Harry and Elena sat there in silence, sipping their drinks quietly. The topic had turned the air morose, and Harry frowned. It was a tough thing, one that he had intimately become familiar with during the course of their political endeavors.

Another big part of this pureblood traditionalism, one which he believed should be eradicated root and stem, and the one he had to fight the hardest for. Squibs were a sore topic for every wizarding household; treated shamefully by their own families.

It was no wonder so many of them chose to live in the muggle world instead, keeping little to no contact with their wizarding families.

'Not for long,' he thought as he looked at her sadly.

However, that was something to be deliberated on at a later date. Right now, his priority was Elena.

'But what can I even say?'

Finally, after a long bout of silence, Harry broke it.

"I'm sorry,"

Elena looked at him, her face turned away before she gave him a small smile.

"It's not your fault, and you didn't know either,"

Harry gave her a small smile back and gently squeezed her hand. Elena nodded with a smile and mouthed 'I'm okay' before Harry let go. She brought her glass to her mouth, sipping slowly.

Harry grew a mischievous grin on his face, "It makes sense though," Elena looked at him through her eyelashes, sipping away.

"I mean, you clearly look the same age as me, and I'd have certainly remembered such a beautiful girl from Hogwarts,"

Elena couldn't control herself. She snorted. However, it led to certain unfortunate results. She had been sipping her drink and inadvertently snorted on it. Harry failed to repress the laugh that tore its way out of his mouth when he saw her blow the drink all over the countertop and the floor, her lower mouth splashed with green liquid.

He quickly shut up when faced with her mock glare, raising his hand in surrender, and gently took her glass from her. Placing her glass right next to his on the reflective counter, he turned back around.

Elena was slowly wiping her face with her handkerchief before Harry stopped her.

"Let me," and with a wave of his wand, he vanished the dripping liquid away from her face, the counter, her stool, and the floor. Nodding, he helped her back on her stool before taking a seat himself.

"That was bad, really bad," Elena deadpanned, and Harry snorted again.

"Maybe, not wrong though," he smiled, and Elena blushed slightly.

A few moments later, she remarked, "You're pretty good at this, y'know,"

"Good at what?" Harry was smiling, happy that he'd managed to get her out of her melancholy trance.

"This flirting thing, I never managed to get the hang of it."

"Well... I simply go with the flow..."

"I can see that... still, from what I've heard about you over the years, I'm surprised..."

Harry frowned.

"Please tell me you're not talking about the trash that the Prophet has written about me over the years?"

Elena held her hands up.

"Guilty as charged. But I didn't have any other source, so you can't blame me for it, right?"

Harry nodded.

"I guess I can't hold that over you," he sighed.

Elena smiled.

"But..." Harry looked at her, and she sipped her drink.

"They've gotten quite complimentary of you since, you know..."

"Since the war, yeah... I guess they don't want to lose subscribers... Slandering me at this time won't be in their best interests..." Harry remarked and continued to sip his drink.

"I can see that happening..." she muttered.

"So..." Harry began, "you've lived in the non-magical world your whole life then?"

"Mm-hmm. Mother knew a squib from her days in St. Mungos, and her family took care of me."

Harry nodded.

"Grew up happy, loved them too... I've no regrets not having magic, y'know?"

Harry smiled gently, holding her hand as she expressed herself.

"I've got a decent job, I'm close to my family too... it's just..." she choked slightly, and Harry held her hand between his.

"I sometimes wonder just what it would've felt to have experienced the wonders of magic... I've read up on various spells you're taught at Hogwarts too... it's wishful thinking, but I can't help it, y'know" she smiled gently. Harry gave her a solemn smile in return, softly stroking her hand between his.

"I understand..."

"Hmm?"

"My mother's sister... she's a squib too."

"Really?"

"Yeah... it's just... she didn't take being the non-magical child too well..."

"Yeah, there are people like that," Elena muttered. Slowly she looked down at her hand, and Harry followed her gaze. His fingers were stroking her hand softly, and he found he didn't want to let go so soon. Looking up at Elena, he saw she didn't want him to either. Cheeks slightly red, unnoticeable in the purple lighting of the club, they smiled.

They sat there for quite a while, talking about various things, and it was fair to say the two had gotten reasonably comfortable around each other. Harry had taken down the muffling charm around them a few minutes ago, and they easily sat there talking about things, mostly nonsensical.

Suddenly, a different tune came blaring from the band and Elena perked up. She started to flex her toes and drum her fingers in tune with the band. Harry saw this and smiled.

