Everything ached and throbbed, especially his head. He forced his eyes opened. His vision was blurred. He tried his best to recall what happened, but his mind drew a blank. Just his head throbbing in retaliation.

He waited a minute for his vision to clear, noticing a soft green glow out the corner of his eye. Shifting his body to sit up, he hissed in pain as the palm of his hand sliced against something sharp. He lifted his hand to examine it. Their was a deep cut in his palm, that was already trying to heal.

Furrowing his brows, he glanced down to see the cause. Bright glowing green goo was spilled around him, with shards of broken glass floating on the surface. He perked up an eyebrow, confused.

Ectoplasm?.. Was he in the lab-No.. no... They were camping and-

Danny recoiled in pain, putting hand over the back of his head, as his memory warped back to him.

Plasmius had pushed him through the floor, after he had ambushed them. Danny remembered Plasmius's hands digging into his shoulders as they fell through. Then, he used the blaster he took from Jason to blast at Plasmius.

Plasmius howled in pain, but didn't let go. Instead Danny had felt a shock through his system, then was thrown down. Danny remembered his body phasing through different floors, until his head hit something hard.

His core must have tried to protect himself, reason he fell through the floors. Which now, Danny could pinpoint the achy feeling his core buzzed with. It didn't feel as painful as he thought it would be.

Danny looked at what he had landed into, carefully turning to get a better view. It was one of the capsules. The one like his dead clone was- Danny shivered as he noticed said clone in a nearby capsule. Exactly like the one.

Which meant his body had been absorbing ectoplasm the whole time he was was out. Reason he could move now. The ectoplasm that could have hosted other failed attempts-

Don't think about it Danny. Not important right now. Important.. Eyes widening, Danny jumped to his feet, immediately kneeling back over in pain. He took a deep breath and slowly stood back up, purposely absorbing the rest of the ectoplasm.

Considering where he was, Plasmius either didn't bother to check on him, or figured he was down for the count long enough to enact his plan. Which meant Danny was on a timer. At least he still hoped he was.

He closed his eyes and felt of his core with a deep breath, he needed a lot more ectoplasm to change his form. Danny frowned looking at all the capsules. The portal, if it was still accessible, was blocked by the leftover repellent. Even though the portal could counter the affect, he would have to risk it being active. He couldn't sense it through the walls.

He glanced at his clone, scrunching his face. He hated to do this, but it'll be a traumatic experience to relive for future Danny. Present Danny needed to stop Plasmius. He just hoped whatever was left of previous ectoplasmic entities, that they feel the same. Even if its just for his own sanity.

Danny charged a beam in his hand. If he could break them all in one shot, that should be enough to change into Phantom. He hoped. All he could do, was hope, as he aimed his fist.

He fired a green beam, feeling the sting of his core. All the capsules shattered one by one as the green blast went through. Danny smirked to himself with his fang poking out.

"Nightwing! Red Hood!" Tim called out after recognizing they were hit by Jason's and Dick's bodies.

Tim shifted his body, pulling himself out from under them a bit. He sat up, and gently turned each of them slightly. They were both out cold, but were still breathing. That was a relief at least. Though the burn marks on Jason's back and Dick's torso were concerning. He shook at their shoulders, in an attempt to wake them.

Damian wiggled out of the pile of bodies, having been under them all. Quickly scrambling to his feet, whipping out his sword. Ready to fight, but no one was there. He cursed keeping his eyes peeled, Wait. They were missing one.

"Jazz?!" Cassandra let out, seeing the red-head girl was no longer in the room after she pulled herself out from under her brothers. Everyone looked around trying to spot her.

Out of thin air, Plasmius appeared floating above them all. The missing red-head kicking and squirming in his arm. A smug smirk on his face, but his eyes looked wild.

"Unhand my daughter you spook!" Jack growled, throwing his fist with a glare.

"Of course-after yours turn cold and stiff! If there is anything left." Plasmius floated out of range as clones filled the room, pulling themselves from Plasmius and each other to surround them.

Tim shook harder at their shoulders. All the plans he could think of would work the best if everyone could move. Jason groaned, moving slightly. Pain racked his body. He rolled off of them, then laid flat on the ground as if that was too much effort. Tim furrowed his brows in worry. Dick still lay limp.

