The Watcher looked down to the home of Gwen Stacy that Peter Allen was swinging towards. "Love. It's such a powerful thing that can destroy or save an entire reality. However, this love, Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker have always led to powerful moments in the multiverse. Where this love will lead...only time will tell."

While that was going on with him, Gwen was in her bedroom and working on finishing up one of her assignments from school.

Peter swung over and changed out of his suit on the roof and landed outside her window as she continued to work. Once he made it and saw her working, he reached and knocked on the window.

Gwen looked up from her notebook and saw Peter sitting out there and smiled. She stopped working and went over and opened it up for him.

"Hey." Gwen greeted him, wondering why he was out there. "How'd you get out there?"

Peter smiled and gestured to the fire escape he was on. "Up the fire escape."

"It's twenty stories," Gwen informed him.

"Your doorman's very strict on guests," Peter commented.

Gwen then moves out of the way and allowed Peter inside. Peter looked around and saw the room wasn't anything different than he was expecting. Some books, posters of a few bands he's never heard of, stuff like that

"So..." Peter had no idea what to do or say. But then he remembered what to do and grabbed his bag. "Oh, I bought you guys this." He then pulled a bouquet out of his bag and noticed they were ruined by the swinging and smacking.

"Oh," Gwen said at the sight. "Lovely."

"They...they were nice," Peter muttered, becoming embarrassed.

"No, it's okay," Gwen assured him.

"I'll just..." Peter just decided to put them back in her bag. "I'm sorry."

"No, it was thoughtful," Gwen said when the door opened, and her father walked in.

"Hey, hon," George said when he then noticed Peter in her room. "You must be Peter."

"Hi," Peter said, trying to make a good first impression. As good as can be made considering he's currently in this man's daughter's bedroom. He went over and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, sir."

George was at least happy to see the boy his daughter's been talking about is polite. Even seemed a bit nervous about this. A sigh he doesn't do things like this often.

"Nice to meet you too. Dinner's ready." George told him as he shook his hand. "Hope you like branzino."

"Who doesn't?" Peter replied.

Connors was back in his home and running experiments on his new arm, wondering what it was that caused it to suddenly appear.

As he was running his experiments, he scratched his neck only to notice that there were scales down his neck.

"My god..." Connors commented and wonders what is happening to him.

Max was getting tired and made his way into Jitters, the lights flickering as he entered the establishment. Walking up to the cashier, she was surprised to see bolts of yellow lighting shooting off of Max.

"What are you staring at?" Max asked her.

"Uh...what can I get you?" Iris West asked as she had no idea what to make of this.

"Coffee. Black." Max answered and placed his hands on the counter, all the metal easily beginning to conduct the electricity.

"Right away," Iris said in fright and ran to get it finished.

As she was doing that, Max was starting to get a headache and sent a blast of energy out. Max cried in terror as Iris had his coffee done, but that ended in Max blasting lightning all around the room.

Iris ducked behind the counter and was shocked at what she was seeing, a man blasting electricity around the room. That was followed by some people pulling their phones out and recording the scene.

Back with the Stacy's, they were eating dinner with no idea what was going on downtown.

"George, why don't you tell us about your day?" Helen Stacy, Gwen's mother, asked her husband.

"Yeah, dad, did you catch that spider guy yet?" Howard, Gwen's brother, asked his father.

"No, we didn't catch him yet. But we will." George said, earning Peter's attention. "He's an amateur who's assaulting civilians at the dead of night. He's clumsy, he leaves clues. But he's still dangerous. Worse than that Arrow guy in Starling. Just prefer to catch this guy before bodies start piling like he first started doing."

Peter was confused about what he was being accused of and insulted at the idea he would start killing people. "Assaulting? He's assaulting people?" He then seemed to be getting her father's attention, and probably not for the best. "I wouldn't think so. A bunch of guys at school found videos with him and the car thief the other night, looked like he was providing public service. You know, most people seem to think he's like a Good Samaritan."

"Well, most people would be wrong," George replied to that. "If I wanted the car thief off the street, he'd already be off the street."

