It was silent in the theatre.
When Poker mentioned that someone new is joining them in the theatre room to watch the show and watching Avatar Aang and friends on their journey, the audience began to ponder who it was.
When Poker said that the newcomer is male, they started to guess it could be Present Mic. Some think it could be someone that they met outside of UA, such as David Shield, who is Melissa's father. Others guess it could have been the number 1 Hero, Endeavor, but if it was him it could have been a bad idea since he might try to kill Poker in the process, thankfully it wasn't, and the last guess is from Izuku as he made a friend outside Japan named, Rody Soul, seeing him again would make Izuku happy.
But when the curtains revealed who it really was, their jaws dropped.
The villains were very happy to see him once again.
Especially Tomura.
"Presenting All For One." Poker presented the villain to the crowd, but most of the crowd went wild in anger. "Wow, tough crowd... or perhaps they're cheering, did Beyonce finally come to my Casino? Ooooo Beyonce, stay right there wherever you are!"
Before the Heroes could ask Poker, he disappears.
The Villains marched to All For One. "Sensei, how are you here? You know what it doesn't matter right now. Sensei, use your teleportation quirk and let us leave this place."
"Tomura, if I can I would have already left with the rest of the League, But the spirit, Poker is somehow not letting me. The only quirk that he lets me use is the one that keeps me alive." All For One said. He reveals a pink device and brings out his other hand only having his index finger out, as he uses the device that shoots out cotton candy. "He also gave me a cotton candy gun, I'm not sure why, but he's the spirit of temptation. Who knows what he wants?"
Himiko Toga raises her hand. "I think I know what Poker wants?" she smiles with a grin on her face leaving her to blush as she points to Tomura. "Poker has a crush on Tomura, he literally groped his pecs when we met him," she said, angering Tomura and making him mad want to kill her.
"Really? Interesting." All For One said, giving him an idea towards the spirit of temptation. Including what the spirit wants.
"Master, she's Lying!"
"Tomura enough." from those words Tomura went silent. "If it was a lie, why didn't Poker give him a shirt?" he asked the members of the league, but none answered.
Himiko continued to make fun of her leader. "Tomura and Poker naked on a bed, F.U.C.K.I.N.G." She continues to mock her leader. "Oh Tomura, Poker's manly man." She then starts making kissy noises and hugging herself.
Tomura went and chased the girl for mocking him. Dabi asks Tomura's boss. "I have to ask but what's with the suit?" he asked, wondering why All For One is wearing a yellow suit with symbols that you see in playing cards. The red diamonds, the red hearts, the black spades, and lastly black clubs.
"Oh this, true it's not really my style but it is nice to wear something else that isn't prison wear." All for One said. "plus I had this itch that I have since I was locked up in prison."
"All For One!"
The man only smiles hearing a familiar voice. "Dabi, take the rest of the league and go back to the seats. Poker isn't letting any of us leave until the show is over. For now we're going to watch Aang and his friends on his Avatar journey."
All For One turns around towards the man who called his name. "Long time no see All Might. I was expecting a letter or something from you, but sadly I di-" he stopped when All Might punched him in the face.
"How the Hell are you here?" All Might asks with barely contained rage.
"I miss you too." All For One said after recovering from the strike. "Although, that's a bad question to ask, how else did I come to this Casino, Poker brought me here just like everyone else in this room. Also, did you forget Poker's no fighting rule? You should follow the rules after all."
"Yes, he really should."
To All Might's surprise, he turns around to see the spirit. Poker trust her hand to his chest and pulled out All Might's heart out.
The chest of the formal hero didn't have a hole similar to what Poker did to Bakugo back in UA. His heart on Poker's hand the hero's heart starts to glow.
"I told you no fighting in my casino before the show started, and you broke that rule." he squeeze All Might's heart making All Might bend to his knee and he starts to scream in pain.
"All Might!"
Poker stopped choosing to have the former Hero to live. "For now considered this as final warning. Not just to All Might but too all of you." He cast a spell towards the heart shooting violet glowing strings to everyone in the room towards their hearts. Then the strings disappeared."
"What did you do?" All Might asks.
"Alright, I'll let you know so you can see." As he squeeze the heart making everyone from the heroes, the student and villains feel the same pain as All Might did.
He stopped making everyone take their breaths after the pain that they receive from Poker. "I enchanted your heart All Might, connecting it to everyone. I only have one rule and you broke it, but if ANYONE breaks my rule again. I wouldn't stop squeezing." He looks at his favorite 1B student Neito, the only child in the theatre Kota, and his crush Tomura. "It wouldn't matter to me if you're a Cutey patootie, a child, or my crush, I won't hesitate But to kill of you all."
"For now, when this is over that's when I'll return your heart and cutting the strings of connection, All Might."
He sighs, "what a disappointment, Beyoncé wasn't in my casino, also the next episode is about start to start so you better sit on your seats. BTW Itsuka, I like when you knock out so please do it again if you need to, just don't do it to cutie patootie over there." He pointed at Neito.
Itsuka, now afraid of the spirit of temptation, only nodded.
To All For One, he finds Poker interesting. A powerful being that can't be killed and has powers that aren't quirks or bending is one powerful foe.
But why have him as a foe, if you can have him as an ally instead. It made it clear that Poker has a crush or lust over Tomura. It made it clear that even the spirit of temptation can be tempted too like any human would. If his temptation is lust over his successor maybe just maybe he can make a deal with Poker.
For now he should enjoy watching the other universe, witness the power of the Avatar, and see if the Avatar's power is greater than his own. To determine who shall bow down if they were to ever meet.
As much as he loathes to admit it, there is no denying he cannot take the powers of The Avatar or any bender of that world. Even with his one temptation of taking anyone's quirk that amused him, like the Kitty cat's quirk that he took from the Pussycats. He must accept that he cannot take one's bending.
For now he took a tray, summon Wagyu beef to eat and red wine to drink as he sits down next to his fellow villains. the show starts to play.
And he begins thinks of a plan to win over Poker to their side.
Book: Water
The Southern Air Temple
Water.
Earth.
Fire.
Air.
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Aang can save the world.
1:41 – 1:48 (Remember the Audience doesn't see the episode title.)
The episodes start in a new area, and a new nation.
Instead of seeing the Frozen tundra of the South Pole. They get to see the new area which is warmer, with land, trees and a nearby river.
"Wow, a new location?" said Kota. "It looks really warm."
"You're right Kota." Izuku smiled at the new location.
Tenya nodded along, "It seems this was where they rested after escaping from Zuko and his warship. I have to say it looks nice and quiet." he said. "But I wouldn't set the camp nearby the river you may catch a cold, then again it looked like they had a campfire to keep them nice and warm. Not bad."
"Yeah, it reminds me of where I live with Pussycats, when they're off duty, Cousin Shino and the rest would sometimes have a camping trip by a nearby river. Like it was a mini vacation during summer." Kota said remembered the good times when they were camping during summer break.
1:48 – 2:06
"So we're going to see the Southern Air Temple, making it Aang's home." Aizawa said.
"It's just a guess but, I assume the campsite that they chose is located in the Air Nation." Midnight said.
"Besides being in a new Nation we could be seeing the other Airbenders." Vlad said as he started to whisper to his fellow teacher hoping no student could hear him. "I don't believe the crap that Zuko said about Aang being the Last Airbender. That can't be true, right? There could be Airbenders fighting the war at this moment? With the Water Tribes and the Earth Nation."
The fellow teachers listen to Vlad King. They do hope that the Airbenders are not extinct. Those are just the words of Gran-Gran and Prince Zuko, they are not really proof until they see it.
The reason why they are hoping isn't that they do believe they're not extinct, but for the sake of the hopes of their students. Each student from the 1st years to the 3rd years from Class A. and Class B. Including guests Kota Izumi, and Melissa Shield are hoping to see more Airbenders.
Kosei Tsuburaba, among all the students, really wishes to see more Airbenders.
Since the first episode, he's been inspired by not just Aang but Airbenders in general not just because of the similarities of Airbending and to his quirk. He really likes Aang and the fact that he is easy-going, the combat that he does not just want to learn but combat that he wants to master Bagua. Lastly, the cool Airbender tattoos he secretly wants.
Deep down to his heart, as happy he is that he is born to his world and to have a great quirk as Solid Air is. He couldn't help but to wish to be born as an Airbender and to be part of their culture.
2:06 – 2:16
"Well Sokka is tired?" Kyoka said.
Seeing Sokka sleeps in sleeping bag, Aizawa couldn't help but feel jealous that Poker didn't let him bring his sleeping Bag.
2:16 – 2:36
The Students and some of the villains couldn't help but laugh at Aang's prank.
For Dabi, he couldn't help but remember the good old times when he was still in the Todoroki house and remember the sleepovers that he and Natsu would have when they were younger he would prank Natsu the same way Aang did to Sokka.
That all change once Shoto came and ruined his life.
'Mister Masterpiece' he mutters under his breath.
2:36 – 2:53
The next scene shows Zuko and his Uncle in a new location outside the South Pole. Having his warship to get repaired.
The scene shows that Zuko doesn't want any word to spread about the Avatar.