"Mads-"

"Almost got it Jack! Try to cut his numbers down!"

"Oh, you seem to be forgetting something Jack. Your daughter's life is in my hands. Why don't you and the brats just sit tight? Hmm?" Plasmius had a charged fist pointing at Jazz's head.

Jazz scrunched her face up in distaste. She may have loved princess stories as a kid, but there was no way she going to play the damsel in distress now. She opened her mouth and chomped hard on Plasmius's arm.

"OW! You-" Plasmius dropped her on instinct with a shake of his arm, giving Cass enough time to shoot Plasmius away from her.

"Jazz!" Jack cried running towards Jazz as she fell.

Jack tackled the ground, barely managing to catch his daughter before she landed on the ground. He fell hard onto his back with Jazz safely wrapped in his arms. Jack grunted in pain, his back making a loud cracking sound as he tried to sit up.

"Thanks Dad." Jazz smiling at Jack, who returned it with one just as gentle, patting his hand on her shoulder.

A blast shot above them clearing out the duplicates that threatened to attack while they were down. Jazz's eyes followed where the shot came from, seeing Cassandra wielding the bazooka she had earlier. She ushered them to fall back.

Jazz jumped up and then pulled her Dad up to his feet. They kept their backs to the group, as they walked backwards shooting at the duplicates that try to get close. Jazz using the Fenton Peeler that was still attached to her belt.

Damian was helping Tim wake the two oldest bat siblings. Damian peeled Dick's eyes open trying to get him to wake, even giving him a good smack or two...or five.. to the face, but he hardly stir. Damian pursed his bottom lip out with furrowed brows in concern as frustration kicked in.

Tim was doing a fair bit better, but only because Jason had already begun to stir. He still had to poke and prod him every which way to wake him. Jason finally moved again trying to shoo Tim away.

"Fuck off, feels like I got beaten to death with a crowbar..."

"We're about to all experience death if you don't get up."

Jason furrowed his brows as he let that sink in. Then he snapped eyes open, pushing himself up and only to recoil from the pain. He slowly raised his head, glancing between Tim and Damian, then landed his eyes on Dick. Dick was finally making sounds of waking.

Jason gritted his teeth, glaring. His eyes snapping to the duplicates that surrounded them. That bastard. He moved to get up, ignoring Tim's 'be careful'. He stumbled to get steady footing.

The duplicates still had some holes, thanks to Cassandra and the Father Daughter duo, but he was replicating faster than they could blast. Their large weapons were beginning to overheat and the smaller guns couldn't shoot them down fast enough.

The exit was completely blocked.

Jason wanted a gun. Or a grenade be nice about now.

"RAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH FINE!" Plasmius roared as he sent a couple of electric ectoplasmic balls towards the duo, blasting them to their feet.

"I don't need you!" Plasmius sent another blast towards Jazz, Jack jumping to cover her. The blast sent Jack bouncing over his daughter and rolling back. The group having to split apart to avoid being crushed by the man.

"Dad!" Jazz glanced back worried, then aimed her arm gun at Plasmius, this time a pink beam landed on her chest making her bounce back and roll on the ground from the impact.

Tim leapt over Jack towards Jazz, checking on her while Jason checked Jack. Cassandra kept her weapon trained on Plasmius, shooting at him as he dodged her blasts.

Damian's teeth were clenched, face scrunched as he could do nothing more than watch. He could run at them with his sword, but that's if he could get close enough. Damian glanced away, as Dick was finally starting to wake.

Dick's face scrunched as he moved his limbs, the sound of screams what sent his body back into fight mode. He took it slow at first, getting on his forearms before pushing himself up to his hands and knees. His chest hurt, making it hard to breath.

"About time." Damian commented.

Dick smiled, knowing Damian was feigning indifference. He took a look around as he pushed himself off the floor. Duplicates surrounded them, some of them looking a bit off. A reminder that Plasmius was not at full strength... not making Dick feel any better about the sticky situation they were caught in.

Maddie's tongue stuck out the side of her mouth as she worked on the make shift shield. She only looked away briefly the moment her daughter and husband was attacked. Her instincts were to go over and check on them, but they needed this shield.

