Welcome back! This chapter won't have that much happening but kinda does at the same time, it just lays down the groundwork for the 1-A kids and what I planned for some of them in this fic.

Anyways, on to the chapter

Chapter 2

Izuku sat on top of a stone pillar, he was currently waiting on one of his seniors and classmates to make their way to him.

After they had met their seniors, Aizawa and Midnight had split them all up towards their respective teachers. Apparently, they won't have a one-on-one session as multiple of them had been assigned to one senior and there were even multiple seniors being assigned to just two of his classmates.

Izuku and Yaoyorozu had been assigned to Emiya Shirou. His quirk was perfect to help aid Momo with her creations and it was already obvious that Shirou seemed to have some interest in helping Izuku, so he was assigned to him.

That was yesterday, today they are all currently in gym gamma with the area already prepared by Cementoss for them. All of them were already in their hero costume as they waited for their seniors to come.

Admittedly, Izuku was very nervous for a few reasons. One was that he would be having a lot of personal time with Yaoyorozu. He knew a few of his male classmates would be jealous of his so-called "luck". And he can't even blame them for it too! Yaoyorozu is very beautiful and a great person at that. He was very lucky to even spend time with her let alone catch her attention.

Some part of him can't help but still think everything was a dream, that he would wake up and get back to Aldera. To all the name-calling and ridicule.

Back to being a useless Deku.

He shook his head away from that thought as he controlled his breathing, he had caught his breathing ramping up from his thoughts and was trying to get himself to calm back down.

Shaking his head, his mind wandered towards the other reason why he was so nervous.

Emiya Shirou knows about One For All.

Or it seems like he knew of it anyway, he knew All Might's identity and he did say All Might chose well after all.

(He ignores the slight happiness that he felt from knowing someone acknowledges him)

The evidence points towards Shirou knowing about One For All. But that leads to the other question, how?

Was he someone important to All Might? Did they have a prior connection? Or did Shirou know of it some other way?

Izuku sighed in frustration as he kept thinking about it, the train of thought was starting to make him rather frustrated.

"You seem to be deep in thought, mind telling me what you got in your mind?"

The sudden new voice made Izuku flinch before he swerved around, seeing the very source of his worry standing right before him in his hero costume.

Currently, Shirou was wearing a sleeveless black bodysuit that splits off into a waistcoat after reaching past his waist with black pants. A white half-jacket with loose long sleeves was worn on top of it. A red rope could be seen surrounding his pants and being tied into a bow at the front. He also had some armor around his arms and shins that were also connected to his sandals.

All in all, Shirou looked like someone from the Sengoku Era.*

"Woah…" Izuku gasped, making Shirou chuckle.

"What do you think? Like it? I based it on an ancestor of mine. Apparently, it's pretty close to what he would wear when he was working on the forge." Shirou revealed.

Izuku nodded at that, "The forge?"

Shirou nodded, "Yeah since I'm more into creating weapons then I might as well lean into the blacksmith aesthetic."

Izuku nodded at that, "Make sense."

Shirou then looked back towards Izuku, "So, what got you so deep in thought?"

Izuku opened his mouth and closed it several times, looking a bit nervous and indecisive before steeling himself.

"Senpai, what do you mean by Yagi-san chose well?" He asked directly, his confronting eyes hiding the nervousness within him.

Shirou raised an eyebrow before he settled into a smile, "What else would he choose for. The next user of One For All of course." He revealed.

Izuku widened his eyes in shock, "How did you know?!"

Shirou slowly made his way towards Izuku and sat beside him on the ledge, "Guess Yagi-san didn't tell you huh? I was actually chosen for it last year."

Izuku looked even more shocked at that, Emiya-senpai was actually chosen for One For All?

"You were?"

Shirou nodded, "Yep. I met him in the middle of my internship and we talked. It didn't take long before he considered me as a possible successor but I refused."

Izuku can't help but boggled his mind at that, why would he refuse? One For All would be such a useful quirk for him!

Apparently, his expressions made it rather obvious for his senpai to pick up. "You must be wondering why I refused it huh?" Shirou chuckled in amusement.

"Yeah," Izuku admitted sheepishly. "I mean One For All is a useful quirk. You could literally be the next All Might with it! So you rejecting it is kinda confusing."

Shirou nodded understandingly at that, "Yes I can understand where you are coming from. But really, my own quirk is already pretty powerful. I can copy quirks, remember? Giving me One For All would just be redundant."

Izuku nodded at that, "I see, you could just copy One For All then since your quirk can do that."

Shirou chuckled at that, "Funnily enough I did try that before, but apparently One For All can somehow detect it and it backfired. It wasn't until I've been considered as a successor that I was able to copy it properly. Guess it decided it was ok now with me actually being considered for it."

Izuku widened his eyes at that, "Oh yeah it did happen before with me too! There was this student in 1-B who could copy quirks. He tried copying it during the Sports Festival but it backfired with One For All hurting him in the process!"

He could still remember how it had happened, it was during the cavalry battle and Monoma had tried to copy his quirk when both of their teams had somehow come near each other. But the moment Monoma touched him, green electricity had crackled around him and had hurt Monoma.

Suffice to say, the boy had actively avoided him after that.

Shirou hummed at that, "After 200 years, it must have gained some sort of sapience. It must have been a safeguard to protect itself from All For One." The name caused Izuku to narrow his eyes slightly, he had met the villain during Kamino after all. He could still remember the primordial fear he had felt when he first met him.

"Even after copying it, I didn't really gain much insight into it. So it's up to you to explore the secrets inside it." Shirou continued.

Izuku nodded determinedly at that, "I plan to senpai!"

"Good! And don't worry about anything, just ask me for any help if you need it. I'm the senpai here after all."

"Of course! I'll keep it in mind!"

"Oh, there you two are!" Momo suddenly appeared, making both of them look at her in slight surprise. "I've been searching for you two."

"Was it that hard to find us? Sorry, I should have waited for you in front of the gym." Izuku apologized as he stood back up and away from the ledge. Feeling a bit guilty for making Momo search around for them.

