The answer was supposed to be 'No'!

"Are you having an affair with her?" No!

I mean, how could I be having an affair with someone I hadn't even met in years!

Why did I have to make it so complex?

I was really surprised to hear Angela's name after ages. That came up out of nowhere!

I still didn't understand why would Alice even mention her? Did she even know her? Did Jasper and she were together before I broke up with Angela or did they start dating after that? I couldn't even remember!

I was confident that my answers had pissed off Bella, but well, she could have shown a little bit of faith in me! She didn't even give me the full context about what Alice and she had talked about! She just started accusing me!

I was sure she certainly wouldn't have liked if I had started asking her the same questions in an accusing manner just because some third person had said something to me!

Did you want to marry him?

Did you ever love him?

Do you still love him?

Are you having an affair with him?

Yup, she would have hated it too if I had asked her the same questions with the tone she had used!

I found myself getting angry again as I recalled those questions. To be honest, the complete lack of faith in her eyes was really disheartening! Okay, she might have had her doubts because of the condition I had brought up while defining the terms before getting married, but those were different circumstances!

Had I not given her any reason to show the tiniest bit of faith in me?

But why was she so agitated? May be she was upset because of there was a possibility that something happened at Swan Inc., like three days ago?

I wondered what she was doing in there in the bedroom. Should I go and check? But if I went there now, she'd say she wanted to take a shower and ignore me!

May be I should just give her time! Yeah, I could give her clarifications when she was actually in the right state of mind to believe me, instead of just accusing me!

That's when I saw her coming with a bag in hand!

"Oh, so are you seriously going somewhere? What? Wait!" I got up immediately.

What? Had she lost her mind? What was fucking wrong with her?

"Bella, what are you doing? Like, where are you going? What's going on? Why are you overreacting?" I asked.

"I'm not obliged to tell you anything about my whereabouts." she snapped.

Well, okay, I deserved that I guess!

"That was a smart answer, good job!" I said, "But I'm asking from the trackability perspective. What if we've some emergency here and I need to reach out to you?" That was a good argument, right?

"I'm not going to any cave. I've my phone with me. You can call me if there's an emergency." she said.

She opened the trunk of her car and threw her bag.

Was she being serious? Like, why? Why was this overreaction? I didn't get it!

"But you said we're going to do something fun this weekend. This is certainly not my definition of 'fun'!" I joked. May be that would stop her? But apparently not!

Okay, I guess this was getting out of hands. I wasn't sure why she was behaving like this, but I needed to tell her the truth.

"Look, Bella... I..."

"Yes, I'm leaving so you can have fun as per your definition!" she snapped before I could complete my sentence, "But I've a request. When I'm not at home, I don't want anybody else on my bed!"

I was taken aback.

Not just she was accusing me of having an affair, she was also suggesting that I would fuck someone else in our room, on our bed!

That was enough! I also had some self-respect!

"Please don't worry about that." I said, "We have plenty of rooms in the house."

I hoped she realized how angry she had made me.

"Cool, thank you." she said.

Cool? Thank you?

Really?

She had fucking lost her mind. She was acting like a child right now.

"If you want to act like a child and leave like a coward, then well, I can't do anything about it. Go fuck yourself!" I snapped.

Okay, may be the last part was unnecessary, but I was really angry.

"Why would I do that?" she laughed, "You should remember that the contract that we discussed earlier works both way! I'm sure I can get someone to fuck me!"

Okay, that was a really low blow!

Fine, she could fucking do whatever the hell she wanted, I didn't give a damn!

"Cool, I really don't care." I said, "And you know what? You can pull as many shitty stunts as you want, but you're not getting any answers from me!"

"Sure, that's fine with me." she closed the car door and started the car.

I was stunned.

I guess this was a really good reminder of who she was!

How could I forget that she was exactly like Mom!

A fake, pretentious, opportunistic, heartless bitch!

I should have known that she would go haywire if something didn't work as she wanted!
