A/N: For those of you who don't know, I do have anxiety so some of what I write….it's from a real place. I told my beta reader that I thought this story would be 12 to 15 chapters….Folks, I'm on chapter 12 writing this, and they haven't even shot the pilot yet….this thing may go…..AWHILE. Come on in, it's time for the telling of America's favorite couple, Lights, Camera, Action, chapter 6.

Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck

The scene opens with Ellie Bartowski sitting down in the interview chair. The producer speaks. "Tell us about your brother."

Ellie smiles, and takes a breath. "He's one of the kindest people I ever met. I know I'm biased because he's my brother but…" She pauses for a second. "If I'm honest, I guess I'm more than a sister to him. Our mom left when he was little, and he thought a lot of that was his fault. Then, while Dad didn't leave for some time…he wasn't really there, you know?"

Ellie frowned a little. "I know he told me to talk about whatever I wanted but…there's something I need to clear up. His anxiety, it was not brought on by our parents leaving. That's not how it works. Did it exacerbate it? Absolutely. But cause it? No."

The producer speaks. "How much of a role does his anxiety play in this story?"

Ellie smirks. "It pretty much stars in it, if I'm being honest." She sobers for a second. "So his anxiety does two things. The first, and most obvious, it makes him question himself. He has trouble trusting the opposite sex because of mom, Jill, and…wait, has he talked about her yet?"

The producer speaks. "No, not yet."

"So, well skip her for now," Ellie replied, nodding. "But the other thing it does, is it drives him. His mind, because of the anxiety, is always trouble-shooting through problems, and because of that he's coming up with solutions. He's always up at weird hours working on things because he figured out how to fix them. Some times we can be talking about something, and you just can see the light bulb go off in his head, and you might as well stop talking, because his mind is figuring out what to do with the idea. Maybe that part's not anxiety of thinking about future problems, but I think it contributes to it."

The producer speaks. "Sounds like a blessing and a curse."

"Exactly," Ellie replied. "He built a multi-million dollar podcasting/video company because of it." She frowns. "He's also been alone because of it." She shakes her head. "He has friends, he has those that are close, but someone to share it with, intimately…he didn't have that…" Ellie grins. "Until Sarah."

The producer speaks. "I feel like we're missing something. I have to believe Chuck has found women attractive before. What drew him to Sarah like he was drawn?"

Ellie sat there a second, quiet. "Molly."

"She won't smile, Chuck," Ellie said softly, the two of them standing in her office. "I don't know if she knows English."

"What happened to her?" Chuck asked.

"Her family got caught in a shoot out," Ellie explained. Chuck shook his head and looked away. "Her parents are dead and something hit her in the head during the commotion."

"Does she have a brain injury?" Chuck asked.

"Not that I know of," Ellie told him. "I need to her to speak. I know she doesn't want to, but…" Ellie shook her head. "I've finally got her identity, and I need to find her relatives." She gave him a pointed look.

"That I can do," Chuck told her. "Can I see her?"

"Come on," Ellie told him. The two walked down the hallway towards the room. "We found out her name is Molly Jozwiak. I have more info and I can give it to you." She gave Chuck a look. "You won't get caught, right?"

"I won't, Ellie, but when I find her family, how are we going to tell them and they not know it was me?" Chuck asked.

"I have no idea," Ellie began, but they both stopped. In the room with Molly was a blond haired woman, speaking to the child. "Who is that?"

"It looks like Sarah Walker," Chuck told Ellie. She gave him a look. "She's a television and movie star."

"I know who Sarah Walker is, what I'm asking is, why is she in there with Molly?" Before Chuck could reply, Ellie made a slight gasp. "Molly's talking."

"Does Sarah Walker speak Polish?" Chuck asked. Ellie turned to him. "The case has been on the news, Ellie, and if she can speak Polish, maybe…I don't know."

"I'm going in there," Ellie told him.

"I'm going back to your office and work on finding her family. The file is there, right?" Ellie nodded. He saw the look in her eye, and he hurried on before she could say anything. "Listen, she's a big deal, and maybe if you let her know who the family is, she can help get them in touch with Molly's family."

"Chuck," Ellie began. "You're a huge fan of hers."

"I am," Chuck agreed. "But right now, that four year old girl has no one in her life, and we both know that's much more important than me stumbling over myself trying to introduce myself and then my anxiety messing with me as I try and find that child's parents." Ellie sighed and nodded.

She kissed him on the cheek. Ellie pulled back and gave Chuck a smile. "You're Aces, little brother. Aces." She put her hand on the door handle, pushed it open, and Chuck could hear enough of the conversation inside to know that a language other than English was being spoken. He was pretty sure it was Polish, but he wasn't for sure. He hurried back to Ellie's office. Molly needed family.

The scene cuts to Sarah sitting in the chair. "So this is twice now you two almost met but didn't."

"Oh, it's worse than that," Sarah replied, chuckling. "At the time, I didn't know about Chuck. I didn't realize Ellie was friends with Carina and Zondra. Ellie did tell me who Molly's family was and I was the one that reached out to Molly's family and got them together."

Sarah shook her head, blew out a breath, and continued. "I was supposed to go to a party at their place after Molly was reunited with her family, but I landed a role and had to leave immediately. By the time I got back, I felt terrible about leaving, and never contacted them."

