The Creatures of Grimm. Fiendish animalistic abominations that walked the land. They need no food, water, or even air. By biological standards, they're a mystery that couldn't be solved. Lacking any proper organs in question while dissipating upon death. Wielding immense strength and durability, capable of destroying an entire town with enough numbers.
"Eat it sucker!" None of which mattered to the girl with a robotic limb, where she owned the Grimm without looking tired. As she ran towards an Ursa, she then slammed her fist into its abdomen, blowing a nice hole in it which killed the creature. A Beowolf came behind her and tried to tear her back open. She turned, blocked the blow with her forearm, then lifted her foot and slammed the hell onto its jaw, snapping its head back before giving consecutive blows that sent the creature into a small pack of other Beowolves.
"Woah." Achilles said, somewhat impressed. "Kid's not half bad."
"Really?" Paris asked as he saw this strange girl grab one of the werewolves and flipped it over her where it then landed on its back. Proceeding to then crush its skull in with a foot stomp. "I mean, couldn't we kill them faster?"
"Ugh. By modern human standards I meant." Achilles said with Paris making an 'oh' sound from his lips.
"Yep." Apollo agreed while whispering, not wanting the blonde to hear him. "She's moving way faster than what a regular person should be capable of." Stronger while noticing how any hits that slammed into her seemed to not actually do anything. If anything, she's not a normal human at all. Being courageous, brave-
"Hey!" She then shouted at all three of them while dodging a dash attack from a boar. "Are you guys gonna help or not?" She then gave a head-butt to another werewolf while breaking its snout before she punched it away.
-along with being mad at them. Can't really blame her seeing as she's doing all the work at the moment. To her eyes, they're slacking off.
"Aw man." While Achilles wanted to help, he wasn't even sure if he should. I mean, he was running low on mana. 'But,' Standing around and doing nothing is not what a hero should do either. So, "Alright, I'll give you a hand."
"Woah! Seriously!" Paris shouted as he and Apollo saw the Greek hero go off and help their mystery friend without hesitation.
"I'm a hero. Not a coward." Is the reply they got as Achilles then used simple punches and kicks to attack the creatures. Not bothering materializing his weapons or using his Noble Phantasms at all since that'd just waste what little mana he had left.
"Ughhh." Now Paris felt as if he's the one wimping out. "Fine." While it would be wasteful, Paris won't let Achilles one-up him. "Apollo, we're entering battle."
"Sure." The fluffy God is with his small partner. "Let's not let that muscle head get ahead of us." With his God agreeing, Paris screamed as he ran towards the snake. While using his arrows and bows would kill this thing easily enough, it'd waste mana. Thankfully, as a Servant Paris had way more strength contrary to his appearance. So that snake won't even know what hit it.
"The hell!" Then the blonde lady jumped in front of Paris and from her metal hand, shot out something that exploded against the snake making it screech. "You idiot!" She then shouted at Achilles who looked surprised at being yelled at. "What kind of person leaves a kid alone."
"Eh?" On Paris's head, Apollo then sighed. It seems the lady had a rather, if understandable, misunderstanding. Thinking that Paris, who indeed looks like a little boy, or girl, is in danger. As such, after shooting at the Grimm's face with her gauntlets, the woman grabbed Paris and ran back to the ship and put him down.
"You stay here. It's dangerous." She then ran back to help kill the remaining Grimm while Paris then pouted. Not helping matters where he then saw Achilles, who tore off a werewolf's arm off with ease, giving an amusing look at Paris.
"Jerk."
Footsteps could be heard on what should have been a busy day full of others. Instead, the footsteps reverberated on the hallway they walked on, followed by footsteps from another. Here in Haven Academy, one of the four great places where one trains to be a Huntsman, it's considerably empty. No students, very little staff, where in the hallway is a young man and a faunus.
The latter of which is getting a report.
"Communication is high all across Mistral." The man told the faunus as he looked through a scroll. "Not even twenty-four hours and already articles and forums are talking about some floating city that nearly crushed a town. People are scared and want answers."
"Yes, yes, but what can we do?" The faunus rhetorically asks while nervously touching his beard. "Unless Atlas found a way to teleport their city, the images show this isn't Atlas at all. But something else altogether." Something nobody knew about.
"I understand sir. But the fact is this city's appearance is causing fear all over. And we know what fear attracts." Grimm.
