"The credit goes to Bella." Edward said.
"Aah no! I didn't do much!" I smiled.
Three weeks later, we were out for a party with his friends. We had finally got the deal for the project Aspect!
"No, really! Her business instincts are like Mom!"
What? Now I guess that was the best compliment he could have ever given to me! He really looked up to his mother.
"I've known him since ages, and this is the first time I've seen this arrogant bastard giving credit to anyone! Consider yourself lucky, Bella!" His best friend James laughed.
"Oh please! I always give credit when it's due!" Edward rolled his eyes.
"Sorry, I can't recall a single other instance." James said.
"I guess this would make you remember it." he opened the champagne bottle and poured on James's head.
"You bastard!" James said and grabbed another bottle to pour on him.
It was so fun to see him like this! He was totally in a different element tonight. He was drunk and totally carefree!
He burnt the dance floor! He even pulled me with him and swept me off my feet.
We spent the rest of the evening making out with each other in the club and also in the backseat of the car on our way back to the home.
We hadn't even made it to our bedroom!
He had pinned me against the wall me as soon as we entered our home which led to the most passionate sex I have ever had!
I could feel something changing inside me that night.
I kissed him softly on his lips after he was asleep.
I was afraid I had begun to like him!
But may be there was nothing to be afraid of? May be I just got lucky?
What if we could have something more from this marriage?
Was it really possible though?
Was it really possible to have a real marriage and not just a compromise?
But we hardly even knew each other. How could we make this work?
But may be it was worth giving a try?
"Turn off your damn alarm." Edward groaned next day. I smiled as I noticed his arm and leg tightly wrapped around me.
"I need to get up. It's my Yoga time!" I said.
"You're not going to die if you miss Yoga for a day." he said without bothering to change his position.
"Yeah, I agree." I smiled.