Momo shook her head at that with a small smile, "No no it's fine, I should have hurried anyways." Part of her can't help but find the idea romantic, but that was probably her obsession with romance novels talking. "So what should we do today Emiya-senpai?"

Shirou blinked himself out of his stupor, he was a bit distracted when he saw Momo. He might need to send the support department a letter with some questions and suggestions for Momo's costume. She looks cold and frankly the bookshelf behind her was more likely to break her back if she fell on it.

But for now, he has juniors to teach. He'll send that letter right after he finishes with them.

"Well, today I'm planning for a few things. Midoriya! I'll be helping you hone your fighting style. Yaoyorozu, I think I can help you with making you create things faster with your quirk. Does that sound good to both of you?"

"Yes, senpai!"

"Great! Come on, we'll start with you first Yaoyorozu."

Momo stood straight when Shirou focused on her, he then pulled out a written piece of paper and handed it to her.

Momo blinked as she took it, "What's this?"

"That is what I called The Seven Steps Of Tracing. Whenever I project anything that I have recorded, I usually follow these steps. It helps a lot for me to create anything faster." Shirou revealed, making Momo read it aloud.

"Judging the concept of creation, hypothesizing the basic structure, duplicating the composition material, imitating the skill of its making, sympathizing with the experience of its growth, reproducing the accumulated years, excelling every manufacturing process?!" Momo's eyes widened as she kept on reading. "You had to consider its history when making it?" She asked with incredulity in her tone.

"Yeah, when I record an object it records every single physical info about it. It became a bit complicated when it comes to quirks though. I still gain the history but sometimes a few quirks can make things…blurry." Shirou explained, the last part spoken after giving a short glance towards Izuku.

One For All didn't really give him much in terms of the history of the quirk, it only gave him its power but not much insight into it. His theory about the quirk having some sort of sapience inside it was getting more real the more thought he put into it.

"I see, but isn't this a bit more complicated? The only thing I have to worry about in my quirk is remembering the composition of the materials." Momo asked, making Shirou hum as he took back the paper.

"True, that's why I was planning to change some of the steps a bit to fit you better," Shirou said before he projected a pencil, putting some customizations into the steps.

"Here, I've limited it to just four and made a bit of a change to one of the steps. Judging the concept of creation, hypothesizing the basic structure, creating the composition material, and finally excelling in every manufacturing process. The first and second steps would be creating an image of the item you are trying to create, the third step would be filling that image with the chosen material, and the last one would allow you to make sure the item is high quality in nature. Seems pretty simple right?" Shirou gave the paper back to her.

Momo hummed as she read through the new steps, "To be honest Emiya-senpai, I can't really see how this might help me. I can see myself using my quirk faster but I'm not sure how just simple training can't help me with it." Momo pointed out, worry and a bit of confusion can be heard in her tone.

Shirou didn't seem to find it surprising, "I guess I should have expected that, but really there's another benefit to this. These steps don't just help you create things faster, but also allow you to make some customizations to your creations pretty easily."

"Customizations?" She asked.

"Yes, customizations. The first and second step literally allows you to make a mental blueprint of the item you are trying to make. The first step is establishing the basic concept of what you are creating. For example, you are making a sword. It needs to be able to stab and slash effectively." Shirou explained, making Momo nod as she was following so far.

"Then came the second step, which allows you to create a basic structure for it. Of course, you can either make a simple sword or you can make a more unique one with a different kind of handle. Maybe you can make the blade one-sided or double-sided. Or you can even immediately think of a spear instead of a sword since both still have the same concept but one of them has the longer reach."

Momo nodded at that, "So the second step can allow me to make some additions to the established concept, is what you're saying right?"

Shirou nodded, "Correct! It's like adding a rocket to a hammer to give more power to it. Be more creative with your blueprint while making sure it fits the situation. The third step is largely the same but in a different manner, instead of using the same basic material, you use a far more suitable material for the item you are trying to make. Like using carbon nanotubes for weapons."

Momo widened her eyes at that, "Wait, you mean to use expensive materials for my creations?"

"Yaoyorozu, you don't have to worry about the material cost because you can literally make them yourself. Because of that, you can literally use some of the better materials for any of your creations as long you have the lipids for it." Shirou explained.

Momo nodded at that, her own mind starting to see what these steps actually represent.

"And the final step is just you making sure that your creation actually came out alright and is of proper quality. I suggest taking some lessons about metalwork or anything similar as it might help you with the creation process."

"Will do," Momo nodded, making a mental note to get some new reading material. "Still, I can see it now. These steps aren't just simple steps, they are a concrete template for my creations. It serves not just as a guide but also as a way for me to improve them. How did you even come up with this?" She asked with awe in her tone.

Shirou however just shrugged, "It isn't really just me, Rin helped me a bit with the steps when I came up with it. I might not look like it but I'm good with the technical stuff too. Though usually, Rin handles those kinds of matters." He admitted with a sheepish smile.

Momo nodded at that, "I see, despite how she acts she can really be reliable huh?"

Shirou chuckled at that, "Yeah, your class caught her on a bad day yesterday. Aizawa being there and your classmate making the situation worse doesn't help things at all, but she does have her soft side."

"If you say so," Momo muttered unconvinced, but then again she did actually help deal with Bakugo so there might be some truth to his words. Besides, from the short time they had interacted Emiya doesn't really strike her as the type to lie.

Shirou merely smiles helplessly at her words, well it's up to Rin to prove his words. He can only defend her actions for so long after all.

"Now then Midoriya– eh?" Shirou gasped in confusion.

The cause of his confusion was that Midoriya was busy in his muttering storm as he continued writing on his notes. However, his muttering was so quiet and indiscernible that it was kinda hard to know what he was talking about. That must be why both he and Momo didn't notice him.

Shirou snapped his fingers right in front, "Midoriya!" he called out, snapping the verdette out of his reverie.

"Yes?!" Midoriya answered before blinking in confusion at the concerned look or amused in Momo's case, they were sending his way. "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong, it's ok to get lost in thoughts sometimes but try to focus alright?" Shirou advised kindly, making him nod sheepishly.

"Sorry, I'll try to keep it in mind." He promised before he put away his notebook. "So what do you have in mind for me?"