"Why wasn't he then?" Peter asks, feeling he's missing something.

That seemed to tick George off a little and the two looked at one another. Gwen then broke the silence with a cough and saw that did little to help.

"Let me illuminate you," George told Peter. "The car thief was leading us to the people who run the entire operation. A six-month-long sting. Called strategy. Ever heard of it in school?"

"I know." Peter whisperer, a little insulted at that. "Obviously he didn't know you had a plan."

George then started to bro is he knew a lot about the manner. "You know, you seem to know a lot about this case. Do you know something we don't? Who's side are you on anyway?

"I'm-I'm not on anyone's side." Peter tried to cool the tension. "I'm just saying, I like that he helps people. Stops bad guys, the guy gets a lot of videos online."

"Oh. So, you saw videos off the internet." George said, Peter easily hearing the sarcasm in his voice and Gwen sighed seeing Peter got her dad going. "The case is closed."

"No, I'm just saying, I think the guy's just trying to do something the police can't do."

"Something the police can't?" George asked and Peter then realized he should've worded that better. "What do you think we do? Sit around all day eating donuts with thumbs up our asses?"

"George." Helen tried to calm him down.

"Dad." Gwen tried to calm her dad down.

"Up their what, dad?" Howard asks.

"I think he stands for what you do." Peter tried to explain. "Protecting people from criminals."

"I stand for law and order. That's what I stand for." George informed Peter. "I wear a badge. He wears a ski mask like a...like an outlaw."

"Well, what about the Arrow?" Peter asked. "Didn't he save the city twice?"

"Yeah, while also dropping bodies in the meantime." George reminds Peter. "He wasn't interested in protecting people, and neither is this guy."

Gwen then decided to step in and try and stop this. "Peter, why don't we get some air?"

Then with that, Gwen got up and Peter saw he should at least make amends.

"Thank you for dinner and information. I'm sorry if I insulted you, it wasn't my intention."

"You're welcome." George was happy to see this boy known to be polite directly.

"The branzino was delicious, Ms. Stacy," Peter said as he follows Gwen to the rooftop.

Once the two do them made it to the roof, they both let out a sigh after that conversation.

"That was...something," Gwen commented no idea what to make of that.

"I'm sorry." Peter apologizes. "I was afraid he was gonna arrest me."

"Nah, I wouldn't let him arrest you," Gwen assured him.

Peter sighed as he looked down at the height. Then he saw he couldn't keep this in and it was killing him, keeping it a secret from May, he needed to tell someone.

"I'm going to tell you something," Peter said as he looked towards Gwen again.

"Oh, okay." Gwen decided to hear him out.

"I've been...I was bitten..." Peter tried to find out the best way to explain this to her.

"You're not gonna say you've been bitten by a love bug or something cheesy like that, are you?" Gwen asks as Peter laughed at hearing that.

"No, it's...I don't... I don't. No, forget it." Peter said no idea how he was supposed to explain this. "I wish I could tell you, but it's...it's hard."

"What?" Gwen asks.

Peter sighed and spaced himself from her, trying to find out how to explain it to her.

"Fine. Forget it." Gwen says and starts to walk away.

Peter then stopped her by shooting a web strand at her hand. That gets Gwen's attention quickly before he pulled her back over to her.

Peter quickly caught her and Gwen was amazed to see he was the masked man. Before she could speak, she pulled him for a kiss before either of them could talk. They just kissed for a moment before her mother came up looking for her.

"Gwen? Your father wants you to come inside. Something is going on." Helen called to her daughter.

"Okay," Gwen said as she went in and her mother left.

As she made her way inside, Peter sensed something and looked out to the distance to see electricity shorting in and out.

From the sight of the dozens of police coming in and picking up George as they drove off got Peter to guess it wasn't a power outage.

Seeing it was time to make an exit and suit up, he walked and leaped off the side of the balcony.

Gwen watched as Peter dropped off the side and sighed.

"Oh, I'm in deep trouble." Gwen could easily see.

From this point on, nothing would ever be the same.
