During Opal's vacation from the air nation, she travels to Republic City to spend some time with her boyfriend. On a date together, they get on the bad side of a dangerous group of criminals. Adventure ensues. Story mainly focuses on Bopal and detective Mako but Korrasami are in the mix too. Takes place post-series.

"Things had been going so fast for Asami once she returned from the Spirit World vacation. Once again, Future Industries had a contract to rebuild the city's infrastructure alongside Varrick Industries (even though she was still suspicious of him) and she had the best girlfriend anyone could have, Korra. Things were finally looking up for her."

Korra was defeated by Tarrlok and caputed, but the waterbender isn't as good as he thinks he is, and the anger will drastically change some citizens of Republic City.

During Korra's long recovery from her battle with Zaheer, Asami writes her friend two letters everyday. One she sends to Korra, hoping for a response back, the other she rips up and tosses into the wind. My take on the Korrasami development, takes place mostly in book four, rated T for language.

The Spirit World welcomes an untested couple. Korra and Asami may be looking for an isolated, relaxing vacation, but what they find is a place where deep-seated emotions and unspoken fears cannot be ignored.

Lin tried to dismiss the idea of having a child – it was a dream she gave up decades ago when she learned that she was infertile after years of trying with Tenzin. But somewhere deep within hadn't given up on the notion. And that hopeful glimmer of normalcy softened the Chief's features. Maybe she could have a family, after all.
