Momo, Ochaco, and Izuku walked out of the mall in closer proximity to each other than they had entered and in a state of shock and distress.
Momo, after coming to her senses, felt horribly ashamed at her state. She had created a dozen towels for everyone to use and had made a change of clothes for everyone. She hadn't realized just how absolutely drenched she was… it was all in her hair! She wasn't even sure she got it all. What had come over her?
Ochaco meanwhile had her heart beating fast, she had awakened something inside her that she wasn't sure how to feel about. She was sure now that her feelings for Deku were deeper and not as innocent as she had initially assumed. But besides that, she was hyper aware of just how intrigued she was at Momo's body. How seeing her so submissive to a man that Ochaco desired turned her on. It was just… She had a hard time remembering that they all had been blackmailed into the situation. She had kissed Izuku of her own accord, stripped of her own accord as well. At first it had just been to help Momo, but now she realized that she had, without any prodding, shown Deku her breasts and had gotten so into it she had actually had an orgasm because of it!
As for Izuku, he was coming to terms with a lot of different emotions. He had been so full of anger and frustration at Brain-Jacker, he hadn't really been thinking of Momo and Ochaco. But with this latest event, he couldn't help but remember the first encounter. He couldn't help but remember his true frustration at that time.
That it hadn't been real.
And while there was the possibility that this was all an elaborate ruse (Brain-Jacker was a superb actor after all) Izuku felt that this was what he had secretly wanted for a while now. The sex he'd had with them when he lost his virginity had been amazing. He knew that and he hated it. He had hated himself for enjoying it. But this… well, they had said that they were happy it was him, Ochaco had said she liked him! Really really liked him! This… was real. It had really been Momo and Ochaco doing those unseemly things. And he had really liked it.
And then he was reminded of Mina. Though the circumstances were not what he would have liked, she had actually agreed to go on a date with him. Him, of all people. He was so confused and excited, and angry, and hopeful… he didn't know what to feel. He was coming to the terms that he loved sex, that he cared about Ochaco and Momo. But he hated this situation, hated seeing them hurt. Hated seeing his other friends like Mina being roped into something that played at the heart so much.
He gripped his hands tightly, solidifying a plan to take Brain-Jacker down.
He would practice writing notes without looking at his paper until his writing was legible under those circumstances. If his studies suffered, so be it. He would leave his notes behind for Mr. Aizawa to find, and hopefully inform the staff and recruit Shinso. They would be able to round up Izuku, Momo, and Ochaco all at once. And, hopefully, this would happen quickly. Because Izuku was certain that if he took too long, Brain-Jacker would only add to her list of victims.
Rumi Usagiyama, better known as the pro-hero Mirko, was lounging in her desk chair in some comfy pajamas and her oh so adorable and predictable bunny slippers. She had been busy the last few days tracking down just who had been smuggled into Japan. And while she had reduced the possibilities to certain American groups, that didn't help too terribly much. However, as for that, she was letting the police handle the investigation. She knew she was more of a fighter than a detective, and wasn't ashamed to let others deal with her weak points.
Besides, she liked fighting better anyway.
However, with the slowdown in the investigation there came time to do a different kind of research. Namely, who the hell was Izuku Midoriya? Obviously, someone special enough that All Might was vouching for him. Though Rumi did concede to herself that All Might was the type to vouch for someone even if they weren't special. Still, she was sure she'd heard the name before.
A quick search online proved her right.
"The UA sports festival… right. I didn't watch it, but I heard about some of the matches from Mt. Lady. Let's see… he got to the semifinals. Not bad, I guess. Didn't win though, that was some kid named Katsuki Bakugo."
Rumi wasn't exactly blown away by her research on the kid. Even found a picture of him and he seemed rather average. Still, there had to be something there. Something that caught All Might's attention at least.
She found a video of his semifinal fight soon enough, and in a matter of seconds, her opinions began to change. In a matter of minutes, a smile broke out on her face so wide it actually hurt her cheeks.
"Holy shit! This kid! This kid is amazing!"
