When Captain Kirk is suddenly struck down by a mysterious illness, Dr. McCoy is faced with the challenge of trying to save his best friend's life. But another force is at play, and it soon becomes clear that Jim's condition is no accident. A new chapter added that explains a lot of the mystery.

In the aftermath of Jim's death and revival at the fault of Khan, Spock believes that his captain would rather not be alone.

The Enterprise has barely begun its five year mission of exploration since the incident with Khan and it had been some time since Kirk had the blood transfusion, but Khan's blood it seems was having some adverse effects upon the Captain.

Christine Chapel was a name that Khan was unfamiliar with. Unfortunately, it seemed that everyone knew who she was and what had transpired between her and Jim Kirk. As Jim's significant other, Khan cannot let this go. Khan/Kirk. Khark. Slash. One-shot.

Black spots danced before her eyes as the Romulan crushed her neck. She felt her fingers wrap around the hilt of her knife, a six inch blade she kept razor sharp. She pulled it out of her pocket and with the strength she had left she stabbed backward. She felt the impact of the knife as it went into flesh and the coppery scent of blood filled the air.

The Uhura family take a vacation on Vulcan. Spock and Nyota are forced to interact.

Jim is bored in Sickbay. Jim tries to break out of Sickbay. Jim pisses a lot of people off while trying to break out of Sickbay, and learns a few things about the people that care for him. Visits from a couple of Spocks facilitate the process. One-Shot, post STID. Spoilers ahead.

Summary: A few days before McCoy joined Starfleet, he and Spock hooked up in some little town in Georgia. They aren't pleased to meet up again – especially since they're supposed to be dating other people. Trouble is, neither can stop thinking about it.

After Jim stumbles home from another bar fight, Bones decides he can't handle the kid and tells him he's done.
