*Notes - I'm going to try a different format for the story. Please let me know what you think. I'm going to make the next few chapters be based around Naruto and Anko. I'm aware that she is currently 25 while Naruto is 13. The 5 year training will put him at 18, and her at 30. Something to keep in mind, while Naruto is only 18, his body will grow into a primal appearance similar to that of someone who is 20, and I'll give him more of a minato look opposed to the standard old age Naruto that we received in boruto. I hope you all will like this and please, all feedback is appreciated. One final note, if there are other Naruto fanfics you would like to see, let me know. It can be anything as wild as Naruto X Female Gaara, Naruto is adopted by Itachi, etc. I'm pretty much open to anything.

Chapter Six : The Fox and Snake

Both Naruto and Anko enter through the door. As they look around, they see a house that is no larger than a small shed. As they proceed forward, there is a sign that says, "Training Field." Another sign is showing "Hot springs." Anko smirked at the sight of seeing a hot springs sign. The two shinobi proceed through the small shed-like house and find that it was nothing like they assumed. Inside the living quarters had a door that led into a kitchen that would put most five-star restaurants to shame. The two doors that were next to the door that led into the kitchen was a room suited for both Naruto and Anko. They glared in awe as it was the last thing they expected to have. "I'm going to check out my bedroom and see what all it has. Apparently five days on the outside will result in us spending five years here. I'm curious how that's going to work." Naruto said with curiosity in his voice. When Naruto entered his bedroom, he saw that there was a twin bed, along with a desk that had books, along with many empty scrolls. He proceeded to check out the desk and found a note. "Naruto Namikaze. Here are the books written by your father, along with empty scrolls. These scrolls can be used for storage, jutsu, or notes that you wish to conceal. To activate these scrolls after they have been used, you'll need to create a password by using hand seals, along with a drop of blood. You'll find that this place will have everything that both you and Anko will need. The scrolls will replenish themselves, along with the food, and any damage done to the place will fix itself. During your time of meals, you'll find that the food will be prepared based on what you're currently craving. As you can tell there is no bathroom that is visible. Whenever you need to handle your business, along with needing a shower, all you need to do is visualize what you're looking for, and then you'll appear inside. The door that leads out of the bathroom will take you into your bedroom. Your clothes will immediately be cleaned as you'll soon learn that you will have an endless supply of clothes, and you may exit this world with whatever you use. We hope that everything will be wonderful for you and you make the most out of your time here. Love, mom and dad." Naruto looked at the note with all kinds of emotions flowing through his mind. He decided to check on Anko to see what she thought about the house. Anko was in the common area and announced that the couch is something she had never before felt. This made Naruto ponder because he knew that there was no furniture inside the common area. He then visualized a television. To his surprise, after he opened his eyes, a television was appearing with the local news. Anko looked at him with a smile and said that the place really is out of the world. Naruto nodded and visualized a desk that had scrolls and pens. When it appeared, Naruto thought about two chairs so that Anko could join him. "Okay, we're going to be here for five years, so let us go ahead, and make a schedule. Since we don't have to worry about missions or anything other than our training, we can have somewhat of a laxed schedule. I say we wake up at four, and do our morning training till eight. Then we can spend an hour eating breakfast. From nine to twelve, we can do our individual training. After we eat for an hour, I say we spend another four hours with our individual training. From five to seven, we do our conditioning, and then after that training, we relax and have supper. How does that sound?" Naruto asked and received a nod from Anko. Looking at the clock, it showed that it was four am. "Strange, I guess this world is everything that we need." Anko said. Naruto and her went outside and found that there was still only one training field. Naruto suggested that during their independent training, they can each go to one side, and if they need help, then they can call out to the other person. Anko nodded and agreed it was a good idea. "Now, Naruto. I'm still your sensei, so I will be training during our early morning sessions." Anko said with her famously known sinister smile. Naruto shuddered at the thought of what she would make him do.