"...yes. And not helping matters is the lack of…Huntsmen." Many of whom are now dead because of Grimm attacks. Yes, Grimm attacks. It was then the faunus stopped, showing himself to be a tall man with a mane and red clothing and a dark skin tone. Revealed to be none other than Headmaster Lionheart, who at the moment looks tired.
Rubbing his eyes, Lionheart looks ahead knowing his office is there. With a sigh, he turns to the man and says, "I'll see what I can do. But for now, I'd like to be left alone to think."
"Understood sir. Good luck." The man then left, leaving Lionheart alone. For a moment the Headmaster looked as if he was about to call the man to return back. Instead, he stopped himself while looking guilty. Gulping, he then resumed his walk where his office is at. Passing by the empty classrooms and locked doors, all unused at this time. Where familiar staff members Lionheart knew who normally should be here; no more instead.
'Killed by the Grimm…and them.' Breathing sharply, Lionheart now stood in front of his office, needing to simply just open the door. How he hated it. How he feared it. His hand trembled as he raised it, hesitating greatly to do a simple act. Momentarily, he considered just leaving.
Click.
That went out the window when the door suddenly opened up. But not by Lionheart's own hand, but instead a tentacled barb where greeting Lionheart is a Grimm. A jelly-fish like one which seemed to stare at him and maybe even his soul. Lionheart stepped back, panic in his eyes.
"Enter." Came a demanding voice that made Lionheart feel a chill. Quickly his instincts told him to run away. Ditch this creature and the mistress that controlled it, never looking back. One look at the deep red glow from the creature and its sharp tipped-end barbs said otherwise. Lionheart reluctantly ignored his instincts and instead entered with great anxiety. Once he did so, the Grimm known as the Seer closed the door and even locked it.
Now it was just the two of them. The office camera turned off, this meeting being entirely secret. Lionheart walked until he sat behind his desk while sweating just a then opened his mouth and said, "H-Hello…my lady."
The Seer is now in front of him, the foggy red smoke that swirls behind the boney plate armor then begins to shift as a voice comes out like before. The voice of the lady that Lionheart fearfully obeys. "I heard some rather…interesting news has occurred. Here in your beloved kingdom."
"Y-Yes. It has." Lionheart nodded, not even surprised she knew. All of Mistral likely knew by now, with the entity of Remnant had it not been for the CCT Towers being incapable of spreading this information to the other three kingdoms. Thus making it so only Mistral and local villages and towns in range knew at the moment.
The Seer floated a little higher. As if looking down on him, working remarkably well in doing so. Deciding to get under her good graces, Lionheart said, "C-Currently I am h-having some individuals check in on the situation. To see what is happening. Although I a-admit that might be slow."
"Yes. I am fully aware that investigations would be challenging. Especially seeing as this city has come from…nowhere, admittingly." The Seer's tentacles twitched, as if agreeing. "For now though, simply update me on any news of what may come should you come across any."
"Yes ma'am. Although…" Nervously adjusting his collar, Lionheart asks, "Should this mean that the plan is still resuming?"
"For now, yes." The Seer began moving to where it usually stayed in. A hidden little room which only the Headmaster knew about. "But if anything strange occurs because of this city, contact me immediately. Because I have no doubt things will happen soon enough."
Already the Master of the Grimm, Salem, is sending a Seer to Hazel while later on she will get in contact with Watts and Cinder once they finish their job. Another being sent to Tyrian who is still recovering a little after the scuffle he had with one of Ozpin's agents. The Seer then locked itself in leaving Lionheart 'alone' for the most part. Though even now he felt wary, even if he wasn't in trouble.
If anything, for now he should resume like he normally would. Do his best to also investigate the anomaly all while being prepared for when any potential threats to be dealt with. Be it anybody who's getting suspicious of his actions, or the way Huntsmen are dying, or even with say…someone like Qrow arrived.
'Eventually Qrow and the kids will be coming.' Then once they came, Salem and her agents would…
Lionheart grabbed a nearby bottle and began to pour himself a drink. Desperate to just relax himself, forget the stress and let himself forget about the damning guilt he had. Yet this drink would do little to actually provide him comfort later on, if any. Ultimately the Headmaster knew that when he and the children came, they'd be killed off all for Salem's sake.
"Forgive me." Is all Lionheart could then say. Even if he knew that such an apology could never be heard, let aside ever accepted. Especially from a cowardly traitor like him.
