JENNIE POINT OF VIEW
Jennie bit down on her bottom lip, the silence that had drowned her roared loudly into her ears.
"So you left because of her, not because of me?" I asked.
Jennie had always assumed she'd left because she'd turned her back on her after she'd found out Lisa cheated. Which she couldn't exactly blame her but a part of her had always wanted Lisa fight for her. A small part of her was hurt that Lisa hadn't and yet the other very large part had understood.
Lisa nodded, her eyes assessed her, "the night that you left to go to dinner with your mom, my dad came up to tell me my mother had called him saying I needed to come home. I couldn't say no, she was my guardian. She would have sent the cops over if I hadn't"
She didn't harbor any hate towards Lisa for leaving, she'd been broken but she had also understood. It was just nice to know that she hadn't wanted to leave.
Now it was her turn to explain to her, because she wasn't the only one at fault. Lisa wasn't the only one who'd technically cheated.
"Lisa... about the kiss with Jackson... i want you to know that it had meant absolutely nothing. He'd followed me out when I went to grab a refill and he approached me, when he kissed me... I don't know, I just-I just started to kiss him back."
Lisa shook her head and let out a humorless chuckle, "that's a shit excuse. But it was only a kiss"
Tears began to gather behind her eyes before they slipped down her face, she laughed nervously while wiping her face. Lisa stood and came around the table to kneel beside her.
"What's wrong?"
"We've wasted so much time. Five years is a long time to waste" I said.
Lisa's hands came up to cup her face before she pulled her into a deep kiss, Lisa's tongue flicked against hers before retreating. When Lisa pulled back they were both rearing to go.
"Then let's not waste it now"
"Ok" she whispered leaning forward to kiss Lisa gently.Lisa growled against her lips nipping her bottom lip gently.
"We better stop before I fuck you on this kitchen table" Lisa pulled away and stood up before stepping back only to lean against the kitchen island. Lisa's eyes watching her like a hawk.
A rush of heat enveloped her and cream slipped into her panties.
Would she always be so ready for her?
Clearing her throat she sat straighter in her chair, her legs scissoring, hoping to ease the pressure, "so, will you tell me what happened with your ex?"
Crossing Lisa's arms across her chest, Jennie watched the movement as her abs tightened, the hard ridge in her jeans prominent. "Karma" she said, "Karma is what happened. I went home and found her sitting in the bathroom, she was crying. I asked her what was wrong and she told me she was pregnant"
Jennie stilled, her world coming to a halt as Lisa spoke. Her ex girlfriend was pregnant? Was it her? Jennie tensed, her heart dropped.
"Is it yours?" She whispered. Already asking herself if she could handle her having to be in her ex girlfriends life because of their child.
"No."
She let out a big sigh of relief, from the corner of her eye she saw Lisa tense and she knew she'd made a mistake. The knot in her stomach tightened.
"You wanted it to be yours" she stated. She wasn't sure how she felt about that.
Lisa shrugged, "Jennie... I'm not going to lie to you. Yes a small part of me wanted it to be mine. But it's not and it's not even alive anymore. So there's no reason to discuss it" she snapped.
Jennie shrunk back, it had been a long time since she'd spoke to her like that. A new flash of anger over took her, she wasn't going to be walked on.
"There is a reason to discuss it! You're saying you wanted this child to be yours but where would that leave me?" She said clenching her fists.
"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Lisa roared pushing herself off of the island, "where would that leave you? Not everything is about you Jennie! Jesus get your head out of your ass."
Jennie's chest was rising and falling as her anger spiked further, "what is wrong with you?!"
"I'm trying to discuss this with you and your making it about you!" Lisa shouted.
"It involves me! So excuse me for wanting to ask questions about a very important topic!"
Lisa pinched the bridge of her nose, her eyes were closed and seemed tired, "Look for a split moment I thought the baby was mine. She'd said she lost it. I was hurt, if she'd actually been pregnant with my baby then I would have cared for it. I don't care for Esther the way I do you Jennie, I love you. But I would have loved the baby to, and if you truly loved me you would stand by me and accept the baby."
Jennie watched as Lisa walked out of the room. She closed her eyes and leaned her forehead against the cool table.
Jealousy was an evil vile thing that twisted your insides, creating a possessive monster. That giant green giant was biting her in the butt. She was hurt and jealous. She'd never really thought of having kids before but hearing Lisa talk about caring for a baby, she realized she wouldn't mind it. Thinking more on it she realized she wanted to have Lisa's baby which is where the jealousy came in at.
She didn't want some other woman bearing Lisa's children because she wanted to.
She was being greedy.
Pulling her pony tail out she let the soft waves of her hair drape down her back and across her shoulders to rest onto the wood of the table.
A hand settled on the small of her back drifting upwards to squeeze her shoulder.
She didn't lift her head to make sure it wasn't an intruder, she didn't have to. The smell of her shampoo and body wash was strong enough that she had no problem telling it was her.
Lisa pressed a kiss on the tip of her head before kneeling down and nuzzling into her neck, "im sorry little minx. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I know you were curious"
Jennie let out a sigh, she felt bad because it wasn't entirely her fault, "no, im sorry. I-i just got so jealous." She admitted.
"Jealous of what?" She asked placing small kisses on her neck.
Jennie lifted her head causing Lisa to pull away from her. She locked her eyes onto her as she spoke, "because she was going to have your baby and I wasn't" she said truthfully.
She watched as Lisa,'s eyes darkened, those deep sea eyes diving to deeper depths.
"You want to have my baby?" She asked her.
She nodded shyly.
"I'm giving you a month to think about this and then I'm taking you up on that offer" Lisa growled out causing her to blush.
Lisa grabbed her hand, enterwining their fingers before bringing their hands up and kissing her knuckles softly.
Her heart fluttered, her palms began to sweat and she knew she truly loved Lisa.
