"I had complete shut off my mind on this matter, I swear!" I said, "But I was just having the stupidest conversation of my life with myself and I realized that... I also have feelings for you."
Yes, I was stupid, but I hoped it's not too late yet!
She stared at me and then shook her head.
"You really don't need to do this." she said.
"What?" I said, "I'm not lying. I should have realized it earlier."
"You really, really don't need to do this to make me feel better."
Oh God! I guess this was going to be difficult!
"I'm not saying this to make you feel better. I'm saying this now because I was too stupid to realize it earlier. I'm sorry. I know I fucked this up." I said desperately.
"You know what? Now that I'm thinking about it, I think you gave me an opportunity to lead that project because you felt bad for me! You were trying to take a pity on me! And now, you're saying that you've feelings for me because of the same reason!" she snapped.
"You're unbelievable!" I said with disbelief.
"I am unbelievable?" she laughed, "Oh right! You're trying to take pity on me! You're making me feel so stupid and useless right now."
"Why would I take a pity on you? It's my fucking business. Why would I give the project to someone just because I pity them? It sounds so ridiculous. Do you even realize that?"
"I don't know." she said.
"You don't know because it's not true!" I said, "Look Bella, please, please give me a chance to explain everything."
I moved closer to her and took her in hand in mine, "I really like you and I really have feelings for you. I'm really happy around you. I should have realized this earlier. Please give me a chance to explain everything."
"Don't touch me!" she shrugged me away, "Get your shit together first!"
"What are you talking about?" I said incredulously, "I think I just got my shit together!"
"You don't even realize what the actual problem is, don't you?" she said.
"I honestly don't know what you're talking about." I said.
"You still love Angela and you don't even realize that." she said.

Now where did that come from?
"No, I don't!" I said.
"Yes, you do, and you don't even realize that because you have buried down those feelings somewhere deep down your heart!" she said.
I shook my head. What the hell was she talking about?
"Are you a mind reader?" I asked with disbelief, "How the hell do you know what's going on in my mind? Honestly I haven't even thought about her in years."
"But you still managed to bring her name few minutes ago that you loved her and you've moved on!" she said, "You haven't moved on! She's always on your mind."
"Well, I mentioned that because I'm stupid! I'm sorry!" I said, "Please give me a chance to explain. I'll try my best to tell you everything."
"No, I don't want to listen anything. I don't want to feel more stupid!" she said stubbornly.