"Mmmm." Slowly, despite feeling drowsy, Oscar began to stir. His eyes slowly blinked with the desire to rub them, feeling tired and uncomfortable at the same time. Stirring himself awake, Oscar saw some light, noticed some figures that were blurred from his vision, even hearing noises which appeared to be voices.
"What?" He said before he then heard someone speak to him, though not physically of course.
"Oscar, are you awake?" Following suit in awakening is Ozpin, who awoke at around the same time as Oscar. Where after hearing his voice, Oscar's eyes shot open as memories began coming back to him. The train, the strange ship, Ozpin taking over and attacking what may have been enemies and then, "Damn!" Oscar then tried to stand up only to tumble down on his side.
It was then he finally realized he was tied up.
"Sorry man, but we aren't letting you get the drop on us again." Turning his head, both Oscar and Ozpin then saw their would-be captor. A young teenage boy from the looks of it with countless others beside him. All wearing similar clothing which consists of robes and colored white and some gold outlines on it. With the farm boy and immortal soul inside him trapped before them.
"W-What do you want?" Oscar said while panicking just a bit. Having never thought he'd be kidnapped. 'Ozpin. What do we do?' He then called out to the immortal who quickly answered him.
"The rope doesn't seem to be special. We can bust out, but not yet." Best to do so when their captors guards are down. Where the boy who seems to lead them began to speak to answer Oscar's questions.
"We're Olympians. Though admittedly, I doubt you'd know us at all." He told Oscar whose eyes looked around if he's somewhere else. Realizing they're still on the same ship going who knows where. Thankfully, the boy didn't notice this and continued speaking, "And we're here because we need some answers and some, well, help."
Nearby, whispering, one Olympian says, "And he thinks tying up someone is gonna get us answers."
Dude got an elbow strike for that. "Shut it. You weren't the one who got his balls kneed at."
The boy rolled his eyes and continued on. "Look, all I want to say is, we mean no harm."
"Pretty sure you were trying to kidnap me." Oscar deadpanned with the boy looking slightly embarrassed.
"True. True." He couldn't deny that. "But look, we just wanted answers, with you being the one best suited to answering them."
"And why me?" Oscar asked with suspicion, where Ozpin also acted the same. The two get ready to break out just in case they confirm Ozpin's worries.
"Because you-" Before the boy could continue on, suddenly a beeping sound was heard. "What's happening?" He asked. Piloting the ship, the person driving answered back.
"It seems we're actually getting a message." Looks like they fixed the communications relay. Perfect.
"Great!" The boy known as Macarios then smiled. Realizing that means he can speak to her. "Then what are you waiting for, answer already."
"Got it." A button is pushed and a holographic image is now seen. Oscar twisted himself to check what was happening, where his eyes then widened.
"My. That's quite…something." It's a known fact that faunus, while looking very human for the most part, can have scales, maybe a turtle shell or other features that make them look less human at times. Here, it's one of those times.
"Why hello there. The great Presi-King is here!" Mainly, seeing a guy with a lion head of all things speaking through the hologram.
"And here I thought I saw everything." Ozpin joked while Oscar gave a slight chuckle. He wasn't sure if he should be shocked or laugh at what he's seeing. But he stayed quiet, as both he and Ozpin decided to listen in for any information they could use.
"Edison. It's nice to see you."
"Likewise Macarios. Glad to see you are alright." The named faunus nodded with a grin. "I know she'll be happy to see you." Then, from behind Edison came a girl that looked very much like Macarios, though female looking with longer hair and a dress.
"Macarios! Nice to see you."
"Adele!" Macarios said with the girl smiling. "Y-You're alright."
"Of course I am silly. Mr. Edison and the other Servants have helped us escape the city." It was then Adele looked a little sad, something Macarios noticed.
"Is something wrong?" He asked.
"Oh. It's nothing, really." Despite saying that, Adele sighed. "It's just…well, some of the Servants ended up vanishing."
'Servants?" Oscar thought, confused by what he's hearing. Twisting his head a little and seeing how most of the Olympians inside were focused on the hologram than him. Quietly, he began positioning himself for Ozpin when he took over.
"You too?" That wasn't good. "Wait, do any of you know why?" Macarios asked aloud, hoping they had an answer.