"Uh strange, This is a war. He is the prince of the Fire Nation, should he be helping his nation's soldiers in the search and capture of the Avatar?" Spinner said. "If you think about it, if the whole Fire Nation soldiers are looking for the only person that could end the war and eliminate the chances of victory for the Fire Nation, The Prince should have told them about the return of the Avatar."
"You have a point Spinner, as soon as word gets out that the Avatar has returned every Fire Nation Soldier and citizen would be looking for the Avatar."
"Citizen? Why would the citizens hunt for the Avatar?" Spinner asks his magician friend, Mr. Compress.
"You know, if the Fire Lord place a bounty or reward money to the capture of the Avatar, I think the Fire Nation citizens would be interested in that idea, especially with a price money." said Compress
All For One may have other ideas. "Besides the reward money idea. Perhaps Zuko has other reasons why he wants the knowledge of the Avatar a secret to his nation. I think he wants the sole credit of capturing the Avatar."
"The question is why does he want Sole credit?" Dabi agrees with All For One.
The Villains think of the reason why Zuko wants the sole credit.
Izuku writes down on Zuko's page why he wants to capture the Avatar and why he wants sole credit?
According to the Uncle, Zuko is the 4th generation to hunt the Avatar among the past princes searching from The Avatar, such as Zuko's Father, the Fire Lord, who had attempted to search for the Avatar.
Izuku has a theory on why Zuko wants sole credit?
Theory one, he wants the glory and rubs his glory to the faces of his father, grandfather and great grandfather's faces that Zuko accomplishes something that the past generation of Princes had failed.
Or maybe he has other reasons.
'is Hunting the Avatar some kind of mission that is passed down every generation to their male heirs?' Izuku thought he wrote it down in his notebook.
2:53 – 3:05
A new voice has entered making him a new character.
A man by the name, Commander Zhao.
From his introduction, they finally got the name of Zuko's Uncle. Since episode 1 and the previous episode, he was only referred to as Uncle.
Izuku writes down his name including his past status as General and Hero.
Iroh.
'It would make sense that the Fire Nation would call their troops and the Fire Lord a hero to their eyes. While the Water Tribe, Earth Nations and the Air Temples would see them as the villain. Currently, everyone in the theatre room except for the villains would see the Fire Nation are the villains.' Izuku thought. 'The same thing can be said if the Water Tribes or the Earth Nation can be called villains if they were the ones who started the war. That would be an interesting scenario, or a fanfiction idea if someone wrote it?'
3:05 – 3:32
Commander Zhao asks the Prince and the Uncle why they are at his land? Iroh's only answer is that they're here to repair the warship.
When Zhao asks what happened to their ship? Zuko and Iroh made up a story that was right on the spot making it almost believable when Zuko mentioned that their ship got hit by an Earth Kingdom ship.
Their sorry alone made some of the students and some villains laugh.
Izuku writes down the proper name to call the Earth Nation. He writes down the Earth Kingdom on a new page as he gets excited when the show finally introduces the Earth Kingdom villages and the bending in action.
3:32 – 3:35
The scene was nothing much but it was just Zhao inviting them to drink. Zuko refuses but Iroh wants to show respect to the Commander, they both went to have a meal with Zhao.
To All For One, he knows that Zhao didn't just want to treat the Prince and the former general to have a meal. He can tell that he knows that Zuko is keeping a secret.
3:35 – 4:23
The next scene is back with Aang and friends.
It shows that Sokka is hungry and looking for food, when he gets his bag and sees that his Seal Jerky is missing, he asks his friends if they know what happened to his Seal Jerky?
The students laughed to find out that Aang accidentally used Sokka's food to make the fire last night.
Tenya was disappointed with Aang. "Next time Aang, ask permission first if you're not sure if it was okay to use other's stuff such as Sokka's Seal Jerky, now Sokka doesn't have anything else to eat."
From hearing that Aang created fire with Sokka's food. Dabi wishes he could do the same thing but with Shoto's soba noodles and instead of doing it accidentally he wants Shoto to watch as he burns his favorite food.
4:23 – 5:03
The scene shows Katara telling Aang that he shouldn't have his hopes up.
The students remember what Gran-Gran said about the Airbenders and being extinct, but just like Aang they all doubted that there is no way that Aang is the last Airbender.
They just want to hope that isn't true.
"Yeah Katara, The Airbenders could have all escaped from the Fire Nation with Flying Bisons. Plus I don't think the Fire Nation would have enjoyed climbing up the mountains of the Air Temples." Kosei said, hoping that Aang is right.
Kosei felt 4 hands touching his shoulders, it shows it was his friends and the class president herself. Sen Kaibara, Yosetsu Awase, Hiryu Rin, and class president Kendo, the four comforting Tsuburaba knowing that among everyone here he looks up to Aang and the Airbenders.
"Yeah, I'm with you. I don't think the Airbenders are gone" Sen said, comforting his friend from the possible dark truth of what happened to the Airbenders.
5:03 – 5:28
The scene finally shows the Southern Air Temple, Aang and Appa's home.
Everyone in the theatre room has their jaws drop to see the Southern Air Temple. Seeing that their home is on the tip of the mountain like literally on the tip. These were the temples themselves.
"It's so beautiful," Ibara said.
"I know right, I can see myself vacationing in a place like this," Setsuna said.
"Vacation, heck no, I'd rather live here. " Juzo said.
Kosei couldn't help but feel happy for Aang and Appa that they finally get to go home after the last 100 years.
Unknown to him a tear of joy fell off his face from his pure joy.
5:28 - 5:48
The scene returns back to where Zuko was. It shows Commander Zhao discussing that by this time next year, the Fire Nation would fully claim victory.
"So the Fire Nation is about to win. It does sound very troublesome and it took one hundred years to do so." Midnight said.
"But their scales would go down now, especially with the return of the Avatar." Vlad King said.
"You're forgetting something Vlad, Aang might be the Avatar but he still needs to master the other 3 elements, and I don't think Airbending is enough," Aizawa said.
"Aizawa is right Vlad, So what we know so far is the only chances to find a Waterbending teacher for both Katara and Aang is on the other side of the world, Aang ending the world will take time. For now, as much as I hate it, the Water Tribe and Earth Kingdom troops with the Air Nomads have to slow down the Fire Nation troops until Aang is ready."
All Might thinks of their situation, hearing Midnight's words she has a point as much as he hates it, but there is nothing that the troops can do but to wait for the Avatar to be ready.
He pinches the bridge of his nose. He thinks about the heroes that are currently here in the theatre room, he knows they could help to fight the war.
But as Aizawa said to Mirio, they don't have the power to enter a whole new universe. He even doubts if Poker has that such power to do so, but from knowing Poker for the last hour or so, he doubts that Poker would care if he has that kind of power or not.
he sighs and continues to watch.
5:48 - 5:54
The scene shows Zhao asking Zuko about Zuko's search for the Avatar.
"Damn it Iroh be careful next time." Toga said after Iroh trips some of Zhao's things.
All For One smiles, he had a feeling this may be the reason why Zhao treats them for a meal. "He wants to know if there's a new status change in the Avatar's whereabouts.
"So Zhao isn't an idiot. He really deserves his rank of Commander." All For One said
The heroes lean in closer to hear what Zhao is looking for from Zuko.
5:54 - 6:30
Zuko lies and says that he hasn't found the Avatar.
But from seeing Zuko shifting his eyes away from the Commander himself, Zhao could tell that Zuko was lying. In which Zuko continues to lie and says that the Avatar died a long time ago.
Izuku still wonders why Zuko doesn't just tell Zhao about the status of the Avatar, a Commander like Zhao spreading the word that the Avatar has returned would be easy.
'Why is it so important for Zuko to have sole credit in capturing the Avatar?' Izuku thought.
It finally clicked in Izuku's mind. 'Maybe him capturing the Avatar is not about the Fire Nation winning the war, maybe for Zuko, it's something else, but what?'
Izuku has a theory on why, but he needs to keep watching to get some answers, in this episode or the next.
6:30 - 6:51
Before Zuko could leave, Zhao's guard stops the Prince and one of the men to talk to the Commander.
It reveals Zhao's true plan and why he wanted to treat Zuko and Iroh to a meal. It revealed that Zhao's true intention was for his men to interrogate Zuko's crew about what happened to his ship, they told them that it wasn't caused by a ship crash to an Earth Kingdom ship but it was the actions of the Avatar.
"I knew there was a true motivation why Zhao wanted to keep the Prince and the formal general busy. He wanted some answers, and he got the truth about what happened to The Prince's ship" All for One smiled as he continued. "Now he knows that the Avatar has returned.
To the heroes and heroes-in-training, they worry for team Avatar now that Commander Zhao knows.
"Damn it, he now knows." Eijiro said.
"When word spreads that the Avatar has returned, the whole Fire nation would be looking for Aang." Fumikage said.
"This is bad, Fumikage, there is nowhere they can hide and nowhere to run now. When the news gets out like it was a tweet from Twitter." Dark Shadow said.
6:51 - 7:10
The next scene shows the Southern Air Temple.
It had the trio hiking to the temple. Some of the students laughed that the only thing that Sokka could think of was food.
