"Are you guys really going?" Nazz Van Bartonschmeer asked the Eds and Rolf sadly as they were taking a special plane of Double-D's invention to their new school.
"Yes, but don't worry, we'll still make time to visit you all," Double-D reassured with a smile.
"Gotta admit, I'm gonna miss you Dorks. It'll be like a piece of the Cul-De-Sac is missing." Kevin said as he and Eddy did a secret handshake.
"Ey, you'll live without us, Kev. You've done it before."
"You two shall keep the Urban Rangers strong while Rolf is away?" Rolf asked Johnny and Jimmy, who smiled as they moved to embrace their friend.
"We'll miss ya, Rolf! Plank's already crying!" Johnny said, showing his wooden friend, who had sawdust running down his 'eyes' to simulate tears.
"ED SHALL MISS YOU, BABY SISTER!" Ed sobbed as he hugged Sarah, who couldn't even hit him over the head or push him off like she usually would because she was too busy crying herself.
"Well fellas, it's time to set sail!" Double-D said as he boarded the plane. Ed, Eddy, and Rolf all got on board as well and soon began driving off, Ed waving a handkerchief and throwing flowers to the rest of the Cul-De-Sac Kids as they chased after the plane to see their friends off.
"AZ-EASY-WHATCHAMACALLIT ACADEMY HERE WE COME!" Eddy hollered as the plane went off a ramp and took flight, sailing over Peach Creek, Lemon Brook, and then outward to where the four boys' new academic life awaited.
With the other three boys, their journey has gotten off to a shaky start.
"How many times has our flight been delayed, guys?" Ben asked as he checked his phone.
"I lost count at twenty..." Enrico groaned, head in his hands as he contemplated the sheer futility of it all. "Useless fucking flight staff..."
Chris groaned for a good couple of seconds before standing up from his seat in annoyance.
"Okay guys, we can't keep waiting for a plane that's obviously not gonna show!" Chris said, putting his foot down.
"What we need to do is take matters into our own hands!"
"What, like sneak through the airport and hijack a plane?" Ben asked curiously. Enrico coughed into his fist, feeling a dark joke coming up if they went through with that.
"No, even better!"
Chris went over to his deck of Duel Monster Cards and sorted through them before finding what he wanted and grinning as he turned to his friends.
"Where's the nearest park?"
The three boys drove over to the park and went deep into the forest connected to it. After finding an open clearing, Chris took the card he had picked and then placed it face-up on a gun-like Duel Disk.
"Come on out, Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack!"
Ben and Enrico stared in awe as a giant hybrid of an airplane and a dragon manifested into reality before letting out a loud screech. It then opened up its compartment and crouched down so that Ben, Enrico, and Chris could go inside it.
"Whoa, it's just like a regular airplane... except it's first-class!" Ben exclaimed as he looked around.
"How do you do these things, Caw?" Enrico asked. "Also, Dracossack? Really? That's a sexual name if I ever heard one."
"I have my ways, Enriks. Also, it's named after a famous plane, so shut it."
With a cry, Dracossack took flight into the sky as the boys held onto their seats and made their way through the sky. After reaching their cruising altitude, Ben looked around before taking out his Nintendo Switch.
"Care to do two players?" Chris asked as he held up a pro controller, to which Ben smiled and unhooked the Joy-Cons so that he could play like him.
"You two have fun now, meanwhile I will be doing some screen shopping," Enrico said as he pulled out his phone before muttering under his breath. "Although I wish I got to play."
Chris picked up on that and put his hand on Enrico's shoulder. "Enriks, there will be plenty of other chances for you to join in on the fun, and I promise that you WILL get those chances."
A small smile appeared on Enrico's face when he heard that. "Thanks, Caw, I really appreciate it."
"Man, this is the life!" Eddy said as he was leaning back in the plane. Double-D was busy piloting it while Rolf was looking over to see how high up in the sky they were. As for Ed, he was sticking his head out and letting his tongue hang freely like a dog. Somehow, physics had fucked off as Ed should have been torn to shreds from the sheer force of the winds but somehow he is completely fine.
"Rolf truly admires such a majestic view. You have outdone yourself, Edd-Boy!" Rolf said with a smile as Double-D chuckled bashfully.
"Well, considering how poorly the last aircraft I made went, I took the time to look over where I went wrong and improve."
"Good, so no lightening the load this time. Wouldn't want to throw anybody off when we're this high up." Eddy said as he looked down at how high up the plane was to make sure.
"What smells like hot dogs?" Ed asked as he sniffed the air, smiling as he tried to keep his nose on the scent.
"Hot dogs? Where on Earth do you smell-?" Double-D began to ask only to smell it at well and go pale in the face.
"Uh, Sockhead, I don't like that look on your face..." Eddy said worriedly.
Rolf nodded. "It looks just like the face Papa made when Mama came home to find he had used her prized beets for stew!"