"We do." Edison replied, though clearly looks unpleasant. "From what we understand, it appears that the problem was a lack of mana. Thus some like Mordred and…Tesla ended up vanishing away."
"Huh. But why?" An Olympian asked with Edison quickly answering followed by Adele.
"The Counter Force is gone."
"To explain, it seems wherever we went has cut off every Servant with us from the Counter Force which previously empowered and summoned them here." Keeping them alive, though a bit weakened as the Counter Force only gave them the sufficient energy to keep them active and use their Noble Phantasms sparingly. "Thankfully, we managed to make a contract with Edison and the rest before they vanished away like Sir Mordred and Tesla."
"Right. Got it." Macarios couldn't say he comprehended everything, but he at least understood that the Counter Force is no longer keeping the Servants around and thus making the Servants vanish unless they make a contract with one of the Olympians. Something they never really bothered with since they had assumed the Counter Force would have been enough. That had clearly been a mistake.
"But overall, are you all safe?"
"We are." His elder sister told him, much to his relief. "Many of us managed to enter the ships when Olympus arrived at this…rather strange place."
"You're telling us." One of the female Olympians laughed as she walked right next to Macarios to speak. "We tried to get on at a train station and they asked for money. Money!" That got a few chuckles and jabs here and there, with Adele giggling while Edison just looked confused.
"Well, moving on." Edison then decided to quickly change the topic at hand. "For the time being most of us have left Olympus, with a few staying behind to watch."
"Isn't that dangerous though." An adult asked with Edison laughing.
"As if!" He bellowed. "Why, thanks to all the damage done to Olympus alongside the outright destruction of the Tree of Emptiness, Zeus is forced to utilize all his energy just to keep Olympus from fading away and upkeep the city."
Then, pushing past Edison is a rather young looking girl with bright purple hair and a book in her hands. "In other words, we need not fear too much for their safety. Helping that they'll be staying in Hades' domain as done before."
"Great." This was good news for Macarios and everyone else inside the ship. While they always did their best, fear and worry had always been prevalent within them that Olympus forces would kill them if they ever made a mistake. Hades domain is one of the few safe places though, so those remaining in the city will be capable of living.
"It also helps that many of Olympus's forces are now dealing with the aftermath of the mass teleportation." It was then Edison frowned. "Still, due to the spacial shift it caused a lot of troops from Atlantis to enter the city. Not to mention they are trying to fix the broken areas where the Gods themselves, aside from Zeus, are active."
"Gods!?" Now this got Ozpin listening more closely, where Oscar felt his presence getting ready to take over. A light glow coming out of Oscar's body indicating his aura will be ready to be used.
"Understood. By any chance can you send your locations so we can meet up?"
"Of course, Macarios." Edison chuckled. "Actually, we tried contacting you before like the other ships, though you didn't answer for some reason."
"Had a rough landing." Macarios answered. "Plus I'm sure you've noticed this place is...odd."
"Dude. I think we can all tell." One of the Olympians said with Adele on the hologram giggling again.
"Yeah. The broken moon and a lack of mana told us." Everyone inside the ship then laughed with Macarios blushing a bit.
"W-Whatever." He then said, "Look, let's just meet up so we can exchange information. We should talk about our next move and what should be done next." A sound could then be heard.
The pilot then says, "It seems we got your coordinates. Inputting auto-pilot so we can continue our talk without having to use manual control."
"Perfect." Macarios looks back at Helena. "Shall we continue our discussion?"
"We should." That was something Helena could work with. "I want to see more of what this strange place is like. Perhaps getting a local or two to help us out."
"We also need to discuss finding them." Edison then said aloud, with Oscar and Ozpin then hearing, "After all, we need to summon back the Brother Gods."
Despite lacking context, understanding, not to mention their actual goals, Ozpin instantly took over. Only a few people knew the Brother Gods were real, him, Salem, with those they themselves told. And since he didn't recognize them, that just left Salem.
"What the-!" Of course, Ozpin breaking out of his ropes didn't go unnoticed.
Slam!
He just wasn't easily stopped as he punched the Olympian away and ran towards the controls that piloted the ship.
"Wait, stop!" Macarios shouted but with Ozpin not bothering to listen. As he got to the front, ignoring the surprised stairs of those in the hologram, quickly Oscar saw they're flying very high. And from what he heard, their ship is already going to a location that couldn't be changed unless they went back to manual control. Best to change that and then get ready for a fall.
