Peter could hear the bomb activate. He didn't have time to think, he barely had enough time to move at all, but he managed to shove Tony backwards, and use his own body to shield him from the blast as, what once was the pristine lab, exploded.

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, there was a scene towards the end that caught my attention. Tony and Thor destroy the the hunk of land crashing toward Earth, and we all see Tony get away semi-safely, but the last we see of Thor is him crashing into the water unconscious. The next thing we know he's walking around like nothing happened. Not on my watch.

In which Steve and Peter learn that the best way to get through a bad situation is together. And to avoid collapsing buildings. And that concussions are terrible, terrible things. Written because I love these two, and I really needed them in a fic together. Rated M for language.
