Tonks apparated across from the simple house on private drive and slowly walked over to the lookout spot where the stench hit her nose before his voice.

"Ahhh Goods'you. " The slurred voice of one Mundungus Fletcher rose from a spot next to her. With a quick swing of his arm the man threw off the invisibility cloak he had been wearing. "Fina'y can go h'me ands leep."

"Mundungus.." Tonks sighed at the voice and the formed as she could smell booze, drugs, and something she can only correlate with human waste. "Any sign of movement from Harry?" She could already feel the migraine growing once again from simply having to speak to this man.

"Not 'hat I've 'een" He coughed and began to close a bottle next to him and shoved into his pocket, which Tonks mentally noted was already empty anyway. "Kid's 'evermoved unce." Was the last thing he said before apparating away.

Classy Mundungus classy, she thought in disgust before thinking what he had said over in his head. Harry hadn't moved at all? The situation had to be worst than they could have worried about. After checking to make sure no one was watching she quickly crossed the road straight forward to the door of Number 4 Privet Drive. Her knuckle rapped against the door in rapid succession.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" She could hear a voice, that sounded like someone yelling into a barrel, yelled. Before she could knock again the door swung open and a mass of a man with a purple face looked upon this young woman that stood upon his steps. He looked at how she was dressed and couldn't help but sneer. Especially with the color of her hair. "Yes? What is it? Why have you ruined my morning coffee?"

She rose a eyebrow at the sneer but decided not to comment on it due to the bits she's heard from passing the golden trio's conversations during last summer. Even then they didn't sound as bad as this first impression gave.

"Hi, I'm here looking for Harry Pot-" She didn't even get to finish the name before the door slammed in her face. Well, she thought, that was rude. Tonk's lip slowly got pulled between her teeth as her hair grew to a more red color at how she had just been treated. Especially after trying to be polite. Well then perhaps a more forceful approach, she thought before she again knocked upon the door.

"Oh in the name of Bloody!" Again the voice rose as the big footsteps could be heard shaking the house itself. "We've told that boy what would happen if anymore of those fffffreaks came here he'd get it!" He opened the door less gently this time and stepped out getting in the woman's face. "Now listen here you! You gerroff my property! There's no one by that name here in this Hou-" His tyrant stopped as he rose a finger to point directly in her face when the point of Tonks' wand got shoved against his throat clamming his mouth shut.

"Now see here!" Tonks' voice rose, sounding quite like Umbridge from the few times she had the "fortune" to meet the toad faced woman, as she pushed forward causing the mountain of a man who would give Hagrid a run for being considered a giant with his stomach into the room. "I am here for him. I could care less about you horrid, stubborn, loud mouthed, ignorant, bloody individual!" Her magic reacted around her causing the door to slam shut behind her as she pushed forward. "And I am going up to see him now. If I find out you have done ANYTHING to him I will make you regret it for the rest of your very short life!"

Vernon Dursley fell back from the magic outbursts and looked up at her in fear watching the hair color change to resemble almost that of a raging fire. All the words in his vocabulary began to come out in stutters as he watched her head toward the stairs before stopping and looking at the cupboard under the stairs. Tonk's hair seemed to grow even brighter as she looked at the locks. She looked back at Vernon who was in a kneeling position then and then up at the sudden gasps of a woman and her, similar to her husband, round son. They kept this stare for what felt like forever before Tonks began to rush upwards the stairs.

She finally reached a door with many locks on it and she had to close her eyes for a moment after counting. Eight. Eight Locks. Either these muggles were simply not aware or they did it on purpose, but an even number was not good for magic. She pointed her wand at the locks.

"Alhohamora. " She spoke in a restrained voice. It took everything she could not to use the Reductor Curse. Honestly she would have taken the entire door in her state of mind. She pushed the door open and looked straight in and froze as she saw him. Laying upon his bed, his eyes raw and empty, but what took her voice was the cuts she saw.

"Tonks...?" She heard Harry's voice but at the same time it sounded as if it could have been from someone else as it sounded rough as if he had not drank anything in forever. "What are you doing here?..." She had been starting at him for so long she had been lost in the moment. She turned around and quickly pointed her wand at the door and whispered a locking charm before slowly approaching.