Elena looked at him when she heard the sound of a barstool sliding. Her eyebrows furrowed when she saw him holding his palm out toward her, his eyebrows raised and a gentle smile etched on his face.

"So, wanna dance?"

Elena jumped up and grabbed his hand, and Harry felt himself being dragged to the dance floor. As his eyes looked back at where Lavender stood, he saw her giving him a smirk and a thumbs up. Harry shook his head and smiled. He had a feeling this thing with Elena would not go that way, and he found he didn't have any issue either.

They reached the dance floor amidst a small crowd. The floor was just above halfway full, and it left more than enough space for everyone to dance comfortably. As they took up their spot on the dance floor, a few people turned their heads to look at them. Their eyes widened when they saw him, and they gave him small nods and went back to dancing.

"Don't intimidate them already," Elena laughed and Harry looked down at her with a smile.

"Me? Intimidating?" Harry scoffed and Elena chuckled.

"Oh no. You're just a big baby, aren't you?"

"Is that so?" Suddenly, Harry grabbed her by her waist, his hands holding her on either side, and he pulled her close. Elena's eyes widened at the gesture and her hands came up to rest on his chest. Slowly, Harry took the lead and they started swaying to the gentle tones of the music.

Elena felt her breathing quicken. She could feel him holding her waist firmly, their bodies pressed close, and she closed her eyes. Harry felt her bring her arms around his neck and press her body close to his. He could feel her soft tits press up against his chest and he forcefully shoved that thought out of his mind. It felt wrong to think of her as another sexual conquest. He released a breath he didn't know he was holding and wrapped his arms around her, holding her close and embracing her. His hands rested on the small of her back, and he felt her forehead resting lightly on his chest.

The music had changed now, devolving into another soft and slow tune, and their bodies kept swaying slowly, held together in an intimate embrace.

Elena felt like she was floating. His overpowering scent was sending shivers down her spine. Never had she thought that she could ever feel this way. They had met just shy of two hours ago, and she felt so close to him already. The way he was holding her, close and intimate, with just a hint of protectiveness, sent a spark of euphoria through her.

She had never felt this way before. The feeling of being so intimately close to someone of the opposite sex was something entirely new to her. One thing was evident though; she was loving how this felt. Her hold on Harry tightened and she released a small gasp when she felt her soft breasts pressing up hard against his chest.

'He can feel my...' Elena flushed at the thought. He was embracing her gently, never tightening his hold on her, and she could loosen up a bit if she wanted to. She did, but barely. Her breasts still stayed pushed up against his hard chest, with their faces staying hidden from each other. Their arms held one another, their bodies locked closely in an embrace right there in front of everyone, and they kept swaying softly with the music.

"You're stiff, Elena. Relax. It's okay," Harry whispered in her ear, and Elena shivered at the sensation. It felt as if a cold wave had rushed through her. She felt him palm her cheek and she looked up. His emerald eyes were twinkling softly, his face adorned with a gentle smile before he whispered "Relax," one more time. She nodded slightly.

"Take a deep breath and slowly let it out."

Elena did so, all the while aware of how her breasts rubbed against him softly. She was confused. Here she was, being so close to someone she barely knew two hours ago, in such an intimate setting, and instead of being skittish, she felt she liked it. Her breathing was deep and gradually she could feel her racing heart calming down slightly.

Harry smiled. This confirmed it for him. She had never been this close with anyone before, and since it was a new experience for her, it was understandable that she was so rigid. He chuckled to himself. Here he was, intending to have some action on a Saturday night, but instead, he found himself in an embrace with such a woman.

'She doesn't deserve that, and she won't want that either.'

Right then, Harry decided he would not go down that route with her.

'She's not meant for fun or pleasure. Girls like her are different,'

Gently, Harry brought her back into his embrace and he felt her much more relaxed than before. Her breathing had evened out and Harry didn't feel her heart thud in her chest anymore.

Finally relaxed, they started to truly get into it. Their bodies moved and swayed in tandem with the melody, and Elena smiled up at him. Harry grinned. As the tune changed, so did their movement. Harry unwrapped his hands from around her as Elena did the same before they held hands. Slowly, still holding hands, they drifted slightly apart before he pulled her closer and twirled her around.

Closing the distance between them, Elena moved closer and rested her hands on his shoulders, his hands on her waist, and as they kept moving with the beats, she looked up at him. They kept smiling at each other and continued to dance when suddenly the music changed and Harry spun her around.