She was almost done. The air shift around her. Static cackling. Sweat dripped down her face, trying to maximize her time down to the seconds. Pink glowed from side of her vision, yet she was almost finished. She just needed to connect the wires. She counted down in her head as she twisted and screw the final wire in place.

Almost.. almost. Got it!- She ducked and rolled under the table to avoid the blast. The table flying up into the air, landing on the other side of the room. Flames clinging to the surface.

Maddie ran towards the group, pulling out her wrist-ray. She fired back the duplicates behind her, while doing kart-wheels to avoid the blasts. Flipping back towards the group landing right beside her daughter. However as she looked down, to pet Jazz's head, the shield was gone.

How?!-

"Weren't looking for this, were you?" Plasmius held up the device crushing it in his hands. "Oops."

They watched as the crumbled parts fell to the floor. More duplicates split from his form looking more and more disfigured.

Jason took the weapon off of Jack and fired it straight at Plasmius, destroying most of the duplicates. However it hardly mattered, as more accumulated in their place. He kept firing.

The room lit up quickly into a sea of pink, each charging their beams. Laughter echoing around them. The group inched closer, each trying to think of a way out.

"Hood! Stop, we need to shoot the-"

"Shut up!"

"But-"

"I'm going to shoot that bastard down!"

"We-"

"If we take him out, so does his little dups!" Jason kept firing trying to find the real Plasmius among the crowd. It really was there only hope as piles of duplicates blocked their exit.

Until a device dropped from the sky, landing into Tim's lap. It was the shield device like the one Batman had.

"Oi! From this day forward we're sworn enemies! Alright?! You'll fear the might of the terrible bird trio! Name in progress." One of the vultures had flown in dropping the device and quickly leaving muttering how this was not worth almost frying his feathers.

Tim blinked as he held the device in his lap, a bit puzzled by what happened. Everyone else stopping in their shooting to ponder the same. Jazz pushed to sit up, rubbing her abdomen.

"I hope they come up with a good name," she said genuinely, with a smile.

"Doesn't matter what they call themselves, ghost are not to be trusted!" Jack grunted as he pushed himself up to his knees. "But I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Everyone huddle! Women and children in the middle. If this thing goes south at least our bodies might shield them."

"Jack, I am not going to let these boys take the brunt of it." Maddie stood firmly on the outside of the group. The air became dense as the sound of static cackled.

Tim turn on the shield, encasing them all in a green dome. It pushed some of the duplicates away.

Jason cursed as his gun wouldn't shoot outside the dome, reluctantly putting it down for now. The pink lights were making it impossible to see which one was Plasmius anyways. He hated this, sitting like ducks until time come.

Dick was already trying to cover the four that were piled in the middle. Damian was pushed right next to Tim and Jazz, as Cass knelt in front of Jazz.

"I know Mads, that's what I love about you! But what about Danny and Jazz?" Jack standing up tall ready to cover.

Maddie frowned thinking for a moment, "Then we just have to hope the shield holds. Besides if it doesn't I don't think any of us will survive."

"You think they know we can hear them?" Dick asked, not liking what he just heard.

"Nope. Also they're going to kiss." Jazz stated with a frown.

Everyone scrunched their face in response, looking away from the Fenton parents. Trying to ignore them. They huddled closer as the pressure was nearing its breaking point. Readying themselves for the blast while keeping eyes firmly on the shield.

"Then I'm sure we will. Because nothing can take down the Fentons!" Jack grinned before they both shared a kiss.

A piercing whine shot through as the blasts hit the dome as a low growl echoed. The blasts were tinting everyone inside of it with every shade of pink. The power of the impact made everyone stumble in their spot.

Tim jolted feeling a spark, glancing down. The device was flashing dangerously, as sparks flew here and there. The shield was flickering and cracking.

Everyone inched closer, Jack and Maddie joining the group trying to cover them all with their bodies.

Danny carried the lifeless young version of himself over to the corner of the room. It feel wrong leaving it there. It wasn't dissolving like his other clones. It was more like a corpse-no. The body wasn't stiff. It was more like a ragdoll.. or a puppet.

Danny shivered at the thought. Exactly what Vlad wanted him to be. Just another accessory, but one he could spoil and mold into what he wanted.

