Just as the Fourth Holy Grail War is beginning, fictional characters suddenly appear and start fighting in the open, each with their own plans and designs that get them, and their creators, caught up in the War. New alliances and rivalries are forged as mysteries arise as to how they appeared and why, with the secrets of magecraft and magic and the fate of the world at stake.