"Seriously, you are the first outsiders to visit an air temple and the only thing you could think of is FOOD!" 1B students are surprised by what their classmate is saying, they understand that he looked up to Aang but they didn't expect him to be angry.
"Seriously, Sokka, I'm so jealous you get to visit where Aang was born, I would like to explore the temple, see the awesome view, learn some history, make new friends with Airbenders, join the Airbender in the hopes to get a tattoo, and maybe fall in love with an Airbender chick… but nnnoooo, the only thing in your head is Stupid Food.
His friends wanted to calm down Tsuburaba but they decided to let him have a moment.
And hope that Kendo doesn't hit his head for him to fall back in line.
7:10 - 7:29
When the siblings catch up to Aang. he mentions where everything was from, where to play Airball, to where the Flying Bison would stay to sleep.
But when Aang reached the part where the temple used to have a lot of monks like himself he started to miss everything that was in the Air temple, now it felt empty.
From hearing Aang some in the audience heroes or villains understand what Aang meant. To Aang, it felt like it was just yesterday that the whole temple was full of life, people and bison, but in reality, 100 years have passed.
The temple now feels lifeless.
to the students, including their guests Melissa and Kota. hope that their Airbenders did in fact escape from the Fire Nation. Somewhere deep down in the back of their mind they think that their hopes were meaningless.
To Kosei he feels sad for Aang, he feels sympathy. He knows the feeling of homesickness. When he and the rest of the students of UA move to the UA dorms.
At first, it felt fun living in the school dorm away from home and away from mom and dad, it felt so grown up.
Even with the fun living with your friends and fellow classmates, when the fun and adrenaline ends his emotions start to surface and he starts to feel homesick.
Kosei knows the feeling of homesickness and dealt with it.
He has to admit he has no clue what it would feel like to finally come back home and to see that so much has changed, he can tell that is what Aang is feeling. He imagines if he comes home to visit his parents he would end up feeling like Aang is right now.
When this is over wants to give his family a call, and see Aang his old feeling of homesickness starts to come back.
7:29 - 7:33
When Sokka mentions Air Ball it got Kosei's attention and he thought maybe seeing Aang and Sokka play Air Ball, it may distract him from his feeling of missing his parents.
Izuku gets his notebook ready to see Airball in action. He may not be into sports like some kids growing up, but he does wonder what Airball is like in action.
(A.N do you guys think that a sports game with quirks would exist in the World of MHA right? Not I'm not talking about the Sports Festival, but actual sports being played with superpowers. In Marvel Comics, The X-Men has Mutant Ball, the Baseball for Mutants a game with Mutants powers is fair to use. I was assuming UA High would have something like Quirk Dodgeball or something?)
7:33 - 7:50
The Audience witnesses the short action of Air Ball.
It showed Aang using his Airdend and the balls hit a couple of poles and it was the game of pinball until it finally hit Sokka.
Ending Aang with a score.
The Students laugh at Sokka's unfortunate fail as Goalie
Dabi laughed the hardest imagining Sokka as Shoto, he imagine himself doing the same thing that Aang did, but not with a stupid ball but with a fireball.
7:50 - 7:54
Shoto 0, Dabi 1.
Dabi remembers him winning after his meeting with his brother back in the camp.
7:54 - 8:10
After Sokka recovered from his fall.
He, Katara, the Heroes, and their students have their eyes widen to see a helmet.
A Fire Nation helmet.
That only left one fact that they wish it wasn't true.
But no wish in the world can deny them the truth of what they saw because it's the truth.
"Fire Nation, they have been the Air temple before." Itsuka said. She felt a tapping on her shoulder. When she saw who it was, it was her fellow Vice President. Nirengeki Shoda, has a finger to his lips and nose saying the universal sign to keep quiet.
"He starts to whisper. "Not too loud." he gestures to Kosei Tsubaraba. "I don't think Kosei is ready to handle the truth." Nirengeki said. "I hate to say it, but there is no denying it. But." he lowered his head trying to accept the truth even though it was hard to swallow. "I don't think the Airbender escaped or survived the Fire Nation attack."
Itsuka is still hoping for a small piece of hope that isn't true, but the small voice in the back of her head is telling her what is in front of her is the truth.
8:10 - 8:35
"Kendo, like Sokka said, we cannot protect Kosei from the truth," Nirengeki said. "He's watching the show like everyone else. I understand that he doesn't want to believe it and hope that the airbenders did escape. He can't keep running forever. Eventually, he bumps into the truth and hits him hard." Nirengeki, with his fellow 1B classmate and the 1A classmates, starts to slowly accept what Gran-Gran said about the Airbenders and their status of extinction.
With Kosei, seeing the Fire Nation helmet felt like his heart slowly starting to break, He doesn't want to believe it.
He doesn't want to.
"T-they may have been in the A-air Temple but it doesn't m-mean they killed the A-airbenders, that helmet is not 100 percent pr-proof. The Airbenders have Flying Bison. They could have escaped and they probably did." Kosei said. He was starting to tear up but tried to hold it in. For the hopes that Aang isn't the last Airbender.
Izuku seeing the 1B student trying to keep hold his tears he understands what it's like to feel like Tsubaruba right now.
He too is holding tears but not as much as Kosei.
8:35 - 8:49
Seeing Katara protecting Aang by pretending that she saw nothing.
Seeing this really struck Itsuka's heart like it was a rapier. She too is doing the same thing to Kosei. Sparring his feelings from the truth.
As class president, she wants to comfort her fellow classmate and give him a hug and let all his emotions out at the surface.
That was the logical part of her brain telling her.
Her heart, she too is hurting too.
She hoped that the Airbenders are not gone and survive and fight the war.
Now seeing the Southern Air Temple with lack of life she can tell that truth is true, and it sucks.
It sucked so much it made her angry.
She wants to unleash her anger, she wants to scream, she wants to hit something with her big fist, she wants to kick the crap out of the Fire Lord.
But unleashing her anger doesn't prevent the upcoming bomb that is the truth to both Aang and Kosei.
8:49 - 9:00
The scene now shows Aang introducing to the siblings' someone new. Well, their statues are not really the monk himself.
Kosei bows his head to respect the respectful Airbender that Aang introduces to them. Monk Gyatso.
Izuku, like the rest of the students, bows their respects like Kosei did and he writes down Gyatso in a new page.
9:00 - 9:12
The next scene shows a flashback.
It was clear that the flashback is from Aang, assuming it was a good memory.
It showed Monk Gyatso baking cakes with a gooey centre.
Rikido Sato of 1A is known for his baking skills and wants to get the recipe for Gyatso's cake.
"So the cake has a gooey centre and the frosting has a clear berry flavor. I don't know what kind of cake it is, but it could be a Sponge cake, or Tres Leche Cake with Air Nation's twist into it, I'm not sure but it could be either the two, the Sponge Cake or Tres Leche cake." Rikido said.
Poker suddenly appeared next to Sato. That spooked the boy.
"Poker, what the hell."
"Nothing much, I'm a person who likes cakes, and you are a great baker." Poker said.
Rikido only blush thanking Poker for the compliment.
"I'll tell you what, during the break why not I let you bake and try to create the cake itself. I think your classmates and the villain would appreciate your baking skills." Poker said. "Of course I would like a slice."
Rikodo blushed at the opportunity to bake. "Sure I would love to, plus not sure what Gyatso's cake really is, I do like the challenge to recreate it and make a twist into it." he said.
Poker clapped his hands. "Oh lovely, I can't wait for the break to start." excited for the cake, Poker disappeared.
(I think this is a good time to announce it, but I do have them to take a break from watching the show about ATLA and LOK. In which it's in the end of every 10 episode. Because ATLA as 20 episodes per season it make sense to take a break around the 10th, But when I reach to Lok the break time start every 12th episode in which it's the end of each season. The Interlude is a good time for them to actually talk about the universe and make theories, including my plot with Poker and his crew. For now let's continue the episode. Oh before I go, if your wondering what's the 10th episode of Book water, that would be, episode: Jet.)
9:12 - 9:30
The flashback shows Aang doubting that him is the Avatar. Gyatso Ensures the young Airbender that the elder monks didn't make a mistake but their only mistake was telling him in age 12, not in the age of 16.
"That's the monk's mistake telling Aang that he is the Avatar at the age of 12, instead of when he is older." Aizawa said.
"The thing is that I don't understand Aizawa. Why tell Aang when he's older instead of when he was younger? Like all of us at the age of 4 when we learn about our quirks?" Vlad King asks.
Before Aizawa could answer, Midnight was the one who step in to answer his question. "I don't think it's that simple Vlad." she said. "Learn that you have a quirk or to know that your quirkless is different from being born as the Avatar." She thinks of a better example. "Here, think about it like this. When people are born and get to a quirk doctor to see if they have a quirk or not. The doctor would normally say, 'oh your kid has a quirk with the power of so and so.' in the child's mind they would find it cool and exciting that they have a quirk. But the Avatar's case is different and cannot– shouldn't be compared with getting a quirk at the age of four. If you tell the kid at the age of four that they're the Avatar, by the way it's their world's closest thing to a messiah figure. Telling a child at the age of four that there is this great Avatar and it's their mission to end a war that lasted 100 years. It also means your placing a lot of pressure on the four-year-old. The literal weight of the world and the hopes of the people is on four-year-olds shoulders. I can't imagine if the child learns that their Avatar at the age of four would be feeling at young. Pressure, excitement?" She thanks a breath to finish her sentence. "I think Gyatso and the other monks waited for Aang to get older to tell him that his Avatar ensured that he gets the chance to be a kid, to have a childhood."
