Secret Ending
Erity Lucis Caelum
"And that, Erity, was the story of how I helped your mother, Madoka, defeat a terrible darkness that plagued her world, and saved it from destruction," King Sora Lucis Caelum said to his daughter, who looked like Madoka, but had green eyes.
"No way. You and Mom fought against a witch that turned into a Whisper called Walpurgisnacht?" asked Erity.
"That's what Dad said, Sis," interjected Lyra, who resembled her mother, Queen Leafa Lucis Caelum, but had blonde hair tied in the same ponytail style, and had her father's bright blue eyes.
"And you know as well as I do, Sweetie, your father truly is special, since he has made sure that everyone lives, but sometimes, there comes a point when he honors a fallen comrade's last request. Like Homura Akemi, a magical girl who tried to find a way to ensure that Madoka would survive, and survive she did. But after that, all the mana that she had faded away from her, and we chose to honor her memory, by staying at Madoka's side, no matter what," said Leafa.
King Sora looked calmly out the window of his quarters in the citadel, and looked out at the city before him, with his wives and children at his side.
"Homura Akemi. No matter where you are, I hope you're watching over mine and Madoka's daughter, with a smile on your face in the afterlife of Kingdom Hearts," he said quietly.
"I am. And yes, I am happy for both you and Madoka, and your daughter Erity Lucis Caelum, Sora," Homura's spirit replied, as she appeared behind him.
Then she looked out to the sky above.
"I admit that I allowed my fear of losing Madoka to the darkness to almost destroy me, but you chose to honor any wish we made, despite not being a magical girl yourself, even when she became one that defied destiny, and delivered the final blow on Walpurgisnacht after you helped weaken her long enough when you bought her time, and even vanquished Sephiroth once more," she said.
"Even Erity would be happy to know that she's proud to be both mine and Madoka's daughter. And she's very much like you, wanting to protect those she cherishes from death," replied Sora.
With a content smile, Homura's spirit soon returned to Kingdom Hearts, as everyone stood near the throne room of the Lucian Citadel of the Kingdom of Lucis in Insomnia. Soon, there would be more stories to tell, and Sora would be happy to share them with his children, who had now become, Team SSSSIIIYLVVERRRR, honoring their family no matter where they went, as long as the line of Lucis lived on in them.
"I know they'll be alright, Sora, because they're stronger together, now that we're family," assured Madoka.
"Yeah, and we'll be cheering them on with all our hearts, agreed Minako.
"Until that day, till all are one," replied Sora, as he was joined by all of his friends and family, under the sunlit sky over Lucis itself.
The story of how Sora saved Madoka from her dark destiny would forever be etched into the chronicles of yore, by the historians of Lucis and beyond, as Sora looked at all of his sons and daughters running and playing in the courtyard, fighting imaginary Heartless.
"They'll be alright. Won't they, Sora?" Madoka asked.
"I know they will, Madoka," agreed Sora.
They knew that somewhere within Kingdom Hearts, Homura would be smiling at them from the afterlife, and that the journey of Skylight and his siblings would soon begin, in a world filled with light and hope.