Danny always had conflicted feelings about Vlad. He knew he could be good.. well maybe not good. He probably still be a crooked business man.. but he could care outside of himself.

No. The Vlad from Dan's future could. After he'd been stripped away from everything.

Either way it didn't matter, because this Vlad had crossed the line. Danny had only been lenient.. until now. Doesn't matter where or when Vlad's descent happened, or if it could have been changed. Frootloop was never going to quit, until he burned everything he ever wanted down.

Danny awkward adjusted the.. clone, so that it was curled in the corner. A brief thought passed through his head, if he overshadowed his own clone would that make him whole human or 75%? Maybe 150%? Danny shook that thought away. Not the time and it was disturbing. And it involved math.

Danny turned back to finish absorbing the remainder of the ectoplasm. He needed every drop of ectoplasm he could gather. He could fill his core hum with power. He took a deep breath, pulling on his core. Hoping it be enough.

A white ring appeared around his waist. Danny could feel the heavy tug on his core, but it wasn't painful so he kept going. The ring split apart, going opposite ways. One up and one down, revealing Danny's black hazmat suit underneath. The rings disappeared in a flash as they finished traveling Danny's body, revealing his phantom form. White hair, green eyes.

Danny put a hand over his chest, gritting his teeth. He stared at his hand, clenching it into a fist. He wasn't sure how long he could last, but it had to be long enough. He could feel the overwhelming power coming from above.

Danny leapt into the air, making sure he could fly, speeding off through the ceiling.

The air inside the dome was getting insufferably hot and thick from the heat of the blasts. The shield had shrunk significantly, growing more unstable by the second. The device was starting to burn in Tim's hand, but Tim was afraid to let it go.

An awful sound was coming from the device. It was going to blow. How long could Plasmius keep this blast up anyways?!

The pink light was dimming, but not quickly enough. As the device sputtered and bounced in Tim's hand. Everyone curled, closing their eyes, preparing for impact.

As the device sparked and died, they only briefly felt an overwhelming heat grow around them. Then everything cooled in an instant, almost feeling freezing compared to the temperature before. They stayed like that for a moment, glancing at each other, as they were all tinted in a soft green light.

"Would you call this being late or right on time?" a voice grunted with a pant.

They all turned to look at the voice seeing Danny standing in front them, exerting a shield from his palms. He was peaking behind at them, an eye glowing bright green as sweat dripped down his face.

Everyone stared stunned for a moment, before the relief started to settle in.

Dick grinned with a laugh, "Right on-"

"Late." Jason interrupted with a grin, happy to see the kid.

"Almost too late." Damian stated under his breath.

Danny smirked, with a snort.

"Phantom!" Jazz called happily smiling at him with relief, eyes watery from the near death experience. Also happy to see her little brother again.

"Phantom?!" Jack and Maddie furrowed their brows, suspiciously at the teen. "What are you doing here?"

Danny paid them no mind as he focused in on his sister. Jazz was here... The air inside the shield got significantly colder, as his expression dropped. He turned his attention back in front of him.

The blasts were getting weaker, but they weren't stopping. He swallowed a lump in his throat, trying to keep his anger down. He didn't have the strength to go all in. He had to keep it cool. Pun intended.

Danny smirked again though it held no weight to it, not that the others could see it. "Just here to make Frootloop REFLECT on his ACTIONS!"

With that Danny adjust the shield, absorbing some of the blast and sending it back onto Plasmius and his duplicates. In one attack, the shield broke apart into a glittery dust, revealing an empty room scorched from ceiling to floor. All except for a circle of tile underneath them that was shielded from the blast.

Danny let out a breath, wiping sweat from his brow. He didn't change his fighting stance, knowing Plasmius wasn't done. He could still sense him nearby.

The silence settled, hitching everyone's breaths as they waited.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHH!" A snarl howled through as Plasmius shot through the wall, trying to tackle Phantom.

Danny leapt up in the air, dodging the attack, slamming the heel of his boot down onto Plasmius's back. Plasmius twisted before hitting the ground, grabbing onto Danny's ankle. He used the momentum to roll onto his feet, swinging Danny around and up towards the ceiling. Kicking off the floor to chase after, fists glowing pink.