After their early morning training was finished, they decided to go inside and have some breakfast. The two of them both ate dango and began to chow down. As they were eating, they both subconsciously had an entire conversation with each other. "That was weird." Naruto admitted and Anko nodded her head to state that agreed. "What are you going to work on for your individual training?" Anko asked as she took another bite of her dango. "I'm not really sure. I suppose I'll go to my room and brainstorm an idea and possibly build an entirely new fighting style." Naruto said as he too, took another bite out of his dango. This impressed Anko who asked if he had any ideas. "Yeah, I do have an idea. I don't know how well it will work, but I've got to try it. However, I'll need to break it down on paper so I can examine it. I want to use a mixture of the Yellow flash's Flying Thunder God jutsu, but use it like Shisui's body flicker. The problem with the Flying Thunder God Jutsu, is that it requires tons of chakra and stamina, not to mention that it requires a certain item to be placed with the proper writing on it. Shisui's body flicker allowed the body to dematerialize and then re-materialize in the place desired. If I could somehow create a jutsu that allowed me to make summoning spots available at all times, but also move at the speed of light, then I could easily outdo what the Yellow Flash did. Also, I want to create a few ninjutsu that I can use to further assist the completion. By doing this, I'll pretty much have my own jutsu style that is purely original. I'm also going to work on creating other jutsu that can compliment my fighting style." Naruto explained as he sat up from his breakfast. Anko slightly blushed. "Damn it, I'm not sure why, but him talking about creating his own taijutsu style and creating his own ninjutsu is something that makes me go wild." Anko thought until Naruto blushed at her. They both quickly exited the kitchen and went to do their own training to avoid any more embarrassment between their feelings for each other.

Naruto was in his bedroom and found a scroll that was labeled, "Flying Thunder God." Naruto opened it and was able to see the details on how the jutsu worked. "The user can mark a person with a formula and vanish to them instantly, thus allowing for the user to attack first." Naruto read. "Okay, that isn't a bad idea. How can I improve on that?" Naruto thought as he found himself spinning a kunai on his finger. Naruto looked at the different scrolls on his desk until he found one that was labeled, "Summoning Guide." Naruto opened the scroll and found various details on summoning different objects. "I can summon animals, spirits, reptiles, weapons… I can summon weapons! Okay, I'll summon a kunai. However, I want to summon a special kunai that was similar to the one Kakashi gave to me all those years ago." Naruto said. He then pulled out his personal kunai and realized that he had it fused with chakra to give it a sword-like appearance. Glancing at his desk, Naruto found another scroll that was based on creating ninja tools. After he reviewed the scroll, Naruto found that everything he needed to create the kunai was in the corner of his bedroom. Naruto began to visualize how he wanted his particular kunai, and decided it would be best if he was able to make two of them. "If I have one on me, I can use it for my attacks, then I can seal the other in a scroll. As Naruto began shaping his special kunai, Anko was outside and working on creating her own style of Taijutsu fighting.

"Okay, if I create my own style, then maybe I will have an edge on those I fight. Especially those who are familiar with my fighting technique." Anko thought as she punched and kicked the air with a mixture of attacks, and the occasional release of her serpents. Anko began visualizing an opponent and when he finished, she noticed a snake-like person that stood before her with a sinister smile. "Okay, I'll take you down Orochimaru, and defeat you with a style of my own." Anko said. A snake-like voice was heard from the summoned person. "Anko, are you really that naive? How can you possibly defeat me when your student is far superior than you?" Anko rushed at the snake person and they began exchanging blows with each other. Anko summoned a few snakes that had venom on both its fangs and skin. The snake person summoned a blade and sliced through the serpents that were charging. Anko quickly vanished and appeared behind the snake ninja. When Anko swung her kunai, the snake ninja blocked the attack and kicked her across the training field. Breathing heavily, Anko noticed a slight burning sensation in her neck as the snake ninja approached towards her. Anko went through a series of hand seals and sent off a barrage of snakes at the ninja. As they were being slaughtered, Anko thought quickly and used a fire style jutsu. The snake ninja evaporated and when Anko was sure that the ninja was defeated, she fell backwards on the ground. "I need to work harder and really give it some thought. I'll go talk to Naruto. Maybe he will have an idea and point me in the right direction." Anko thought as she picked herself up and proceeded to the house.

