Let me give you a bit of background before you dismiss this book. I promise this is legit, or as legit as I can make it, being only one person.

Padme Amidala built bridges with people, especially with her 4th grade students. When new student Ahsoka joins her class, she is ready to start building a bridge to the young girl. Anakin Skywalker doesn't trust easily, especially when his little sister is involved. But he's drawn to the 4th grade teacher and willing to trust Padme with the darker battles his family is facing.

She tries to survive with the help of her old friends - Rex and Barriss - and her new one, Anakin. Or: Ahsoka has an abusive father and Rex, Anakin and Padme all adopt Ahsoka as their little sister.

This is a series of one-shots revolving around Ahsoka, Anakin, Obi-wan and Rex. I suck at summaries but this is just a lot of hurting and then healing.

In the aftermath of the Chancellor's failed attempt at Order 66, where Anakin briefly falls but is brought back, he resigns from the Jedi Order. He adjusts to civilian life, gets a job at a postal office, and travels the galaxy, writing letters to both new and familiar faces, re-learning what it means to love. All while taking care of his family and reclaiming old friendships.

As the name implies, this is a fic about Obi-Wan taking on another apprentice. Simply put, I'm taking the throwaway line form the 2008 Clone Wars special, and making it a reality. Anakin still get's Ahsoka, but now Obi-Wan gets a Padawan as well. (The guy in the cover image.)
