Harry slowly awoke from his rest his eyes slowly peeling away. For the first time since the events at the ministry he had rested. Surprisingly he felt rested. He slowly rose up and ran his hand down his arm as he felt the itch of scabs. He saw the cuts on his wrists and closed his eyes muttering a silent thank you to Tonks. Now that he had time to rest he was glad she had decided against his wishes and closed them but at the same time she didn't fully remove them. Maybe as a way for him to be able to reflect.

"Finally your awake." His ears peeked up at the sound of that familiar voice. He slowly looked up towards her. "Wotcher Harry." She winked at him playfully making him look away with a small bit of red dash on his cheeks. "How are you feeling now that you have had some time to rest?" Tonks gently sat upon the bed across from him.

"I...I guess some sleep did help." Harry admitted as he pulled the sleeve over his wrist and looked around noticing things had moved. "Um...Tonks? What did you do to my room?" He asked as it seemed neat and organized comparingly to when he had came back from school. Slowly turning the only thing he could see for sure was the smile that traced her face. It's quite a pretty smile isn't it, he thought to himself.

Tonks jumped up from the bed onto her feet and swung her arm around in a circle gesturing to the entire room. "This Harry, is me making up for quite a few birthday presents i had missed out on." She joked. "But in reality this is to help you a bit."

"Help me?" Harry rose his eyebrow at her point. "What does Dumbledore have to say about this?" He watched her reaction of what he said and he watched as her nose did this small twitch thing that, although was really cute, told him the truth. "He doesn't know your doing this?"

"Honestly he thought you needed space right now due to Sirius' death." Tonks admitted and shook her head. "But you need someone here with you right now. And the good thing about the enchantments on this room is that I can be here for you." She waved her wand and transfigured the old desk on the counter with the broken computer into an actual kitchen. "Now. Dinner?"

Harry was about to say something when his stomach growled at the word. He bit his lip and rubbed the back of his neck. He hadn't realized how hungry he was since he hadn't ate. Simply nodding Harry proceeded to follow her to the kitchen area and opened up the cabinets. Suprise suprise there was ingredients within.

"How many times am I going to say this?" He chuckled sarcastically. "I love magic."

"I'll take that as a thank you." Tonks gave a small laugh and a bow. "This enchantment came in good use during stakeouts. Didn't have to constantly be leaving for groceries. Just make sure you leave atleast a bit of the item and it'll replenish itself." She opened up a fridge before she felt it get closed by Harry.

"Uh uh I still remember the breakfast you tried to make at Grimmauld. I take it Kingsley cooked more than you on the stakeouts. " His trading grew and his smile began to come back. "Besides. This is the one thing I enjoyed with..." You'd have to be blind to not see the shudder take seemed to rake down the spine of Harry and it broke something inside Tonks.

"Harry I'm gonna make sure you don't have to see them...In fact I plan on coming back to your room every night." Tonks admitted calmly which is less to say how Harry was taking it as his eyes bugged out. "Oh come off it Harry, do you think I'd leave you here alone after what I saw last night. Your lucky I don't tell Hermione."Now that made Harry go white...literately. It happened so quick Tonks had to blink to make sure she wasn't seeing things. His color came back after a moment. Deciding to file that for future investigation, Tonks stepped back and held up her hands. "Alright Cooking is in your hands Chef Master Potter."

An instinctive flick of Harry's wrist with his wand shot a stinging hex to her rear without thinking and just wanting to get back at her. He dropped the wand and stepped away. He waited...and waited...and waited? No letter? No howler from the ministry?

Tonks turned giving him a glare before seeing his puzzled look. "Harry, haven't you ever noticed you could do magic while at the burrow or Grimmauld? As long as your near an individual who is allowed to do magic and are not observed by those of non magical descent you don't activate the Trace."

"So I...I can use magic here?" You could hear the joy returning to his voice, and god was it contagious as Tonks began to smile.

"Yes Harry, you can do magic." Tonks reached out to hug him when he flinched at the reach and back stepped. Just like last night, she thought to herself. "I'm sorry..."

"It's fine." His voice once filled with joy seemed drawn back in almost an instant. Harry turned and got to work on cooking. He kept his back to her in the meantime. Her eyes stuck to his back for a moment before she ran a hand through her hair and conjured up a nice dining table and two chairs for them. Along with all the silverware they needed.

She couldn't help but think about his reaction. The quick jerking motions when she had tried to reach out to touch him, the instant changing in his voice. She grew increasingly concerned and looked at Hedwig who was peering at Harry cooking. She shared the same look as Tonks. That did it.

