Post Credits Epilogue

It's My Honor

Looking up in the sky in shock and disbelief, Sora now saw that after Homura's wish had been fulfilled, in ensuring that Madoka would never die or become a witch after becoming a magical girl, as he felt Leafa's arms wrap around him, making him know that she and everyone else understood his pain at seeing someone from a different timeline die in front of him, as memories of Homura flashed through his mind, as if you could change the channel on your television. Finally the rain stopped, as he looked down at the magical girl's lifeless form, but Madoka, the Chosen Magical Girl, the New Princess of Heart, stood beside him, and gently kissed his cheek.

"Embrace your dreams. If you want to be a hero, you need to have dreams," Zack's voice said in his mind.

"Thank you. I won't forget," Sora murmured quietly, even with Leafa's arms around him.

He slowly stood up, then looked down solemnly at Homura, then blinked heavily to try and hold back the tears.

"Rest in peace… Homura Akemi," he said, then turned and slowly walked back to the Ark with all of his friends at his side, including the five surviving magical girls of Mitakihara at his side.

"Please. Sora, make sure you help Madoka stay safe and protected, as I once did. That's my final request…to you. My spirit…will always be with her, and with you as well, because you too are also my very best friend," Homura's spectral form said, as she took hold of Master Eraqus' hand, and was slowly pulled up into Kingdom Hearts.

"I'm so…relieved," she admitted, then disappeared in a shimmer of light.

Down below, Sora walked with everyone at his side, but Madoka walked with him, as she held his hand, along with all the other girls that loved him at his side.

"If you and Madoka have kids one day, tell them the story of how you helped change the course of destiny, and are now honoring my memory," Homura's voice said for the final time.

Above, a white feather floated down from the sky, then blew away from the sight where Homura fell, and passed away.

"Hey, would you say I became Madoka's hero?" she asked Eraqus.

"Yes, Homura. Madoka Kaname would've been honored to call you her hero," replied the former Keyblade Master.

A few days later on the outskirts of Canterlot, Sora and the others were now walking along the road that lead from Camp Everfree, and were now walking back to the city where they would have a feast to celebrate their victory over Walpurgisnacht, Kyubey, and the incubators, but they knew that wherever Homura was, she would be watching them with a smile on her face, knowing that Madoka had survived thanks to Sora's arrival.

"Hey, Kyoko. We really gonna be Warriors of Light now?" Sayaka asked.

"Yup," replied Kyoko.

"Life in Canterlot is gonna be very different from Mitakihara, even after we told Madoka's mom, dad, and brother, don't you think?" said the bluette.

"It'll give us all a chance to be happy and continue to hone our abilities as Magical Girls of Light, since the witches inside us are gone," assured Mami.

"Question… When my mom says, 'a full day,' she means from the time you get up in the morning till the time you go to bed… but for me, it means from the time you get up in the morning all the way through till the time you get up the next morning. So, which is it for you?" Madoka asked curiously.

"I'll have to agree with your mother on that one, Madoka," remarked the redhead.

"That's a relief," sighed the pinkette.

"Is it though?" questioned Leafa.

"Sora. Bet you've had to hoof it from sunup to sundown tons of times. This is all just same old, same old, right?" asked Rei.

"That's right. But even so, we're all gonna need to stop and rest. Especially you," replied Sora, who felt better after the hug Leafa gave him.

"Yeah, yeah, I know… Anyway, marching into the unknown ain't easy, but don't worry, 'cause I'm here to lead the way!" grinned Kyoko.

"That's comforting!" remarked Madoka.

"Of course it is!" laughed the rogue.

"Okay, everyone–let's stop here for a minute. Your princess' orders! Now breathe in that fresh air!" interjected Usagi.

She took a breath, but when she opened her eyes, she saw that they were still far away from Canterlot.

"Uh, on second thought, we should save that for later. Until we actually get into the city," said Ami.

"Guess this is goodbye, Mitakihara City," admitted Sayaka.

Then she walked up to Riku and kissed him, thus making her be part of his family, just like with Sunset Shimmer, while Mami kissed Roxas, and Kyoko gave Axel a high-five, as the skylark flew high above them with the wind blowing against its wings. To Sora, it was the symbol of true adventure that remained in his heart. Moments later, Madoka was now practicing how to be a pickup girl, with Xion and Hotaru teaching her.

"So, like this, guys?" she asked, after her hand was placed on her hip.

"Yup, just like that," replied Xion.

"You'll be fine, Madoka. All you gotta do is relax, just like I do, and never hesitate or deviate from who you truly are," agreed Hotaru.

