Chapter 3

DP

The air in the plane felt thick with tension as all of the Halfas got ready to jump. This would not be an easy mission, but they had to do everything that they could to rescue the people held by the Brotherhood. The plan was to go invisible and intangible and fly into the base, and then assassinate all werewolves they saw. It would be cold, heartless, and something that William and Morgan couldn't be involved in. Their job was to rescue the people, while Danny and the halfa soldiers all worked to distract as many of the werewolves as they could. Even so, they had been surprised by the Brotherhood before, there was no telling what could happen. If Danny had eyes, he would have looked at all the soldiers one last time, in case any of them died, so he could honestly tell their families how brave they were.

Danny snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the pilot call out, "Five minutes to target." Danny and his family, along with the Halfa soldiers all went Ghost and turned intangible and invisible, and then phased through the plane and flew under their own power towards the Canadian base. "Red Squad, White Squad, with me," Danny said into a mic attached to his ear, "Blue Squad, hold off for five minutes when the target is in sight and then rescue the prisoners. Save as many as you can, but don't waste your own lives, every one of us is precious, we can't afford to lose any heroes." Choruses of 'Roger' went through his mic and the Halfas all separated into their squads, with Danny and Red and White Squad flying faster towards their target, silent as the grave.

They quickly saw the base and Danny said, "If the intel was correct, the wolves' barracks are to the Northeast while the prisoners are held in the Northwest of the Main Facility. White Squad, focus on the barracks, Red Squad and me will see what damage we can do to the Main Facility." The Halfa soldiers answered with more 'Rogers' and quickly divided into their squads once they were over the base and flew inside. Once Danny and his squad were in, the soldiers drew silver knives from their belts and got to work killing werewolves as soon as they saw them. They were performing some kind of ritual, a child was about to be sacrificed on an altar, but a knife to the werewolf priest's throat ended that quickly. The werewolves all quickly changed, but the halfas had the element of surprise and soon cleared the room before showing themselves. "Let's go! Follow me!" Danny yelled to the would-be sacrifices, quickly made a dozen copies to carry them out.

The Halfa soldiers quickly used their ghost rays to blast anyone they saw coming, they were deep in enemy territory, they could only assume that everyone was an enemy. They moved as fast as they could, all the while keeping the hostages safe. There was no other way to do this, if they took too long, they would all surely be slaughtered. Along the way, they made sure to blast at any room they saw, Danny especially used his ice beam to destroy the rooms and werewolves inside, freezing them so quickly they fell and shattered to pieces.

Meanwhile, Willie and Morgan were doing their part to rescue the majority of the hostages. Willie moved with the speed of lightning, using a silver knife given by the army to stab every werewolf he saw in the heart or brain before they could fight back, while Morgan used ice on the ground to make it too slippery for them to be followed as they led the hostages out of their barracks, the Halfa soldiers of Blue Squad helping them the whole time. Howls of pain filled the air as they killed every werewolf they saw, and for Willie at least it filled him with a savage joy; they had slaughtered so many innocent people and brought so much fear to humanity, it was sweet to give them a taste of their own medicine.

The Halfas all met up together and prepared to fly off once they made enough ghost copies to carry two hostages per copy, but then suddenly Danny yelled, "STOP!" The Halfas all stopped in the middle of the air and less than a second later there was a ghost shield all around the base! "It's a trap!" Danny yelled, and then they saw as seven werewolves on the ground had blood red rings form around them as they flew up into the air, stark naked and with powerful auras all around them. "Buy me time! I'll try to contact Hellsing!" Danny yelled as the werewolf halfas flew at them.

Hellsing

The Plan had gone off without a hitch at first, Alucard and Seras were providing a very loud distraction by shooting up the main barracks of the werewolves, slaughtering all in their way, while Cameron and the Hellsing soldiers shepherded the civilians together to make their way to safety. Cameron was lightning and thunder as she killed werewolves, striking hard, fast, and loudly. Her control over sound allowed her to hurt and stun the werewolves, giving the soldiers chances to kill them and keep the civilians safe, surrounded by soldiers and protected by the vampire-halfa hybrid. The civilians were quickly led out, while the vampires stayed behind to protect their rear, when all of a sudden, twenty-foot-tall blue flames surrounded the base! "What the fuck?!" Cameron yelled as she was almost burned by the supernatural fire.

