Crowley had made him do it with her watching, the sadistic bastard. Now she was gone, and he had no idea where, and he was panicking because all he could remember was the look on her face when he'd finally put down his tools. If she had been captured again, he would never forgive himself. Then again, there were a lot of things he would never forgive himself for.

Dean vowed never to let anyone see what torturing made him become. Keeping that vow is easy, but stopping people from seeing what torturing did to him is harder.
