Strange Allies 10
Chapter 1
Hellsing
Alucard watched as on the large computer screen footage from the last battle with the Brotherhood of the Fang was played. It filled him with blood lust to watch as soldiers were slaughtered, only to return their supernatural opponent's fury with their own and slaughter them in return with bombs, guns, and some foolhardy souls even resorted to knives, stabbing their enemies in the brain even as they were bitten in half. He saw some cowards running from the terrific slaughter; and saw even more soldiers run into the jaws of death to save comrades that were already dead. It filled his undead heart with savage glee, witnessing all of the best and worst of Humanity in raw footage, a reminder of just why the only thing that could kill a Monster was a Man.
"This was Moscow seven hours ago. All of the enemy was eliminated, along with the entire army stationed there," Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing declared as she looked at Alucard. "I see. The Russians fought to the last soldier, did they?" Alucard said. Sir Integra nodded her grey head and said, "This is a pyrrhic victory for humanity. We are losing too many people. Half the Russian Army is now dead or AWOL, and they were our best bet for reinforcements on the frontlines." Sir Integra then clicked on her computer to show a map of the world. In every inhabited continent there were large masses colored black and white, the black symbolizing the territory of the Brotherhood of the Fang and the white symbolizing the territory still held by humans.
"They struck us hard and fast at first, and lost many of their own, unfortunately, this war is devastating the international economy in ways never imagined. Supply lines are cut off or destroyed completely, two billion people are dead outright, nearly a third of the worldwide population, morale among civilians is in freefall, and the remaining armies can barely stay in control. Even if we win this war, this will set humanity back for generations," the old knight declared. Alucard's younger Childe, Cameron Fenton, daughter of Danny Fenton aka Danny Phantom, swallowed and he saw her trembling in fear. "Now is not the time to panic," he told her, "This is why we are needed the most now." Sir Integra nodded, "It's only the efforts of Hellsing, Iscariot, and the Phantoms alongside the Guys in White that are holding humanity together. We need a victory, a large victory that will restore humanity's faith and hope, or it will be all over for us."
Sir Integra than clicked on the screen again to show maps of South Africa, Canada, and China. "There have been reports of more werewolves appearing. It is clear that the Brotherhood of the Fang is recruiting people into their army to supplement their dwindling numbers. They had planned on quality making up for a lack of quantity but didn't expect us to alert the world to their attack. They have paid in blood for every victory they have gained, they'll need more in order to hold their conquered lands. If we can find out how they are recruiting more werewolves and destroy it then we will weaken them even more. If we can gather more intel, then we can discover where their leaders are hiding, and cut the head off of these beasts," Sir Integra said.
Sir Integra then handed her vampire soldiers manilla envelopes, "This is all the intelligence we've gathered about the location and layout of the target areas. Study them well. You will be working in teams with the Phantoms, Guys in White, and Iscariot. That is all for now, the mission will begin in 27 hours, rest well and prepare for battle. And remember your primary mission: search and destroy."
Seras Victoria, Cameron Fenton, and Alucard all headed to the dungeons with their envelopes. "Come to my room, Seras, Cameron. We should discuss our mission together to more effectively coordinate our movements," Alucard said, and the two Draculinas followed him to his dungeon.
Alucard sat on his throne while the two women remained standing. He took off his hat and sunglasses and smiled at them. "This is going to be quite the slaughter, you realize that, don't you?" Seras and Cameron quietly nodded. He turned to Cameron and said, "Your family may die in the battle ahead. I suggest that you call them in case you have anything you want them to say." Cameron shook her head, "No. Dad won't let anything happen to Willie and Morgan. They're strong, Master, and the thing about halfas is that we only get stronger with every battle we fight. Dad's power has exploded, I have no doubt that he may be the one man that could destroy you, even with all your power. They won't die, no matter what."
Alucard's smile grew at the thought of Danny Phantom's power. "Good," he said, and Seras didn't think she liked the tone in his voice.

Danny Phantom, the Savior of the Earth, was not the boy he had once been. He was more aware of his age now than ever before as he used his Third Eye to sense the Halfa soldiers around him. He had grown tall and physically powerful, but constant battle had taken their toll on him. He was covered in scars, not the least of which were the burnt holes where his eyes had once been, wounds that his old nemesis Vlad Plasmius had left him, among others. His hair was now streaked with grey, and his joints were starting to ache when he forgot to stretch in the mornings. Heroism was taking its toll on him. And yet he had to remain strong, as the fate of humanity itself fell on his broad shoulders.
The soldiers were all specially trained in the Army's self defense courses and in the prime of their lives. But Danny had decades of fighting experience over them. They flew at him and he easily dodged them. They were flying through the air at hundreds of miles an hour, much faster than he had been able to fly when he first started, but he had only been a boy then, and never had any time to truly train as hard as these soldiers. All of them were dedicated to becoming as powerful as they could as fast as possible, and Danny encouraged them to try to master only a few powers instead of all of them aside from invisibility, flight, and phasing through objects.
Some of them were mastering ice, some electricity, some fire and one had discovered the power to control earth. All of them blasted away at Danny as they tried to land a hit on him, but Danny blocked all of their attacks with a spherical ectoplasmic shield. The soldiers outnumbered him, and were pushing their limits every day, but they didn't have Danny's raw power, and he blasted them all back with his shield. They all landed on the ground and returned to their normal forms, and Danny said, "Alright, that's enough training for today."
"Well Phantom?" the Commanding Officer of the Phantom Unit, Lieutenant General Janine Whitman. She was a short African American woman about 58 years old with piercing grey eyes and a presence that commanded respect. Danny sighed and said, "I'm sorry, General Whitman, but we can't make them stronger fast enough. Training will only get you so far, and we're facing opponents far worse than the ghosts I had to deal with. I became stronger by going through the fire, and always putting my life on the line. I'm worried that if we do that, we'll lose good people."
"Damn it," Lt. General Whitman said, "We can't spare them. We need people to see them in action. Morale among civilians is dropping like a stone, if we can't give them some hope that we can protect them from the monsters, then it could be the end of America, maybe all of civilization." Danny nodded, "I know." He looked at the soldiers of the Phantom Unit, and one of them said, "Sir, we knew what we were getting into. We need to do this. All of us have families that are counting on us." Lt. General Whitman said, "Dismissed. I'll have information on your mission at 0730. Go see your families before then."
The Phantom Unit got up and saluted their CO and Danny before leaving. "This won't end well," Danny told the Lt. General. Whitman sighed and said, "We need this. Everything hinges on it."
