Tony Stark is very confident with those he trust by his side. Mostly he contributes his success to his girlfriend Pepper. Tony queda a una distancia bastante corta de él. De esta forma, puede notar la piel canela que contrasta con el cabello plateado de un modo singular; la curva de una sonrisa ascendiendo cual media luna en sus labios, sin mencionar sus perlas que brillan a la espera de una travesura.

Y piensa — pese a que su fe no se basa en la creencia de ningún Dios —: gracias por permitirme verlo una vez más. Para estar con él, para protegerlo, para quererlo.

Todo en él era dulce; y, a pesar de los años en los que Peter ha estado a su lado, no puede evitar pensar con cariño que dicho espectáculo en su cama siempre sería algo que lo sorprendería.

Peter, sin palabras sólo lo observa. Él piensa, que si bien no ha tratado a Tony Stark en persona, puede sentir que ya lo conoce; le gusta imaginar que comparte gustos en común con él, que un televisor sucio y viejo no lo alejan de la realidad en la que está ahora mismo.

Peter sabe que siempre será un recordatorio de aquello que quizá y pudo ser, porque no hay manera de retroceder el tiempo para volver a reunirse con él. Entonces, simplemente deja que los días pasen, esperando que deje de doler.