Naruto finished creating his two special kunai. He gave it a special edge that allowed major damage while slashing both upwards and downwards. In the center, it had a sharp point that would pierce through any material. However, if the user isn't precise, the kunai would break. Fortunately for Naruto, he was able to use his Mangekyo Sharingan to attack the proper angel. Anko knocked on the door and entered when she didn't hear him. "Hey Naruto? Are you busy?" Anko asked as she casually entered the room with her hands in the coat pockets. Naruto looked up and gave his sensei a foxy smile. "I did it. I created two special kunai" Naruto stated as he showed her the strange and unusual weapon he made. "Don't you think that might be inefficient in battle?" Anko asked as she examined the blade closely. Naruto chuckled and said, "That's the point. From the naked eye, it appears ineffective. However, if you slash downwards at this angle, upwards at this angle, and straight forward, it will give an effective attack." "But in battle, you won't have time to line your body up." Anko said in her challenging voice. "That's what it appears like. Since I have the Mangekyou Sharingan, it will appear easily to me and I will be nearly one hundred percent accurate on my attack. Really, it's only ninety-nine point three percent accurate. However, once I figure out how to remove the point seven percent, then it will be perfect." Naruto stated with pride in his voice. Anko smiled at her student and admitted that he never stops surprising her. "That's right. Naruto, I need a favor." Anko asked. This caught Naruto's attention because he knew that Anko hated asking for help. "I noticed you made these special kunai. Do you think that you could assist me with helping me build a sword that is one of a kind?" Anko asked with a blush across her face. Naruto smiled and told her to pull up a chair. "What kind of fighting style are we working with?" Naruto asked as he prepared to write on the scroll. "Um, I'm not sure. While I was training, I realized that the kunai that I was using, proved to be ineffective with the new style I was using. I then used the standard anbu sword, but it wasn't working either." Anko admitted as she rubbed the back of her head. Naruto put his hand on his chin as he thought about what his sensei said. "Okay, I got it. Let us go outside, we will spar and then maybe we can get an idea of what kind of sword to make." Naruto suggested. Anko smiled and the two of them exited the house and proceeded to the training field.

Naruto created two shadow clones. "We're going to start you off against an opponent with a sword, then an opponent without a sword. Keep this in mind, I don't have much of a sword style other than what Itachi and Shisui taught me. When it comes time to fight the clone that doesn't have a sword, I'm going to have it using my standard style." Naruto declared to Anko who gave him a nod to show that she understood. Anko charged at the clone of Naruto that had the sword. As their blades clashed, Naruto paid extra attention, along with the other clones he summoned before the battle started. As Anko continued attacking the clone, she was impressed by the defensive ability that Naruto had when it came to using a sword. The sword battle continued until Anko managed to pierce her sword through the clone's chest. Once it exploded, the memories of Anko came to Naruto. He smiled and told her that he has an idea. The second Naruto appeared and the original informed her that she was going to fight against the clone that uses his taijutsu abilities. Anko nodded and charged at the clone of Naruto. While they were fighting, Naruto paid close attention to the way Anko moved and how she used her sword. "Interesting…" Naruto said as he continued watching and created a few other clones to have more eyes inspecting Anko's fighting style. Once the clone of Naruto exploded, he received the memories. "Okay! Let's go back to the room. I've got an idea and I'll explain everything to you while it's being formed. The two of them quickly ran into the house with Naruto grabbing Anko by the wrist which caused her to blush. Once they entered the bedroom, Naruto and Anko sat down by the machine that created and formed the blade. "Okay, I noticed while fighting you attacked with a slash going across, along with slashing across the other way. We'll go ahead and make you a sword that cuts sharply both ways. Not that you'll do much piercing, but I'm going to form it with the ability to pierce through the materials. By doing this, you'll be able to add to your fighting style." Naruto explained. Not really understanding what Naruto was saying, she nodded her head as she watched the blade get formed. After it was formed, she smiled happily and hugged Naruto tightly to show her thanks. "No problem honey." Naruto said as he resumed reviewing his scrolls. This caught Anko off guard. Usually, whenever a guy gave her a nickname such as honey, darling, dear, sweetheart, or anything else outside the usual, Babe or baby. She would go ballistic. However, she actually found Naruto calling her that charming. She exited the room and told Naruto that she would see him at lunch. Naruto smiled and waved to her.