Sarah looked away. "I love my job, and part of me wishes I had a role on a regular TV series where I could have a somewhat regular life. Even the one season of TV I was on, it was all shot in London. And I realize that they still work insane hours but taking roles at the last minute…It doesn't happen like it does for me with movies." She blew out a breath. "I feel like I can never have a real relationship with someone outside of the industry because it's so hard for others to understand how these roles sometimes just pop up out of nowhere."

The producer speaks. "Do you get bored of playing the same character?"

"Yeah," Sarah nodded. "I want to try different roles, different genres. I've done TV, theater, and movies. I know I'm young to have done as much as I have, and very fortunate." She is silent for a second, and when she speaks she is quite somber. "I had a goal." She pauses. "Still have it, if I'm honest, and I'm driven to that goal. We're a few weeks away from reaching it." She grins and holds up both hands with her fingers crossed.

The producer speaks. "How has that been since you've started dating Chuck?"

Sarah smiles. "This is why I think we met each other when we were supposed to. I realized that I was having all of this success. I was achieving my dreams, and I had no one to share it with. I didn't need anyone to share it with, but I wasn't giving myself a chance either, does that make sense?"

The producer speaks. "So, what Chuck did to find Molly's family…."

"He just did some Google searches on the computer, that's all," Sarah said, shrugging and grinning.

Chuck is now sitting in the interview chair. The producer speaks. "What was so important about that moment with Sarah and Molly?"

Chuck is silent for a second, a grin on his face, as he is thinking. "Okay, so seeing Sarah Walker on TV, on the big screen, that's one thing, right? Like, she's badass, she's beautiful, she's got….it." He shifts in his seat. "I've…dated an actress…kinda…"

The producer speaks. "You're talking about Kayla, aren't you?"

"Yes," Chuck replied, nodding. "Zondra set us up, something she apologizes for until this day." You can hear sputtered laughter off camera and Chuck smiles. "So, after that, I began to wonder, was Zondra and Carina the only ones off-screen who were real. Now, I know that's not fair, it's my anxiety, but I was pretty beat up at this point."

Chuck looks down for a moment, gathering himself. "At that time, I didn't know about her background, about her family being from Poland. She had heard about the incident, and apparently knew of the family. She went to the hospital to see if she could do anything to help, found out no one was there with her, and went into Molly's room to talk to her."

Chuck grins at the memory. "When I heard her talking…I knew it wasn't English, I wasn't sure what language it was, but what I did know was the look on Molly's face. The look that someone out there was looking out for her….like my sister did for me."

"That was when I wanted to know more about Sarah Walker. Not like a stalker, or anything like that…although I guess that's what a stalker would say." There was a snicker off camera. "Anyway, I began to do some basic research and found out that while she was born in Australia, her parents were Polish, and left Poland so she could be born in a non-communist country."

There was a bit of a far off look in his eyes. "To be in a country by yourself, with only your mom and dad, and no other family…I couldn't help but think of my and Ellie's situation. While it wasn't the same, there were a lot of similarities there. And-and her work ethic, good Lord. She was shooting projects like crazy. In the back of my mind, I had to wonder, what was it that was driving her to shoot that many projects?"

The producer speaks. "Now that you know, how does that make you feel? What do you think?"

"What do I think?" Chuck asked, with a grin. "I think I love her more than ever," he said with a shrug.

The camera cuts to Zondra sitting in the chair. The producer speaks. "Anything you'd like to say about Kayla?"

"Oh, God," she groused. "Look, I don't begrudge Kayla, and that she only wanted to date Chuck because of his fame and add that to her fame. What two people want to do, that's their business." Zondra got a hard look on her face. "The problem is, Chuck had no idea what was going on, and it hurt him deeply."

Zondra rolled her head on her shoulders, and stared into the camera. "I want it very clear, I don't blame her for Chuck burying himself into his work, but it was the final push for him. Chuck has been so open about his mental heath struggles and I love him for it. He puts his true, authentic self out there, and that let's people see that you can be successful and struggle. He let's people see that you can overcome and that people do like you for who you are. That's important."

The producer speaks. "It sounds like Chuck Bartowski impresses the hell out of you."

"Oh, he does," Zondra replied. "And I'm not going to lie, when he and Sarah began to work together I worried that he might have real issues with his mental health." She grins. "I had no idea that the two of them would just…." She shakes her head. "God it sounds so corny what I'm about to say." She chuckles. "They truly complete each other."

She shakes her head again. "And that's not to say they still don't have issues both as a couple and individually, but they…they have this thing about them…it's hard to describe, but when you see it…" she smiles and nods. "You're like, 'yeah, those two…that's real…that's legit.'"

The producer speaks. "So, things went smoothly after the two actually met?" Zondra bursts out laughing, and has to hold onto the chair. She shakes her head, and begins to laugh again.

A/N: Things go smoothly for these two? Please. Now, do know, I'm not talking about love triangles or any of that nonsense, but shenanigans and each of them thinking things about the other and being wrong…well….of course that's going to happen.

Next time:

Sarah grins at the camera. "And I don't know if I truly understood that until I met Chuck and realized what Mr. Right looked like."

The producer speaks. "So you realized that when you met Chuck?"

Sarah begins to laugh. "I'm sorry," she says after a second. "I mean, yes, I realized it. Did I understand what to do with it?" She begins to laugh again.

There's the Sarah we all know and love. Come on back next time for more Lights, Camera, Action.