"I'm sorry, what!?" Oscar shouted mentally with Ozpin apologizing to the boy. Things were going to get rough as Ozpin focused his aura on his fists and slammed them down on the controls and wrecked them.
Olympus created many machines that were quite durable. Though naturally, that usually went to their war machines, the vessels hull, their prized shrines and other locations and projects. The controls of a ship, not so much as Ozpin then grabbed the steering wheel and ripped it off, causing the console to beep red.
Manual control is gone. Meaning this ship couldn't change direction anymore.
"Ah shit!" The pilot said before he felt himself being grabbed with Ozpin picking him up and throwing him to the nearest bunch of Olympians who fell from impact.
"Macarios!" Adele shouted with worry as she and the others saw what appeared to be a young boy suddenly beginning to beat up the Olympians inside the ship, using their bodies as shields and his fists to knock them out. Macarios himself tried to put him back to sleep only for Ozpin to be right behind him.
Saying, "Not this time."
The young Olympian then felt himself being kicked in the back while the ship itself began lurching from the fighting inside. One of the Olympians tried to jump at Ozpin only to find his ribs cracking as Ozpin's foot knocked all the air out of them. With that done, Ozpin then went to the ship's door and slammed on the button. Once it opened, Ozpin then turned and said, "See ya."
Jumping out without hesitation, while Oscar mentally screamed, Ozpin just focused his magic to create a shield to cushion their landing. He then turned to see the ship itself continuing to its destination with no chance of any of the Olympians to turn it around and grab Ozpin and Oscar. With their controls damaged, they have no choice.
'And even if they can change course, by the time they get back up, we'll be long gone.' Ozpin thought as he then saw the city of Mistral itself. It would of course be a while to walk over there, but better than be held captive by the hands of Salem's forces. By this point, he wasn't even surprised she even added teenagers in the mix, as he recalled one life where he died by an undercover teen.
Ozpin and Oscar soon hit the earth below, the spherical shield protecting them from going splat and even leaving a crater below them. The shield then vanished with Ozpin then saying, "All's well that ends well."
Oscar then took over. Where the first thing he did was simple.
"Ugrrhhhh!" Throwing up.
"Let it loose Oscar. But then get ready." Mistral might be closer now, but it's still a long way from here. "We have a long road ahead of us."
"Urghhhh." Oscar wasn't looking forward to that at all. Yet his feet began moving to what would be a very boring journey to Mistral with no movies to watch, air conditioning, free snacks and a comfy cushion to sit on.
"..." Oscar then felt nature calling and looked around. Right. Best to add no bathroom as well. It seems being the chosen one had little benefit in the wild itself.
The CCT Towers, despite being incapable of worldwide communications, still functioned well at their job in providing for their respective kingdoms. Even if a person can no longer call on the other side of the planet, they can still access the internet and call friends and families in their own local area. As such, despite worldwide communications being down, it wasn't as if it was the end of the world.
"Pathetic. Were those their best guards." But it just might be, seeing as stepping inside the command center had very much malicious intentions for using this tower. The figure reveals himself to be none other than Odysseus himself, who at this moment is sent on a mission by the Gods themselves.
"Now then," The Lostbelt Servant walked towards the main console of this tower. "Let us see what we have here." It's been just a bit over half a day since Olympus has arrived in this strange place that was not earth. Which of course meant that Olympus has no knowledge at all, something that would clearly need to be corrected. The Gods are all knowing, so they must know everything. Even if it is another world.
As such, Odysseus has been tasked with getting that information. Being given a stealth ship that sent him to what Olympus scanners and radar being a large city that was countless miles away from the basic and small town their preciouses city is flying over. Which Odysseus was sent to where thanks to the ship's functions, discovered what is the source of communications and relay signals in the entire kingdom and countless miles away.
'Pathetic.' Yet Odysseus is far from impressed. Looking at the technology around him, which by Olympian standards, may have been a joke. Still, he has a job to do. From what he understood, this tower somehow controls all forms of messaging and communications, like a satellite only on the ground. In other words, it is so easy to penetrate.
"And now for the prize." Information. Admittingly, as primitive as this technology is compared to the glory of Olympus's own technological wonders, Odysseus won't lie in saying he's some expert hacker. If anything, trying would only embarrass himself. Which is why one of the scientists gave him a special device that can be hooked up to the central console, which Odysseus inserted within.