While Anko stood in the center of the training field, she realized that it would be difficult for her to practise fully. "Maybe he can teach me how to use the shadow clone jutsu. I won't be able to make as many as he does, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to learn. I don't want to bother him. I'll go ahead and wait till lunch, then I'll get him to help me. Haha. Dang, the sensei is needing the student for help." Anko laughed as she practiced a few different moves that went in line with her newly created blade. Naruto smiled as he believed he had the basic idea of his fighting style. "Okay, so I'll be able to attack from nearly all angles. I'll be able to mix my body flicker with it. Now, the only problem that I'm seeing is the accuracy of the summon. That's it! I'll create a kunai multiplication jutsu that allows me to multiply the special kunai and have it sent in the precise direction. Now, I'll have to figure out a way to mix the power of my sharingan with the kunai so that way I can have them scatter to the best position for me to appear." Naruto thought. When he looked at the clock, he saw that it was lunch time. Though he felt that his work was safe, Naruto decided it would be in his best interest to get in the habit of picking up his work. Deciding to go a second layer deeper, Naruto created a secrecy seal that allowed for the scrolls to remain hidden to anyone that wasn't Naruto or whoever he wanted to see. Naruto exited his bedroom and found an exhausted Anko sitting at the table with their plates filled with dango. "How did my plate fill up without me being here?" Naruto asked as he was shocked to see his plate filled. Anko smirked and said that after knowing him for so long, it would be an insult to him if she didn't know. The two burst out with laughter as they began eating. "Anko, I figured it out. I'm calling it the swift release. The idea is for me to use my special kunai to attack. However, I have my second kunai inside the scroll that will be my target for the manipulation jutsu I create. The next step will be to have them spread. Unfortunately, no matter how much chakra I have, unless I can mix the chakra from my sharingan to the kunai, it won't be one hundred percent accurate. I'm going to figure out how to fully use the sharingan to its maximum ability." Naruto explained as he stuffed his mouth. "That's really cool. I'm actually perfecting my fighting style. Once I have it down pat, I'm going to work on developing a few jutsu that go in line with it." Anko said with slight nervousness in her voice. Naruto gave her his foxy smile and told her that if anyone can do it, then it's her. This made Anko blush and the two of them finished eating. "Hey, I know we are supposed to do our training together, but I think we should continue working on our projects until they are done. That way we can spend our time remaining in this world, perfecting our skills." Naruto suggested. Anko smirked and nodded to show that she agreed with him.

Naruto returned to his room and found a scroll that he hadn't noticed. The scroll read, "Secrets of Kyuubi." Naruto opened it and then immediately, he entered a vortex and woke up into a strange room with a metal cave with darkness filling behind it. As Naruto prepared to proceed forward, a beautiful, redhead woman was standing with a bright smile and her arms crossed. "Naruto, I've been waiting." the woman said. Naruto looked at her with caution and asked who she was. After taking a deep sigh because she was unsure of how Naruto was going to respond. "Naruto, my name is Kurama. I'm the Kyuubi that was sealed inside of you. I'm sorry for all the pain that I've caused you." Kurama said. Naruto looked at her with eyes of caution. He then smiled and said that he doesn't understand why, but he feels that he can trust her. This made Kurama fall over because she was expecting Naruto to hate her. "I told you, the boy has a heart of gold." a familiar voice said and both Kurama and Naruto turned their heads. "Shisui!?' Naruto shouted as he ran up and hugged his older brother. Shisui gave Naruto a hug and he stated that he is proud of him. "I know things have been hard for you. But you are truly on your way to becoming a true shinobi." Shisui said. Naruto smiled and said that he's been working on a new fighting style along with a new jutsu that was based on him. This caught both Shisu and Kurama's attention. Naruto explained his Swift release along with the special kunai, and mixing the Mangekyo Sharingan with it. Kurama smiled and said that she would be able to help with her chakra and Shisui stated that he would be able to help Naruto with learning how to use the full power of the sharingan. This made Naruto happy and immediately, he returned to his room with all of the information that both Kurama and Shisui gave him. Instantly, Naruto came up with the idea to create multiple shadow clones. To his surprise, the bedroom appeared bigger so all of the clones could fit comfortably while they worked. As time went on, Naruto smirked due to having confidence in his new fighting style. Once it was finished, Naruto decided to record all the information about the fighting style and jutsu inside of a scroll. He decided to go with the name, Naruto, the Kyuubi Swift Release Style. He exited the room and noticed that Anko was nowhere to be found. When Naruto checked the training field, he saw that Anko wasn't around. "I hope she didn't leave." Naruto thought to himself and that was when he saw the sign that pointed to the hot springs.

