This is a short poem I wrote today after watching Infinty wars, the best Marvel Movie so far, with so much that hit you emotionally and made you cry and laugh and bite your nails, sort of. Warning for spoilers for the Movie, so if you have not seen it yet or don't want spoilers Before you see it, better not to read it. I don't own any of the characters.

Tony lets out a little breath he's been holding. And he's trembling, but he slowly reaches his own hand out, tentative and uncertain, and brushes the fingertips against the Stranger's calloused palm. And the Stranger smiles a little, his eyes soft, and wraps his fingers around Tony's. (The one where Neanderthal!Steve and Home Sapiens!Tony imprint on each other like baby ducklings.)

Peter Parker knew the dangers of becoming a superhero. He just didn't know that those dangers would include so much pain, or that there might not be anyone there to pick him up when he fell.