She was of course, impressed by the tournament's second place champion, but she immediately knew that this was the one and only reason Midoriya hadn't taken third. Having to deal with this powerful kid early on. UA was definitely full of talent this year. But while it was somewhat expected that Endeavor's son would be a walking powerhouse (after all, the kid was bred for power like a thoroughbred horse) this Midoriya kid came out of nowhere. She had seen the other videos leading up to this fight, and he hadn't used his quirk at all until the semifinals as far she could tell. That alone was amazing. But the sheer power on display! And was he breaking his bones just to use it?! What kind of crazy quirk was that?!
The bloody and broken purple fingers and shattered arms seemed markers of his absolute tenacity, his drive to win, and it caused a wellspring of admiration in the pro hero. This was someone who knew the value of fighting to their last breath! Someone who knew about the value of fighting even when it hurt! Even when you were beaten and bloody! She was actually giddy with excitement, her foot tapping on the ground much like a rabbit as she poured through more and more footage of the boy.
Izuku Midoriya… she didn't like teams. Not in the least. But she found herself getting quite excited at the prospect of taking this boy under her wing. He had the potential to be a great hero.
"As cool as it is to see him break those fingers just for a chance at victory… That's going to have to be the first thing we work on. Unless that is his quirk… bone-breaker or something. Jeez, wouldn't that suck."
She did her best to look for more information through a simple web search, but nothing else really popped up. She placed a finger on her chin as she thought about accessing the governmental quirk registry. As a Pro Hero she had access to it. Maybe it would have more information on his quirk? She decided it couldn't hurt, and quickly began searching for him.
What she found was rather interesting. Apparently, he was a late bloomer. Really late. He hadn't even realized he had a quirk until he was 14, a good 10 years after most others. And to her relief, his quirk was not 'bone-breaker' but something simply called 'super-power'. The description was so brief that Rumi wondered if it was even properly analyzed. It just described his quirk as "general enhancement of the body". That was so understated that Rumi suspected something was being hidden.
Before she could find out anymore, she heard her cellphone ring. Her special one.
She answered it without delay.
"Hello?"
"Hey, sorry to call so late. Something's come up, and I wanted to let you kn-"
"You know its rude not to introduce yourself on the phone All Might."
"Oh. Sorry about that. This is All-"
"I know who it is now. I just meant for next time."
"Oh, right. Listen, something's come up and young Midoriya will have to meet you at a later time."
Rumi furrowed her brows and sat up, not liking the sound of that.
"What!? Oh, come on! I just looked the kid up! He's amazing! I actually got excited! What came up huh? What's so important that he can blow off one of the top 10 heroes of Japan?"
There was silence on the other end of the line for a few moments.
"… actually, I have a change of plans. Could you come to UA tomorrow?"
Her anger switched to bafflement.
"Huh? Why? Its Saturday, right? No classes or anything."
"Yes. I need to speak to you in person. I need to tell you something, but not over the phone. Its sensitive information. I think you might be able to help me with something."
"Is this something related to Midoriya?"
"Yes, it is."
"Yeah, I'll come by. Why? What's up, the kid in trouble or something? UA has a had a string of bad luck this year with that sort of thing."
"I can't give details out over the phone, but yes. And I think you might be able to help."
"I'm not one for a bunch of sneaking around you know. So, I hope this involves kicking some ass."
"… I'll see you tomorrow, Mirko."
"Yeah, yeah. I'll see you tomorrow."
She hung up with a heavy sigh, wondering just what the former number 1 hero wanted help with. Heck, she wondered just what kind of trouble the Midoriya kid had gotten himself into. She figured it was probably pretty serious if All Might was asking her for help. With a lazy swish of her eyes, she returned to the computer screen.
She might as well watch a few more videos before bed.
"So, who's following him today?"
"I believe Ms. Kayama is trailing him today."
"Is she really the best candidate for that?"
All Might sat opposite Principal Nezu in the meeting room, Aizawa, Vlad King, Present Mic, Ectoplasm, and Power Loader all present as well. The topic of today's discussion was one Izuku Midoriya, and the coded message he had left All Might last night.
Vlad King gave a deep sigh as he interjected.
"Look, are we sure that he's in the kind of trouble that All Might is saying? Or any trouble at all for that matter? Our security has increased ten-fold this year and we haven't seen hide or hair of anyone who shouldn't be here."
Aizawa answered him with deathly seriousness.