"I'm afraid I don't really have anything complicated, so far I was just thinking of us sparing and helping you perfect your fighting style and make it smoother," Shirou revealed with an apologetic grin.

Izuku just shook his head while giving him an encouraging smile, "No, just that is already enough! I already gained quite a bit from our fight yesterday, I'd be happy if you could help me more with it."

"Well, then I'll try my best." Shirou smiled, "Alright Yaoyorozu, you can start practicing while we spar on the side."

"Alright senpai!" Momo nodded as she went towards her own space, her mind going deep in thought.

As both Shirou and Izuku slowly made their way to their own space, Shirou wondered how the rest were doing.

[-]

Kaminari breathed, letting the flow of electricity flood his body but keeping it contained. He could feel his senses getting sharper and his muscles tensed for action. He could feel his spine tingled from the sudden spike of information.

"Yes Kaminari, breath! Let it envelop you, let it flow through you! Become one with lightning itself!" A regal voice spoke from beside, revealing the form of Luvia.

She is currently wearing a very revealing golden dress, crisscrossing ribbons makes up her dress and her leggings, allowing one to fully see the toned muscles on her and the wonderful curves on her, creating a perfect balance of a strong and beautiful body. There's also a blue skirt that was cut down the middle flowing behind her, golden feathers like platings holding the skirt to her waist akin to a belt.*

Luvia brought up one of her gloved hands, pointing towards Kaminari with great fervor in her eyes. "Now Kaminari, move, and let us see the fruits of your efforts!"

Kaminari opened his eyes as he lunged forward, heading straight towards the nearby wall of stone.

However, to outside viewers, all they saw was merely a trail of electricity.

KRAKATHOOM

The sound of crackling electricity was heard followed by an explosive burst. Looking at the source, one could see Kaminari with his fist stretched out. The wall before him was nothing more but a giant crater. Rubbles could be seen strewn around him as dust floated around.

"I..Did that?" Kaminari asked with clear disbelief in his tone.

A hand clamps down on his shoulder, making him turn around and see the grinning visage of Luvia.

"Yes, you did. But this is merely but a fraction of your true potential. If you can't control your quirk outside your body then why not use it inside instead. It was a simple concept, and yet it showed that it is the true purpose of your quirk. Of course, you can still short circuit your brain if you push it too far, but that's something you can train on." Luvia explained.

Kaminari looked down at his hands, clear disbelief and awe could be seen in his eyes.

He had always thought that he had no talent to stand out, to be out there on the front lines along with the likes of Bakugo and Midoriya. His quirk was uncontrollable. Unstable to even be used properly. It doesn't help that the drawback of his own quirk made things even more difficult.

He hasn't always made it clear, but sometimes he can't help but feel like he was a burden to his classmates. Even during the USJ and the camp attack, he can't even do anything! The very people that had helped and supported him, he couldn't do anything to help them!

Sure some of them teased him about his quirk but at least they made it clear that they meant nothing harmful about it and apologized if they had gone too far. But they had still supported and been there for him through thick and thin, the fact that he couldn't do anything to repay them has been tearing his heart from guilt.

He had thought of the idea of using a conductive disk to attract his electricity to be more precise with the help of the support department but with this, he could be stronger. He could be useful.

All this time during the school year, he had done nothing but fumble around in the dark. Trying to find a way to even make himself useful. His own teachers couldn't or won't even help him in an attempt to make him grow on his own. His own classmates couldn't be there sometimes as they were in the same position as him.

But this woman, his senior. She finally showed him a path that he had desperately tried to search for. The sheer relief and gratefulness he felt from it had caused tears to start welling up in his eyes.

"There there," Luvia patted his back, a bit surprised by the sudden show of emotions but it seems like his improvement was a huge development for him. Honestly, what did that fool of a man do with his students? "Let it all out, once you're ready, I'll show you how you can truly become lightning itself." Luvia consoled him, however, the boy shook his head.

"No, let's continue. I can still go on, just *sniff* need a bit of a breather." Kaminari spoke, sniffing a bit as he wiped his tears away. His eyes hardened as he gazed unto her.

The woman herself smirked, "Very well then, we'll continue. But I'll be keeping a close eye on you. So if I say it's over, it's over. Understood?"

"Yes, senpai!" Kaminari nodded.

"Well then, I'll be checking on your friend. I'll come back to you in a few minutes." Luvia informed him, making him nod.

Kaminari looked back down at his hands as Luvia made her way to his other classmate, letting his quirk activate and electricity flow through him. Emotions start to well up inside his chest, but this time he did not deny it.

"LET'S GOOOOOO!" He screamed as electricity crackled around him.

'I will become stronger!'

Luvia smirked as she heard his scream, guessing the boy was letting his emotions out.

"Is he always like that?" Luvia asked.

"Not really, he usually handles things pretty well. Though I guess his progression means a lot to him." The stoic voice of Shoto replied.

Luvia nodded at that, storing that info for later. "So what about you? Did you finally figure it out?"

Shoto hummed as he activated his quirk, ice starting to sprout from his right side as flames flickered around his left. "Still not sure what you mean about achieving balance but…I think I'm starting to get it."

"Hoo? Then why don't you enlighten me? Tell me what you have understood." Luvia requested with an inquisitive smile.

"You told me to find balance, to…fuse my inner fire and ice together. I think you meant that I need to find the perfect balance on how to use both."

Luvia nodded, "Exactly, your quirks are part of you. They are just another part of your muscle that you need to train so to speak. But just a simple balance is not what I'm aiming for with you, no. I need you to become the elements themselves. Learn how to control it to the point it becomes as simple as breathing."

Shoto looked down at his hands, one burning while the other had pieces of ice sprouting from them. "How do I even do that?" He asked with a slightly befuddled look.

Luvia merely smirked, "The first step to achieving balance is understanding. Immerse yourself in it, expose yourself to the element, and try to understand it. It's feeling, it's power, it's might! Take it all in! Once you fully delve deep into that feeling, can you finally start to understand it."

Shoto narrowed his eyes in thought slightly before closing them, shutting off his senses to the outside world and focusing on the inside.

'Breathe' He chanted.