Naruto quietly entered the hot springs and the sight before his eyes had him fall over. When he regained his composure, Naruto slowly peaked over the wall and saw Anko. Her body was stepping inside the hot springs. Naruto noticed how perfectly shaped her body was. She wasn't fat, but she wasn't skinny. Her legs and abdomen were perfectly formed. Her breasts were completely full and her hair had been tied up in a bun that had Naruto blushing redder than a cherry. Naruto managed to catch himself and he ran out as quickly as he could. "Anko is going to kill me! She is going to think I'm a pervert!" Naruto shouted as he ran to his bedroom and created a bunch of security seals that would hopefully prevent Anko from barging in and killing him. A few moments passed and when Naruto thought the coast was clear, he exited the bedroom and found Anko glared with a sadistic look and her kunai in her hand. "Um Anko? Why do you have a kunai in your hand and not your sword? Don't you think slaughtering me would be more effective if you practiced your new style?" Naruto suggested in his calm tone forgetting that Anko was livid. Her eyes opened wide and she looked down and saw that she grabbed her kunai without thinking about it. Anko looked at Naruto and rolled her eyes and went to her bedroom. Naruto shrugged and proceeded to go out to the training field where he was going to practice his new jutsu. Naruto pulled out his scroll and opened it and yelled, "Swift Release! Multiplication Barrage!" One hundred thousand Kunai appeared across the training field. He then shouted, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Over one hundred Naruto's appeared. He ordered them to attack him and whoever lands an attack will have an entire pound of danger to themselves. This surprisingly motivated the clones and they all charged at their master without hesitation. In that moment, Naruto had vanished and as he attacked each clone with perfect accuracy thanks to the Mangekyo Sharingan, along with its chakra fused with the kunais that landed perfectly for Naruto to reappear. When all the clones were defeated, Naruto fell over with the attempt to catch his breath. "Okay, the jutsu is complete. I need to work on my stamina, along with doing some more research to see how far I can take this jutsu. Also, being able to add chakra that allowed the kunai to return to me after it multiplied wouldn't be a bad idea. Finally, I need to activate the jutsu without any hand seals or speaking." Naruto said to himself. Naruto returned to the house and noticed that Anko was still in her room. "I guess she learned that the room will do whatever it needs her to do." Naruto said as he proceeded to his room. Naruto found a few new scrolls that were placed next to his scroll that he made in regards to his swift release. The scrolls read, "Jutsu without hand signs, Jutsu without speaking, Jutsu without appearance, chakra techniques for weapons, and girls for beginners." Naruto shrugged and ignored the last one and decided to review the scrolls.

