After the meeting with Ahsoka Tano didn't go as planned, Din Djarin was once again back to his old routine while looking for Jedi. He takes up jobs here and there with the Child in tow. One leads him to a swampy jungle planet where he meets a Mercenary. Well she actually fell on him...

This is my version of what happens after the last episode of Season 2 and before the Book of Boba Fett. Disclaimer: I don't own the Mandalorian - he belongs to Lucasfilm. I've returned to fan fiction after a long break, and this is my first ever fic in the Star Wars universe. Reviews will be very gratefully received.

She was only supposed to survive, the gods made sure of it, and she did a good job at it. She survived her planet's genocide and found protection with the Mandalorians, even if their Alor Paz hated her. Then, when the covert risked everything for Din and his foundling, she fell under the protection of the Alor, who hated her. (Paz x reader or OC. Reads as either).

A quiet moment for Boba and Fennec on Tatooine. Fennec learns something unexpected about her friend and boss. (This probably should be under The Book of Boba Fett, but that category hasn't been created yet.)

Takes place right after the events of the Season 1 finale. The Mandalorian is trying to get good work and avoid Moff Gideon, Ter'a is a former Jedi ready to come out of a long exile after the Purges and the rise and fall of the Empire. Together, they try to find the kids tribe, family, planet, species... something, they end up finding something else. Slow burn lots of lemons.

The Mandalorian sense of honor was a hell of a thing; strict and unyielding but full of care and genuine moral clarity. It guided many to walk a path of righteousness, even when in the darkest bowels of the galaxy. But righteousness is a hard path to walk when everyone around you succumbs to the decadence of greed. Din lost sight of that once. Never again.

My life was routine, a contentful routine. Till one day it wasn't.

Din Djarin rapes Grogu one night at the camp.

After leaving the Jedi Academy, Din Djarin and Grogu settle into a new way of life as a father and son making their own way in the dangerous galaxy. While helping those who cannot fend for themselves a surprise message arrives and an old enemy is back in play.

Grogu sits on the Seeing Stone and calls, and calls, and calls, and calls, and calls. And they *all* come, though not… as expected. Din can only sigh to it all.
