite embarrassed.
Jaune sighed "You know what? I'm not even mad this time Ruby, you did save me from that Pyrrha girl after all." Jaune shivered just thinking of that girl's smile.
Ruby's eyes widened in recognition. "Wait that weirdo was Pyrrha Nikos?!"
Jaune nodded,"Yeah that's what she called herself, is she a big deal or something?"
Ruby looked at Jaune in disbelief. There was a Huntsman on Remnant that didn't know Pyrrha Nikos?
"She's the four time Mistral Champion, of course she's a big deal Jaune!"
Jaune whistled trying to sound impressed about something he didn't know nor care about, "Well Pyrrha is umm... intense to say, so I guess I can see her doing that"
Ruby snorted. An intense pervert more like in her opinion but she decided not to voice those thoughts as the cliffs began to become more populated with initiates.
Hushes and whispers became more prominent. Ruby could guess what they were focused on and she didn't like it.
She moved closer to an oblivious Jaune's side acting as a barrier towards curious onlookers, giving dangerous glares to whoever looked at Jaune in a manner she didn't like.
Her glare softened as she noticed Yang and was about to call her over when a stern female voice spoke quietening all the chattering.
It was the vice Headmaster, Glynda Goodwitch who stood to the side of the Headmaster Ozpin.
"Be quiet children! The Headmaster will now explain what will be done during Initiation", Goodwitch declared.
Ozpin nodded and adjusted his glasses. "Thank you Glynda, the mission for this initiation will be a search and rescue, your objective will be to-"
"My sincerest apologies for my tardiness Headmaster!" a slightly bruised Weiss Schnee interrupted, bowing as she limped her way towards the congregation of students.
"I had a slight problem with a certain student", Weiss finished, glaring at a certain redhead with a ponytail. Said redhead didnt even acknowledge the glare.
Ruby's brows raised, Weiss was the last person she'd expect to be late to anything. She guessed first impressions weren't everything.
Ozpin blinked before taking another sip of his coffee and continuing
"No worries Ms Schnee, now as I was saying your objective will be to partner up with another initiate and procure a single relic for each pair in an abandoned ruin in the north of the Emerald Forest. Once you do, return at the designated extraction point and your mission will be considered a sucess."
Goodwitch then spoke "You may also have heard rumours about how partners will be formed so allow us to end them right now."
"The first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for the next 4 years so I would advise to choose wisely" Ozpin finished.
Jaune hummed. Well that was a unique way to get a partner. He would like if he could end partnering up with Ruby or Yang, they were friendly and reminded him of his sisters, albeit infinitely more sane.
He then looked to his left to see a Ruby who looked like she was one step away from a mental breakdown.
'NoNoNoNo this is the worst, what if I get matched with someone that isn't Yang or Jaune?!' Ruby panicked.
Ruby then felt a hand on her shoulder turning to meet Jaune's bright and dimpled smile.
'Gah!' Ruby recoiled, awe-stricken once again by Jaune's beauty. Can a face like that really belong to a guy?!
"Don't worry Ruby, you'll be fine after all you got in here two years early, you're special compared to us here" Jaune said nodding in encouragement, his ponytail bobbing along with his movements.
Ruby calmed down seeing how confident Jaune was in her capabilities, however she had to tell Jaune one thing and she would feel fully fine.
"I'd like to be partners with you Jaune but if that doesn't happen promise me you'll do your best to avoid Pyrrh-AAAAAAAA!!!"
Jaune never got to hear the last part of Ruby's sentence as she was blasted off the cliffs via launchpad.
Jaune and Yang's mouths were wide open in horror. "RUBY! WAIT ILL COME GET YO- WAaaaAAAAA!!!"
Jaune never got to finish that sentence as he too, along with Yang the rest of the initiates were blasted off the cliffs via launchpad.
Ozpin had a small smile on his face, "Ah, that never gets old."
Glynda could only shake her head at her boss's childishness, "Really Ozpin?"
Ozpin merely took another sip of coffee.
If Jaune had one lien for every time he was flung into the air against his own consent he would have a few hundred by now.
Which if he thought about it was definitely odd but he had lived with his family for 17 years so it explained itself.
This is why he didn't panic too much as he found himself flying above the Grimm-ridden forest. He could vaguely hear Yang having the time of her life and Ruby screaming about a 'birdy'.
He spread his arms out as he used his jacket to catch some air to slow down a bit as his descent towards the trees began.
Suddenly, Jaune felt a dangerous presence and quickly twisted his body out of the way. A red spear narrowly missed him which was then followed by a feminine scream of despair.
Jaune wondered who had misplaced their weapon so badly, luckily his mother had trained him at avoiding objects in midair by throwing him in the air while his sisters hurtled wooden spears at him. Those bruises took ages to disappear even with aura.
He quickly forgot that memory as he generated large amounts of aura throughout his body. The ground was rapidly approaching so it was time for the famed Arc family landing strategy.
