My take on Colin and Penelope's story taking into account the TV show changes from the book shown in Seasons 1 and 2. Colin has not seen the amazing woman who has been under his nose for years. What would happen if another man started pursuing Penelope? Would he realize what he was missing?

She wakes in the body of Carina Sheffield, but while this version of Bridgerton is familiar, it is not the same. Kate is gone, and in her absence, Carina decides to ensure Anthony and Edwina live happily ever after. While the show neatly tied up their love story, I felt it needed more angst.