At that moment, a connection was now being made between the CCT and Olympus's own network.
One that Zeus can now tap into.
"Interesting." The God of Thunder, the Lostbelt King, the great ruler and successor of the Cronus Crown then made a small grin on his terminal body. Being the mightiest of all the Gods, Zeus is more than capable of learning and understanding every single bit of data now connecting to Olympus servers. Comprehending the gigabytes, while reading the data at an incredible pace that put supercomputers to shame.
Now, with pleasure, the God of Thunder knows where he and his ilk are at.
Remnant.
A world dominated by these Creatures of Grimm. Being similar to Demonic Beasts and are all over the planet.
The humans and some subspecies known as faunus are incapable of doing anything right. Having been driven back and now live in enclosed areas while those outside the kingdoms usually die. With their being only four major kingdoms which were really just cities.
While their civilization is comparable in some ways to Pan-Human History, with technology that matched and even exceeded earth, it was also so wasted with energy sources focused on some mineral of sorts known as Dust which is clearly finite. With wars that have been waged for silly reasons. Racism still lingering even in these troubling days. So many problems that made Zeus see that this world is worse than even earth in terms of progression.
Truly, the Gods were needed to show humanity the right path.
"Gods." It was then in his search, Zeus then found something. Articles, history notes, all forms of date focused on religion here. A weak religion that wasn't very much, with only a few Gods listed and clearly made up. Except for two of them. The Brother Gods of Light and Dark.
"Them." It was then Zeus recalled a memory from before. Of those insignificant beings who caused all of this.
"Get back here!" Zeus, in a rare moment of anger and rage, shouted instead of speaking in his usual calm voice. His mind was already looking through every camera throughout Olympus with the exception of the Underworld, where in one camera he saw a small girl with ram horns looking at one of the cameras and smiling.
"Hello." She then vanished and appeared in another camera. "And bye-bye!" It was then the shrine dedicated to Demeter blew up along with an entire block. All the humans that had been there, reduced to atoms and truly dead for good. It made sense, seeing as only a God could kill the immortal Olympian subjects. Gods that were proving unfathomably difficult to capture ever since they were freed by an unknown traitor.
As while the Olympian Gods held far greater power than these lesser Gods, they had one thing that not even Zeus had. Instant teleportation.
Another shrine was destroyed, and more people died. In the meantime the God of Light was somewhere else. Zeus didn't know where though. Likely in Tartarus planning something that would dare mess with his city. All the mindless reeds were sent at their best to kill those two, no longer contained, yet their teleportation powers proved to be vastly annoying. Not helping that since Zeus had them locked up almost immediately and draining them, he didn't actually know what their capabilities and Authorities were up until this very moment.
"Until now." The mighty lord grinned as he now had files on those loathsome deities who dared to ruin his plan. Not helping that those reeds calling themselves the God Slayer Alliance and the Servants with them are undoubtedly causing trouble as well. Such problems could be easily dealt with, but at this time it could no longer be done easily with the current situation. Still though, that didn't mean all was lost.
Looking throughout this world's history, Zeus can see just how faithless it was. The people, the reeds, all of them having done nothing to truly advance themselves. It was to be expected, as this world isn't even close to having been united like his Lostbelt. In other words, if Zeus can somehow get the reeds' attention, make them all aware of the might of Olympus…then perhaps Zeus can already find a way to remake Olympus into what it should be. Only with the massive addition of an entire world of reeds to help him out instead of just the few he has in his city.
Admittingly, one would say how would he even convince the mindless reeds. But that won't be a problem. After all, this world simply needed a little guidance from the right Gods.
Anybody who has played Lostbelt 5 will know just how TERRIFYING the Gods are. Hell, it's admitted that the only reason Chaldea won was because the Servants from before and the God Slayer Alliance gave them the help they needed. Otherwise they would have long died when facing just one.
However, if we ignore their awe terrifying power, we also see that their power can be very useful. I mean, ignoring the fact that their world had been pruned with Zeus being a dictator, their world advanced greatly because of their guidance. Becoming a utopia with no sickness, war, racism, and super advanced technology. Such a world couldn't have been possible if the Machine Gods were just fighters, but knew how to progress humanity to the Lostbelt we saw.
So it makes one wonder how Remnant would progress if the Machine Gods acted here.