Try to land on two feet and make it look good.
Jaune's hands caught onto a thick branch which he then used his momentum as leverage to launch himself off into the air with a backflip following with a 720 twist before landing softly on the ground with his two feet. His arms raised in the air like a gymnast as he then bowed.
'Oh yeah I totally nailed that', Jaune thought with a smug look on his face.
"Meh that was like a 2/10 at best, not enough explosions in my opinion" a girls voice spoke sounding bored.
What?! Jaune was outraged, he nailed that landing! He turned around to the source of the voice to complain.
"What are you saying?! I was graceful in that land-" Jaune stopped as he made eye contact with the stranger, his mouth widened in horror as he noticed who he was looking at.
Those turquoise eyes, short ginger hair, pink skirt and white top.
The girls mouth widened in similar horror.
"You Heathen/Sinner!", Nora and Jaune simultaneously yelled, pointing at each other with righteous anger.
Jaune only wished he had thought of investing in sunglasses like Yang, he can't be partners with a waffle hating sinner!
Pyrrha Nikos was currently on a warpath furiously running through the forest, mercilessly cutting down any Grimm that dare tried to get in her way.
She failed in securing her cute femboy gf last time but she was confident that she could reach him before anyone else could this time!
She bulldozed her way through another stray branch as she saw a flash of blonde hair.
'YES! I GOT HIM!' Pyrrha celebrated internally.
Pyrrha sprinted with all her might and just as she was about to call out, the blonde turned around and Pyrrha made eye contact with lilac coloured irises.
She took notice of the features of the blonde, long hair, lilac eyes and a large chest.
Wait... Large chest?
"NOOOO! MY CUTE FEMBOY GF!!" Pyrrha wailed in despair as she slowly fell to her hands and knees and wept in anguish.
Yang could only look at this spectacle, bamboozled by what she was witnessing.
'Oh great, she's a freaking weirdo' Yang thought.
"Gotta find Yang! Gotta find Jaune! Gotta find Yang! Gotta find Jaune!" ,Ruby panicked as she sprinted through the forest looking for any signs of blonde hair.
Getting randomly launched in the air was terrifying but nothing she couldn't handle as a Huntress in training.
What she couldn't handle was having to make a fool of herself by partnering with someone who would probably be weirded out by her like that crabby Weiss girl.
Being part of the Socially Awkward club sucked.
Ruby then walked into open field surrounded by trees. There she saw a familiar green figure as they used an aura infused palm to blow off the head of a King Taijutu.
The figure then dusted themselves and turned around.
Pink met silver as neither Ren or Ruby spoke.
Ren started to get unnerved by this impromptu staring contest so he broke the ice.
...
"Hello...Ruby was it?"
Ruby's eyes suddenly brightened as a large smile developed on her face.
"KYAAAA!!! You were sooo cooool! You're like one of those ninjas in my favourite comic books like the way you went Hiiyaa then the snake head went BOOOM and..." Ruby exploded in excitement, not pausing to breathe even once as she jumped around.
Ren sighed, she was certainly an excitable girl wasn't she?
His new partner wasn't Nora but she did seem nice enough and the way she looked after that blonde gir- guy (Ren was still confused over that reveal) showed she was somewhat responsible.
He guessed it wouldn't be too bad.
Weiss sighed as she walked slowly through the Emerald Forest.
For the first time in a long time, Weiss felt completely mentally defeated. She had been having the two worst days in recent memory back to back.
First she nearly dies, ironically by means of a dust explosion because of some hyperactive child, then her existence is completely ignored as she attempted to scold said child and after when she talked to one of the few idols she had, Pyrrha Nikos, she gets tossed aside by her like a dust rag.
Literally, no FIGURATIVELY tossed aside.
So no one could blame her when she considered just turning around back to the cliffs and taking the first flight back to Atlas.
Then she remembered that she joined Beacon to escape Atlas and her father's influence in the first
place.
"Rats!",Weiss cursed underneath her breath. She couldn't win in any situation regardless.
"GRRRRRRRRRR"
Weiss stopped moving as she heard the telltale sign of Grimm. She looked around spotting a pack of beowolves. She immediately clutched her weapon Myrtenaster and set the dust barrel to fire dust.
Weiss didn't care if she caused the forest to set on fire, she was going to let out her frustration on the Grimm no matter what.
Weiss prepared her time dilation glyph to pounce on the beowolves just to see a monochrome themed girl in a big black bow get rid of them all.
Weiss could only sigh, she wasn't even angry anymore. She was just tired.
Weiss dropped to the ground sitting lazily. She honestly didn't care anymore.
The monochrome girl approached Weiss and both their eyes widened when they recognised each other as Amber met Pale blue.
"Ugh, don't tell me you're here to insult my family and I once more" Weiss groaned.
Blake was surprised at Weiss's tone. She sounded done with everything in life. Blake could kind of relate too.