Danny landed on the ceiling having a brief moment to check where Plasmius was, then he rolled to dodge Plasmius's fist. He clenched his own fist, glowing green, shooting a beam to send the discount vamp towards a wall.

Plasmius flipped in the air, steam coming off of him as he rebound off the wall back at Danny. He fired two blasts, as he flew towards the boy.

Danny dodged the blasts before being punched in the gut, by Plasmius. Plasmius flying up, sending both of them through the ceiling.

The group below was left sitting in their place, staring at where the two ghosts disappeared. The Fentons were the first to break from the group, looking quite upset.

"I don't understand the obsession that ghost has with our family." Jack crossing his arms, suspiciously staring at the ceiling with a deep frown.

"At least were alive Jack." Maddie said with a relieved smile, patting his arm.

"Yeah, yeah. Bright side. Though I do hate owing our lives to a stinky ghost! If it thinks this will manipulate us into believing ghosts are good, then it has a blaster waiting for it."

"...But ...He just.. shielded us?" Tim stated, looking at the couple in disbelief, the broken device still in his hands.

The Fenton coupled looked at each other and then smiled at them sympathetically, but the implication that they were the ignorant ones were still there.

"Oh dear.. ghosts don't have morals or sentience. They're just human conscious imprinted onto ectoplasm. They don't have the capacity to feel complex or simple emotions." Maddie explained in a tone that she was keeping it simple for them, like speaking to a small child.

"Right! Plus they're evil! Only portraying emotion to gain empathy and trust of all those poor unsuspecting folk that are too gullible to know!" Jack beamed confidently.

The group of bats felt the deep sting of their words, letting it sink in that the couple was serious in their view. Dick has his hand on Jay's shoulder, trying to remind him to stay calm, but had his own whirl of emotions he was sorting through.

Tim look grim and pale. Damian's eye twitched, as he kept a cold stare. Cass clenching her fist tightly, her face blank.

"That's our parents.." Jazz muttered giving them all a weak but genuinely sympathetic smile. Reminding the group that Jazz was still there.. this was normal for them.

Maddie clapped her hands trying to get their attention, "Now let's get you kids out of here."

"Before those two ghost come back!"

...As if the bats were the ones they came to save and not the other way around.

Plasmius had sent Danny through the ceiling and all the way up to the sky above the lake. Danny spinning in the air, holding his stomach for a moment. He quickly regain composure, glaring at Plasmius who floated 20 feet away, panting.

Both of them were in bad shape, as they stared each other down. Waiting for one of them to make the first move, as the clouds blocked out the sky. Overcasting the area in a soft gray.

Danny took the first shot, sending a green blast at Plasmius, only for him to block it with a small shield that barely covered his hand. Plasmius retaliated send a few pink blasts of his own. Danny flew around them, sending another back at him.

Plasmius dodged the blast, charging his fists. "I was this close to having my revenge and you come to ruin it! And here I was offering you a home, a life outside your pathetic existence!"

Danny focused on dodging Plasmius's attacks, "We have two different opinions on what's pathetic, then. Cause to me, being a lonely billionaire that can't let go of the past kind of tops the list for me."

Plasmius growled firing a few more shots in succession, Danny having to spin and roll in the air to dodge. Almost getting hit.

"I WOULDN'T BE IF JACK DIDN'T TAKE IT ALL FROM ME! I would have kids! Maddie as a wife! But he took it all-IF you didn't have to be so stubborn! All I done-"

Danny's eyes twitched as he dodged another blast. He growled sending a blast, making Plasmius spiral back mid-speech. "No! Screw you Vlad! All you've ever done was burn every bridge you've ever crossed! You don't get to play the victim in this!"

Danny shot a few more blasts, hitting Plasmius in the chest. Making the Older halfa recoil in pain.

"You did this to yourself! No one else is here to blame! Yeah, my dad's the reason you're a ghost. But he's not the reason you're miserable!"

Plasmius growled, eyes glaring bright red, but a series of green blasts kept him from fighting back.

"You held so tightly to your bitterness that now its the only thing you know! Even if I was your son, even if mom married you, you wouldn't be happy! Because nothing will ever be enough!"