"If All Might thinks Midoriya is talking to him in code, then he is. Of all the students and teachers, those two have the closest relationship. All Might is world famous for his strength, but he's also one of the most intelligent heroes I've ever met. I don't think he's mistaken."
Principal Nezu, still smiling and at ease despite the circumstances, took a sip of his tea as he agreed with Aizawa.
"I agree with Mr. Aizawa. That's why, when All Might approached me with this information last night, I instructed Power Loader to install cameras in every place he could think of here at UA. If there is someone blackmailing or spying on Midoriya, we need to be able to find out who it is."
Vlad King stood up, a scowl on his face as he slammed both fists on the table.
"But that's a huge breach of privacy! Especially considering All Might himself thinks its being done with a quirk!"
"Well," Toshinori scratched his neck, "it might be through more mundane means. At this point we don't know. My instincts tell me its some kind of quirk, but it could be as simple as someone having compromising material on Midoriya and spying software on his phone. Though if that is the case, the cameras won't be much help. But that's another thing, I agree with Vlad King that there's no way someone got through our security without us knowing."
Suddenly, Aizawa remembered something Izuku had said when had returned from his villain round-up outing. However, before he could speak up, there was a blare as the upgraded security system alerted them of someone at the front gate. A screen descended from the ceiling, projecting none other than Mirko, the rabbit hero, tapping her foot impatiently at the front gate of their school.
Though all were surprised, Present Mic was the one to voice it.
"YO! WHAT'S THE RABBIT HERO DOING HERE?"
"I invited her."
All eyes were on All Might for an explanation.
"She's young Midoriya's mentor for this latest work study. She was going to meet him today, but I thought it best we explain the situation to her today instead."
Aizawa raised an eyebrow. How did he get Mirko as his mentor? He sighed, knowing it was All Might playing favorites again. He decided not to mention it, though. Especially considering he was training his own favorite student…
The meeting between the teachers of UA was on pause for a moment as Mirko made her way to their meeting room, escorted by Lunch Rush.
When she entered, she seemed a little surprised at the gathering of Pro-Hero teachers.
"Uh. Hi everyone. I was supposed to talk to All Might?"
"Mirko, I'm glad you could make it. Please take a seat. We've just been discussing what to do concerning young Midoriya."
"Concerning him? What's wrong with him? Breaking more bones?" she said with a wry smile.
Aizawa let out a little snort, his version of a laugh.
All Might let out a bit of a groan.
"Not… quite."
With a heavy sigh, Toshinori spoke of his conversation with Midoriya, and how he had become aware of his young student's dilemma. Mirko was skeptical at first, thinking All Might could just be reading into things. However, with the other teacher's vouching for Midoriya's keen recall of hero trivia, and how for him to make any kind of mistake like that was very out of character, Mirko conceded the point. She soon found that they had come to the conclusion that the boy was being observed by some malevolent force and possibly blackmailed to do something.
Just what he was being forced to do, and who was watching him were the questions of the day.
"Alright, so, what's the plan?" Mirko asked, curious as to what the teachers wanted to do.
Principal Nezu cleared his throat.
"Constant monitoring of Midoriya and the 1-A students. We've already installed cameras and microphones in most places students tend to congregate in. We've installed them not just on the grounds and in the building, but also in the dorms, just in case. However, our students aren't always on campus. In fact, most of them are off campus at this very moment. Which has allowed Power Loader to work so quickly today.
"As of now, Midnight is monitoring Midoriya. But we hope to alternate between the teachers here to keep whoever is stalking Midoriya from noticing. But if you are going to be his mentor… that gives you the perfect excuse to keep a close eye on him at all times!"
Mirko nodded along, "Alright. Sounds simple enough. Where's the kid right now?"
"He's on a date at the mall." Replied Ectoplasm.
Suddenly, she stood up and stretched her arms above her head.
"Welp, gonna go meet up with him then. See if I can't find out what's going on."
She turned to leave before any of the teachers could stop her. As many of them seemed to be quite against her leaving. However, Aizawa's capture cloth wrapped around her wrist before she could leave. She nearly pulled at it just to punch him in the face. But she decided that would be a bit hasty. Instead she just glared at him, and ripped it off her wrist without even trying.
"Hold it. There's something I need to say first."
