Chapter 1
There was a bright white light suddenly 48 dragons landed with a THUD on the ground, all looking shocked like they had been struck by lightning.
"Where are we?" Asked Icicle who was the first one to recover. She scanned everyone's faces and froze when her gaze landed on Queen Scarlet. "Scarlet" she hissed, and that single word made everyone go in battle positions [ excluding Jambo and Kinkajou].
_Winter's P.O.V
Queen Scarlet, here, this second, how? Weren't we at jade mountain a second ago discussing and getting to know our winglet and blah blah blah? Who are the other dragons? And in whose pala-
Someone let out a hiss from beside Winter. He turned and for a moment all his worries about Queen Scarlet vanished, there he was standing next to his brother Hailstorm as if nothing had happened. Winter couldn't hold his excitement anymore and leaped on his brother to hug him in an unlike-icewing way.
"Winter let your brother go" His father commanded. Narwal's face was emotionless.
"Now will someone explain me, where are we?" Tsunami asked/ordered.
Starflight's P.O.V
Rest of the day went in a blur. The Queens held a small meeting in the grand hall, discussing about where we are and how to go back home. Cliff son of Queen Ruby later found a stack of 10 books in the far corner of the room with a note that read
Dear dragons of Pyrrhia,
If you are reading this that means that you have arrived at Palace Fortune, which is made for all dragon tribes to live in. Rooms for Skywings are in the tallest tower on the left, Rooms for Icewings are three floors up the grand hall, Seawings have half-on land and half-in water rooms in the back of the palace, For Rainwings there is a small veranda with treehouses, the mudwings rooms are right below, in the veranda, Nightwings can have the first floor and sandwings the second.
While you are here time will remain frozen in Pyrrhia. You will be able to go home after you finish reading the books. You dragons can hunt in the forest beside the palace. Also, while reading sometimes dragons may come back from the dead.
P.S – All dragon injures, and dieses will be gone while you are there, and no dragon can get hurt by firescales, frostbreath, venom, animus magic and fire while here.
Yours truly,
Animus dragon
After that, all the dragons had decided to start the reading tomorrow and get this over with.
Currently my friends and I were talking near the main entrance of the palace.
"You know maybe the dragon who bought us here is pretty stupid to think that dragon tribes will be at peace after reading few books "Clay thought aloud "But of course I am glad that Starflight and Tamarin are able to see, even if it is for a limited time."
Starflight smiled at his friend.
"Speaking of Tamarin, I need to check on the other rainwings and nightwings "Glory said "see you later." And with that she flew off towards the veranda.
Soon later Clay's siblings came, and they all went hunting. Sunny went off to find her mother and Tsunami went to play with her sisters.
It was almost night and Starflight went to explore the palace before it was too late.
The palace was massive, it had four huge obsidian towers on the corners. Beside that on the ground there was a lake where houses or rooms whatever you call it were made. Starflight spotted Tsunami and her family and other seawings there. As he entered the through the main floor, there were stairs on the right and left leading upstairs. The grand hall was huge, it had least six windows covered with leaves like in the rain forest and there was a low circular table with carpets kept along it's edges for dragons to sit on. Each floor was in a circular shape, making sure that if you looked up from the grand hall you could directly see the roof of this tall and huge palace.
Starflight spread his and took off. There was enough space inside the palace for least eight full grown dragons to fly freely. There were some candles lit of different color like in Jade Mountain Academy.
Enough finding the beauty of the palace. Starflight scolded himself. Just go and see the floors dedicated to each tribe and get rest.
He landed with a thud, startling the dragons on the and went on the first floor. The floor dedicated to his tribe, was black in color and had small diamonds embedded in the walls, just seeing it made Starflight want to stay there forever. There were six caves in total, one cave per dragon.
The second floor dedicated to the sandwings was entirely different than the first. That floor had sand covering every inch of the ground and the heat radiating off was just like dessert. This floor had six caves as well. On Starflight's way towards the third floor, he ran into Sunny and Queen Thorn. He greeted them, inquired about the queens meeting, said bye to them and went off.
Starflight knew that he couldn't roam around and get a good view of the third floor since Icewings hated Nightwings, so he decided to just take a quick glance and leave.
The third floor was breathtaking, it was entirely frozen, and the ice was of shimmering shades of blue and white. This must be the colors of the ice kingdom and palace. No matter how beautiful the floor was, the coldness on the floor didn't give Starflight the feeling to stay there forever.
By the time he came to his tribe's floor, almost everyone was asleep. I will check the rainwings, seawings, skywings and mudwings floors tomorrow. Whichever animus dragon made this place must be very talented. That was Starflight's last thought before his eyelids dropped and darkness came over him.