Danny panted firing blast after blast. He know he should be conserving his powers, but he couldn't stop. All his frustrations were coming out.

Plasmius dodged the blasts, grinding his teeth in anger, but unable to get a hit in. Crumpling over in pain anytime one managed to hit.

"You brag about your wealth, how much better you are, but you don't ever show it. At this point even if my parents knew and still shot at me, I be better off with them than you. You're not the better alternative!"

Plasmius's eyes snapped open at that, dodging the last blast sent by the younger halfa. Danny was panting, with sweat rolling down his face. Staring down Vlad as he straightened up matching the eye contact.

Danny tried not to show it, but the silent stare down was unsettling him. He shouldn't have gotten so wrapped up in yelling, he didn't even remember half of what he said. And now his body was reaching his limit.

"Ha.. hahahaha. Really? Is that what you think?"

Danny glared, clenching his fists tightly as Plasmius laughed at him. Plasmius had his arms over his gut as he laughed.

"I do believe you have a veil over your eyes boy. But since you have so much faith in your parents..." Plasmius faked wiping a tear from his eye, grinning with his fangs on full display.

Danny prepared for an attack, frowning as he didn't like how that sounded. His core vibrating anxiously. Plasmius slowly turning to face Danny. The grin falling from his face as pink streaks bounced around his hands, making a crackling sound.

Danny quickly charging up the power in his fists, face scrunching up a little. Electricity. He hated it. He hoped Vlad was too low on power to do it. Really regret opening his big mouth instead of just taking him down.

"Then let's rip it off and we'll see the truth." Plasmius dived toward Danny.

Danny quickly created a shield to block the first punch, unable to dodge the attack. The shield shattered on impact. Plasmius continued to swipe at him with his electrified hands, while Danny tried to dodge them.

Danny could feel the sparks coming off of his hands. Danny needed to create distance, now. He waited for a small opening in Plasmius's attack, shooting a green beam at the older halfa.

Unfortunately, Plasmius was able to dodge the attack and then retaliate by grabbing hold of Danny's arm before he could retract it. Danny yelled as the pink electricity shocked his system, making him writhe in pain.

Plasmius then grabbed Danny's throat with his other hand, sending another shock wave through his system. Danny clawed at the hand on his throat, but wasn't able to pull it off. A white ring appearing around his waist.

"Tata, can't start the show without your parents." Plasmius chimed as dimmed the shock. The ring disappearing with a pop, as Danny glared at Plasmius.

"They'll … know about.. you too!"

"Honestly, Daniel, your parents are a laughing stock and I'm rich enough to make sure no one ever believe otherwise. Oh sorry, was I bragging about my wealth again?" Plasmius laughed, hand clasped tightly around the ghost boy's neck. His hand sparking again.

Danny glared, trying to hide his panic. Quickly trying to rack his brain. Eyes widening with an epiphany.

Plasmius took Danny's wide eye expression as fear, smirking.

-dowo'-

"There, that should do it." Maddie stepped back, looking at her handy work. They couldn't do much at the moment, but she insisted in treating Dick's burnt chest before it could get infected.

Dick poked at the makeshift bandage. The stuff the Fentons made worked quick, as now it felt like he had ice stuck to him instead of a bandage with ointment.

"Are you certain you don't want us to help? If left untreated it could-"

"Ecto-infection.. yeah. Got it. I don't want help." Jason staying far from the two, shooing them away. Jason didn't trust that the ointment couldn't hurt him.

Maddie pursed her lips, upset. As if debating on forcing her help or not. Deciding not, she sighed, slumping her shoulders in defeat. She handed the rest of ointment back to Dick.

"Well, make sure to take this home in case he changes his mind."

"Thank you, M'am." Dick handed the ointment back to Tim to pocket, keeping a polite smile.

"Can... hear.." static came through the comm.

"B?" Dick asked, each bat trying to listen into the comm.

"Re..ort."

"There's static on the line."

"Maybe Plasmius's attack disrupted signal?" Tim suggested.

The impatient grunt was not missed.

"We're fine B." Dick sighed, "Patching up."

Jason spoke lowly into the comm so the Fentons couldn't hear, "Danny's fighting Plasmius."

"Shield broke and he shielded us midway." Tim also explained in hush whisper.