"I'm here to check up on you Harry...Remus was getting worried about you." Tonks admitted to him before sitting him upright. Her hand ran down to his wrist. "Harry these are..." She dare not finish her words and began to cast first aid spells on the cuts to slow and stop the bleeding. They'd scar as her skill wasn't that good but it was better than nothing.

"Stop!" He pulled his arm from hers as she got through half the cuts. "I'm...I'm alright..." He pulled his shirt sleeves down to cover the cuts. Harry didn't want the cuts to be gone. He thought that if they were gone then he would once again be even more empty again.

"Harry...this is not alright. " Was all Tonks could even say. She didn't reach out for his arm after he pulled away and simply laid her arm out open for him to put it back into her touch. "Please let me help you."

Harry looked down at his wrist and slowly shook his head and seemed to shrink a bit at her arm's reach. What all have you been through Harry, she thought before nodding and slowly putting her wand down.

"Alright Harry I won't do it unless you say." She relented for now. Tonks could see that Harry was acting more like a animal frightened for it's life. "I...we..." She didn't know how to continue. "How are you Harry?" Tonks mentally slapped herself for asking such a stupid question. Of course he's not alright you metamorphaidiot, she thought.

"I'm...I don't know..." Harry whispered as he seemed to lessen the weight his shoulders seemed to hold. "I keep looking at this mirror. " He rose the piece of mirror. "And expect to see him looking and speaking to me...but he's not there...he's never gonna be there again..." There. The sting rose again in his eyes against his wishes. He didn't want to look weak, after all He was "The Chosen One", "The Boy Who Livid", the one who was to stop Voldemort. Not Dumbledore, not Sirius, him.

"Harry." Tonks' voice took his ear. "It's alright Harry I know how you feel.." She slid to the spot beside him. "Sirius is...was my favorite cousin, besides you of course, but he wouldn't want you to keep it all bottled in like I see you have." She could see it on his face as he looked toward her. Her hand rose and slowly went through his hair. "You can cry."

And with that it seemed the gates opened. To simply be given the permission. The permission to not have to carry the weight of the world but the weight of only himself. Harry stopped fighting as he took a big gasp of air and the tears let free. He instinctly leaned into the touch of Tonks who pulled him closer to her laying his head on her shoulder and her chin on him.

"Let it out Harry." She whispered as her hand went through his hair. She quickly muttered a silencing charm on the room before speaking again. "Be as loud as you want Harry. Those Muggles won't know" With that the loudest sound of anguish let loose from within him. A sound he had not heard himself make since the night Cedric was killed by Voldemort and Moo-Barty Crouch Jr. led him to the tower.

Emotionally, physically, and mentally drained Harry's body grew slowly quiet, and his breathing layered out more alerting her to him falling asleep. She laid him down gently and tucked him in. She looked at his wrist and quickly cast the last of the healing spells in order to at least close the wounds. With Harry asleep this gave her the time to examine and analyze. Constant vigilance, Moody would say in this scenario and it made her laugh a little. That was until Tonks took in the area.

The walls and ceiling seemed cracked and the wallpaper old. It seemed that it was most likely just a storage room which confirmed what the locks on the cupboard meant. Harry had not gotten this actual room until recent years. She finally came to an agreement with herself. Harry needed more than simply a few quick visits a week from her or Remus...he needed someone there to fix the damage this...family had done to him.

She turned on her heel and took out her wand and began to wave it as she walked around the room. She would make it so Harry would have everything he wanted in here. Enchanting the room she increased the silencing charm into a ward along with the ability to increase the room's size without it being reflected to the outside eye. She would be able to transfigure what he needed along with teaching him a bit. The last ward she put in was for her mentor Alastor Moody. Something she had come to learn when he wouldn't keep his nose out of her life when she left personal items in her desk at the ministry. Let's just say having your letter from your date read to the entire department isn't what one would call uplifting.

She nodded in agreement to the wards and back to Harry.

"Don't worry Remus...I'll take care of him." Was all she could say as she continued to work in the room shrinking and moving items to fit it better.
