The screen lit up once more to show a black king chess piece in the middle of a chess board before someone, Cal picks it up, a cocky look in his eyes.

"Hey Daddy look! It's you now!" Bianca said. Cal smiled, although he was curious. Mirabella told him that'd he'd lose everything, but that seemed a bit hard to believe. Although, the two men seemed to be linked to whatever happened next to him...

Cal then puts his king piece, along with other black chess piece down, as he seemingly blows his competition away. A white king piece blocks the cameras vision before it showed Cal once more, holding a trophy as chess pieces fell behind. The camera spun and changed angles as it shows Cal holding another trophy over his head, as he laughed maniacally.

Cal watched himself with a questioned look"...I don't sound like that when I win. Do I?" He asked. Bianca looked away to avoid her father's eye contact "Uh...well darling...I mean you...uh..." The shorter of the two men had interrupted her "YOU CALL EVERYONE PEASANTS!" He yelled. The taller of them grabbed him "Fortie shush!" He said "But Fortsepher, you know it's true!" The shorter one, named Fortie had said.

The scene cuts to show Cal sitting on a throne as MULTIPLE trophies surround him.

Jose whistles. "Wow. You have a LOT of trophies...who would have thought that playing a board would get you so far?" He asked. Cal looked at the farmer with a hard loom look "Chess isn't JUST a board Game. It's a sport. It's a battle of wits and skill. The more skillful move on to do greater things, despite the games dwindling popularity." He said, crossing his arms like a child.

A spotlight shines down on a blonde haired man that points at him, challenging him. Cal cockily agrees to it as a white and black king peice attack each other like swords. They pull away to show them in a chess match as a audience of Pawns (along with Balan) watch them.

Cal watched himself, keeping his eyes out for any mistakes. Bianca rolled her eyes as Valerie looked at her husband in worry. He's been focusing on chess a lot more lately...maybe a bit too much...

Cal looks at the board and makes is move as the camera changes angle, and the background changes to a stone castle wall. However, Cal looked up to see giant versions of his opponents pieces descend, knocking him to the ground. He momentarily lookedup, only for one more piece to have blown HIM away. He had LOST.

Cal couldn't believe it...for the first time, he had ACTUALLY lost! This...this couldn't be so! He couldn't let this happen! Valerie was worried. If this happened, Cal wouldn't let it go...this was the last thing he would want to see.

Cal then fell as he landed on a chess board with fallen chess pieces. The camera rose to show Cal again, shaking with anger as he banged on the table, chess pieces surrounding his face before his eyes glowed red with rage. Suddenly, the scene changed, showing Cal shattering his trophy case and tossing his chess board and pieces out a window. The black chess piece landed before it and the other piece started to rise and have dark fog fall from it. The king piece gaining strange, glowing neon symobls before shooting towards the screen. And it all went dark.

Everyone turned around to look at Cal with a expressing that read "Seriously?" The sharply dressed man blushed as he shrunk down in his seat from the stares. "You threw a hissy fit...because you lost?" Leo asked, hoping that there was more to his predicament. "It...would appear so." Francis said. Bianca shrunk down in her seat as well. Her dad having a temperature tantrum...because he lost a dumb board Game? How embarrassing...

The screen lit up again to reveal Leo/Emma on what looked to be a giant chess board, surrounded by a broken castle, dark looking chess pieces and Flaming roses on vines covered in the strange symbols.

Cal studied the screen carefully to see what the kids would have to fight next

The camera then showed a few white Pawns get destroyed before in front of them was...a small gremlin like pawn that was smaller than a child.

Everyone stares blankly at the screen with confusion. "What?" Cal asks, staring at his soon to be self. Bianca holds back a laugh. Her daddy's negaboss was shorter than her! "I'm small." Cal bluntly states. Fortie looks at his host "HEY! he yells in anger. Mirabella tries to hold back her own laughter "Well...at least your big in your own way?" She said, though it sounded more like a question...and it didn't seem to help Cal. "I'm SHORT." He emphasized. Cal then stood up, walked over to a wall, and banged his head on it.

"WHY AM I SHORT?!" He yelled. Bianca laughed at her father's misfortune, happy that he got SOME karma for the hissy fit. "So...You're telling me that Everyone else gets some big monster form...and I'm SHORT?!" He questioned, his left eye twitching. Bianca and Valerie began to chortle at Cal's predicament, falling out of their seats as they did. Lucy began to laugh at Cal's problem as well. "W-Well it could be worse!" Lucy gasped out "How? How on earth could it be worse?" Cal asked. "You could he shorter than short." Lucy quipped. Cal shot her a hard look as she collapsed into her chair and laughed some more.

Leo/Emma looked at the small Negati in confusion before it quickly ran away and jumped off of the stage.

Cal slapped a hand to his head "GREAT! So now not only it short, but also a great big coward!" He complained, only to have a small goblet thrown at him. "I AM NOT A COWARD!!" Fortie yelled, shaking his fist at the chess champion. "Easy Fortie...he'll soon take back his words." Fortsepher said. Cal looked at him with a questioning look. Before gazing back at the screen

Suddenly, a large king chess piece with a sinister grin and floating hands rose up, growling at the children.

"Oh. That's what he meant..." Cal said, staring at the much bigger Negaboss. "Wait a minute. Where's the small one?" Isadore asked. "My brother is inside of me." Fortsepher said bluntly. "Inside of you?" Miriam asked. She took a closer look on Fortsepher's true form, and saw what looked to be a small door on his chest "Oh! I see now!" She said

The screen showed the kids landing the last attack on Fortie before it cut back to Fortsepher. The corrupted tyrant tettered in a dazed way before dark fog leaked from him. Suddenly a bright glow erupted from him before he slowly shrunk down into a glowing Ball of light, that was revealed to be Cal.

Cal looked down again, he couldn't believe that his problem was him losing to someone in Chess...there had to be more to this than what he saw...

The man opened his eyes with a smile and he slowly walked towards Leo/Emma when the screen was bathed in white. When the white faded, it revealed the children with Cal, along with some funny looking creatures floating in the air as they began to dance.

Bianca chuckled at her dad as he dances while Cal shrunk into his seat again. He had been embarrassed more than a few times now.

The screen glowed white as a single white king piece could be seen lying on the ground in a black void. Cal wistfully picked it up before he heard someone. The darkness faded away to reveal a small child with blonde hair holding the rest of his chess pieces in his hands, asking to play.

"Oh look! That's sweet Cal! He wants to play with you!" Liena squealed. Cal looked at his future self, he was curious about what was about to happen

Cal smiled and nodded at the child as the scene changed again, showing Cal moving his pieces before zooming to the kid. As he pondered where to move his piece next, Cal then has a flashback to his last tournament when he lost. Cal then moved one of his pieces before tapping at another.

"What are you up to Cal?" Valerie asked. Her husband was giving this young boy the answer. The only time he ever did that was when they went on a date

The child figured out what Cal meant as he moved his piece into position and checkmated Cal. The young boy shared a laugh with the former champion as two more kids asked to play. Cal gladly agreed as little girl has her turn, the camera zooming farther from Cal and the kids as Balan's sleeve and hand is shown, putting a cup down and moving a rook piece into the camera as it all goes white.

"Well, I guess there is still a way for me to still enjoy chess...even if I lose..." Cal said. "You could always retire Chess, that way you'll still have your champion title, and can still teach." Mirabella said. Cal pondered, that wasn't such a bad idea.