Vlad King understands what his fellow teacher has said. saying that you have a quirk and saying that your The Avatar is too different things. Being born to be the Avatar means you are destined to do great things, while being born with a quirk, bending or, being born quirkless/non-bender means you get to be a kid.
Aizawa Nodded what Nemuri said.
But two people listen to what Midnight said and they have personal thoughts that they want to keep for themselves, those being All Might and Shoto Todoroki.
For All Might, he knew it was like to have the weight of the world in his shoulders, The hope of the people went to him. That is why he made a symbol and the reason why he gave himself the symbol.
The Symbol of Peace.
He gave himself that symbol so when people look at him they would see Peace.
But unlike Toshinori and Aang there is a difference between them.
For Toshinori, he was born quirkless, his journey in becoming a hero came because his master Nana Shimura believed in him. She made him, her successor and gave him One For All, and because of One For All. All Might was possible.
He wasn't destined to do great things, he was chosen by Nana, if Nana gave One For All to someone else. The mask of All Might and the symbol of peace wouldn't exist if Nana Shimura gave One For All to someone else.
Aang was born as the Avatar. The Monks didn't choose him to be the Avatar, he was already born as the Avatar. Him denying being the Avatar makes total sense to All Might, because what child would want that pressure and the weight of the world in the age of four.
For Shoto, he understands Aang. He recalls from the previous episode Aang didn't want to be the Avatar for the same reason why Shoto doesn't want to be Enji's Masterpiece.
The difference is, Aang gets to be a kid and Shoto doesn't.
Shoto was a weapon for Enji to surpass All Might, something he didn't want to be, he wanted to be a hero but he looked up to All Might too.
Aang masters airbending at the age of 12, and he gets to be a kid too. Aang mastering airbending is probably not forced into Aang like how Enji forces Shoto to be trained as soon as he was born with two quirks in a young age.
He is happy that Aang gets to have a childhood, but Shoto couldn't help being a bit jealous of Aang, because Shoto didn't have a childhood, what he had was hellish training with Enji.
"People are not born equal." he mutters under his breath.
9:30 - 9:53
Aang asks Gyatso how would he know if Aang is ready?
Gyatso only replies to Aang that when he's ready he will meet someone in the Air Temple Sanctuary and He would help Aang when he's ready.
"So, there is someone that would help Aang in his Avatar journey, Interesting." Jorata said after sipping his drink.
"I wonder who it would be?" Reiko asks.
"Y'all do you think, He is still alive?" Pony asks her classmates. (I try giving Pony a Texas Accent, because she is from Texas.)
Reiko quickly covers Pony's mouth with her own hand. Has she whispered to her ear. "Don't mention someone being dead in the sanctuary to Tsuburaba."
It clicked in Pony's mind that she sounds insensitive when Tsuburaba is around when talking about the Airbenders. She only nodded and stayed quiet.
9:53 - 10:22
The scene shows why Gyatso made the cakes in the first place. It was revealed that The cake, even how delicious they are, was never meant for eating but for throwing.
Gyatso and Aang's targets were Other elder Monks. Kosei watched as Airbening was used to prank the elder monks.
Kosei and everyone in the room shared the laughter with Aang and Gyatso.
"Now I see where Aang got his free spirit personality" Aizawa sighs but he smiled and couldn't help but remind him of an old friend.
"Oboro" he mutters under his breath.
As the Flashback ended is showed Aang bowing down to Monk Gyatso's statue.
Seeing Aang bow to the statue of Gyatso and remember the old Monk from a good memory. Made Kosei happy.
10:22 - 10:28
"Hey, Tsuburaba?"
Kosei turns to see his friend, Sen Kaibara… "Yeah, Kaibara?" Kosei said.
"What do you think happened to Gyatso?" he asks his friend.
Kosei took a moment of silence because he wanted to be 100% okay with his answer. "Monk Gyatso… I want to believe… that he died peacefully… sad that he didn't get to see Aang is his last days, but… I want to believe that he was surrounded by people who loved him, and he loved them back… that's I want to believe, his probably right now in the afterlife with his Flying Bison, or reincarnated into an animal or something." he said with a smile. That Sen gave his smile in return.
(There is a theory on the internet suggesting that Gyatso reincarnated as Momo the Lemur. It's almost believable but I don't know you guys think? Do you think Gyatso is Momo now reincarnated?)
10:28 - 10:51
The next scene shows Aang and his friends walking to the hallway to the Sanctuary to see the man that would help Aang to his Avatar Journey.
"So we're now going to see the Man is going to help Aang on his Avatar journey, even with Aang's claim that the man survived the last 100 years, which I almost sound like baloney. It wouldn't have been baloney if I didn't just see a 112-year-old boy that can bend the four elements that ain't a quirk that could sometimes glow from time to time. I would sound insane back in our world." Vlad King said not believing what he just said, that made his student chuckle.
"Don't worry sensei at least are going to see the man that would help Aang in his Avatar Journey." Neito tried to cheer up his teacher but it did nothing to his teacher.
10:51 - 11:34
Seeing the big door that leads to the Sanctuary room.
The students are amazed to see the door.
"So the door can only be opened by Airbending. That is amazing." Melissa said. "Though with I-Island technology there are doors that can be opened with DNA scans like eyeballs or fingerprints. Using one's bending to open a door is pretty cool, though we cannot do the same with our world and quirks. Most everyone has a different quirk. I think the doors that can only be opened by one bending are either a unique door or a door that could be opened by a bender with the same bending, meaning a thief with the same bending can also open the door."
She continues, "In which it's possible in this world. I'm not sure if that door is a flaw or not."
(I know in the Avatar lore. Those doors that only the Avatar or and 5 benders with the same bending can open those doors, but they don't know that fact yet.)
11:34 - 11:50
The door opened and the trio went into the room.
But the scene didn't show what was inside the room; it was just blank and dark.
11:50 -12:12
The next scene went back to Zuko and Commander Zhao.
Zhao mentions that because Zuko failed in capturing the Avatar is not letting Zuko have him go and hunt for the Avatar again.
Hearing Zuko, Izuku learns an important fact about Zuko.
"So Zuko has been searching for the Avatar for two years and now that the Avatar returns he has a chance of success that not even the past generations could." Izuku said but it still bothers him. Why is the capture of the Avatar the sole credit so important to Zuko?
Izuku starts to think this isn't about boasting about his achievement and rubbing it on the faces of the past generations. He started to think it could have been more than simply wanting to get the sole credit.
Maybe Zuko's situation isn't that he wants to… maybe it's a situation that he needs to?
Izuku has a theory but needs to watch more on why the sole credit in Capturing the Avatar is so important for Zuko.
He almost forgot but he writes on Commander Zhao's page that his a firebender. In which he demonstrated in this scene.
12:12 - 12:19
The scene may have been short but it shows that Zuko is angry that Commander Zhao is not letting the Prince of the Fire Nation to hunt the Avatar.
"Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?" Mina asks anyone who could answer her.
Which no one did. Not sure what to say to the pink girl.
Some just chuckle from Iroh asking for more tea.
'I guess Iroh is a tea lover.' Izuku thought as he wrote it down in his notebook.
12:19 - 12:41
The next scene returns back to Aang and his friends.
Showing that the sanctuary room. Showing statues of…people?
"Alright, there is no meeting but, what's with all the statues? Where is the man that is going to help Aang?" Kosei said, sounding very confused about the room.
No one answers him and wonders if the show is going to answer some questions.
12:41 - 13:19 (The Avatar Cycle)
Everyone in the audience was silent to learn that the statues of people aren't random.
It shows that each statue was the Avatars themselves.
Seeing that the Avatars are not placed randomly, Katara mentions how the cycle goes.
Air.
Water.
Earth.
Fire.
Izuku has his jaw drop in amazement. "T-T-That's just incredible. So this is the reincarnation cycle?" He said.
"The reincarnation cycle?"
Izuku turns around to see who asked, when he turns around, he notices it was Tsuburaba asking Midoriya. "Please I want to hear your theory?" The 1B boy asks the greenettte.
Izuku was taken a back a bit, he was so used to Monama's awful mouth of insults like earlier during 1A vs 1B.
He continues to explain. "Sure Tsuburaba, from Katara's words and from what we learn about the Avatar lore in the episode. That the Avatar can in fact reincarnate. Meaning Aang isn't the first Avatar." Izuku said. "The previous life of the Avatar was a Fire Nation Avatar."
"Fire Nation? How are you so sure about Midoriya?" The 1B homeroom teacher asked the boy. Interested as much as his 1B student.