Seras attempted to fly over the fire, only to be shocked by…something! "Seras!" Cameron yelled and quickly caught her before she crashed into the ground. "It's holy fire of some sort!" Alucard bellowed, "This is a trap for us. They made a barrier to keep us from leaving." Seras looked through the flames with her Third Eye, the civilians were making it, the soldiers were fighting with everything they had to keep them safe, and the werewolves outside the fiery barrier were kept at bay. "The soldiers are getting the civilians out!" she declared and swung around with her Harkonnen Cannons. She fired away at approaching werewolves, and they had to scatter to avoid her shells. Alucard and Cameron added their own gunfire, catching numerous werewolves as they struggled to avoid Seras' fire.

"I'm going to finish this!" Cameron said as her vampiric and ghostly powers flared around her and she stepped forward, and unleashed a Ghostly Wail at the werewolves, obliterating them completely with her most powerful attack and leaving a trail of destruction that reached to the other end of the barrier. Cameron stopped the Wail, and smiled, her mouth all fangs and eyes glowing with savage delight, only for an arrow to then tear into the side of her neck! A second arrow struck the back of her neck, right at the base of her skull, and Alucard caught a third that was aimed for her heart. "Seras, they're invisible, use your Third Eye to avoid the arrows!" he ordered. Seras did as she was ordered; while Alucard picked up Cameron and moved as quickly as he could to avoid the arrows. He quickly made it to some debris to use as cover and transformed into his Level One Form.

Alucard used his Third Eye to track the Archer, and sensed a powerful werewolf, one filled with ancient power like his own. "You're a quick one, Mutt!" Alucard yelled into the air. The Archer then appeared. He was a tall African man with the muscles of a warrior and a bow roughly as tall as himself, his eyes glowed pure silver and his earlobes were stretched down to his shoulders. "I have been called worse, Dracula," the Archer said as he pulled out an arrow. "You're a little behind the times I'd say," Alucard said as he pointed his guns at the Archer. The Archer smiled, his teeth all fangs as he said, "I've survived so far!" Alucard fired away, only for the Archer to unleash his arrows just as quickly as Alucard fired his bullets, his arrows slicing through Alucard's bullets!

The No Life King kept firing away, every third bullet of his deflected the silver arrows, but his attention was completely focused on the Archer, he was definitely one of their leaders. "So, Mutt, what are you? Epsilon and Delta are dead, would that make you Beta?" "Correct," the Archer, Beta, said, and then disappeared. Alucard ducked under a kick and suddenly Beta disappeared again.

"Seras! Be on guard, the second most powerful dog is here!" Alucard said aloud, while with his telepathy he told her, we need to get me through this barrier, it's stopping me from leaving the area. I'm sure that Phantom is facing a similar problem. We need to reach them I may need help against this Beta. Seras responded telepathically, I'm trying Master, but this barrier is strong. It'll take all of us to do it, and I doubt that Beta will give us a chance to work together to do it. Alucard nodded, and then turned to Cameron. She was still as the dead because of the silver arrows, and he went to her and as fast as he could yanked them out of her. The wounds were atrocious but healed almost instantly. Cameron quickly got up, just in time to avoid four more arrows.

"Keep moving, get to Seras!" Alucard said as he and Cameron flew towards Seras, who was barely keeping other werewolves at bay. Seras took two silver arrows to her stomach, but she still kept fighting, even as her stomach wounds started smoking, obliterating three werewolves that came at her with her Harkonnens. Seras stopped and screamed as she tore out the arrows along with a good amount of flesh that slowly healed. "We need to act fast," Seras said. "Use your Third Eyes," Alucard told the other vampires, "Join minds, and coordinate a strike at one point. It will only give us a few seconds, but it'll be enough for me to get out and hopefully bring one of the Phantoms here to help."

Arrows descended upon the vampires right after Alucard said this, and they all ran as fast as they could to avoid them. "Doesn't he ever run out of those things!?" Cameron screamed in exasperation. "Just keep moving towards the barrier!" Alucard ordered. He then focused his mind on Beta's arrows and lifted them off the ground and sent them flying in all directions. He heard Beta grunt and knew that he had wounded him.

NOW! Alucard telepathically yelled as he, Seras, and Cameron all formed shadowy tentacles and combined them together, striking at a single point in the barrier of holy energy. For a second there was a bright flash like a new star being formed, but then there was a hole small enough for a bullet to pass through. Alucard spotted his opportunity and quickly used his transforming power to turn into mist and pass through the hole. He barely reached the other side before the hold closed. Alucard took one look back and said, "Stay alive," before he was gone.