They swayed and moved together, her back pressed against his front. As their dance continued, Elena could feel his bulge press against her from behind, and she blushed. Looking up at Harry, she saw him already looking down at her before he whispered, "I can't help it," and she smiled.

"No issues..." she whispered back with a smile, which widened when she saw his grin.

Elena took hold of his hands which were wrapped around her midsection as they continued to sway in tune with the music. Harry simply wrapped his hand around her flat stomach and pulled her close, holding her against him. Elena simply continued to dance with him, her rear repeatedly brushing against his bulge, sending pleasurable sensations through her, and she rested the back of her head against his chest.

Their fingers intertwined together, their bodies moving rhythmically with the music as they kept gazing into each other's eyes.

"You're beautiful," Harry whispered as he held her tightly against him. Elena smiled shyly.

"Thank you..." she whispered as they continued dancing. Her eyes closed slightly as the back of her head rested on his chest and Elena felt Harry bury his face in her hair.

Harry inhaled her scent deeply, his body swaying with hers. She smelled heavenly, her lustrous black locks shining under the spotlight, and he barely caught himself before he got lost in this intoxicating feeling of her.

Elena fully expected him to kiss her on the neck, and a part of her was fully hoping he did so, but Harry stayed the perfect gentleman, never crossing his boundaries and she felt her admiration for him grow. Finally, the song ended and Elena turned herself around in his embrace. Her eyes, previously closed, opened slowly and instantly came into contact with his emerald pools.

Elena shivered as she took in the emotions on display there.

"It was really fun," she whispered as they continued to look each other in the eyes, none blinking for even a moment.

"Yeah..." Harry murmured, his voice heavy, "it was..."

Elena's breath hitched. His face was inches away from hers, and coming closer ever so slowly. Belatedly she realized she was standing on her tiptoes, her face tilted up and her arms wrapped around his neck. Slowly, they leaned until their lips made contact.

They stood there, lips pressed together, frozen. Their lips moved against each other, slowly, gently, and they pulled themselves closer. Harry held her close, tightly against him and Elena firmly grabbed his head. Her fingers threaded through his hair as the pair continued to kiss each other softly, their bodies pressed intimately together.

Finally, after a long moment, Harry slowly pulled back. His hooded gaze fell on Elena's face, and he smiled at her. Elena's half-closed eyes were looking up at him and she gave a shy smile in return.

"You liked it?" He whispered, pressing his forehead against hers as he looked into those enchanting grey eyes.

"Mmm-hmmm..." Elena murmured happily and pressed her lips back against his for a quick kiss. As they pulled back, a loud noise broke their concentration away from each other.

Surprised, they turned around to see the others clapping for them. Smiling slightly, they made their way over to their area where Lavender was already waiting for them with a huge smile on her face.

"So, enjoyed yourselves, hmm?" Lavender smirked as they reached the bar. Harry simply shook his head while Elena blushed slightly. They took their seats on the barstools and made themselves comfortable. Their legs stayed pressed together and they exchanged a small smile.

"Uh-huh... no need to answer... your faces tell me enough..." Lavender laughed and Harry gave her a mock glare. Elena meanwhile busied herself with looking at her face in the mirror of her Face Powder kit.

"Okay okay! Sheesh..." she muttered with raised hands, "but seriously, that was something. You just wait until I tell Parvati how well you can dance, Harry. She'd be after you wand blazing."

Harry's eyes widened.

"Why's that?" Their heads swiftly turned toward Elena who looked surprised for a second. She sweatdropped when she saw the predatory expression on Lavender's face.

As the two women engaged in digging out his old secrets, Harry busied himself with his drink. He sighed when Lavender finished and Elena laughed hard at his expense, her hand knocking her purse down on the floor, spilling various contents around.

Still snorting, Elena made to hop off her stool but Harry placed his palm on her thigh and stopped her.

"I got this, you continue," he said with a gentle smile, earning him a bashful one in return.

The two women got back into it, discussing his diverse shenanigans during the school years while Harry levitated her things back on the counter. He started putting it all back in her purse. However, while he was doing so, he noticed something and his eyes narrowed.

'Surely not...'

His fingers took hold of the small card, and as he turned it around, his breath hitched. Eyes widened, and Harry Potter looked up at the woman he had just shared such an intimate moment with, finding her smiling and laughing with Lavender before he slowly looked down at the card.

The words were etched clearly, and he could feel the ringing in his ears. With a shocked look on his face, Harry whispered, "Elena Black..."