He could feel his left side burn with power, the feeling of fire flooding one-half of his body. He could feel it react to his emotions. His anger, his frustrations, his joy, his everything.

'Breathe'

His right side was the complete opposite, it was cold and unfeeling. Everything feels numb as if nothing mattered. Yet there was a sense of certainty to it. It responds to logic, to thoughts, to his own mind.

His senpai told him to find a balance between them, maybe this was it?

He slowly tries to start to immerse himself deeper into it, there must be something more than just emotions and logic that was tied to his quirk. He could feel it, he was close but not there yet.

Luvia smiled as she saw Shoto completely shutting off the outside world and focusing on himself. The ice around him started to turn into a deeper blue while blue flames started to flicker around him.

She had already read his file, as their class had been given a small file of the students they were assigned in order to understand them better. Well, the bare basics they needed anyway, Nezu was not that crazy to give the full history of their juniors to some students.

A child of Endeavor, a hero with one of the strongest fire quirks ever recorded with a mother who had a decent ice quirk. Even from afar, she could see that the boy might have been a product of a quirk marriage. But then again, Endeavor himself was an enigma. He was a competent hero that's for sure but his attitude made it hard to approach him.

But oh well, it is not her place to delve into their private lives. Her current objective is to train her little juniors. The reason why Shoto and Kaminari were assigned to her was because of her experience with elemental-based quirks.

Her Quirk, Gem Element, allows her to create and manipulate gems. But of course, there is more to it than that. Each type of gem she created has a certain element attached to it. Allowing her to generate and manipulate those elements with the gem as the main medium.

She looked down at her left hand, her eyes trained on the ring around her middle finger. The ring itself looks rather simple yet intricate. A golden ring with intricate carvings of vines around it until it formed a heart. Inside it was a heart-shaped ruby, within the carvings also contained gems of multiple kinds. Creating a kaleidoscope of colors in certain lighting.

Luvia smiled tenderly as she caressed her ring, she still remembered how she had gained it like it was yesterday. It was back during her first year, she was still struggling with control over her own quirk. Her own sensei at the time, Aizawa was of no help like always. Forcing her to figure it out all on her own.

At the time she had accepted her situation, feeling like it was just another challenge she had to overcome. But she can still remember how hopeless she had felt at the time.

But then that person came into her life.

Emiya Shirou was just a classmate that was close to her rival Rin. She did not pay him much mind until he took it to himself to help her after seeing her struggling all on her own. It started out small, copying her quirk to look at it from another angle. Giving some tips and using them like her to look where she might have gone wrong, the simple act led to them getting closer and closer.

Then it all culminated after the Sports Festival, as a congratulation gift for achieving third place he had given her a ring. The ring itself helped her focus to use her quirk better. Of course after a few months she probably never needed it, but the sentimental feeling behind it led her to keep it.

She still remembered how grateful and thankful she had felt when he came into her life, aiding and helping her improve while being there for her through thick and thin. She then looked toward the students that were assigned to her.

She'll strive to be a good teacher for these two, she doesn't want them to go on feeling helpless and clueless like she used to. If not for herself, then for Shirou. The man who had shown her the way.

[-]

Shoji, Ochako, and Jirou stood next to each other, looking at their seniors with a bit of a nervous expression.

Fuwa snickered to herself when she saw this, she was currently wearing her hero costume. She was currently wearing a white jacket with a black shirt underneath. There were pink linings around the jacket that also highlighted the protective paddings around it. She wore black pants with black boots along with a white belt. There were also some vents around her arms, shoulder, and legs, probably for her quirk.

"Relax you three, we're not gonna eat you y'know?" Fuwa tried calming them down, however, the three students seemed a bit unconvinced.

The reason for such a reaction was because of the presence of Tohsaka Rin. The woman had become quite an intimidating figure towards 1-A after all.

Rin was currently wearing a shoulderless red dress with black lining, black strings could be seen attached to her choker and tied to her sleeves that reach to the side of her shoulder. The dress itself was attached to a black skirt. Red fur could be seen around her waist that was attached to the red coat that was split down the middle as it cascaded past her knees. Revealed her long legs that were contained within her red leggings. If Luvia's outfit was said to look like a goddess then Rin's would be a noble princess from a fantasy story.*

Rin just smiled a bit helplessly at them, "I'm not that scary am I?"

"You totally are."

"Yep."

"Sorry senpai."

The answers from the three made Rin slump in defeat, and it seemed like she screwed up the first introduction.

"I guess I should have expected that, but really I do apologize if I come across like that." Rin apologized, smiling sheepishly at them.

The three students look at each other in slight surprise before nodding, accepting her apology.

Fuwa clapped her hands together, "Well then, I guess we should introduce ourselves. I'll start first, my name is Fuwa Mawata. My hero name is The Hero of Mischief, Discord and my quirk is called Mad Mist!"

"Mad Mist?" Ochako tilted her head in confusion.

"It's called that because I can emit pink cloud-like gasses that can make you a little cuckoo," Fuwa revealed with a snicker, remembering how much fun she had with it back in kindergarten. "In return though, the people that breathed it in will have a lot more physical power and have a slight boost to their quirks. But the gas also makes them very obedient towards me, so it's pretty nifty."

The three students gasped as they heard that, "That sounds like a pretty powerful quirk. You just need to have them breathe in your gas and it would be easy."

Fuwa nodded at that, "Yep! But that's the thing, they need to breathe it in first and with how obvious my gas looks, it's easier said than done." She sighed as she held up her hand, pink cloud-like gas started to float out of it. "There's also the fact that anyone with sufficient mental strength can resist my commands to a certain point, so I need to be careful with how I use it or we'll have a crazed opponent on our hands."

Both Rin and Fuwa shivered as they remembered a specific incident, both Fuwa and Artoria had gotten into a fight once and Fuwa had used her quirk on her to shut her up. Suffice to say, the school had to evacuate the cafeteria and she had taken Shirou as her personal chef (read; hostage).

Shirou had not made them any food for a few days after that incident.

The trio sweatdropped at their reaction, what had caused them to be this cautious?

"Well, that's all about me. Your turn Tohsaka."