"Gentlemen... I fear I seem to have miscalculated the fuel line needed to power this plane..." Double-D said as he showed a meter that was in the red zone. "Because right now, it's shot!"
"Shot?! So, you mean we're gonna fall to our deaths kinda Shot?!" Eddy asked in growing horror as Double-D gulped in agreement.
"I say we have about... five minutes of airtime left before we start plummeting."
"Did anyone pack any parachutes?!" Eddy asked as Ed opened the trunk of the plane and took out several bags, only for them to open up and drop out cheese doodles, candies, and other stuff.
"What the heck?!"
Ed looked at the note on one of the bags and read it. "Inspected by Number Twenty-Nine."
Eddy turned flatly to the viewers and pointed dangerously.
"Number Twenty-Nine? You're in a lot of trouble."
"Let's see... okay this one looks good," Enrico said as he was looking for new Gundam models, specifically the HGUC 1/144 AMS-123X-X Moon Gundam, to purchase through his phone while Ben and Chris were playing a passionate game of Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Ben playing as King K. Rool and Chris playing as Joker.
"Haha!" Ben cheered as he used a Down Aerial to spike Chris, winning the match.
"How did you get so good at K. Rool, dude?!"
"Years of practice, Caw."
Chris could only smirk in admiration at that. "You know, I have this other friend of mine named Josh who mains K. Rool, I feel like you two might hit it off if and when you one day meet."
Suddenly, Dracossack let out a roar to get its passenger's attention. Chris moved to the control console and saw a blip on the radar.
"We've got a nearby flying object. Looks like a plane." Chris pulled out a telescope from... somewhere and looked through it to see a smoking plane, four panicking boys on board.
"Looks like those guys could use some help," Chris said as he put away the telescope. "Dracossack, retrieve that plane!"
Dracossack roared in affirmation as it flew in toward the plane.
"I'll get the gear," Enrico said, rifling through his pack for whatever he could find to help whoever was on that smoking plane.
"Jesus Christ, what kind of nutjob designs a plane that shoddy?" He thought as he observed the flying wreck.
"FELLAS, THIS IS IT! THIS IS THE END! MY WHOLE LIFE IS FLASHING BEFORE MY EYES AND I'M NOT EVEN IN IT!" Double-D cried as he was on the verge of hyperventilating.
"It was a true honor knowing you, Nincompoop Ed-Boys," Rolf said as he put a hand on Ed and Eddy's shoulders.
"It was nice knowing ya too, Stretch!" Eddy sniffed as a curious shadow loomed over the plane and the four boys looked up to see what appeared to be a fusion of a dragon and an airplane flying in.
"Dragon!" Ed exclaimed while Double-D looked ready to faint right then and there.
"Have no fear, we're here to help!" Came a young man's voice from the dragon-plane fusion and the mouth of the beast opened up, safely catching the plane inside and bringing them into what appeared to be a first-class plane line where three boys were sitting.
"Are you guys okay?" One of the boys asked as the Eds and Rolf got off their plane, which was still smoking as another of the boys donned the clothes of a Firefighter and sprayed the plane down with a fire extinguisher.
"Alright, this flaming wreck..." The third of the boys said as he looked over the plane as it was being hosed down. "Who made it?"
"U-Um, I did, sir..." Double-D nervously spoke.
"Well, I gotta say, this is some decent work. Shame it went up in flames, though. Did you make this all by yourself?"
"Yes, well, the original model had help from my friends here and..."
"Hey, look guys!" Ed said as he was peering out one of the windows. The boys all collectively looked out the other windows to see what Ed was watching and saw a massive academy with a widespread campus. A large and prosperous castle was nearby as well as a quaint little city and suburban area connected to it.
"We made it, boys! I can't believe it, we made it!" Eddy laughed. "Man, this has to be the luckiest day of my life!"
As Dracossack flew down on the outskirts of the city limits in order to avoid being spotted by anybody who might get suspicious, the boys all introduced themselves to each other properly.
"I can't believe you made this from a card!" Eddy said as he looked around the interior of the mecha dragon in awe.
"You'd be surprised at just how magical Duel Monsters can be." Chris chuckled as the boys all disembarked, Dracossack disappearing back into its card, which Chris took and pocketed.
"Well, we're not gonna get enlisted at school just standing around. Follow me, guys," Enrico said as he led the group of seven boys as they made their way into the city.
Devil Dragon Stand Knight A/N:
Alright, the boys of both sides have met and now it's time for them to enroll as new students! Who will they meet? What adventures will be had? Find out next time!
Caw-zrs6 A/N:
I honestly don't know what to put here if I'm being honest, although I will say one thing. Could you imagine if we had the tech to make duel monsters like Dracossack come to life? That would make traveling around the world (amongst other things) SO much easier to do. Anyways, enough out of me, I now pass the mic over to Enrico. Go ahead, Enriks.
Enriks-Da-Writer's A/N:
Not much to add on here either because the last time I did that, most of the edits I did make were gone. Probably because they didn't align or whatever.
