Dumbledore was gone only but a moment before returning with something all too familiar with Harry. The object that if he had been more clear with he may have found Barty Crouch Jr. out earlier. The Pensive.

"Professor...why have you brought the pensive?" Tonks asked him as it was placed in the center before them.

"To begin what I should have started sooner Tonks." Dumbledore looked past her and to Harry. "To show you truths and prepare you Harry." He pulled outa bag and laid it on the ground before flicking his wand at it. Opening the bag brought out a golden case of vials each with dates, names, and locations. "Over the years since his first rise and even more so since his return, I've taken to acquiring every memory I could since that day after you awoke from the hospital in your first year."

Harry could still remember that day waking up and seeing Dumbledore congratulating him in his victory and explaining what came of the Philosopher's Stone. He gently stood and walked over.

"Today I'm going to take you completely under my wing. And since I do not see you leaving Harry alone for this journey Tonks." The old man's eyes twinkled again almost with a knowing sense which made both of them cough and turn to look away from each other...but both held a smile. "I shall train you as well. When I'm done with both of you, you two will be considered the next Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Hopefully with out how that story ended." Albus smiled for the first time in Merlin knows how long he felt this smile was not forced but true. "Do you accept?"

Harry and Tonks looked back at each other finally. As if a silent conversation was being said with the look and connection into the other's eyes.

"Yes." They both announced nodding.

"Good. Very Good." Dumbledore smiled then his smile faltered. "Now...before we begin...I understand you wish to ask me about the Dursleys.." Dumbledore put a hand on Harry's shoulder. "My recommendation is a hard one. As safe as they are here...They could never enjoy they're lives with what's just happened. The trauma will cause them to constantly look over their shoulders until their final days. I will aid you in this...but, perhaps with a Memory Alteration and Memory Suppression Charm. Until you relive them of it of course. And send them on a trip to America. I have contacts in Ilvermorny the North American School of Witchcraft and Wizardry which can keep a eye on them and safe. No one will suspect a sudden new family to appear there."

Harry thought about this for a moment before nodding. "You're right Headmaster. As strong as the wards here are there will always be the possibility that they can be broken. They may rival Hogwarts...but even a blind bee finds a flower eventually." The Headmaster nodded at this. "Let me just go say goodbye...and we'll do it together." Again the old man nodded as Harry left the room and slowly approached his uncle, aunt and cousin. He felt a pull of guilt in his stomach but in the end it made the most sense to keep them safe. They didn't have magic to keep them safe and now Voldemort truly knew about them so Muggle England would never be safe for them until he was finally defeated. He went in and coughed.

"Oh Harry is everything alright?" His Aunt responded upon hearing the cough and slowly walked over to look at him. Slowly Vernon and Dudley also joined the two.

"I...i need to do something to keep you all safe." Harry admitted to them as he felt his eyes burn with the tears beginning.

"Well what is it bo-...Harry?" Vernon asked him as a look of concern came to his face...but not a look of concern for himself but now for Harry. "Whatever it is you can tell us." Dudley kept quite as he watched though and almost as if he could suspect it...he knew what was gonna happen was going to be bad.

"I'm going to alter your memories and keep them hidden. Specifically your memories of well...Me." Harry told them as tears began to drip from his eyes.

"What that's absurd!" Vernon yelled loudly making Harry flinch.

"What Vernon said Harry." Petunia looked down at him with concern. "I've gotten a piece of my sister back in you...I will not lose you both." A strain was in on her voice.

"Don't you see!" Harry yelled making both pause before they continued the argument. "If I don't do this He's going to kill you!" He rubbed his face. "I can't lose any more family." And that's when all eyes widened as Harry broke down crying. He didn't know how long he cried but knew the moment he felt not one set, not two sets, but three sets of arms around him that his tears grew. Finally he looked up and saw the Dursleys around him. They all had their eyes closed all except Dudley who looked Harry in the eyes. They shared a long look before Dudley finally nodded. A unsaid understanding and at the same time a giving of consent. Harry hugged them close as he sent a message to a house elf to get Dumbledore.

The family never noticed as the Greatest Wizard of This Age looked upon them and nodded to Harry. Slowly he lifted his wand and pointed it at them.

"I love you all." Harry whispered loud enough for the family to hear those words.