"Right, the name is Tohsaka Rin. My hero name is The Kaleid Hero Ruby. My quirk is rather simple, I call it Gem Status. I can create and manipulate any type of gem, but each of these gems can give a certain status effect. Whether they are good or bad is a different question." She introduced herself.

"Status effect? Like those in games?" Jirou asked.

Rin nodded with a smile, "Yep! Like the ones in a game! It's pretty useful."

"Too bad your skills in status don't transfer over to actual games 'Miss Analog'." Fuwa snickered, remembering how much trouble Rin has with technology.

"You! Shut!" Rin ordered with a flustered expression, making the trio chuckle sheepishly.

"So! Both of us had read your profiles already." Rin continued on, ignoring their chuckles. "All three of you had been assigned to us since they think our quirks are similar enough for both of us to help you with it. Or maybe they just toss a dice and decide with it, knowing that hardass I won't be surprised by it." She sighed.

Shoji tilted his head at that, "Isn't that a bit much? I mean Aizawa-sensei doesn't really strike me as the type to skip out on work like that." He tried pointing it out.

"Yeah, he always goes on and on about being efficient and all," Jirou added, though her expression makes it clear that she was a bit hesitant in praising her teacher.

Fuwa smirked as she saw Rin sigh, "I guess you three haven't realized it then." Fuwa smiled.

"Realized what?" Ochako asked.

"That man that taught you currently are one of the most annoying people to deal with in my personal opinion." Rin began.

"More annoying than Luvia?" Fuwa added with a sly smirk.

"More annoying than her yes!" Rin nodded, making Fuwa laugh a bit while the trio blinked. Guess she really doesn't like Luvia that much.

"You don't really like her huh?" Jirou asked.

Rin however shook her head, "I won't say that. I find her annoying sometimes, yes but I do respect her. Both of our families go way back since one of her ancestors married into my family. Because of that, some of our quirks tend to be similar in some aspects."

Ochako perked up at that, "So both of you have this generational rivalry? That sounds so cool!"

Rin was a bit put off guard by the sudden praise but tried to wave it off. "I guess you could say that."

"Come on Class rep! Your little juniors are praising you, be a little more graceful about it." Fuwa teased with a shit-eating grin.

"I swear to god Fuwa I will smack you." Came the instant reply, making all four laugh. "But yes I don't really like Aizawa, that man is a hypocrite."

Shoji raised an eyebrow at that, "How so?"

"He talks about being competent yet he barely even taught us anything other than the bare bones and forced us to figure it out ourselves. He wants us to be great heroes yet the moment he saw all of us not meeting his high standards, he immediately expelled us before re-enrolling us to teach us 'humility'. He constantly lied to us in a so-called attempt to make us better and frankly that man is an asshole." Rin listed out, her expression making the distaste of Aizawa clear for all to see.

Fuwa was amused at the side, clearly enjoying how much Rin was venting here. She herself was aware of how much Aizawa had screwed up with their class but she was mostly enjoying the normally unflappable Class President losing herself to anger slightly. Normally she always sees it when she is with Shirou so this was a welcome surprise.

The trio of students on the other hand was trying their best not to flinch at her words, some of her points hit far too close to home for comfort.

Rin raised an eyebrow at their expressions, "Guess it was the same with you huh?"

"Well, he did lie to us a lot, and well, it was kinda frightening whenever he entered the class," Shoji added.

"It's like you're just waiting for another one of his 'Logical ruses'," Jirou spoke, discomfort clear in her posture.

Rin sighed as she heard, "Goddammit, and here I thought he would be better with the next batch."

Fuwa however tapped her shoulder, "Well at least we're here to help them now, we'll deal with Aizawa later."

"Right, now then. I'm not sure how effective this training would be so I'll be changing things as I go. But by the end of this, I'm planning to turn all three of you into monsters of your own right. Understand?"

The trio nodded as they stood straighter, seeing the determination in both of their seniors' eyes.

"Yes!"

Artoria stood there with a sigh, looking towards the students that were assigned to her with a barely resigned expression.

She was currently in a slightly armored suit. There was a silver chest plate that covered her chest to her abdomen. She also wore a gauntlet that reached up to her elbows on her left arm. Beneath the armor, she wore a blue dress with a waistcoat attached to it. Fur covers the side of her waist and one of her shoulders as plates hold them in place. Lastly, she also wore silver armored boots.

She looks like a knight from a fairy tale.

The source of her current predicament was the students in front of her.

Bakugo Katsuki growled to himself while Tokoyami seemed content with just ignoring his classmate and staying quiet. Both are in their hero costumes at the moment.

Artoria can't help but sighed, put her with the problematic kid, why not? Shirou was the expert dealing with these kinds of things, so why was she assigned to Bakugo?

Artoria then decided to just suck it up, who knows maybe she can help shape him up. Though considering how hard he was glaring at her, that might be an uphill battle.

"Well then, I'll introduce myself. My name is Artoria Pendragon, my hero name is The Hero Of The Blade, Saber." She introduced.

Tokoyami tilted his head at that, "I heard Emiya-senpai called you Saber as well. Both of you seemed rather close." He pointed out curiously.

Artoria smiled tenderly as she nodded, "Indeed, one of my family members had decided to raise me in Japan. I had gone to the same preschool as him, we've been close friends ever since we met."

Tokoyami nodded, "I see, so both of you are childhood friends then?"

"You could say that. The reason he calls me Saber was because I had the tendency to go with swords whenever we played around, that's how I got that nickname." She smiled as she reminisced on the simpler days. Where her only worry was getting Shirou to play with her and maybe see him learn how to cook.

She was proud to say that she personally experienced how he rose to the great chef he was today.

"A tale that soothes the heart. I find it very hopeful." Tokoyami nodded, Dark shadow then suddenly appeared behind him.

"He means he finds it wholesome."

"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami sputtered.

"What? You gotta be more direct sometimes, Fumi." The construct chided, making the goth huffed. Much to Artoria's amusement. It seems like she has nothing to worry about with this boy.

Bakugo clicked his tongue at the interaction, "Yeah yeah can we do this already? You! Your quirk is the one that red bastard used, didn't he?" He demanded.

