Thorin and his younger brother Frerin follow their crazed grandfather to war with the orcs within Moria, though they never could have guessed the consequences. Could this be what drove Thorin to act as he does? The loss of something precious can break a fractured heart, but in the end, stronger is the mend.

The dwarves are an affectionate bunch, particularly with Bilbo as he has no family on the journey to keep him company. Unfortunately, they don't realise that they are being just a little bit too rough with their hobbit. How will they react when they find out? This is Dwalin/Bilbo but very minimal.

She was never supposed to join the company of Thorin Oakenshield, but Riswynn was unlike most dwarven women, and she would be damned if she didn't get her revenge on the dragon that cursed her family.