"Well from Katara." Izuku said. "According to Katara herself. That the Avatar has a reincarnation cycle. Like a circle. Aang is the Airbender Avatar. It makes sense he would already bend air because he's from the Air Nation."
He continues. "But if Aang passes away, a new Avatar would reincarnate once again, but this time as a Waterbender in the next life."
"It starts to make sense, from Katara she mentioned that the cycle goes as, Air, Water, Earth, then Fire. Then the cycle starts over when the Firebender Avatar passes away and starts all over again in the cycle with the Airbending Avatar."
"Meaning even if Aang passes away in the future, the Avatar would be reborn but as a Waterbender." Izuku was interrupted by Kosei as he continues. "So even with the current Avatar if he dies, a new Avatar would be reborn. That's amazing, it's too amazing. It sounds like the Avatar is better than All Might. Because even if the current Avatar dies, he or she would just be reborn over and over again." Kosie said his mind and everyone else's mind is just blown by the Heroes, the students and the villains are surprised by the Avatar and its reincarnation cycle.
"All the statues there all Aang's past lives, each one of them, and look their so many they have a different row on many floors and it doesn't end with Aang it keeps going."
Everyone in the theatre room is surprised, they know that the Avatar can reincarnate but they had no clue that he reincarnated so many times by looking at the statues. Everyone has their own personal thoughts about the Avatar reincarnation cycle.
For All Might, he just couldn't believe it, to see so many Avatars in so many lifetimes.
If the Avatar exists in their world.
They wouldn't need an All Might or Toshinori wanting to be the Symbol of Peace. Because the Avatar would always Reincarnate in every lifetime.
But because the Avatar didn't exist in their world he needed to create the Symbol of Peace and create the mask that is All Might.
As much The Avatar is needed in that world, his world needs the symbol even when he dies. One For All has to live.
To Bakugo, he can't believe the power of the Avatar.
Ever since he saw All Might and before he got his quirk. It was his mission to surpass All Might and to be the best by being number 1.
But he couldn't ignore the fact but admit in the depths of his mind and heart that if the Avatar exists in their world. He's wanting to be number one and being the best would be a joke in the eyes of everyone. Especially if the Avatar was reborn in the same generation as Katsuki.
If that did happen, he would never surpass someone who is truly born and destined to do greatness like the child once did in his or her past life.
As much as he keeps telling himself that he'll be number one and to be the best, he can't compete with The Avatar.
The whole world would look up to him and places their hopes, they'll just see King Explosion Murder as an extra.
Katsuki Bakugo is no one's extra, Avatar or Not, he'll not be some extra to make the Avatar shine.
He grinds his teeth and tries to keep calm because the Avatar doesn't exist in their world.
To All For One. If the Avatar exists in their world, his reign of terror would end even before it started.
He believes when quirk just started and his evil reign begins he knew that his evil reign would have ended by the Avatar. He wouldn't rule Japan, he wouldn't have the many quirks that he has now, no thanks the Avatar.
Thankfully no Avatar exist in their world. Just a 9th pest he needs to get rid off.
The past users of One For All tried to defeat him from his brother to Nana Shimura. None of his brother's successors failed to defeat him.
All Might may have been the one to lock him up, but his reign still lives with Tomura.
The boy just needs a teacher besides himself.
Tomura just needs a push with some help from Temptation.
With the knowledge of the Avatar Cycle. The video continues to play.
13:19 - 13:22
The next scene shows Aang looking at one of the statues of his past lives.
The Statue was a man with long hair and a beard. What's strange is that his eyes even glew.
"Who is that?"
13:22 -`13:45
When Kosei asks who the man is? His answer was answered by Aang.
"Avatar Roku?" Kosei repeats
"His name isn't even written anywhere, I wonder how Aang knew his name?" Yosetsu asks.
"I don't know, but this Avatar… Roku is in fact Aang's past life, a firebender?" his friend replies.
"Yet, the firebenders are the bad guys, Then again because Aang is the Avatar that means he can firebend too?" Rin pointed it out.
"So this Avatar was born in the fire nation and it was the Avatar before Aang, do you guys think he tried to stop the war?" their friend Sen asks
"Maybe he did, but failed or he died before the war started? That my theory?" Yosetuse replies.
The Heroes, Students, and Villains wonder what happened to Avatar Roku and wonder if he was alive and did he try to prevent the war? They establish that Aang was frozen for the last 100 years which is how long it lasted since it started. They wonder if Roku tried to prevent the war?
13:45 - 14:02
In the scene, the trio heard the noises that were coming to the sanctuary room. The trio quickly hides behind the statues.
Mineta starts to shiver that a Firebender is coming. Mina wonders why Shinso has to wait a whole year to be part of the Hero Course and why not just kick out Mineta, she's still angry that Mineta touches her inappropriately during 1A vs 1B.
"Firebender is coming," Minoru said scared of what's to come.
By looking at the shadow the students can say that's a weird-looking firebender, because the shadow looks like it has huge ears from an animal.
14:02 - 14:11
"I don't think that's a firebender Sokka? Shoto pointed it out.
14:11 - 14:19
The shadow reveals who or what it belongs to. It turns out that it wasn't a firebender. Like Duh, but it did come from a Lemur.
Kota and Koji have their eyes widened to see the Lemur because of how cute it is.
14:19 - 14:22
Kota and Koji have their smiles drop when Sokka calls the Lemur his dinner.
"No Sokka, don't eat the cute Lemur!" Kota yelled at Sokka to stop him. Seeing him defending the Lemur the audience aww towards the adorable boy.
Somewhere in UA, Even though time is frozen by Poker. A young little girl with white hair and a tiny horn on her head feels jealous of the shift of cuteness that went to someone else.
14:22 - 15:00
"Yeah, run Lemur!" Kota cheered as the chase of the lemur started. It shows both Aang and Sokka chasing the lemur, for two different reasons.
For Aang is to make the lemur his new pet.
While for Sokka, it was his dinner.
Seeing that Aang is chasing for the cute Lemur to be his pet and wants it to be alive instead to be served on a plate. The Students and Kota cheer for Aang to catch the lemur before Sokka does.
One of the scenes got Izuku's attention when Aang was running on the wall in his average speed, a very different speed when he went running towards the Penguin Otter from the South Pole.
"So I was right, Aang running on the wall and ceiling is due to his Airbending." He writes it down in his notebook.
Everybody's eyes widen to see something that their world's lemurs don't have.
"Are those wings!" Denki said, sounding very surprised like everyone else.
"Looking closely, I think they are, and they look very bat-like." Shinso said.
Sero throws his hands up. "It's official that this world has strange animals." Hanta said. "Do you think they have Flying Monkeys like in the Wizard of Oz? He asks
"I don't know and I don't want to bet this time," Denki said happily from his winnings.
The last scene ended up with Aang Chasing the Lemur by jumping off the cliffside.
15:00 - 15:10
The next scene shifts back to Zuko.
Commander Zhao announces to the Prince and his uncle that his search party is confirmed.
Hearing that Commander Zhao has a search party, it worries the Heroes and the students.
"This is bad, having a search party means getting away from the Fire Nation troops would be a lot harder than just running away from Zuko." Tenya said. "Even with Appa having to fly from place to place this made Aang and his friends' journey to the North Pole would be filled with a lot more danger."
"It was bad enough that they're running away from Zuko. Now they have to run away from the whole Fire Nation." Ochaco cried at Aang's unfair situation on their journey to the North Pole.
The villains smile that the Avatar is being hunted down by Zhao's search party. With Zhao's rank in power, they can imagine how huge the search party is.
"Yeah, party! I hope there's cake?" Twice said.
15:10 - 15:25
Even with Commander Zhao's search party, Zuko doesn't want to give up on his search and get the sole credit.
"So, Zuko isn't giving up on wanting to capture the Avatar." Dabi said. "For I prince, I thought he would like someone else to do the hard work and enjoy the luxury of being the prince?"
"Maybe there is more to the story Dabi, we don't know yet?" Spinner said.
Izuku prepared himself believe he'll be getting an answer on why Zuko wants to capture the Avatar.
15:25 - 15:45
The Audience heard what Zhao said to Zuko. He said that Zuko would have a hard time competing with Zhao, especially with the army of troops by his side.
That's not what caught their interest. What caught their interest is what he said next that got everyone in surprise. On why Zuko is hunting to capture the Avatar.
From the words of the Commander himself. the Prince that the audience watched for the last two episodes turns out to be not just the Prince of the Fire Nation, but the Banished Prince.
A Prince with no home, no allies to help him, and his own father doesn't want him.
That struck the students and heroes hard. True, Zuko is the villain of the show but there is no denying that he is also just a teenager, no older than their students. Heck, the same age as their students. To hear that he was banished some couldn't help but feel sorry for Zuko.
"So, Zuko is not just the Prince of the Fire Nation, he is also banished to his nation." Denki said feeling bad for Zuko. "I understand that he's the villain and all, but I couldn't help but feel bad for him."
Bakugo just scoffed. "Why feel bad for him, he's the villain."
Denki, some of his classmates, and some of the villains felt offended. "Don't you have a heart Bakugo? Who am I kidding, I'm arguing with Bakugo? Kacchan he's much as a human being as you and I are."