Artoria narrowed his eyes, "While true I suggest you watch your words. Respect is something that's not can be easily given with that attitude."

Bakugo doesn't seem to care, however, "Yeah yeah, but what I'm interested in is you! That red bastard used your quirk! The number one in Sports Festival last year! That means he was just leeching off you! If I beat you then that guy is toast!" He raved with explosions crackling around his palms, making Tokoyami sigh at his behavior.

Artoria scoffed as she heard that, making Bakugo even more pissed. "What are you scoffing at, you elite blondie! Don't you look down on me!"

"There's nothing to look down upon when all I see is already trash in the first place." Artoria retorted with a cold look.

"What did you say?!"

"Know this Bakugo Katsuki. I might have gained first place, yes, but that was because of certain circumstances that forced Shirou to rely only on his own quirk. It was a…challenge issued by the principal. To see how far he could go with just merely his quirk alone, and he did not disappoint as he gained second place." She revealed, making both students widen their eyes at that.

"This year, the same challenge was issued again to him. And with great difficulty, he gained first place. That's why we call him the strongest of our class, even without using other quirks he was still able to keep up and defeat us. The person that you called a leech managed to surpass and defeat me. So tell me Bakugo Katsuki, as a person that has lost to a leech, what does that make you?"

The explosive blond gritted his teeth in anger, his pride wounded yet no words could be spoken. What could he even say when she had thrown his words back at him?

Tokoyami stood at the side, smiling in slight amusement. He sees nothing wrong with the situation as Bakugo himself had been quite the pain in the ass to handle throughout the school year, his classmates and himself could do nothing about it as his abrasive nature and sheer skill with his quirk had made them bare with it. It doesn't even help that Aizawa had done nothing about it.

"Nevertheless, I'm not here to berate you. I'm here to train you." Artoria continued on, uncaring of Bakugo's reaction to her words at the moment. If he can't accept that there are people stronger than him, then that's something he needs to handle on his own. "As you've seen before, my quirk is rather powerful. Some had even speculated I could match All Might once I've reached my prime. But frankly, I don't really care much about it. Even if I could reach All Might's level of power, it means nothing if I can't use it properly."

Artoria then looked towards them with a determined look, "As you've known, my quirk is called Vital Burst. My body can now generate an obscene amount of 'Vitality', after a certain point it starts to manifest as energy." She held up her hand, allowing golden energy to seep out of it. The energy trailing into the air before dispersing into golden particles. "The main drawback with it is control. Thanks to how much energy there is inside me, controlling all of them to a minute precise detail had all become nearly impossible." She sighed, there's also the fact that puberty had also hit her like a truck when she reached the appropriate age.

She can still remember how weird it felt to have your body grow more…developed practically overnight. Her sense of balance had been screwed over and it took a whole week for her to get used to it.

Shirou's reaction to it however was still something she treasured in her memories.

"You said it was nearly impossible, which means you had found a way." Tokoyami brought up, looking at her expectantly.

Artoria nodded, "I do. Just because I can't control it precisely, doesn't mean I don't have other ways to use it. By focusing on the energy and letting it out in bursts, I was able to use it to increase my physical ability to heightened levels. It's similar to a jet burst from what I had understood."

Tokoyami nodded at that, "Makes sense."

Artoria then steeled her eyes as she gazed at both of them, "Now then, both of you had been assigned to me for a reason. Bakugo, you managed to turn a simple quirk into something devastating from what I've heard. I can help you refine your techniques even further. Tokoyami, I'll be teaching you swordplay. Dark Shadow is a powerful weapon as it is a reliable defense. Using its claws as a sword and shield would help you more in close quarters combat. Is this alright with both of you?"

"Yes."

"Let's just get on with it!"

Artoria nodded at their reply, she will turn these two into skilled heroes by the end of this.

The day continued on and finally, it was over, the students of 1-A made their way back to the dorms with tired expressions. Some of them could be seen going back home with a few soots and winces on their steps.

Their seniors did not hold back on them, constantly pushing them to their limits as they gave their insights on their skills and techniques to help them improve them. Suffice to say, even with the tiredness the class had gone back with a lighter atmosphere. Hopeful and confident that the training would improve them by leaps and bounds. A feeling that was slightly foreign to them.

"Man, they really run us through the ground huh?" Sero sighed as he rolled his shoulder, trying to loosen it up.

"Yeah, but I can feel myself improving! They were pretty strict though!" Mina added.

"Luvia-senpai helped me a lot with my quirk, I still don't understand what she means by being one with lightning but I think I'm figuring it out," Kaminari spoke while looking down on his hand, a few of his friends realizing how the air around seemed to be different now. As if he had found something that he was always searching for. A strange sense of peace and hope.

Right beside him, Shoto nodded in agreement.

"Tohsaka-senpai was pretty scary at first but she was actually pretty cool! She's like one of those perfect students you always see in anime!" Ochako gushed, her eyes sparkling as she remembered their session with her.

Jirou nodded at that, "Yeah, Fuwa-senpai was also pretty cool. She messes around with Tohsaka-senpai a lot though." She snickered, remembering how she managed to make Tohsaka lose her cool a few times.

"Artoria-senpai had shown me the path of the Knight, I shall try my best to live up to her expectations," Tokoyami spoke while Dark shadow nodded beside him.

"Yeah! She even got Fumi here revved up to be a proper knight!"

"Dark Shadow!"

"What? You gotta admit, being the Black Knight we always see in stories sounds pretty tempting."

"Hah! Would fit the whole broody and edgy thing you have going on," Sero teased, making Tokoyami glare at him lightly.

"I'd rather not take fashion advice from the person that turns his costume into a literal tape dispenser thank you." He retorted, making everyone laugh.

"Oof!"

"Damn he got you good."

"Todoroki, make some ice for this poor bastard!"

While everyone was laughing and having a generally good time with each other, Izuku was at the back looking down in thought. At the side, both Yaoyorozu and Ochako noticed his silence.

"Something on your mind Deku-kun?" Ochako asked curiously.

Izuku perked up at that, "Ah right! Nothing much really, just trying to figure out why our senpais quirks are all so strong. From what I heard from the rest, it's on another level entirely." Izuku wondered.

