Artemis is a princess who thought everything was going the way it was meant to until her father arranged her marriage with a prince who was selfish and mean. The night of the engagement ball was going great until the prince showed his true colors and hurt Artemis causing her to run from the party and the castle to the Moors where she meets Diaval and he helps her recover.

Diaval finds an unconscious woman in a cave in the Moors. What he quickly discovers is that the woman is a fairy with no wings and has no idea how she came to the cave. Maleficent lets her stay and Diaval helps her put the pieces back together of what happened to her. As time goes on, he develops feelings for the fairy who yearns for wings of her own. This is the story of Maleficent's loyal servant, "Diaval". On how he became the first and only creature that truly knows Maleficent.

After Aurora comes home to the Moors, she admits to Maleficent that, sometimes, she wishes Maleficent could be by her side while she was at the human kingdom. In her own words, on especially bad days, all she would want was her mom.

When the second movie came out I had too many ideas and too little time, so I turned the ideas into drabbles.

After the death of King Stefan, the Moors had finally found peace, and Maleficent had found her first true love. But who was to say there would not be another?