"No just here to introduce myself, call me Blake, Blake Belladonna, I already know who you are" Blake bluntly said.
Weiss snorted "Don't you hate me or something partner?" Weiss sarcastically drawled.
Blake blinked at the attitude. A lightbulb then turned on in her mind. She had the perfect idea.
Weiss looked on in muted curiosity as Blake reached into her pockets and grabbed thin white paper.
Then she grabbed a plastic bag filled with suspicious green looking plants.
She placed the green plants onto the paper before rolling it up.
Weiss looked at Blake with some confusion. Blake spoke up once more when she saw the look of confusion on the heiresses face.
"First of all I don't hate you, I do hate your dad though and secondly what I'm carrying is called 'Zaza', it'll change your life and you like you need it" Blake unfurled a lighter and lit up the 'ZaZa'.
She took one big inhale before blowing out the smoke and held it out for Weiss to take.
Weiss blinked, that sounded really suspicious but at the same time she didn't really care about initiation anymore.
"You know what? Screw it, pass it over Blake," Weiss answered. If she was going to fail initiation she may as well try something new.
Blake smiled handing the Zaza to Weiss, looks like Weiss Schnee wasn't so stuck up after all.
"So.. do you put cereal first in the bowl or the milk?" Jaune asked Nora as they walked up North through the forest.
They had decided to settle the pancakes Vs waffle debate at a later date as they actually had an initiation to complete.
"Milk first obviously" Nora said.
Jaune went aghast at Nora's declaration. He pointed at Nora with a shaky finger, disbelief written all over his feminine features.
"Ma- Madness! Everyone knows you put cereal first, the milk to cereal ratio is perfect that way!" Jaune said with conviction.
Nora gave Jaune a wild grin "Who said I wanted a perfect milk to cereal ratio Jauney? I just want to enjoy my milky cereal goodness, splashes of milk be damned!"
They both stared fiercely at each other, before giggling.
"You know what Nora, you're not too bad even if you're a sinner", Jaune grinned.
"Mhmm, you too Jauney! Even if you're a heathen", Nora replied with a bright smile.
They both continued walking talking about mundane activities until Nora stomped her feet in frustration.
"Jauneyyy! I'm getting so bored of walking, let's hitch an Ursa to get there faster" Nora suggested.
Jaune paled "Oh heck no Nora, I get motion sickness, if I did that it would end with vomit everywhere including you!"
Nora pouted. It was such a great idea too!
Jaune cleared his throat, getting Nora's attention once more.
"Although, I do have a technique that can summon a mode of transport. It's a secret technique from my family so you must never reveal the name, alright Nora?" Jaune made eye contact with Nora who nodded rapidly.
"Ooooh that sounds EPIC! Do you use hand signs to summon it or use your own blood or.." Nora ranted.
Jaune shook his head in negative affirmation. "No Nora, it's called the Hare Hare Yukai. It's a sacred ritual dance that apparently comes from one of our distant ancestors Haruhi Arc who lived in Mistral."
Nora hummed. "That sounds crazy!"
Jaune snorted "Not really everyone in my family learns how to do it, anyways step a bit away from me Nora, I need some space", Jaune then removed his coat placing it on the floor.
Nora complied and watched as Jaune pulled out his scroll before playing a high tempo Mistrali song.
She watched in awe as Jaune started to dance the cutest ritual dance she had ever seen.
He bounced his hips side to side, his ponytail bobbing as he danced. At the climax of the song, his body moved smoothly from one sequence to another and then he ended it with him posing with one arm pointing towards the sky, smiling at Nora.
...
"Wooww Jauneyy! You were sooo Cyuuuute! Oh my Gawd!!!" Nora squealed as she ran and dived to hug and squeeze Jaune
Jaune winced at the strength of her hug, she was pretty similar to his mother in strength.
"Thanks Nora, you might want to step back now though, it should be coming soon" he advised, somehow releasing himself from Nora's clutches to put his jacket on once more.
Nora nodded and waited.
...
And waited.
...
And waited.
Nora was about to burst in impatience, when she suddenly heard a large noise.
CAAAWWWW!!
She looked up to see a giant black shadow approaching rapidly in the sky.
Her mouth dropped when that black shadow was revealed to be Giant Nevermore
"Umm Jauney don't tell me, you meant for that humongous nevermore to show up?" she asked nervously.
Jaune had nervous sweat rushing down his face.
"N-No that was not the plan", he stuttered. Jaune then suddenly remembered something important.
"Oh wait, mom did mention the Hare Hare Yukai had a 25% chance of attracting Nevermores, I guess RNG wasn't on my side... ehe", he sheepishly explained, trying to look as small as possible.
"What do you mean ehe?!" Nora yelled.
Jaune wasn't given time to respond as the Nevermore screeched releasing a barrage of feathers at Nora and him.
'Well damn' Jaune thought, charging his aura throughout his body and sword as he moved into a familiar stance.
Things were about to get messy.
