Issue no.3

Welcome one and all to our 3rd issue to 'The Elf Express'.

We would like to give a big thank you to all have sent us messages in our communications box even if some of those were hexed and spelled we do have ways of finding those who want to harm us so take this as a warning we won't be nice next time compliments and complaints are all welcome but remember don't say anything you wouldn't take yourself we are all entitled to our own opinions.

Now that is all said and done there was quite a few questions regarding myself and Oliver so we have agreed to answer some on we will not however tell you who we are our give you clues to who we are either.

· Q1: Do we both go to Hogwarts? Yes we both do.

· Q2: Were do we get our information? We can't give away all our sources BUT we can say we have contacts outside of Hogwarts.

· Q3: Are we for or against Dark Magic? Now most would never admit to answering a question like this but we both feel the same and that we are neither wether you use light or dark Magic Magic is still Magic it is your intent that make it light or dark. A light spell can cause just as mush damage and destruction as a dark spell and a dark spell can heal and save a life just as much as a light spell, just food for thought.

· Q4:Who can we turn too if the faculty won't help if we are abused at home? We feel we had to make this question public to you all y as there are more than one person in this school that suffers from abuse at home or even in this school BUT we have found believe it or not our very own Potions Master and Head of Slytherin House will help you or we can act as a go between for you if you feel you can not aproch him personally. That dies not mean you can all start asking him personal questions and hounding him. Dispint his demeanor he does alot for this school everyone of us some more than other have taken a trip to the hospital Wing who do you think spend their summer and what little time they have during the school year brewing potions and slaves for us hummmm? Professor Snape does as the youngest person to get their Masters in Potions we are very lucky to have him.

Now onto further business we are 3 weeks into the school year and most of us have settled in to a routine of sorts what we bring to the table in this issue is the teaching of Professor Moody we have all had a class with him and those 4th year and above have had it a lot harder it is one thing to verbally abuse a person but to show the unforgivable to students who have a negative history with them is unforgivable in its self a lot of witches and wizards died to the killing curse and many have been assaulted by this curse any many not lived to tell the tale.

Now students of Hogwarts do you believe that this is appropriate teaching not only actively showing students who are well under age but actually using an unforgivable on students themselves yes there is a slight benefit to knowing how it would feel to be under the imperious curse but to do it multiple times not so much especially on the younger students.

Has anyone actually tell their parents or guardians what actually happens here at Hogwarts? Don't you think that once again your safety is getting unnecessary at risk again due to negligence of the staff or better yet the Headmaster as he is the one who hired him.

RavenMaiden and I have heard the whispering in the corridors and in the common rooms about the abuse on students as well and the upcoming Triwizard Tournament with the congregation of the other schools arriving on the 29th we would like to offer the idea that we show these other 2 schools who we are as a whole with out house rivalry we work together as a whole to show case just a small fraction of our talents.

For those that are contemplating about entering this competition stay strong stay vigilant and although the Headmaster is certifiable on most days he is correct in that help will always be given here at Hogwarts you only need to ask.

In other news it has been forwarded on to us to mention that this years anual Gobstone competition dates have been set for the 6th and 7th of November and that there have been whispers for a school wide chess competition for all you chess nuts out there may the odds be ever in your favour.