Momo cupped her chin as she considered it, "I've heard some studies that say quirks would get stronger after every generation, maybe their ancestors are one of the first people that had gained quirks and by the time they were born, it had affected how strong their quirks would be."

Izuku nodded at that, "Yeah I had thought so too, I think I've heard of said study. Quirk Singularity Theory right?"

Momo nodded, "Yes, it wasn't received well back when it was published but with multiple evidence pointing towards it, I guess it's no longer a theory now."

Ochako sighed at that, "Man imagine having such a strong quirk, it must have made their lives pretty easy."

Izuku shook his head at that, "Maybe so. But I think it would put a lot of expectations on their shoulders. Imagine having all that power, the level of responsibility you would need to bear would also mirror the power you held. That's not even adding on how hard it would be to control that power, the chance that you could hurt yourself and others on accident would be even higher." Izuku looks down at his hand, remembering the weight that One For All had put on him.

With All For One revealed to still be alive, it's now up to him to stop that man. One For All was created to stop the Symbol Of Evil and become the pillar of hope for society. The burden that he carries felt heavy, suffocating even on the worst of days. His own insecurities gnaw at him as he was reminded of all his fears. Thoughts plaguing his mind at night on how everything feels too much to bear at times, how he felt like the lonely quirkless kid would screw it up and let everyone down.

"Just ask me for any help if you need it. I'm the senpai here after all."

Izuku blinked as his senpai's offer came to mind, he had agreed to it out of politeness at first but now he's starting to think about it. He's one of the few people that he could tell everything about. He already knows about One For all after all and he's pretty strong. All Might can help but even he can admit that sometimes the man is rather confusing with his advice. He can contact Gran Torino but the old man might force him to figure things out himself.

Out of all of them, Shirou is the only person that he could seem to talk to about his problems.

"Deku-kun?" A tap on his shoulder snapped him out of his reverie, looking towards the source he could see both Momo and Ochako looking at him worriedly.

"You ok Midoriya? You've been silent for a while." Momo asked with a worried look.

Midoriya shook their worry away with a practiced smile, "It's fine. Was just deep in thought really."

Ochako nodded but she did seem hesitant about it, Momo on the other hand narrowed her eyes slightly when she saw his smile. It looked too familiar to the way her own parents had smiled when they needed to handle problematic business partners.

"Midoriya! Yaoyorozu!" A familiar voice called out, making the whole class stop and look towards the source.

There Shirou stood before them while in his school uniform, "Wait up! I forgot something to tell you two."

Both of them blink at that, looking at him curiously. "What is it, Emiya-senpai?" Izuku asked curiously.

"Well it's a little challenge really but I think the reward would be pretty good for both of you," Shirou explained.

"What kind of challenge?" Momo asked.

"A pretty simple one. Yaoyorozu, you need to master those steps I've given you within the week. Midoriya, perfect your fighting style within the week as well."

Both of them widened their eyes at that, "A week?!"

"I'm not an expert on this but mastering a fighting style within a week sounds pretty difficult." Jirou pointed out with some worry in her tone.

"Oh it is, but these two can do it. I'm sure of it." Shirou nodded with a clear confidence in his tone. Making both of his apprentices stand a bit straighter.

"What kind of reward are you even planning here? It better be good." Jirou demanded to know, her worry towards both of her friends showing. He might be their senpai but his expectations are almost borderline ridiculous!

"Well the reward itself would make sure that Yaoyorozu here would no longer need to worry about a lack of lipids. While Midoriya here would have access to all of his quirk's power without worrying about breaking himself. Up to a certain point of course, but it would benefit them a lot."

The whole class gasped at that while both Izuku's and Momo's eyes hardened, the whole class knew just how debilitating Momo's drawback was. That's why she needed to watch what she was creating. If she can get rid of her need to be mindful of her lipids, she could be even more creative with what she needs to make.

Izuku on the other hand is already self-explanatory, they had seen how much power he wields during his fight with Todoroki back at the Sports Festival. The idea that he could use all of it without breaking his body would put him on another level entirely. Not even the most talented among them could reach him by that point.

Bakugo gritted his teeth as he realized this. If Deku gained that kind of power then he would be nothing more than a stepping stone to the nerd.

His already wounded pride tore even more at the mere thought of it.

"Fuck kind of technique that could give you that kind of control?!" Bakugo demanded to know, glaring towards Shirou with a heated glare.

Shirou looked over at him, "Ah, you're that Bakugo kid from yesterday. Saber was assigned to you, huh? Well afraid I can't really tell you. The fact I'm even offering to teach it to both Yaoyorozu and Midoriya is already pretty risky." He smiled sheepishly, making both of his apprentices look at him worriedly.

"Then should you even teach us this? If it's something that you shouldn't then we shouldn't trouble you for it." Momo said.

Shirou just shook his head, "No, there's nothing to worry about. I think I can smooth things over, maybe."

The technique itself was something from his stepmother's side of the family after all, but then again Irisviel is a bit of an enigma and has a habit of spoiling her kids. He could ask her about it first, he was sure he can convince her if he begs for it.

If lowering his head means helping his underclassmen become better heroes then so be it.

Both of them look at each other hesitantly before nodding, deciding to trust him on it.

"Alright then senpai, we'll trust you on it. We'll do our best to complete this challenge." Izuku nodded with a determined look, something that was mirrored by the heiress beside him.

Shirou grinned at that before he turned around, "Well then, that's all I needed to say anyway so I won't hold you up. I'll get going then. Good luck you two and I'll see you tomorrow!"

He waved before he went back towards where he went, the rest of the class could see Luvia, Artoria, and Rin waiting for him as he walked away.

"Yaomomo, can you really do it?" Jirou asked her worryingly.

"It's not a matter if I can or can't Jirou, I need to succeed. If there is such a technique and Emiya-senpai is risking a lot to teach it to us, then it's proper that I live up to the expectations he set on us." Momo replied with a determined look. "Besides, all I need to do is apply some simple steps that I already understand. It's not as hard as memorizing multiple chemical components. But I do worry for Midoriya…" Momo looked towards the verdette, something that was mirrored by Jirou.