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU CALL ME PIKACHU!"
"Is your nickname the only thing you heard? Did you even hear a word that I just said, besides your nickname Bakgo?" Denki said. "I'm saying he is just like us, a 16-year-old teenager, like us."
"Kaminari, teenager or not, he's still a villain?" His teacher said.
"Is he really?"
Everyone went to look at Midoriya and hear.
"Shut it Deku, Eraserhead already called it so—"
"Young Bakugo, please let young Midoriya talk. Please continue my boy." All Might said
"Thanks All Might," Izuku thanks his mentor.
"Zuko might be the Prince of the Fire Nation and a Firebender, but being born in the Fire Nation and as a Firebender does that make him a villain?" Izuku said. "Sensei, I understand what you said back on the first day that The world is unfair, but are we being fair to Zuko?"
"He the banish Prince, during this episode, I kept thinking to myself why does Zuko have to capture the Avatar?"
"At first I thought he just wanted to rub his accomplishments on the faces of his father and the past generations of Fire Nation Princes who went to search for the Avatar and failed. When he didn't want to let the fire nation know that the Avatar is alive and wanted the sole credit. It didn't make sense until now."
"I understand why Zuko wants— no, needs to capture the Avatar. He wants to restore his honor back." Izuku continues. "He's doing this not because he wants to, but he needs to. Just for his dad to be proud of him, If you ask me who's the real villain is? I don't think it's Zuko, I think it's the Fire Lord, Zuko's father."
"Midoriya, by capturing the Avatar, means the Fire Nation will win the war." Aizawa said.
"But you didn't answer my question sensei, is being born in the Fire Nation or born as the firebender does that automatically make them the villain?" he asked his teacher but Aizawa didn't answer but listened.
"I think the problem here sensei is we're thinking all of this in our world's perspective, not their world's perspective." Izuku said. "In our world, it's easy to say who's the hero and who's the villain, but in that world, it's not simple. I don't think calling Zuko a villain is unjustified and calling all none-firebenders heroes. Like Sokka for example, a non-bender of the water tribe isn't born with Waterbending. The same thing can be said with a non-bender who is a Fire Nation citizen."
"Are you telling me that a citizen born as a non-bender in the Fire Nation is automatically a villain from birth? it isn't fair."
"Midoriya we're not talking about the citizens Midoriya. The citizens of any nation, Earth Kingdom, Water Tribe, The Air Nomads, or Fire Nation are still innocent until proven guilty of any crime. Zuko has a mission to capture the Avatar to win the war." Aizawa said. "It is quite similar to The League of Villains' mission back in the USJ to kill All Might or their mission to capture Bakugo. If Zuko succeeds to get his honor back, it also leads to victory for the Fire Nation. So furthermore, to answer your question. No The Fire Nation as a whole aren't villains. The troops like Commander Zhao, and Formal General Iroh are doing orders but the real villain is clearly the Fire Lord."
"But Sensei—"
"That's Enough Midoriya." Aizawa took a deep sigh before continuing to say to the greenette. "Look I understand you have a good heart, a good understanding of justice and I understand that. The problem is, Zuko's situation isn't easy, capturing the Avatar to restore his honor and to finally get home sounds easy, but it is really complicated."
" True, Hero work and fighting in a war is different. Your right in this war, the Hero versus Villain conflict is completely different. You cannot simply fall for each sob story you hear. I understand it's not easy and it's not fair. It's our job to make it fair. Even it means locking them behind bars."
He sighs again. "If I was there in that world, true my quirk won't work in any bending, but I'll make sure that Zuko or Zhao won't be able to capture the World's only hope to stop this war. In which it's a 122-year-old Avatar in the body of a 12-year-old."
Izuku has a lot more to say, but Aizawa has enough. Zuko's situation is really unfair. For now he can't help and has to continue watching
15:45 - 16:02
Zhao continues to insult Zuko, saying that if the Fire Lord really cares for Zuko he would allow Zuko to come home, Avatar or no Avatar. Even calling Zuko a failure and a disgrace to the Fire Nation.
He even pointed out that Zuko's scar is proof that the Fire Lord doesn't want Zuko.
Hearing that Zuko's only key to come home back to the Fire Nation is the capture of the Avatar.
The audience understands that if someone else like Zhao captures the Avatar. His chances of coming home would have been non-existence if Zuko failed to capture the Avatar.
"That's it, isn't it? Why Zuko has to capture the Avatar? He does not just want his father to be proud of him but, it's his only way to come home to the Fire Nation." Ochaco said still not believing what she was hearing.
"Yeah, it's awful," Izuku said. "I can't believe the Fire Lord would give his son an impossible mission."
"Impossible Misson? What do you mean Midoriya?" Izuku looked at his friend Shoto Todoroki as he explained.
"Zuko's mission was impossible to complete."
"I don't get it Deku? What do you mean?" Ochaco asks.
"Think about it, Zuko is been hunting the Avatar for the last 2 years, he was searching for the Avatar possibly around the world, such as the Air Temples, The Earth Kingdom, lastly both the South and the North Pole, and during that journey, there wasn't any progress." Izuku said. "Until Katara and Sokka freed Aang from the Iceberg. Zuko being in the South Pole was pure luck. If Sokka and Katara weren't there fishing and didn't destroy an iceberg on that day. Aang and Appa would still be frozen underwater, Zuko wouldn't find Aang on the South Pole, and the world continues to lose hope and the Fire Nation would have won if Aang stayed in the Iceberg."
He closes his eyes thinking of the right words to say before he continues. "Believe it or not, the world gain hope again when Aang was freed from the iceberg, and among those people who were given hope was Zuko. Look, I understand Zhao or Zuko capturing the Avatar is a bad thing because it means the Fire Nation would win, but I couldn't help but feel bad for Zuko because capturing the Avatar means it's his only chance to come home." Izuku finally finishes his sentence took a moment to rest his mind, throughout this scene with Zuko he understands the need to capture the Avatar. The idea of capturing the Avatar became a double edge sword. One side of the blade point means Zuko can come home by capturing Aang On the other side of the blade point ensures the victory of the Fire Nation.
A part of him wants Zuko to finally get home but doing so also means victory to the Fire Nation.
Izuku's brain feels tired after all the thinking of theories throughout this episode alone, maybe if Poker gives them a break maybe he could make a discussion with his classmate about other ways that Zuko could come home without the victory of the Fire Nation.
He whispers to his cup and his drink transforms into Jasmine tea to relax his mind.
"What can of Father would send their own son into an impossible mission?" Uraraka asks.
"A bad one." Shoto said under his breath making sure no one hears him.
Hearing about the Fire Lord and the fact that he sent his son on an impossible mission in order to restore his honor and his only chance to come home again. Shoto couldn't help but compare the Fire Lord with his own father, Enji.
It's starting to feel a bit creepy that Zuko has a similar facial scar on the same spot of his face and now another similarity with bad fathers, first was Enji now the Fire Lord.
He did the same thing that Midoriya did by whispering his cup his drinking transformed into Jasmine tea to relax the mind.
16:02 - 16:15
The scene shows that Zuko had enough of Zhao belittling him, it ended up with the Prince challenging the Commander to a fight, an Agni Kai.
"So we're going to see the two Firebenders in action." Dabi said as he gets ready to watch.
"Yeah, and Zuko calls it an Agni Kai. I wonder what it means?" Spinner asks.
The villains and the heroes get ready to see their first ever Agni Kai.
16:15 - 16:24
The scene shows a close up of Zuko's scar. That Iroh mentions the last time when Zuko challenge a master.
Ever since Zuko was introduced during the pilot episode. Shoto wonders how did Zuko got his scar? He got a small answer that a Firebender Master gave him his scar.
Shoto was starting to make a theory because of the similarity that he has with Zuko he starts to think that one of his parents gave him the scar, but it turns out it was just from a master.
Seeing that Zuko challenge Zhao to a fight, he starts to think that an Agni Kai is a fire duel in which the winner must scar his or her opponent with their fire.
Now he wonders who is this master that scar Zuko and how he lost the Agni Kai?
Perhaps the answer will show in this episode or an episode later on?
16:24 - 16:31
The Scene shifts back to Aang and the Lemur.
"Finally we're back with Aang, and look the Lemur enters that small… cave?" Kosei said happily that Aang is making a new friend and it's the Lemur, he just wants him to catch the Lemur and be part of the group.
Kosei starts to think of a good name for the Lemur? He thought of the name WizardWolf then he scratch that name and think of a different name after they catch the Lemur.
"Come on Catch the Lemur!" Kota, and Kosei cheer for Aang.
16:31 - 16:43
When Aang enter where the Lemur went it turn out it wasn't a cave but curtains.
When he opened the second curtain. Kosei, Kota and everybody in the room were shocked to see dead bodies That belong to the Fire Nation.
"There are so many bodies," Kota said never seeing so many dead bodies in his young life before. Midoriya quickly hugs the boy and tries to cover his eyes, but it was too late the boy seen the truth behind the curtains.
Kota couldn't look away. He has already seen the dead bodies he wants to see the truth even how dark and mess up it is.