Madoka gave a light giggle, until Xion noticed something.

"No way! It's a truck!" called the dark-haired Keyblade Wielder.

Both she and the Sailor Guardian of of Life, Death, and Renewal gave each other a high five, then posed with Madoka with their thumbs up, until Kyoko ran out with her arms outstretched.

"You and Hotaru really do act a bit like sisters, even though you're best friends," said Madoka.

"Of course we are," they replied, but they did give a light giggle.

"HEY! STOP!" she shouted, and the driver pulled to a stop.

Once everyone was all aboard, the truck, Kyoko sat looking very grumpy, while everyone else seemed content, but Xion and Hotaru sat side by side with each other, next to the driver. One of the chocobos began chirping and rubbing its nose against the redhead, which irritated her to no end, until she finally had enough.

"What is it with these damn birds!?" she snapped.

"Uh, sorry about that," Xion said kindly to Choco Bill.

"No need to apologize, young miss!" assured the elderly man.

Kyoko sat back still feeling annoyed, and decided to hum about chocobos for a while, even though she hated light-hearted songs and preferred heavy metal like Sora did. After being dropped off closer to Canterlot, there came the sound of rumbling thunder in the sky above, but it was just a normal thunderstorm, as the wind blew in brief gusts, until the rain came down.

"Look at that… Where's a roof when you need one?" Madoka asked, as the rain fell on her.

"Gonna be okay?" Sora asked kindly.

"Should be, but… it's strange… My stomach's in knots," replied the pinkette.

"That's its way of telling you it's hungry," explained Kirito.

"Yeah. Let's head to Canterlot Mall for some food," agreed Riku.

"Heck yeah, Riku! I can't wait to get my hands on some pizza, courtesy of Sora," grinned Kyoko.

"Don't get too cocky or gluttonous, Kyoko," remarked Axel.

"Oh really, Axel? When'd you get concerned about my appearance?" she asked with a proud smirk.

"Just give it a rest, you two. Trust me. Your arguing will be much worse than when I infight with Usagi, or when Minako and Mako nearly had a heated debacle after CereCere tried to use it to her advantage to get us all killed by Vanitas' hands, which almost lead to her leaving us to reflect on her actions, and even made our friend who wanted to be an idol, judge herself poorly on being the worst person we've ever met," sighed the Sailor Guardian of Mars.

"It's true. I was too wrapped up in fear, but Artemis told me that if I give up on my friends and family, I give up on myself," added Minako, as they headed to Canterlot Mall to get some fresh pizza.

But as they went to get food, Sora saw Madoka standing alone on the streets of Canterlot outside of the mall's food court, when she thought she heard a voice in her head talking to her.

"Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. -As long as you remember her, you are not alone," it said.

"Madoka, what are you doing out here? We're just celebrating the end of both the witches and Incubators," he said.

"I know, but, for some odd reason, I really miss Homura a lot," replied Madoka.

Sora turned and looked up at the sky, then rested his hand on her shoulder.

"To be honest, I miss her too. She was a very complicated magical girl, until I learned the truth about her, from the story she told me. After all, even though she came from a time where a version of you didn't survive, she wanted to be your guardian angel, even when other versions of you played that part. However, you soon played the part of the guardian angel, until Kurai showed up and nearly had her killed, after he tried to kill you. Seeing you die before becoming both a Magical Girl and a Princess of Heart actually inspired you to be the guardian angel of all the people you call your family. Mami, Kyoko, and Sayaka. But, I know that Homura's somewhere in the afterlife, cheering you on, because she's a part of you, no matter what. After all, it's my honor to stay by your side, until the end. I promised Homura that much, and I have no intention of breaking it. I swear. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye," explained Sora.

Madoka couldn't help but giggle at what she heard, until Pinkie Pie popped up out of nowhere.

"Yeah, he learned the Pinkie Pie Promise from the other me in the Pony world, Equestria," she said, then darted away.

"Ah, Pinkie Pie. Always the ever-loveable yet clever girl," Yuna said with a light giggle.

"Yeah, but Madoka, I'm also happy to meet you, too, so welcome to Sora's family, or harem, whatever you want to call it. After all, Homura Akemi knew that she wanted to be your guardian angel, even though she suffered from Groundhog Day Syndrome, which does sound strange coming from a nurse like me," added Compa.

Then the others soon joined her, and Leafa did as well.

