It's Friday the 13th at Stalag 13, and Colonel Hogan is having the worse bad luck ever. He's never been a superstitious person; Carter, however, strongly is. As the day unfolds and accident after accident befalls Hogan, will he begin believing Carter's ramblings? Does bad luck actually exist? What he doesn't realize is things aren't always as they seem. An aborted rendezvous, a vicious attack and aid from an unlikely source. When someone close to Hogan is seriously injured, heart-wrenching events are revealed, sending Hogan into a tailspin.

Operation Freebird was only meant to be a last resort. Now, the Unsung Heroes are out behind enemy lines without the security of Stalag 13. Never one to ignore a challenge, Hogan now finds himself at head of a larger operation than he ever intended, with an ally he never expected, and two questions he needs to answer. Just who is the Kingmaker? And where is Kommandant Klink?

This story has mystery, drama, and romance. I read a lot of HH stories and read a lot of great ones. Here is my attempt to write an idea that's been brewing in my head for awhile. Thank everyone who've read this story and commented. Hope you all like it.

A fairly quiet day in Stalag 13. Wherein Hogan is thoughtful, Klink is slightly cross, and everything works out in the end.

This story is meant as an episode in my imagined seventh and final season of Hogan's Heroes. This episode does not follow up episode 1, Winds of Change but rather is meant as the 5th or 6th episode. The Heroes are visited by three old friends and one of them needs help to return to his homeland to aid in it's liberation.

Timber! Newkirk has face-planted in the prison yard again. This is humorous whump, with strong elements of parody of the H/C genre, as Newkirk accumulates problems. It's also a story about how the team solidified in the early days of the operation, and how Hogan saw the potential in a group of men who could rally around their annoying friend.

This story takes place after the episode 'permission to escape' and is based on the drabble 'anxiety'. I hope you like it.

In my imagined Hogan's Heroes universe, there is a seventh, finale season. The only change made for my purposes is that "D Day at Stalag 13" took place mid to late in season 6. This story, my first is the debut episode of the finale season and follows up some of the events of the final episode of season 6, "Rockets or Romance".

Klink must tighten the purse strings, so he dismisses the guard dogs and brings in replacements who will work for... cheep? A response to one of Tuttle's more deranged challenges. (It's identified at the end of chapter 1.) Probably 10 chapters total. Chapter 7 & 8 are now up.