16:43 - 16:53 (Gyatso's corpse)
Looking around the room they saw the many dead Firebenders in their red armor. Kosei notice that not every skeleton was wearing red.
One of the skeletons was wearing the same orange color clothes that Aang wears the signature colors of the Airbenders.
Kosei's eyes start to tear up and he cannot hold his tears any longer.
When looking closely at the skeleton he sees that the skeleton was wearing a necklace.
A familiar necklace that he remembers from the flashback and the statue of a monk who is a father figure to Aang.
"Gyatso." Kosei and Aang said in the same time when they recognize the necklace. The students and the heroes are heartbroken to see Gyatso's skeleton.
The Heroes and Students were outraged to see what the Fire Nation did to commit genocide against a whole nation of Airbenders.
Some of the students such as Mirio start to stand up and talk about the injustice that Fire Nation did.
To Kosei he didn't hear the conversation between the Heroes, The villains and his classmate. Kosei was heartbroken to see Gyatso's lifeless body. On his mind was the emotional turmoil that he feels in his chest. He feels his anxiety rise, throughout the episode and the previous episodes he wished that the Airbenders are not extinct, he wanted to believe that even if the Fire Nation end up reaching the Air temples would have a fighting chance to survive and escape.
Seeing Gyatso's body all of that hope that he built so hard was shattered in an instant.
Kosei will never see another Airbender, Aang is all alone the last of the Air Nation, the Last Airbender.
Kosei couldn't imagine how he felt losing the Airbender and to imagine that his the last one in his culture. He doesn't imagine that happening to him. Him becomes an orphan, him being the last member of the Hero Course, the last person in his country.
Kosei falls out of his seat as he let out all his tears and not caring that his tray messes with his food. He feels what Aang is feeling, all that loss, all that grief. Kosei feels like he's drowning from his own grief and when he tries to bring himself up, this feeling just pushes him down again.
Kosei covers his mouth as he feels something rushing up to his throat and wanting to come out his mouth.
He was going to throw up. He heard a voice telling him that there is a washroom through the walls of the theatre room.
He ran through the wall and enter a washroom, he ran to the closest toilet and throw up his vomit.
"Poker! Where did my student go!" Vlad King shouted for the spirit.
Poker appears next to the hero and he ensures the Hero that Kosei is fine and that he's throwing up, he'll come back to the theatre when his ready. He pointed at Sen Kaibara, Hiryu Rin and Yosetsu Awase. "I suggest for you three to comfort your friend, right now he needs the three of you the most."
Sen and his two other friends went through the wall because their friend is hurting.
(For the next few scenes Kosei and his friends wouldn't be joining us for a while in this episode, don't worry they'll come back. It's just Kosei isn't ready to come back yet. for now let's continue the episode.)
16:53 - 17:43
The scene shows Sokka finally reaching Aang and said that he was only joking that he wasn't planning to eat the Lemur. When he saw the Firebenders' corpses bodies and saw Gyatso's body he tried to have Aang get away from his spot.
He tried but failed as Aang starts to glow. Seeing the glow brought bad news to everyone.
"Oh shit." Aizawa said thinking that Aang's emotions trigger the glow.
Seeing the glow on Aang the scene shows that Aang isn't the only one glowing. Back in the sanctuary room with Katara all the Avatar Statues starts to glow as well.
Izuku has no clue why the Statues are glowing as much as Aang is he writes it down in his notebook.
Everyone has their jaws dropped to see it wasn't just the Statues in the Southern Air Temple but to around the world with their own tribute to the Avatar and civilians inside the Avatar shrines and realize that the Avatar has returned.
"Now the whole world knows that the Avatar has returned." Fumikage said.
17:43 - 18:00
The next scene shows Aang and the glow in his strongest.
"So this is the potential of the Avatar, the glow is like a power boost," Aizawa said. "His Airbending got a boost, it's stronger than before."
"Magnificent, the power of the Avatar." All for One said feeling amazed by the power of the Avatar. True, he may have many power quirks, but the glow outshines the quirks that he took. This is just Aang and his Airbending imagine what he can do with all four elements with the power of the glow.
As Powerful as All For One is he cannot take his power because it's not a quirk and he cannot win against the Avatar. Even if he manages to kill the current Avatar, a new younger Avatar would be born.
Izuku writes down more info about the glow and makes theories about what the glow can do if Aang masters all four elements.
18:00 - 18:20
When Katara finally reaches her brother and Aang.
Sokka mentions that the glow was triggered when he learns the truth about Gyatso.
Her suggestion is to try to calm down Aang.
"Is she crazy, if she gets close she would be blown off the mountain if she gets near Aang!" Jozu said.
"I know it's crazy because Aang is in his strongest. Katara sees that Aang is also hurting inside just like Tsuburaba is right now. Just like Kaibara, Rin, and Awase. Katara is trying to comfort Aang when he is most hurt, I would have done the same. I should have done the same thing and went with Kaibara and the others, our fellow classmate is hurt too as much as Aang is." Kendo said. "True, What the Fire Nation did was horrible but there is nothing we can do about it, what he could do is help Tsuburaba right now like how Katara is helping Aang."
She stood up and start walking to the washroom. "Anyone can join me and help our classmate, or stay here and watch the show."
The entire 1B stood up and went to help Kosei get over his grief to watch what happened to the Airbenders.
(Just like Kosei, 1B wouldn't be joining the theater until Kosei is ready to come back.)
18:20 - 18:27
The next scene shows it return back to Zuko and Zhao. Some of the audience didn't like that show shift to this scene. Some we're excited to see an Agni Kai in action.
They wonder who would win The Banished Prince or the Commander.
The Todoroki brothers are looking forward to seeing the two Firebenders in action in an Agni Kai.
18:27 - 18:38
Izuku starts to blush when he saw Zuko shirtless.
He couldn't help but imagine Zuko and replace him with his crush, Shoto Todoroki in that precision.
He starts to notice that he starts to drool and he wipes out his drool. He covers his pants and hopes no one notices his growing baby carrot in excitement.
18:38 - 18:44
"So the Agni Kai starts!" Dabi said.
18:44 - 19:20
The Agni Kai started.
It shows Zuko shooting some fireballs at the Commander from a far distance. While Zhao only dodges Zuko's flames.
One time he block Zuko's attacks with his arms.
Most of the time it was just Zuko in offence while Zhao was on defence.
From looking at the Commander closely. The heroes, the students and the villains can see that Zhao was only playing with Zuko, while the Prince his taking this seriously.
"Zhao is being cocky, he's just toying with Zuko, you can tell from that smile on his face." Aizawa said.
"While Zuko is clearly wanting to win this… Agni Kai? I'm not sure who is going to win?" Vlad King asks.
"Watch closely boys, I think the young Prince is going to win." Midnight said.
As the three teachers talk. The Todoroki Brothers watch the two Firebenders fight.
'I seen Zuko fight up close against Aang, seeing him fight from a distance, I can see what Kendo meant this is a Chinese martial arts. The Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. See Zuko his firebending is short burst off FIre Balls, very different when I fight.' Shoto thought. 'I can do the same I just need to find a teacher. As for my ice if this show a different martial art maybe I can learn that and use it with my ice.'
For Dabi seeing Zuko fights Zhao he can tell who's going to win. From his own experience fighting, toying your opponent leads to your own downfall. He sighs hoping to Zhao to win, instead of his brother's twin.
19:20 - 19:33
The fight continues. In this scene Zhao went to offence while Zuko became the one of defence. Zhao attacked Zuko three times before the Prince hit the floor.
Not knowing who to root for the Audience is silence, but the ones who felt sorry for Zuko were shock to see him on the floor and continue to cheer in silence.
19.33 - 19:49
"Hell Yeah! Sweep the leg." Eijiro said making a movie reference. "That's a manly move Zuko!" the red-headed boy said not caring what people thinks when he cheered for the Prince.
19:49 - 20:05
The Audience who are secretly roots for Zuko smiled to see that fight went to the Prince's favor, even knocking off Zhao to the floor.
"Yeah Zuko!" Izuku cheered.
20:05 - 20:10
Since the fighting starts, the students cheer to see who would win in this fight. They forgot that once one declares a winner. The Winner must scar their opponent.
The smiles drop forgetting a small fact about the Agni Kai.
"Pl-please Zuko! Please Don't do it!" Izuku said believing it is good inside the Prince.
"Are you kidding yourself Deku? Zuko is the villain. Like any villain, they would jump the chance to burn their opponent.
"I don't believe that Kacchan."
Bakugo just scoffed at Deku. "Suit yourself, nerd. Finish him Zuko!"
20:10 - 20:24
The Scene shows that Zuko did shoot out his fire.
To everyone, they believe that Zuko would scar the Commander. To their surprise they were wrong. Zuko did in fact shoot his fire, but he aim at the floor instead towards Zhao's face to match his own scar.
"Wait what! He's right there, What the Fuck did you miss!" Tomura asks.
"It's simple Tomura. Zuko plans to win the Agni Kai but has no desire in scarring Zhao in the first place." This mentor said.
"You win some you lose some." Himiko shrugs. "Though I don't know why he didn't burn Zhao's face and leave him with a scar. I was expecting to see burned flesh and blood dripping, oh well."
