And because of that and the fact that the super human's blood had saved Jim's life, Khan was spared and he wasn't even returned to his comatose state. But he's under scrutiny by Starfleet and is monitored as he spends time with Jim and his crew on the Enterprise. What ensues? Chaos, of course.