"Who are they talking too?" Maddie asked looking at her husband, who shrugged.

"Batman. He crash landed and that's how they ended up helping us." Jazz explained with a sigh, the Fenton Peeler was tucked on her belt loop.

"Oh."

"Is he a ghost?" Jack asked.

"What?! No!"

"Are you sure-"

"He was bleeding red." Jazz huffed crossing her arms.

"Just making sure!" Jack smiled, ruffling his daughter's head. Jazz frowned, as her hair stuck out every which way.

A scream was heard from above, as a blur of colors passed through the ceiling. They hit the ground with a pink sparks flying off of them. Everyone having to step back to cover from being hit.

Plasmius stood up, holding Danny up by his neck.

Danny trying to pry the hand off of him, breathing heavily as he kicked his legs. Plasmius side glanced around the room, until he caught sight of Jack and Maddie. He grinned, looking back at the boy struggling in his hand.

Danny felt a surge of electricity again, making him writhe and yell in pain. Everyone stood back, watching in horror for a moment.

Jack pulled out his bazooka, and Maddie pulled out her wrist ray. Both aiming it straight at the ghosts with little care of which ghost was in their trajectory.

Plasmius purposely holding Danny up high so he can get a good look at his parents. A white ring appearing around his waist.

"Wait! Mom! Dad! don't-" Jazz waving her hands in front of them.

Danny glared, face scrunched in pain as he shakily stuck out his fist. Not at Plasmius, but towards his parents. Danny tugged on his core covering his fist in ice.

"Jazz..! MOVE!"

Jazz turned back at Danny, quickly jumping out the way. Cass helping pull her aside. Danny blasted his icy fist at his parents, sending them straight out the door, sealing it shut with thick ice.

Great. Another reason to hate Phantom added onto the list.

Plasmius stood, stunned for a moment, the electricity having stopped. Then he belt out a laugh, dropping Danny to the floor as he put his hands over his stomach.

Plasmius flying up high as he laughed, missing the combined attack of Jason and Dick who each held an escrima stick. Jason growling up at Plasmius. Dick sharing the same glare, both trying to shield the boy from Plasmius.

Tim hopped over to check on Danny, while they were staring down the laughing Plasmius.

"Don't.." Danny demanded, barely glancing up at Tim. Danny was on his hands and knees, panting heavily. The white ring danced around his waist then disappeared with a pop. The air growing cold around him.

"Stay.. back."

Tim furrowed brows confused, until he caught sight of ice forming underneath Danny. He gave a nod, slowly taking a step back.

"Can't handle the truth, can you badger?"

Plasmius laid back in the air, as if he was laying on a lounge chair, hand propping up his head. He smirked as chuckles keep escaping from him. Pissing the bats off at how relaxed the ghost was staring down at them.

"All those talks about how your parents would accept you, or how they're better then me, yet when time to reveal your little secret, you crumple." Plasmius spoke in a mocking tone, eyes fixated on Danny.

"No... Its not that." Danny replied to Plasmius, ice crawling from his form.. slowly covering the floor and walls.

"Then do enlighten me boy!" Plasmius growled annoyed as he sat up, arms crossed. Paying no heed to the ice.

The others glancing at the floor, noticing out the ice seeped under their feet without freezing them. Danny was planning something. They glanced at each other, with a subtle nod. They started to spread out, while Plasmius's attention was on Danny.

"Even if it was.. that's not why..." Danny panted, swallowing sickly feeling in his throat as he overused his powers. His core felt hot, but he needed to keep the ice going. He had to cover the room. The white ring popping in and out around his waist.

Plasmius tapped his foot in the air growing impatient. Danny took a deep breath, raising his head to match his eyes to Plasmius. Sweat dripping down his face, yet he tried to keep an intimidating glare. He demanded to be heard.

"Its MY choice to tell them. And YOU are not taking that away from me." Danny said as the ice picked up speed covering the ceiling.

Plasmius's face dropped, giving a rather disappointed and bored look. "Fine, Daniel. See it your way, but don't come crawling back to ME when they try ripping you apart.. what was it. Molecule by molecule?"