That is the question on everyone's mind. Why a villain like Zuko didn't do what they expect from a villain. Scarring Zhao that is the actions of a villain, and yet he didn't.
The thought of the conversation earlier with Aizawa and Midoriya is that Zuko should really be labelled as a villain. If they were in their world it would be easy to mark the prince as a villain.
From seeing his action of not scarring Zhao and a man who just insulted the Prince since he learn that Zuko failed to capture the Avatar. Zuko didn't do a villain action.
Now their not sure what to call Zuko, or Maybe? Midoriya is right about not seeing this world from their world's perspective, seeing Zuko just now. Some start to see that their world is seen in Black and White.
In this world their starting to see that there is more than black and white. Perhaps this world even in war there is, Grey.
Izuku smiles to see that it is good in Zuko.
20:24 - 21:00
Even the fight ended and Zuko is the victor. Zhao on the other hand went to attack Zuko from behind. Shocking everyone from the Commander's actions.
His attack wasn't a success. They were surprised that Iroh stopped Zhao's Firebending attack by grabbing Zhao's foot cancelling the kick then pushing him off to the ground once again.
Izuku writes down that Iroh is a master Firebender that was shown in the last two previous episodes when teaching his nephew. Now even how little the scene is he did see Iroh in action. He hopes to see more of Iroh in action.
To the Heroes' surprise thinking Iroh is going to attack Zhao or let his nephew to scar the commander. They were surprised that none of those two scenarios played out. Instead, Iroh stops his nephews in order for his victory wouldn't be tainted.
Bakugo listens to what Iroh said to Zhao.
"So this is how the great Commander Zhao acts in defeat? Disgraceful. Even in exile, my nephew is more honorable than you."
Hearing those words, Katsuki couldn't help but remember how he won the Sports Festival.
He wanted a good fight with Half-N-Half using his damn fire against him. But the Fucker didn't, he just threw the fight and gave the victory to Katsuki.
Katsuki went to attack Half-N-Half wanting him to continue and use his damn fire. Then Midnight uses her quirk on him to make him fall to sleep.
What's worst the whole world saw it and the League of Villains saw it, it was their damn reason to kidnap him. He accepts that he wasn't the reason why All Might lost his powers, but if he just accepted his tainted victory and just left the arena, maybe the League of Villains wouldn't consider kidnapping him.
Now the voice of Iroh echos in the back of his head, but with different words.
"So this is how Katsuki Bakugo acts in victory? Pathetic. No wonder he's the reason why All Might lost his powers."
Anger may show in his face like a mask, but behind all of that pride and anger, is sadness and shame that no lie could ever cover his truth.
21:00 - 21:11
Tamaki only chuckle at what he heard from Iroh. "I'm pretty sure Iroh did mean what he said to Zhao and liking Ginseng Tea."
"Yeah, I have to agree." Mirio said. Thinking what Midoriya said about is Zuko really the villain? Now believing that there is good within the Prince that they don't know yet?
From the washroom. Kosei and 1B finally came back from the washroom finally calming down Kosei as they return to their seat.
Kosei notice that his spill tray is gone and the messy floor is now clean. When he sat down a new try appeared from thin air. On it there was already a smale China tea cup with calming Jasmine tea, meant for him.
He drank his tea to calm his nerves after from all the crying that happened.
(I know in Avatar Lore that Iroh's favorite tea is Jasmine, I guess Ginseng is the original favorite before it turns into Jasmine. If you watch this episode in subtitles it says Ginseng, not Jasmine.)
21:11 - 21:51
The scene shifts back to the Southern Air temple showing Aang glowing. Even though the glow itself covers his eyes from the light. Kosei and everyone can see that Aang is grieving even when he is in his strongest.
"No matter how strong you get, you still have the ability to grief." Fumikage said. Understanding Aang's feeling of grief, as he holds the hand of Tsuyu Asui, as they watch this.
Kota Izumi understands what Aang is feeling, just like Katara he lost not just his mommy but his daddy too. Even though he has still missed them for the last 3 years since they pass away, he still loves them.
Just like Katara said She and Sokka is Aang's family now just like the Wild Wild Pussycats are his family now.
Kosei feels sad that Aang lost his people, but even though he feels hurt, a part of him is happy that Aang is not alone and he has his friends by his side making them his new family.
21:51 - 22:09
When the glow ended Aang fell into Katara's arms as she hugs him.
A lot of the students were having a hard time accepting the truth because it was a pill that was hard to swallow. They slowly accept the fact that. The Firebenders reach this temple and the other Air Temples.
They accept that no Airbenders were able to escape from the wrath of the Firebenders.
Kosei just like everyone accepted the harsh truth.
Aang is the Last airbender.
They bow their heads to respect the fallen Airbenders and the Fall of the Air Nomads.
Izuku wrote down on Aang's page a status that was difficult to write. "Aang The Last Airbender." A tear drops off his face when writing the status of Aang.
22:09 - 22:22
The scene changed with Aang staring at the statue of Avatar Roku.
"So Avatar Roku is the man who is going to help Aang on his Avatar Journey." Jorota said.
"How could he help? He died when Aang was born. Like Hello. His Aang's past life, they can't really meet up inside of Starbucks to buy coffee and chat about his Avatar journey. They can't really do that." Setsuna said.
"I don't know Tokage, If this is the standard in the Avatar Journey, I think Aang is going to find a way." Kosei said. "If Avatar Roku was able to do it and talk to his past life the Earthbender Avatar, I think Aang can do the same thing with Roku." he raises an eyebrow and questions the girl. "Really Starbucks?"
"Don't give me that look, I like their strawberry lemonade. "Setsuna said, "Five minutes ago his the one crying, now he's the one who making the joke. like wow!" she hugs Tsuburaba as she shakes him. "It's nice to see you happy again, buddy."
she and others laugh, they're happy to see that Tsuburaba is happy.
22:22 - 22:39
The scene shows that Lemur that Aang and Sokka went to chase. The furry animal returns and he brought gifts.
"Hey that's cool the Lemur gave Sokka some food." Sen said.
Kosei just chuckles a bit. "Yeah, at least Sokka gets to eat since Aang burns his food, literally." Kosei said. "I think the Lemur is joining the team."
"A team?" His friend and a couple of students looked at Kosei.
"You know their team, you can't really call a trio anymore now with the Lemur and Appa is part of the team too. Now really thinking about the name that I have in the back of my mind is to call them, Team Avatar."
The student just nodded and agree that is a good team name.
Izuku thinks so too, he wrote a new page with Team Avatar and their member's names including Appa and the Lemur.
"Umm, I wonder what Aang is going to call the Lemur?" Yaoyorozu said.
22:39 - 22:57
Yaoyorozu's classmates and 1B students start to laugh to hear the name of Aang's new Lemur friend.
The Avatar named him, Momo.
The same first name as the girl with the creation quirk user.
The girl herself is furious to share the name with a Lemur. Especially when her friends start to tease her about it.
"Hey Yaoyomomo, Momo has the name as you." Mina said trying to hold giggles.
"HEY MOMO! Hi!" Yaoyorozu looked at her friend Jiro. "Oh no Yaoyorozu I was talking to Momo the Lemur." She said starting to laugh.
"YaoyoLemur! I mean LemurRozu! I Girl what's up." Yosetsu Awase said trying to flirt with her.
Yaoyorozu just has enough and made a hoodie to hide from her embarrassment.
22:57 - 23:18 (last scene)
The last scene was quiet but it did play a piece of nice music.
It shows Team Avatar flying away with Appa. It had Aang seeing his old home for the last time. A home once was full of life and joy.
Now just brought the Young Airbender sadness.
Today's episode gave them so much lore about the Avatar and learn a lot about Zuko.
Besides the epic fight and the fun, the biggest impact on all is the truth of what happened to the Airbender.
Kosei Tsuburaba took it the hardest. Coming into the theatre room he didn't expect to be Inspired by Aang and the Air Nomads.
It became Heartbreaking when he found out the truth.
Now that the truth was been revealed, he wonders what happens to Team Avatar in the next episode.
Next Episode
The Warriors of Kyoshi.
Til Next Time.
Wow, this was a challenging chapter to make. I knew that I wanted to make myself as emotionally sad as possible. This is my first attempt at writing an emotional chapter. To be honest I always want to write an emotional scene. Hiro Mashima the writer of the anime Fairy Tail is basically my idol when it comes to sad emotional scenes.
This chapter was different most of the majority was 1B in which it's different from reaction fanfic, most of the time it was 1A. I'm proud I made the focus for this chapter with 1B. I really love writing Kosei. Speaking of 1B in the previous chapter I mention that Neito Monama is my favorite 1B character, I wasn't kidding he really is my favorite 1B character.
Anyway I'm taking a break, before I come back and do episode 4 I want to go back and write my other fanfic the Stardust Hero. the next chapter is almost done.
Before I go, I want to give a shout-out to my friend at Discord WizardWolf1020 he helped me with this chapter with my writing.
Anyways guys like I said I'm taking a break before the next chapter is posted don't worry it won't belong.
Bye for now everyone.