"Hey, Sora, I know that I never told you this before, but after hearing how you cried out for Homura after she passed away, it actually made us become closer than before. So, I, uh, I just want you to know that I'll also fight for your happiness as Madoka and the rest of your family will. That's a promise from me to you, because I truly love you just like everyone else does," she said.

Then for the first time, both the Sylphwing Fairy and the spiky brunette shared a kiss with each other, and soon, the others followed suit, one by one, until Sora was covered in kiss marks all over. Soon after he married them, they would all have children to carry on their legacy. Maybe after they became full grown young adults, in whatever future would await them.

"Sora really does have one interesting family, doesn't he, Riku?" Sayaka said.

"Yeah, well, Sora's a little…" Riku replied, but they exchanged a quick laugh with each other.

But then the bluette confessed her feelings to the silverette, and even asked him to teach her how to turn darkness into light, just as he did, until Chibiusa and Sunset arrived.

"Big Brother Riku and Big Sister Sunset would be more than honored to help you, Big Sister Sayaka," she said.

"Whoa, Big Sister Sayaka?" the other girl asked in surprise.

Riku couldn't help but chuckle.

"Chibiusa may be Usagi and Mamoru's future daughter, but in this era, she and I did grow close with each other, and I even visited Crystal Tokyo to help her get a better grasp on how to control the darkness in her heart, as well as teach her that the same darkness in her heart is a part of her, which Diana accepted, since she's Luna and Artemis' future daughter from that era as well," he explained.

"But as I told him before, even after you gave yourself to darkness and did a lot of terrible things, you shouldn't blame yourself for your stupidity, Sayaka. After all, things may come, things may go, some go fast, some go slow, and few things last. That's all I know. But friendship carries on through the end. Your past is not today. After all, you too can work hard to be better, and I'd be more than happy to share Riku with you," added Sunset.

"Thank you, Sunset. And I promise to be both a better Magical Girl, as well as a strong yet dependent Warrior of Light. After talking things out with both Kyosuke and Hitomi, I realized that I still had much to learn about love after all, but I'm happy to be part of Riku's family, just like how Madoka and Leafa are happy to be part of Sora's family," replied Sayaka, then she and Riku exchanged a kiss with each other.

"Good for them, wouldn't you say, Axel?" grinned Kyoko.

"Yeah. When it comes to those guys, they know what it's like to be lost in darkness. Got it memorized?" replied Axel, who still had his cocky demeanor.

Kyoko couldn't help but laugh, even as Rei approached them.

"Well, even though Usagi and I have fought multiple times, Sora saying that our bond grows stronger with each and every interaction, I realize now that no matter our differences, we could never allow our own differences to give Sephiroth the perfect chance to have us both killed. But, I'm actually happy to have you be part of Axel's family, Kyoko Sakura," she said.

Somewhere far away, Mami and Roxas stood near each other and took hold of each other's hands.

"Hey, Roxas, before we first met each other, I had a bit of a crush on Sora, when he saved me from Charlotte's fangs, alongside his friends, Team SKYYLAR. But, at the same time, I realize now that his heart belongs to Madoka, just as it belongs to all those other girls he met in his adventures that became part of his family," she said.

"Mami, even though I was impulsive, prone to anger very easily, I was also a bit of a loner myself, just like you were, before you met Madoka and Sayaka, after your disagreements with Kyoko led to the both of you parting ways on not so friendly terms, just like what happened between both Makoto Kino and her ex. But unlike that jerk who left a scar on Mako's heart, I'll stay by your side, until the end, Mami Tomoe. Because, I too have come to love you as well, no matter what happens," explained Roxas.

This made Mami so happy that she was about to cry, until both she and Sora's former nobody turned brother shared a passionate kiss with each other.

"That was probably the best first kiss of my life, Roxas. Still, if the two of us do get married and have kids of our own, I know that we'll be very proud parents to them," admitted the drill-tailed blonde.

She gave a light giggle, even as Roxas chuckled a bit, then exchanged another kiss with each other.

"Good for them," Hotaru said as she and Xion watched from a distance.

"I agree, Hotaru. I'm actually happy that Roxas is with someone who knows that true loneliness can only cause pain, but now he and Mami can be something more than what they are. He really is very much like Sora, even though he looks very much like Ven," replied Xion.

"What do you say we share some cheesecake with each other?" suggested Mami.

"Okay, then maybe, we'll share some sea-salt ice cream maybe tomorrow," replied Roxas.

The surviving members of the Puella Magi Holy Quintet were very happy to have survived, but they knew that Homura would be watching Madoka with a proud smile, as her journey with Sora and his family was only just beginning.
