Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III was a pathetic excuse for a Viking. He'd always been the smallest and most gentle of the children, preferring to chase butterflies instead of learning how to thrust a sword. He was clumsy and uncoordinated, shy and modest. But despite all that, Astrid knew he was a really good friend.