Danny frowned, lowering his head as the white ring around his waist firmly stayed in place. Plasmius snorted, seeing this as the boy resigning to his fate. He flew up, trying to phase through the ceiling, only to bonk his head against the ice. He put his hand on the ceiling, with a quirk brow. Another belted laugh coming from him.

"Do you really think this could hold me in?" Plasmius looking down at the teen, laughing as he charged his hand. "Your little ghost ice can't- AAAAAAAARGHH!"

Plasmius felt a strong blast to his back sending him face first into the ceiling, then falling down to the ground. He growled, floating back up.

Danny smirked, lifting his head slightly. Green eyes locked on Plasmius, as fangs poked out of his grin. "True... But that's only if you get a chance to melt it."

The bats all surrounded, Plasmius. Each of them branding a weapon. Jason handing the bazooka he had, back to Cass. Readying up his fist.

"You should REALLY stop looking down on people, VLAD."

Plasmius glared at the boy, but didn't have time to shoot a blast at him as Damian jumped at him with his sword, making him move to dodge.

Plasmius trying to fly up to get an advantage, but was shot back down. This time by Jazz as she had the Fenton Peeler back on, smirking. "I think my aim is improving, don't you Vlad."

Plasmius growled getting back up, fist glowing, but never getting a chance to shoot. One after the other the bats ganged up on the weak Older Halfa.

Dick hitting Plasmius with his batons, shocking him in place. Allowing Jason to get an opening to deck Plasmius across the room, towards Tim. Tim used the bat-a-rang like a brass knuckle to punch Plasmius back, then shooting him with an ecto-gun in his other hand.

Damian sliced at Plasmius as he flung his way, Plasmius trying to phase through but the sword hit him regardless. He howled, a black ring popping in an out.

Danny chuckled, watching the show as they played hot potatoe, each taking a turn blasting or hitting Plasmius. White ring wobbled and slowly split apart around his waist. Danny was fighting it, his core hurting. Ice slowly melting around them. Starting from the ceiling.

Plasmius was swung from one bat to the next. Unable to catch a moment to fight back. He couldn't charge his beam, except once, and missed. His phasing was getting sloppy, as some parts of him turned intangible and others did not, allowing the bats to keep a constant hit on him.

Dick and Damian hit Plasmius with their weapons, making him scream in pain as the black ring split apart revealing a suit then disappeared again, once the weapons stopped contact. Jason sucker punched as Tim swiped Plasmius's legs off the ground, sending Plasmius flying towards Cass and Jazz. They blasted them with their guns once he was at point blank range.

The older halfa flew back, fried and swollen as he bounced off the ground, skidding next to Danny. Plasmius rolled onto his side, in pain unable to move. Panicking he looked at Danny, begging as the bats closed in.

"Daniel! Daniel please. You know how ghostly obsessions get-I just-"

Danny just stared at Plamius, then bust out laughing. He got up on his knees as the rings around his body revealed part of his t-shirt and jeans. Slowly climbing up and down.

"Oh yeah, because that's totally how they work. How long have you been a ghost?"

Danny grinning as it was his turn to mock the older halfa. He pulled out his thermos holding it in his hands, the ice barely covering the room, slowly melting around him and Plasmius.

"OH right. 20+ years. How could I ever FORGET?" he chuckled as he spun the lid off the thermos.

Plasmius seeing the ice edging towards them, trying to crawl to the edge. Loud thumping on the exit as the solid block of ice melted. Jack's voice belting into the room.
White rings reaching to Danny's neck and ankles, as he stood up. He pointed the thermos down at Plasmius, who glanced back at Danny giving a panicked grin.

The bats crowding around the pathetic display. Each snickering.

"Daniel, Danny, please. We could go on trips around the world! You wouldn't have to go to school, even take your insuffer-friends-"

"Sorry Frootloop, I have much better use of my time then to play games with you." Danny grinned cheekily, pressing the button on the Thermos.

Plasmius frowned, as his words were shot back at him. "Touche."

In a bright light Plasmius was sucked into the thermos. The ice having fully melted around them, as Danny twisted the lid on the thermos tight. He grinned at the others shaking the thermos in his hand.

"Danny?!" his parents standing in the door way, looking stunned.

Danny's face dropped. Panic rising in his chest. Did they see him?!
