Set in and around the events of my other story, Going On, this is the story of what happens after the BDM - from Inara's point of view this time. Mal/Inara overtones.

After the movie, I kept seeing flashes of scenes in my head, what came next. They began as a series of vignettes, but have come together to tell the story of the next year in the lives of these characters. Zoe-centric, but all the crew are there.

Post BDM. Another job goes south, but the lost pay is the last thing on Jayne's mind. Can anyone pull him back from the brink of despair? Not slash, just friendship/family. M for non-crew character death and heavy angst.

AU.The Tams didn't board Serenity on Persephone. In what other ways could they have met Serenity's crew? Zoe's stabbed, in an alley. Everything seems hopeless while she's bleeding out and waiting to die; until some unknown, unlikely persones saves her.

A short one-shot set during 'The Last Spartan'. A short conversation between Jayne and Zoe during the trip to Londinium.

"Tell me who you were before you became who you are."