There Izuku had already moved past his classmates and rushed back towards the dorms, a faint sense of determination and seriousness could be felt in him as he hurried. Most of their classmates are looking at him with worry, Ochako and Iida most of all as they are the closest to him.

"Is he gonna be ok?" Jirou asked with worry in her tone.

"I had to take some martial arts lessons once, it's how I managed to get so skilled with a staff. Learning a whole new fighting style is much harder than it seems." Momo spoke, looking at the retreating form of Izuku with worry in her eyes. "I feel slight pity for him, his quirk is problematic and caused a lot of pain to him. Now with something that could fix it dangled in front of him, he needs to do the impossible to obtain it."

"Is there nothing we could do to help?" Jirou asked.

Momo shook her head, "Even if there was, I don't think he would accept it. This is something that was challenged to him, knowing him, he would pull it off somehow." Momo smiled a bit sardonically.

Jirou looked back towards Midoriya, slight frustration could be seen in her features. Part of her starts to realize how tough the guy has been having it. Bakugo targeting him most of the time whenever he's angry, a quirk that destroys your body with each careless use, and unhelpful teachers were the few things that come to her mind. No wonder his nerves were so jittery, with how problematic his life usually is, even she would be wary of most things.

With Bakugo, the blond scoffed when he saw the nerd rush back to the dorms. Why the fuck should he care what he does anyways. Besides, learning a whole new fighting style is going to be impossible for him anyways. There's no way he would be able to complete and master a whole new fighting style within a week.

The whole class then slowly made their way towards the dorms, the usual jovial air was now replaced with worry for their friend. Some of them wondered if they could even do anything to help the verdette.

Back with Shirou, the girls couldn't help but look at him weirdly. They already knew the challenge that Shirou had issued after all.

"I can see Yaoyorozu mastering those steps you gave her within the week but a whole new fighting style? I didn't take you for a slave driver Shirou." Rin pointed out.

"It's nothing like that Rin, Midoriya would be fine." Shirou waved it off.

"But it does seem rather odd that you gave him such a hard task, what did you have in mind?" Luvia asked.

"His fighting style was already almost complete in theory. He was taking an approach that focused more on his legs considering the injury on his arms. But I can see that it was still rather rough and he told me that he had just started using it, which means it was still in its early stages." Shirou explained.

"Ah so he already has something to work with and you merely gave him pointers and corrections." Artoria realized. "But still, he is still just starting to work on it. Mastering it within the week would still be impossible."

Shirou however smirked at that, "It should be, yet the kid improves at a rapid pace."

"Huh?" All three looked confused at that.

"I had to see it for myself to believe it but that kid, I swear it's like seeing a prodigy. The sheer rapid pace that he improves on the things he learned was just unreal." Shirou smirked broadly, "That kid is something else that's for sure."

The three looked towards Shirou with wide eyes, to hear him being so impressed by someone was quite rare.

"Is he that good?" Rin asked.

Shirou nodded, "Yeah, I'm guessing that his analysis talent that I read on his file. The kid immediately noticed any problems he encountered and immediately corrected them. As long as he has a good source to base it on, he could keep on improving at a rapid pace."

"And with you being there as a source to rely on, you think he could master it in a week?" Luvia asked as she cupped her chin in thought.

Shirou nodded, "Yep."

A short silence filled the air as the knowledge sank in. To know that they have a monster in the making in Shirou's hands was quite shocking to say the least.

Slowly Rin started to laugh, catching everyone's attention.

"Oh great, she already lost it." Luvia deadpanned.

"Rin? What's wrong?" Shirou asked with worry in his tone.

"Aahahahaha! –Phew! Nothing! It's just, I find it funny." Rin admitted.

Artoria looked confused, "What's so funny?"

"I mean think about it, of course, the quick learner would be paired with the guy that can just record everything he sees and remember it permanently." Rin chuckled, "A fucking cheat being trained by another cheat."

"I don't cheat." Shirou grounded out with a slightly annoyed expression. He still remembered how his whole class had called him a cheater when he had just recorded a whole textbook and recalled the recorded info in his mind when in an exam to search for answers.

They always told them to go Plus Ultra on everything they do. So he didn't see any problem with it. Unfortunately his classmates don't agree. Though at least they didn't tattle on the teachers.

"Shirou it's not good to lie, and yeah it is kinda funny." Artoria slowly chuckled as Luvia joined them, making Shirou slump in a slight depression.

Artoria then grabbed Shirou's hand, "Well we should hurry, it's getting late and Shirou still hasn't made dinner yet. Let's go shall we?" She asked but her eyes were clearly trained on Shirou, looking at him expectantly.

The other two girls smirked a bit exasperatedly while Shirou just smiled at her, "Yeah, let's go."

All four then hurriedly made their way to their own dorms, Artoria's hand still holding on to Shirou's as they made their way.

[-]

And done, yeah mastering a fighting style takes a while to learn. Mastering it within a week is borderline impossible. But as Shirou has pointed out, Izuku himself is another monster entirely. He literally created Shoot style in like a what? A few days after learning how to use his legs?

A good majority of the 1-A kids are monsters in their own right honestly, Momo literally memorized chemical compounds back during middle school if not earlier, and managed to use them effectively in a fight. Katsuki has his battle instincts, Shoji with his own naturally monstrous strength even without his quirk, and Ochako literally managed to master the full basics of martial arts in a damn week during her internship. They just needed a good teacher. Which just makes Aizawa's actions that much more damming for them.

Guy barely taught shit for them and all the times he does, his execution is damming for them. Sure his intentions are understandable but for god's sake just tell them straight about it instead of needing to intimidate and lie to them constantly. On one hand, yeah they're trying to be heroes. On the other, They're 15-year-old kids for fucks sake. They're still learning shit as they go.

Aizawa is a damn good hero but he's a horrible teacher. And this fic will make sure people see that clearly.

So for the costumes. I made Shirou use Muramasa's second ascension outfit. Artoria has her Lion King look minus the helmet, Rin has her Formalcraft look while Luvia has Astrea's second ascension outfit. Fuwa on the other hand is a completely original design. Tell me your thoughts on it!

Anyways, review or comment on the chapter! I'll see ya later.