"Alright, spit it out bedhead, what do you want to say."
Aizawa didn't react to the new nickname. But he did reveal to all present a very important piece of the puzzle.
"A few days ago, Midoriya, Iida, Uraraka, and Yaoyorozu encountered a shapeshifting villain. Someone who was responsible for various sexual assaults and instances of indecent exposure. At the time, it was unknown what kind of quirk the perpetrator had. Midoriya, Uraraka, and Yaoyorozu met the villain and chased her off… supposedly. Iida never encountered her. Later, when Midoriya was separated from Yaoyorozu and Uraraka, he confided to me that the shapeshifter had turned into a naked Uraraka when he was battling her."
The room was silent for a few moments, before a cacophony of noise erupted.
The other teachers were none too happy about this sudden news. The implications of this new information had each teacher feel a horrible pit in their stomachs as they each considered what this new information meant. As for Aizawa, he realized only now that Midoriya had actually tried to reach him first, to warn him of what was going on. He felt bad about not understanding. But at the time he thought Midoriya was just trying to work through seeing a naked girl for the first time. Harrowing, to be sure, especially when it was wearing the face of a good friend. But he hadn't read further into it.
Ectoplasm was the first to voice the implications in a coherent matter.
"So now we have a shapeshifting quirk user with a penchant for sexual degeneracy, right? Probably in our school impersonating one of our students! If that's the case, we're dealing with not just blackmail and stalking, but molestation and possibly a kidnapping! This is a disaster! Worse than the USJ attack!"
"HEY NOW! Let's not jump to conclusions!" Present Mic interjected. "This seems bad, but there's nothing to connect the two incidents! Not yet anyway! I say we keep a close eye on all four of those students for any irregular activity!"
Principal Nezu quieted the room with a well placed "ahem."
"I agree that this looks bad. But we must not be hasty. Midoriya may be in danger and if we act foolishly, there could be dire consequences. I believe Present Mic was correct. We must pay special attention to those four. I'll create a schedule for all available teachers to shadow them until we get to the bottom of this."
He then turned his attention to Mirko, who was now feeling like this had gone from 'interesting intrigue' to 'deathly serious' in just a few moments. She had just gotten invested in this kid, and now it seemed like he was in serious danger.
"Miss Mirko, we're very sorry for this turn of events. The world has become much worse with All Might's retirement… no matter how hard we work to fix it. This is the latest in a series of disasters. And while I am proud of our students and staff for rising to the challenge time and time again… it doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon. I would like to formally ask you, on behalf of UA, to help us with this matter."
"Yeah, sure. No problem."
Her quick acceptance, and seeming nonchalance at the very serious situation caused most of the teachers to become rather confused. Principal Nezu however, didn't seem too surprised.
"Excellent. In that case, please act as if nothing is out of the ordinary. We'll send Midoriya to you sometime this week. If you could not only keep an eye on him, but also gain access to his phone, that would be most helpful."
She narrowed her eyes, and put up a single finger.
"I'm going to go meet him right now. I'll get his phone, sure. And I'm all for helping you guys. But I'm doing this my way. I'm working alongside you, not for you or with you, got it? When people are in trouble it's a Hero's job to save them. And that's what I'm going to do. I'm not going to be waiting for your permission."
Before anyone could stop her a second time, she left, not waiting to hear anymore from them. All Might felt a bit flustered at the whole situation. He knew the situation had been serious from the start, but he had assumed the League of Villains was somehow behind it. With Aizawa's new information, he had a new set of fears. Villainy came in many forms, all of them immoral.
But the truth was that not all crimes were equal, not all villains equally heinous. And he was not prepared to hear that his precious student might be suffering molestation… that they may have suffered it already. He felt anger, shame at not stopping it sooner. Perhaps Mirko had the right of it. Maybe they needed to act now, and not wait around…
"Well then. I suppose that's the best we can ask for." Nezu said with a sigh. "However, I must ask the rest of you to act more cautiously. We don't know the situation, and its possible that we may only cause things to get worse."
All Might almost argued against it. But as he ran his hand along the scar at his abdomen, he knew the dangers of rushing into things. He was very keen on the possible consequences. He only hoped Mirko wasn't reckless in her rush to help.