Later that day, all records of the Dursleys seemed to vanish as the Conway family took off to America after a sudden promotion for the man of the family and a sudden invitation to a private school for Dudley Conway. A young man with messy black hair looked up at them as they took off in the plane before turning and disappearing back to his manor.

Upon coming back Tonks descended upon Harry and wrapped him tightly in a hug.

"I'm so sorry you had to do this. I promise once he's gone...we'll get them back for you." Tonks said as she held him. Harry's body shook as he gripped her close. The comfort her arms brought him was needed more than anything at this moment in time. "Come now...It's time for our talk." She slowly pulled him to the manor and upstairs. "Dumbledore has taken to a guest room for now." She said to try and break the tension as she lead him to the bed to sit.

It was weird but as they sat down Her hand went to his head and pulled it down to her lap out of no where but neither would complain as it felt quite natural. "So that kiss this morning was great." She smiled at him. "Listen Harry. I know this is weird but...I can't help it. I know I'm older which was already gonna cause issues with your age but with you also being Harry Potter...it increases those fears in others. Not to mention there is a full freaking War going on around us and we could both die at any moment. " She said sighing at the all too real occurrence that would happen and as she spoke Harry's already sad heart grew sadder thinking that he knew how this was going to go. "But." His ears peeked up at that simple word. "I've realized how much you've impacted my life. You've been there for me the same as I've been for you. So. Harry James Potter. What do you say?"

Harry looked up at her in shock at what she was saying and more importantly what it meant not only for him but also for her. He knew this would put her in even more danger but after the loss of his family now, though not in the same way he lost his mother and father but in a way honestly far worst, he needed this. He didn't know what this was but in the end It was what he needed. He leaned up and put his hand on her cheek and slowly pulled her down. Just like the events of earlier he pulled her down into the kiss. It was soft, deep, and at the same time it had a sense of something more. Something that just made it feel even better. Especially when Tonks didn't argue and simply kissed him back. Slowly the kisses grew longer and deeper as Harry slowly shifted from her lap to the bed, and Tonks upon him. In a day that left him much more pained than he intended the simple act of kissing and feeling love by this woman gave way to his heart. And he felt it.

Literately he felt the love from her flow into him. He didn't know what this was but it made him want more as his kisses grew in frequency now. The feeling drifted into him and upwards filling him from his toes to his forehead, and once it reached his forehead Harry could have sworn that he could feel a part deep inside him screaming in pain. How he couldn't tell but as that part screamed in pain he felt his magic grow. It grew and grew like a Oak over many years. If either had opened their eyes too they may have also seen the bright light that surrounded them both together, however a curious old man had been exploring the home of his favorite pupils and with such vigor had spotted the bright light peeking through the cracks of the door. It sprayed out into the hall way and just a small touch of the light on him he felt the touch of something he had not felt recently. Youth. Energy. Pure Magic...or in simplest terms. Love. It brought a tear to his eye as his thoughts drifted to Grindelwald. Though he still did not regret his actions against his truest love, he had forgotten how it felt to feel that kind of love. Slowly he retreated to his quarters before sending out his patronis to convey a message. One he should have done a long long time ago.

Even after the kiss finished the feeling remained. He felt her head rest against his chest and his head against hers. He kissed the top of her head before feeling sleep take him. A sleep that drew him into dreams. Something he had not been able to have since the end of the fourth year of Hogwarts when Voldemort returned fully.

The next day came quick as both awoke and couldn't help but smile at each other.

"Good morning." Harry whispered down to her.

"Morning to you." Tonks smirked up at him and kissed his cheek before standing and getting ready. Once done they headed down to the living room. Dumbledore sat with a cup of tea in his hand and in the seat across from him a frail old man. A man who looked like if you nudged he'd fall apart with ease.

"Ah Good Morning Harry. Tonks." Dumbledore smiled as his newest apprentices approached the two gentlemen. It was upon closer inspection that it became clear the frail old man had chains upon his wrists which constantly glowed.

"Good Morning Professor um...who is this?" Harry asked.

"I hope you don't mind Harry but I asked a favor of Cesar. I told him this was gonna help you prepare and in doing so swore an Unbreakable Vow." Tonks gasped at this. "To him that this will never cause you purposeful harm." Dumbledore explained. "It is with both deep thought and hope of something to come in the future for you both...I introduce to you my former colleague."

The frail man turned to them and gave a small yet curved smile. "So your the one the wizarding world looks to now...Well Harry James Potter...My name is Gellert Grindelwald."