Tonks went to the table and began to write a letter. "Hey Harry, could I borrow Hedwig for a moment?"

"Yeah go ahead Tonks." With that quick affirmation she looked at Hedwig.

"Alright girl I know you care about him, I need you to take this letter to Madam Bones...I know you know what's up with him...and I think it's time someone helped him please?" Tonks almost begged the owl who gave her a long look before sticking out her talons for the letter as if to say "come on now give it here." A smile grew on the woman's face as she put the letter on Hedwig and sent her out.

"Thank you Hedwig..." She whispered to the now empty cage. Slowly returning she peeked on Harry who's shoulders had relaxed and his stance seemed taller. He really does like cooking, she thought and it made her smile seeing him getting into it. Not to mention the smell of the food was divine. "You cook like that for any girl and you'll be lucky everytime. " She grinned seeing the red come to Harry's ears as he blushed.

"Tonks..." Harry groaned and ran a hand down his face pulling his cheeks down and to try and get the blush off his face as he looked at her. And again there it was his blush fading. Too quickly for a normal person. That confirmed it to her. Harry was in fact a Metamorphmagus.

After dinner was served, a nice pot of stew. They sat down on the bed and spoke about quidditch moments from each of their years. Finally it grew time and she had to ask it.

"Harry how did you make your blush disappear?" Tonks was laid out on the bed looking up at him with her head off the side. Harry simply shrugged at the question. "I don't think you realize that People don't do that. Even magical people. " She sat up and crossed her legs on the bed. "I think your like me."

"Tonks we already know I'm like you. I'm a wizard remember. " He poked her forehead with his wand playfully.

"Not like that Harry. I want you to watch my hair color Harry and try to think of your hair like it?" Tonks gently reached her hand up for him to take and slowly Harry took her hand. He looked up at her hair and watched the colors change. Eventually she stuck it to a orange-red color which Harry had to admit looked pretty good and he took that color in a bit. "Oh my god Harry look!" She pointed at the mirror she conjured on the wall and when he looked Harry's entire hair was the exact same color. "I guess that explains why your hair is always a messy rat's nest. Your powers are just unable to stay controlled by you so it pushed out your hair to be messy in response."

Instinctively out of the hair comment he ran a hand up to try and put it down some which made Tonks giggle a bit. "Okay that was kinda cute too. Though honestly I feel like if you make your hair full black then you'll really be on your way of breaking hearts " Once again she teased before yelling, she rolled out of the way of a stinging hex. "Ha!"

"Accio Tonks!"

"Oh no..." Was all that came from Tonks as she flew through the air straight at Harry knocking them both onto the bed with her on top of him. She groaned and pushed up looking down at Harry's face. "Oh Harry if you wanted me in your bed all you had to do was ask~" His eyes turned to that of saucers before she broke out laughing. She laughed so hard she fell to the side gripping her sides. "Oh ow ow ow...that hurts to laugh that hard."

"God your the worst I hope you know that." Harry glared but couldn't stop himself from laughing with her. Eventually they grew silent as he stood.

She smiled and followed suit. "Best get ready for bed Harry, we got two kinds of training tomorrow. Your powers and your dueling. And I'm gonna give you the Moody treatment!" She said with a grin. Harry's stomach seemed to drop at that comment.

Tonks conjured up a second bed and began to change. "Is it okay if I borrow one of your shirts?"

"Um uh sure?" Harry was surprised by her comment and turned around to not watch her as he took off his own shirt. And after switching to a pair of sweat pants he slid into his bed before looking back to Tonks. His eyes bulged as he watched her pull on his Jumper for quidditch. She turned on her heels and caught his eyes.

"I'm not wearing one of your sweaty cousin's oversized messes. Besides this fits me quite well don't you agree?" She flashed a smile which again made Harry groan with a roll of his eyes and flipped in his bed. "Good night Harry." Tonks spoke as she slipped into her bed.

"Night Tonks." Harry muttered as well before pulling the blanket over him. Soon however sleep seemed forbidden to him as his body shook and shakes in the blanket. "No! Cedric!...Sirius! No kill me! Kill me instead!"

Tonks had been awoke by the first "No". She slid out of the bed and into hers wrapping her arms around him. His eyes swung open and looked upon her with such fear and terror before noticing it was her. She ran a hand up and through his hair to help calm him. Slowly his eyes flickered from the continuous calming touch and he pressed his face to the hand. Sleep retook him this time but before she could pull away his arm went around her on reflex. She smiled and stayed how she was. As sleep and comfort took her she could only think, this feels nice.
