I don't own Harry Potter or Jurassic world/park as they belong to J.K Rowling and Universal and I have to say big thanks for The Broken Mask for helping for the editing.

It had been a very warm August day in the United Kingdom, some people still enjoying the comfort of their homes with their back doors open, trying to get the cooler air in to cool down theIr houses. In particular, there was one home in Privent Drive.m, home to the Dursley family and another little boy, but this home had raised voices that could be heard down the road.

Vernon Dursley had enough of his freak of a nephew, Harry, seeing that he had managed to knock over and break a very expensive vase while bringing him, his wife, and son a tray of tea. The boy, seven years old, wearing hand-me-down clothes and alarmingly underweight, had black hair that was always messy and unkemp and bright green eyes like emerald, and those eyes were full of fear as his family berated him.

"That is it, you bloody freak!, I have had enough of your freakiness!" Vernon spat, his face turning purple." we took you in and this is how you repay us! You are nothing but a waste of space! Get out! Stay outside! If you stay out of my sight, I might let you back in tomorrow!"

"You remind me of my freak of a sister and her no-good husband more and more every day." Petunia said hatefully and full of bitterness.

Harry often wonder what his actual parents were like, but he only knew there names, James and Lily Potter, and he thought about them once again as he walked outside, followed by the sound of more shouting from his family, however, no sooner had Harry stepped of his uncles property than be became aware that there was someone else here.

"Harry?" Asked the nice and calm voice of the woman who lived a few houses down from him, she often look after him when the Dursleys went on trips, which Harry of course didn't go on.

"Mrs Figg? Harry responded, surprised to see her.

"Why are you out here, lad? Mrs Figg asked, one of her many cats rubbing against her ankles and staring at Harry with unblinking yellow eyes.

"T-They k-k-kicked me out." Harry said, finally breaking down and crying." I-I-I don't know w-what to do..."

"Don't worry about them, Harry dear." Mrs Figg said, putting her arm around Harry's shoulder and taking him to her home."Come and stay with me I'll make you some food while you have a wash and change into some clothes. I need to call someone."

"Why are you helping me?" Harry asked, tears still going down his cheeks." T-They told everyone that I was a freak and am I good at all."

" I don't believe them and neither should you." Mrs. Figg said, taking Harry inside and taking him to her bathroom" once I contact my friend... everything will be alright, I promise."

Leaving Harry to clean himself up with a smile, Mrs. Figg went downstairs and to her fireplace. Opening a small and ordinary-looking package, she poured some green powder into her hand and threw it into the fire.

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Headmaster Office," Mrs. Figg said to her fireplace and the face of a very age man formed in the flames.

"What may be the problem m, my dear old friend? The face in the fire asked, surprised to be called late in the evening.

" I am sorry to interrupt you, Headmaster Dumbledore, but we have a problem with Harry Potter." Mrs Figg said grimy but calmly." The Dursleys have thrown him out of their home with nothing but the clothes he was wearing, covered in tea."

"I see." Dumbledore said, his voice deep in concern." Is the boy with you, Arabella?"

"He is, he is upstairs getting washed." Mrs. Figg replied. "He is completely unkempt and very underweight. The abuse from the Dursleys only seems to be getting worse by the day, I could hear them shouting inside their home from my own house."

"I should have kept a closer watch on them." Dumbledore sighed heavily. "Allow me to come through Arabelle, let me see the boy. I will do what I can in my power to make sure that he gets a better home until we can look after him more closely when he comes to Hogwarts."

Mrs Figg stepped back to allow Dumbledore to enter her house, but she turned when she heard a small gasp from behind her as he did so. Harry had heard her conversation and was watching Dumbledore step through the fire and into the house, like Father Christmas.

"Harry, I didn't see you there." Mrs Figg said. "This is my friend, Albus Dumbledore. He was also a friend of your parents."

"My dear boy, you have grown into a lovely child since I saw you last." Dumbledore said, kneeling before Harry. "It is my fault that you were placed with the Dursleys and I will do everything I can to make up for it. Your mother has a cousin who I plan to contact, who works very far away from here, and in the meantime you will stay with Mrs Figg. I will arrange to take you to him as soon as I am able."

"Where does he live?" Harry asked, unable to imagine a world beyond London. "What does he do?"

"He lives and works on an island called Isla Nublar, near Costa Rica." Dumbledore explained. "He works with some very special and very rare animals, but I know you will like it. Perhaps you will even be able to make some friends. Here, these will explain some more about the animals he takes care of."

From under his robe, Dumbledore produced some books for children about dinosaurs and one about Isla Nublar and handed them to Harry, the boy looking at them with some confusion. However, Dumbledore straightened up and looked to Mrs Figg.

"I should go back to the school now and contact Henry Wu." Dumbledore said. "If all is well, I will bring the rest of The Order with me to take Harry to The Park in a few days. They are keen to see you too, Harry. They are all friends of your parents as well."

With one last smile to the young boy, Dumbledore used the green powder and the fire in the fireplace to go back to his office, the fire soon burning normally again, as if nothing had happened.

"Why don't you start reading some of those books while I make us some dinner?" Mrs Figg said, in a tone that said that this wasn't actually a suggestion. "And then you can stay in my spare room for now. I'll look after you, Harry."

After dinner, Mrs Figg helped Harry up to her spare room and read one of the books as a bedtime story, the book about Isla Nublar and the park of ancient and very special animals that Harry's new cousin worked with.
