Sam's POV. Set in one of the earlier seasons (nothing in particular though, so no spoilers). Sam reflects on the cost that comes with the life he leads and wonders if it's all worth it.

It's been half a year since the fall of the Angels, and things are changing in the world. There are many Hunters that Sam and Dean have never met, including 17 year old sisters: Crissy and Cassidy. There really isn't much to see on the small strip of highway running through Idaho heading east to Wyoming. As the sun burns above them on the early Tuesday morning, one car zips down the straight and lonely road. The driver grips the steering wheel with white knuckles, driving with purpose.

In this epic saga, Dean and Cas are up to some mischief, as well as Sam and Satan.

The first time it happened, Castiel couldn't breath. The feeling was so strange that he had to wait until it had dissipated before he could move.

Dean is content with his life. The trials are over, Sammy is alive, Kevin is okay, and Castiel is on his way to the bunker. What else could he ask for? To put the icing on the cake, all he needs is for Castiel to return.

Dean finally gets the life he should have had, but he still has someone in his past that he can't let go of and he visits her on her birthday every year like clock work.

Dean begans to realize that the things he saw in 2014 are coming together, and has a horrifying epiphany. Destiel, but probably more in later chapters.

Dean, Sam and Cas are thrown back into the real world and Cas gets to meet his "fake" self's son.

"Well, according to the tablet – to lock the doors of Heaven, there has to be a final sacrifice." Naomi's lips twitched in a trace of a smile. "So, it only makes sense that there has to be one to unlock it, as well. The ultimate sacrifice." Starts right after the events in 8x23, Sacrifice