Two days passed. Anko entered Naruto's room where she found him writing notes down in a scroll. "Hey Naruto? Are you okay?" Anko asked as she hesitantly approached him and found him glaring down at the scroll. Naruto looked up and happily greeted his sensei. "Hi Anko. Sorry, I was lost in thought about this scroll." Naruto said happily. Anko said that she hadn't seen him in two days. Naruto looked up and saw the time. "Haha. I guess I lost track of time while working on the scroll." Naruto said and when he stood up, Naruto fell to the ground and went to sleep. Anko shook her head with a smile and said, "Naruto dear, you're something else. You focus all your time and energy on what you care about. You could probably go days without sleep as long as you're focused." She then picked Naruto up and placed him in his bed. After she proceeded to leave, she found a special scroll that said, "To Anko Miterashi." Anko glared at the scroll and decided to go to her bedroom where she was going to review the scroll without anyone around. Once she settled in her room and laid in her bed, Anko opened the scroll and she was sent into a vortex. While walking around what appeared to be a sewer, Anko felt a dark but familiar presence down the hall. She continued to proceed into a room where she found a cloaked figure with an Anbu mask and a beautiful woman that had a hair full of crimson color hair. "Hello, Anko." the cloaked figure greeted her. "Who are you? Where am I?" Anko asked as she drew her kunai on instinct. "It's okay, you aren't in any danger. Actually, we're calling you here outside of Naruto's wishes." Kurama said. Anko glared with confusion at the woman. "Who are you and where am I?" Anko repeated and began to sound annoyed. "My name is Kurama. I'm the Kyuubi that attacked your village years ago. I wish to speak with you while Naruto is asleep." Kurama said with a warm smile. This enraged Anko and she shouted, "You're the one that made Naruto's life a living hell!? You told that to the wrong person!" Anko then rushed at Kurama with the intent to kill but had her hand caught by the man in the Anbu mask. Anko glared at him and he said, "Anko, please listen to Kurama. I promise, it will be okay." Anko glared at him and demanded to know who he was. The man took a deep breath and removed his mask and revealed himself to Anko as Shisui. "Shisui!? What? How are you here?" Anko asked as she couldn't understand what was going on. "I'll explain in a moment. But as my friend, will you please listen to Kurama?" Shisu asked as three chairs and a table appeared. Taking a hard swallow, Anko took a seat and sat across from Kurama. "Anko Miterashi, as you know, I'm Kurama, the Kyuubi. I'm not here to attack you or beg for forgiveness. I'm here to tell you what you need to know." Kurama said warmly. Anko raised one of her eyebrows and crossed her arms. "Minato Namikaze is Naruto's father. Kushina Uzumaki is Naruto's mother. Unlike most people, Naruto has three kekkei genkais. I'm sure you're familiar with the Swift release that he created. While it isn't original, Naruto is the last shinobi alive to use that kind of jutsu. Minato and Shisui were also users of it. However, Naruto just gave it a name. The second kekkei genkai is the Namikaze love. When it comes to a person's personality, it's usually optimistic, cheerful, and always keeps a good vibe." Kurama explained. "Yeah? I know, Naruto is a really sweet and kind person. I couldn't think of anyone that would want to be away from Naruto if he didn't have you inside of him." Anko said coldly. Shisui gave Anko a depressed look. "Anko, I know you're on edge. But please, give her more time to talk to you. I was iffy at first, but once I spoke with her, I had a better understanding and my anger faded away." Shisui said. "Go on." Anko said coldly as she crossed her leg over the other while glaring at Kurama. "Naruto has a third kekkei genkai. This bloodline is known as the bond bloodline. The bond bloodline is that of the Uzumakis. In most cases, pure blood uzumakis only have fifteen percent to have it. With Naruto, it was less than a one percent chance of having it. What is important, Naruto has it. When both Shisui and I looked into Naruto's mind and heart, we saw that he had one bond. One bond only. That bond is with you. You're the only person that Naruto truly trusts and cares about. While he cares about his friends such as Kakashi, Hiruzen, Yamato, and Itachi, he loves you. Naruto's chakra activated on its own on the day that you took him in as his sensei. Haven't you noticed that you had a strong feeling towards him? His bond reached you." Kurama continued explaining. Anko jumped up and shouted, "Wait!? You mean to say my feelings are only connected to him because of his stupid bloodline!?" Kurama gave Anko a soft and warm smile. "No, Anko. Your chakra accepted it. Not only did it accept it, it gave its own bond. While you and him aren't married or even in a relationship, you have become an uzumaki by spirit. Your love for him is pure and genuine. On the right side of your neck, if you look in the mirror, you'll see the swirl is bright and red. That's the mark of an Uzuamki's imprint. He imprinted on you when the bond was established. You never realized it because it wasn't visible till now. Some consider it a curse, but those who are connected by the bond understand. While you have no history or understanding of the Uzumaki bloodline, you aren't opposed to having that mark. Even if you declared that you are, you and I both know that it would be a lie. Anko, if you were to die right now, then Naruto would too. Once you two are married, then it will be the same for him. I wanted to tell you this information but I had to wait for Naruto to fall deep asleep. That is why I gave him my chakra to stay up for two days straight. When you entered the room, I pulled back my chakra and he fell asleep." Kurama finished saying. Anko glared at Kurama as she tried to take in all the information. "Okay, while this is the wildest thing that I've ever heard, I understand it. Shisu! Why and how the hell are you here?" Anko asked while trying to make sense of everything. "It's similar. When I was on my deathbed, I gave Naruto my sharingan. When I wanted him and Itachi to kill me, it was so the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan would be awoken. Little did I know, Itachi's blow wasn't fatal, but Naruto's was. On my body, I also have a swirl. But it was for a different reason. Naruto considered me to be his first older brother for some reason. When that happened, I was able to merge my spirit with his.
