[Pricefield ftw, NSFW, smut] Story picks up at the end of Episode 3 after Chloe and Max have a heated argument in Chloe's truck. Some angst, some sweetness, and a lot of self-questioning. (Edit: and some plot yo)

The world is full of supernatural creature, one such being the vampire. They lurk in the shadows, waiting to feed off of the life force of their unsuspecting victims. This is exactly the fate that falls upon Max Caulfield when a hungry vampire targets her. Instead of death, however, she has to deal with something much stranger. Max must learn how to go on living after her loss. This story will follow her and several other characters during the years following the Sacrifice Chloe ending. There is heavy subject matter such as grief and attempted suicide, but there are also happier and funnier moments as well. References Pricefield and is planned to eventually contain other pairings.

Max was left with the grief and is learning to cope with the loss of her best friend, and what could have been more than that. Can Max ever move on from Chloe and get past the pain? Continuation after the ending of the game. Max sacrificed Arcadia Bay to save Chloe and now she tries to deal with the guilt. Chloe is by her side and what if, when she finally manages to help Max move on, Max finds a way to save everyone? Will she have courage to try to fix it all over again now that she knows the consequences?
