After saving another galaxy from Hell's invasion by Emperor Palpatine. The Doom Slayer was given the chance to go home, but a glitch affected the portal sending him along with Jeff & Gary into the Halo universe.

Hell no longer could Deal with the Doomslayer. He was too much. They also feared killing him as to be trapped with his soul. So they sent him away. A drift in the stars for hundreds of years till eventually he was discovered by Infinity.

Master Chief and Cortana ends up being caught in the center of a fight between the UAC on planet Argent and the Covenant Remnants, leading the covenant here by a being disguised as a Promethean who wishes to get to this planet and reach to this gate which might end up bringing hell to both races. If Chief doesn't stop him then he will bring an army worst than the Flood.
